Welcome back, and is New York really rioting?
0:07 [music] Hello. Hello. We are back live. Seeing some comments coming through. Let the fun begin. Whiskey waving. Let it begin. Let it begin. Welcome everyone. Welcome to another episode. Glenn's already saying we're from New York City, the home of the NBA champions finally. Oh my god. That mean Rory was telling me like, "You don't understand how feral New York is right now." And I thought, you know what I told him? I said, "Mate, I was in Liverpool when they won the Champions League and 750,000 people turned out." And he goes, "Yeah, mate, but New York is literally like riots right now." Yeah.
0:53 And I was like, "Oh my god." And then I looked at the news feed and I was like, "Oh my god, you guys are absolutely crazy. What the hell is going on?" It's crazy. What's crazy as well is that New York is right in I remember when the Chicago won it. There was riots in Chicago. When Paris won the Champions League the other day when they were robbed when they robbed Arsenal, they were right in there. Um Arsenal, we were we were the most behaved group, which is [laughter] which is quite surprising. We had a million people on the street and then there was hardly any incidents which is shocking. North You had a million people on the street. Million people. North London over London like everyone just put their their differences aside and just just celebrated and it was it was uh
1:39 yeah shocking but congratulations New York. Uh exactly. Yeah. And again we might be getting the wrong news here if it is like not actually writing. You guys are there, you know, a lot more of the inside scoop and you know, we're just literally seeing things on our social media feeds that have fed from you guys and it's crazy. Big Al's with us. Let's go. That is really true actually because I remember when the London riots happened. I think it was 2012 and my dad was on holiday in Jamaica and one of my good friends was in Maitius and he goes to me, they were watching the news and they was like, "Oh my god, London's burning." And I was like, "No, it's not. It's not like [laughter] that." Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. taking probably one clip of many things and just showing it over and over again and thinking it's really bad, but actually it was not
2:25 bad at all. So, we got Black Light tuning in. One of my favorite people to talk to in the AI space now. Thank you so much, man. You're the best. As Glenn said, it's all AI rioting. Fake news. It's fake propaganda, guys. We're we're buying into it, you know, because we're abroad. We don't know. We're not on the streets. We don't actually see it. Like Andrew is saying with the London one. Yeah, I saw just craziness. You know, London's burning. London's burning. Talk to my mates in London. How's it in London? It's all right, mate. It's not that bad. As everyone's saying, you know, it's like, but but we know that the clickbait gets more headlines and more clicks and more impressions and this gives you more ads and this is the continuous cycle of extreification of like headlines, right? Like it's all it's on topic. As they say, the truth is irrelevant as the light if the light is more entertaining.
A viral AI slop satire of Anthropic's Mythos
3:15 Exactly, mate. Do you know what's really crazy, right? And this is slop. Don't get me wrong. This is genuinely slop. Like, even the characters are some of the most sloppy characters that have gone viral in YouTube. But just talking on the segue of like recent news and this weird me this this was posted today or yesterday and it's about the recent AI news and it's in a sort of sloppy style, but it's getting millions of impressions on X. Check this out. Godamn, I love being gay and evil. How we doing? Feeling gay and evil today. Gay and evil. Can we get a little more gay and evil with it today?
4:01 Hey, buddy. What's wrong, Sam? I'm I'm feeling gay, but I don't feel evil today. If you're not gay and evil, then get the [ __ ] out. Anthropic is warning [applause] that their new model, Mythos, might be the most dangerous [music] cyber weapon ever created. We've created something so dangerous we can't even release it. It could hack your DNA, start a new pandemic, destroy democracy, make you homeless, [music] and even kill you. But don't worry, [music] we're the good guys. In a surprise to everyone, after telling the US military they can't be trusted with their new AI super [music] weapons, Anthropic decided to give it to literally everyone. So, this is the cyber weapon they said could end the world.
4:51 That's right, sir. Everyone but us. That is correct, sir. Are they [ __ ] Sir, I think they're just gay and evil. It's the president. They turned off your super weapon. But only [music] I can decide who gets my super weapon. What is happening in the world right now, man? Seriously. Like, you know, we had like so many World Cup deadlines. Paul is on holiday again. We got no producer on the show this week. He wasn't here last week. I was desperately trying to play with the mythos, you know, fable thing, which was only available for five days until the US government literally said no foreigners, even those within the USA borders. So, UK people living in America can no longer access this model.
Why was Mythos only available for five days?
5:36 And then it turns out that Anthropic themselves pulled the plug on everyone, you know, saying that that's unfair and that USA should not have an advantage. So, fair play to them on that. But like, what is going on that a model is released, we get to taste the future, 5 days of it. You have to have been like able to use this for 5 days, otherwise you just never got access. And when is it ever coming back? Is it ever coming back? You know, like it's crazy what's going on right now. I think this is just a sign of a sign of many things to come and are we going to get to the point where we're going to be weaponizing AI from a depending on where you're from because all right only America this is the best model but only the Americans can use it or this is the best model but only Chinese people can use it or this is the best model but this is what
Will the best AI models be locked to certain countries?
6:24 separation is about and I think that there's a very dangerous path now the flip side of that is then coming from the UK then the UK government or the UK companies has got to pull their finger out and do something because if this is the then you'll see England go from a first world nation to a second or third world nation very very quickly. Um scary isn't it? I hope it doesn't go that way. I don't like the idea of only a certain group of people can do it and you can't do it based off nothing of like based off of something that you have zero choice about. Yes. Exactly. Just Like I see a few people tuning in right now from Italy and thank you so much for tuning into the show. I have met some of the most you know Marco who was just on in the green room Andrew and many other Italian people working are some of the best in the AI space right I find
Could Italy ban AI?
7:17 it fascinating and yet when I talked to Samuel Poi who I met in Google IO he said that the Italian government is legitimately thinking about outright banning AI within a few months and they're going to have a They did chat to Yeah. And then VPN was the number one Google search term because soon as this happened and as you said like it's almost silly to think that like and this is another segue right um the UK government just banned social media for under 16s and I'm quite happy about this but within that restriction does not come WhatsApp discord and many of the other things that we talk about when you know we refer to social media so this is specifically algorithmic approaches to distribution of content And I'm quite for that, you know, like I like the direct message of actual friends and people, you know, that you're
Should under-16s be banned from social media?
8:08 sending content to. And I don't like this whole everything's like sent to us thing that kids' brains when they're not, you know, fully matured and just not it's just propaganda, isn't it? Like that they don't know even from people they don't know. It's it's really insane. And so I'm kind of happy about this, but it is a very controversial subject obviously. Yeah, very controversial. I think I'm kind of mixed as well. You know, I completely understand why they're doing it, but they're doing it for a doom scrolling point of view, not a bullying point of view. Because if it was for bullying, in what? That's where that's always been the issue from Blackberry Messenger to like it's all that's where a lot of things are kind of created. Um, and bullying groups are created. So, it just seems to be an algorith
8:57 an algorithmic point of view. But when they started banning for example YouTube, this is where I was like, okay, but what about all the people that are doing well on YouTube or they got YouTube channels or for for school and studying and like that's where I was like, it sounds good in theory, but what happens next? How are you going to actually implement enforce it? Yeah. Going to start going to other places. Yeah, but I mean the thing is mate, we've had we've had some really like Lola, thank you. if you're watching Lola, she brought this subject up, you know, and we had a really good group chat about this and there was really really good opinions on either side of the argument. [snorts] Like my argument is that everyone in that WhatsApp group is much like us. They're kind of hackers. They're going to get around this. There's no way to stop it. You know, VPNs and you know, we're techy people.
9:47 We'll easily get around this. But if it just stops like a large chunk of kids doing this, then I think it's a net good, you know, that an algorithmic approach to not getting their feeds fed to them and having more interactions with humans directly in WhatsApp and Discord and wherever else cuz the internet won't stop. You know, it's not like the social media will stop for them. They'll just, you know, water always finds a crack and so they'll just find the other alternative apps that aren't banned and communicate with each other there. they'll become very popular. You know, we know how kids work. Jenzie and Jennif would have found a way at that age for sure. And that was my argument in the group is that like I just think that actually it's negligent parents rather than the kids themselves
10:33 because if you look at like the offcom stats which are like the UK polling of like parents and kids only 30% of parents actually look at what their social media of their kids is is doing have any awareness of their online presence or what they're being fed. Only 30% mate. That's such a low number to be like, you know, number. But the the thing is it's let's say for example, you look at your kids this week, but their feed could be completely different next week. So it's not like a look at it once and okay, I kind of get it good that they're Oh, exactly. But it changes so much. So you got to be constantly looking. Um I don't know how they're gonna do this to be honest. I don't know. We'll see. You know, it's so new. It's it's why we're in the news segment though.
11:19 You know, we're talking about all of the the banning of mythos/vable was my most peeous thing, but then the social media thing was the biggest hot topic good week, you know, in the UK. Anyway, uh Australia's already gone around this and so we're sort of seeing us, you know, Australia is a year ahead essentially of where the UK will be and so it's like you can already see that they're in Discord and WhatsApp and all these other various non-social media apps, you know, that uh that they've just flooded to, like I said, like to a crack. Yeah, I think what Margarita said was is true. It's still not holding the platforms accountable. Um Right. And I still feel that way, you know. control the algorithm, have a better idea of the algorithms. I think that's that could help more because I heard now I don't know whether or not this is true, but I heard that in for example in China on Tik Tok, you've got a lot more
12:12 educational content. Yes, you do uplifting content on algorithms than than we get. Like if I go on, you know, the biggest thing they have though, aside of that, mate, they've got a timeout. It will literally stop you watching their thing because they have like limits. You know, if you're doom scrolling, it's like no, you've It's funny because in our Tik Tok, you'll kind when when you do this cuz everyone's done it, let's be honest. You'll come across a video that said, you know, you've just doom scroll for this, you know, just get out of the app and but it then lets you continue whereas theirs literally says, "No, you've had enough today." You know, like you we recognize the pattern of doom scrolling and and what's funny is they're doom scrolling through education. They're not doom scrolling through mindless brain rot for the most part. So it's
12:58 it's like good stuff even is like too much if you're doom scrolling it like any doom scrolling is essentially a pattern of bad behavior that should be understood and alleviated. It's kind of insane. Better to do it because then you be a bit more selective of your time and that's life skill. But just banning it completely. I just like I said the kids are just going to work out how to get around it. Oh, they will. They will. But again, I think if just a third of the kids don't, net good. Net good. You know, twothirds of them might get around it. So be it. They'll find alternative ways. But net good that this is going to stop at least some kids from being doom scrolling so that they can have a childhood, man. You know, just have a childhood and then when you're past the age of 16, your brain's a bit more mature.
13:44 I'd argue men don't actually fully develop until 25. Like literally. Do we actually ever fully develop? [laughter] Well, no. As in like our brains stop, you know, like at least Yeah. Again, it's like it's all just numbers though, isn't it? It's like other people will be faster and there's no like number you can point as to like maturity. Like I was quite mature because I moved out of home really early whereas other people, you know, got more mature when later in life and stuff like that, you know. So, it's it's a lot. Anyway, we got a lot of hot topics coming straight out of the gate because it's a crazy news story. No videos to showcase in the news really cuz it's all just, you know, stuff that's happening like on a global level. We're not even mentioning the World Cup which has been
14:29 insane like it's too late for me though to be honest. I can watch the first game just about then after that I'm like you know what I'm just missing it because I'm I can't stay up I can't stay up till 2 3 5:00 in the morning. So yeah, it's called t it's called tactical napping. I'm a master. I'm a master when it comes to this. I'm I'm already practicing for the later rounds, but there's no England game past midnight, so we're all right. You know, the only good thing I'm like, "All right, cool. England's games are always they're on at decent times." What get into the Before we get into the other side, here's here's something that I heard the other day and and everyone in the comments, let us know your thoughts on this. When it comes to working in the UK, I don't know other countries, but in the UK, if you get made redundant,
Should AI replacing your job count as redundancy?
15:15 so what will happen is your job ro is redundant. So if I got made redundant, they can't say, "Right, Andrew, you've been made redundant and then go hire Chris to do the exact same role as me." It's the jobs being redundant and then the if they do hire Chris, it has to be it has to be some form of difference. Now, what China's done is they've said if AI replaces your job, which is what a lot of people are worried about, it's the same as being made redundant. So, it's saying that there has to be a reason like they can't just let AI just replace it. There has to be a reason and you get compensated as well. And I thought that was quite an interesting way to look at it. Well, it's an alternative to a tax, which is the other thing that's been, you know, like
16:01 given some merit. You know, we had an idea about carbon tax. If you have a lot of carbon output, then obviously you'll be taxed for that and then you'll have to pay back to the environmental causes. Then there was an AI tax where it's like, you know, if you're replacing your staff, then as a company, you can't just be way more profitable now on an AI system. you have to pay a tax which is going to be a large amount of that profitability back to the system so that others but again taxes and trickle downs and it's all numbers and yeah they'll just get around it like all it takes hey not impacted in us and next thing you know all these companies are registered in this kind like look how many companies are registered in Ireland you know get around they get round it do you know this crazy story about Ireland is that they are like you know as you say like the Apple and everything
16:53 headquarters and like there was a like you know 1 to 2% shift that was meant that the whole of the headquarters were going to look elsewhere you know just because of a one to because there's so many billion dollars these brands that this one to 2% is like you know the GDP of a country is freaking insane I love that Hugo's borrowing my tactical napping by the way I think I borrowed that from someone else actually uh so yeah it's It goes around. Tactical mapping now. Glenn says, [laughter] "Wait, the ice cream van might come." And uh we talked about making a graphic for this. Last week it didn't come and it was the warmest day of the week, right? The next day it was raining all day. Straight away it was uh it was uh he's hilarious, that guy. AI live is definitely registered in here.
17:43 And [laughter] one of them, Jimmy, we've Yeah. Saw your panel by the way, Jimmy, or at least I saw a photo of it in a group chat with Alex and stuff. How did that go, man? Let us know how that panel went. Good to see you guys on a panel doing cool stuff. Marco said, "It's easy to point out the errors of these companies, Entropic, etc." But so, uh, so but so often so tend to forget about. Yeah. Well, I mean, literally, he is the number one user of Claude in the world that I know. So, it's literally he's taught me everything I know about Claude in the last few weeks that I thought I knew that I don't actually know. So, I mean, he always ar we we go back and forth in WhatsApp talking about like I say that AI is very linear right now and it's intelligence.
18:34 It's not really general, you know, and we we underell how general human beings are. It's the same. Like when I was a weird segue, right? Um going from San Francisco airport to the hotel in a Whimo is one of the weirdest experiences ever because Yeah. And and half of the cars on the street, mate, are autonomous cars. Um it's insane. And this experience though of being in a Whimo where like it's pulling up to junctions and doing these things and it's seeing cyclists and making adjustments and you know you're seeing it in real time. You forget just how like crazy we are as humans that we don't have more accidents as car drivers. You know like it's insane that there are millions of cars on the road every day and literally only like a handful of bad accidents.
What a Waymo ride says about human versus AI intelligence
19:27 You know because we forget how general we are and how adaptable we are. We can do it whilst distracted. We can do it whilst we can see things. We can hear things like you know it. We are like AI way before AI is doing this stuff and it's it's really so that's what I mean about linear versus general intelligence is it's taken so long to crack that self-driving thing. It's still only in beta testing in San Francisco. It won't allow you on the highway and stuff. It won't do certain things that it's not like ready and trained for yet, you know, and we forget just how good we are at doing all that stuff just so easily. So adaptable. We're in We're insane as human beings. How adaptable we are. Exactly. As Ken said, and tactical driving now. Tactical napping and driving in a Tesla autonomously.
20:15 Yeah. Do it all. Glen, just do it all. Tactical. [laughter] I'll send you a tactical ice cream for a tactical portal hole and then we'll be all set for tacticality. [laughter] Should we watch some tactical videos? Yes, we should, mate. And thank you, Marco, by the way, who again just commented and watching. He suggested a lot of this week's videos cuz I've been away, Paul's been away, Andrew's been away. All of the people on this show have been literally so busy. So, Marco, we're about to watch the Marco show right now for real. I saw some of these. You suggested some of them to Andrew, like the Hal Wmouth one. We've had him on the show previously. Remember Hal? He uh he won the Curious Refuge competition and then we showcased him and he was very thankful. This was years ago.
Hal Watmough's The Trials, Beyond the Loop Season 2
21:01 Uh and one of our earliest guest episodes, I believe actually Hal was. And uh it's awesome to see now that he is season 2, episode 1 in the Wonder Studios uh Beyond the Loop series. And yeah, um it's a 30inut piece. So what we're going to do is go we're going to probably watch [snorts] one of my favorite 5minute chunks. Now, the problem with this obviously is that you're not going to get the backstories to the characters or how we got to where we got to, but it is, like I say, a 30 minute piece. So, obviously, we'll give the links and everything to watch the full YouTube stuff. It's available on Wonder right now. Uh, if you just search Wonder Hal Watmouth Beyond the Loop season 2 episode 1, you'll find it.
21:51 But yeah, this piece mate was unveiled at the church. You know, I was away at Upscale actually. The hoodie that I'm wearing is from Upscale. And um I was invited down by Justin Hackne to the church cuz they basically converted a church in London into their new office and did like a film premiere for this this thing. So, you know, a lot of people live watch this uh for 30 minutes. The sound design on it is is really really good. Um, but yeah, I'm just going to drop us into this world. And yeah, I apologize about the lack of backstory and the lack of everything else because it is a 30-minute piece where we would have to watch the first 15 minutes in order to get to the scene where we're going to get to. But let's just drop you in. Um, and then I'll boot us out.
22:40 [cheering] Heat. Heat. [music] [music] Clear the area. We are about to engage the hostile. You need to get out of here immediately.
24:06 Heat. [screaming] Heat. Prepare for contact. Heat.
24:59 Heat. Heat. Heat.
25:54 We come to test you. We come to judge you. [gasps] A chance to survive is granted. We summon this planet's [music] strongest and fastest. [music] Your chosen contenders will fight against our own to the death.
26:52 No. No. No. What are you doing? Heat. Heat. Heat.
27:39 Heat. Oh, heat, heat. [groaning] Heat.
28:26 Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat.
29:17 Heat. [screaming] I didn't unmute us. I forgot to unmute us again. God damn it. I need to remember to unmute us when I'm doing this. Sorry. Sorry. Sorry. Yeah. So, I'm just pausing it right there because this is obviously a massive piece that we can pause and and and all of that. Just have a bit of a reaction. Like Jimmy's given us the inside scoop that that there's about 20 people with EPs, etc. So, it is a small team, but it is a team. Hal Watmouth was the lead, you know, for this and he was the one that was on the show previously. But, yeah, a lot more involved in the whole thing. And like I said, we just dropped into the world here.
30:03 Didn't really give you the backstory of how they got here or why they're fighting animal on animal. I I kind of, you know, I don't want to give too much away. I want you to go watch the full thing on Wonders's YouTube stream. Uh, so go check it out over on Wonder. But yeah, insane, right? This is where we're at, mate. We're in June of 2026, and this is the type of stuff that you can premiere at the open of your church for 30 minutes with sound design with it looking like this. Isn't it crazy? Yeah. Do you know what it reminded me of? That scene reminded me of one of my favorite scenes in film, which is Oh, yeah. Um in Endgame when Captain America like is has to go fight this whole army by himself and then all of a sudden he looks around and then Sam comes flying out of the sky and then he looks and then Black Panther and then Spider-Man and all of those.
30:53 So it's like the t the is it the tiger or the cheetah came up first and then looked behind then the elephant and then the like he got back he's backed up with his team. He reminded me of that scene. I love the way he done that. He must have done from Endgame because it was very similar really well. I'd imagine there's many many references, you know, of all of the stuff about like, you know, inspirations and stuff. And Jimmy saying it's a bit intimidating because this is the first of six. This is episode one of the six. We also know Henry is uh going to be one of the other six. And I think Cavan the Kid is another one of the six. So, you know, a real allstar lineup for this uh this season on Beyond the Loop. It's it's inspiring. Honestly, it's inspiring. Like, uh Art List just launched a TV as well. They have artless.tv TV and and and many others are getting into this idea that publishing
31:40 and we've been saying all along this is what this show has always been you know like we're just giving a platform of publishing to watch cool stuff in advertising short film music videos whatever we find cool that's submitted to us by our community and whatever else we find cool on the internet that's pretty much it you know David's asking where can we find all of this yeah so go and subscribe to our newsletter on Luma so luma.com /ceedley and you'll find uh a newsletter there that will be sent to you with all of the links. But if you if you're tuning in through YouTube, which the majority of you are clearly through the comments, you just literally type in um you know, Beyond the Loop season 2 episode 1 Studio, and then you'll find it. And this is Howal Wattness Piece. Uh but yeah, it's awesome.
Behind the scenes of Beyond the Loop
32:30 Uh you showed me the behind the scenes, mate, so let's watch that straight away. Right. Um, I think they did a bit of a cap cap behind the scenes things for this. So, I hope this is the video. I didn't rename it in time. Let's see for generating [music] this clip of Shona. [snorts] Um, this is just after cheaters basically run away [music] and left her and saved her basically from the the alien. I got the start image generated with [music] Nano Banana uses my character references fed this into the [music] agent as the first frame told it was the first frame and then it can implement the shell prompt [music] that I've already told it about very handheld and cinematic shot incredibly dynamic along with all the shooting preferences camera preferences lighting [music] preferences
33:19 um and then you can iterate from there so it can generate out a take you can see what you like about it see what you don't like about it, feed back to it. It gives you suggestions as well. And then you can just build up your video that way and it will remember all of the references and everything that you've given it previously so that it's kind of a more of a back and forward uh fine-tuning process rather than just like re-rolling from scratch each time. [music] [music] Nice title slides.
34:09 This looks good, doesn't it? It just looks good overall. Like even the BTS and stuff with Cap Cut involved, it just looks good. And it's good to see this level of stuff. Yeah, I love when they they do the behind the scenes stuff, you know? I really how because obviously in films when we went from like video cassettes to DVDs and you had the behind the scenes, but it was just interesting to watch. These ones, it's not just interesting to watch, but it's really showing you how you can do it and how you can learn and do it yourself. You know, this is why I really like these behind the scenes ones because it's like, "Ah, I've never thought about that." Or, "Let me do this." Or, "Wow, look how much information that you have to put in one clip." Or he said things like, "I got this from Nano Banana." So, it wasn't some special um image generator that nobody has access to the same tools that you have.
34:57 So, that's I really like those behind the scenes. Well, yeah. As and when they can be done, I do too. You know, I don't know that everyone wants to give away their process. Exactly. But those that are willing, you know, it's great. But, you know, the the funnier one is remember LLO when he did that behind fake behind the scenes AI and it's like, you know, how the AI, you know, directors like with the cameras and stuff. Again, you can just do many alternative BTS's if you don't want to show workflows and stuff like that. You know, there's so much to offer. Right. Next one we're going to watch. This one is called The Butcher's Brain. I'm not going to tell you anything more about this. Again, Marco chose this one and I haven't even watched it fully through, so I can't even tell you even if you wanted me to, mate. But let's just do this one. And this one will be the first one where I attempt in the background to put a poll up.
SPECTRAL by The Butcher's Brain
35:46 So, anyone that's unfamiliar with the show uh the format of the show, generally speaking, when we watch creative pieces, you'll have a one, two, or three. So, one is you love this. Two is you think it's okay, and three is it's not for you, basically. So, I'll put up a poll at the end of this piece that we watch that we're all actually going to watch for the first time together and let's see. We will also give you our feedback at the end and then we won't vote, but you guys all should vote. Let's watch it. [music] Color was discontinued in 1902. The reasons are [music] no longer in the files. The pigments were collected. The records were sealed. My job is to find what remains.
36:39 [music] Show it to me. [music] Tuesday, Eastern District. One class 3 pigment violation. Juvenile. [music] 40 a month now. 40. Where am I supposed to find 40? People aren't even trying anymore. They've reclassified beige. What? It's pigment now. [sighs] You take it without. I do. I remembered. How is your wife, Inspector Hail? She died four years ago. Vogle. Oh, I am terribly sorry. You asked last month. Did I?
37:28 We should do a joint inspection sometime. Fresh eyes, you know. I think lunch is over. In 31 years, no one had ever sent me an address. Violations are found. They are not offered. I told myself it was routine. The stairs went down further than [music] they should have. The air changed, cooler, something [music] growing. I had stood at a thousand doors. I waited at this one.
38:16 [music] [music] You are the inspector. Yes, I know. Write [music] it down. Then write down what it's called. You'll need to [music] know for the report. [music] I had spent my life removing color from the world. I never asked why it frightened people to [music] lose it. Then I looked at her and I could not remember the color of her eyes. That was the night it [music] started coming back. Not all at once.
39:03 A thread, a crack of [music] light, the smallest things. You are back. What do you call this one? Saffron. And this carmine. Cobalt. And this [music] magenta. And this blush. And this snow. [music] [music] Heat. Heat. [music]
40:17 What did he write? I still do not know if it was a warning or an invitation. There are some things that I keep, a list of names, and the [music] color of her eyes, which I have decided to remember as green. I may be wrong. [music] There is no one left to ask. Right. So, we got some really fast titles there. Seance 2 Dream uh Storybook Studios. The poll is now live, guys. Vote one, two, or three. What did you think of that particular piece?
41:03 My instant thoughts were I love the use of color. I really liked the overall theme. the sound design was just a little bit lacking with a little bit more polish and certain things, you know, just give this exact thing to a sound design expert to like fill in the foley sounds and a bit tighter of the dialogue and this would be like a 10 out of 10 for me. But it's just nitpicking at that point. You know, the voice over was great, the characters were great, the style choice was great, you know, what's your opinions on on that straight away? Um, I thought it was a really good story. I thought as soon as it went into it and it said about he's trying to find color or he's he's doing this thing about color I was like ah what a good idea and that's what I kind of look for when it comes to these things I was like what's the idea ah that's a good idea and then then it became the story of it and it was really good and what obviously about his wife
41:56 and he couldn't remember the color um and then obviously the what did that person write in the not note I actually think where I'm going to slightly disagree with you is that I actually thought the voices is when he was sitting down at lunch, the voices look weird cuz when they started I thought that sounds the girl's voice it nailed and his voice when it was the nar the when it was narrated it yes that was nailed but when it was the people speaking and you're seeing their lips move like at the table I thought that sounds a bit weird but over yeah my thing was like the music was nice and I don't know whether it was sunno or like you know royalty-free but in between the scenes where the dialogue was happening there just wasn't enough foley sounds, you know, environment sounds that sounded natural.
42:42 And it's because they'd probably leaned on just the sea dance output of the audio, you know, as opposed to trying to add any extra audio layers or doing any. So, like I say, just give this to a sound designer or a sound engineer and he'll add a load of extra sounds and it will look so much better. Also a little bit more of a like um because the color was so important to this one, a little bit more color grading, you know, go even more with it. Like real dark blacks and whites and and the colors really vibrant, you know, in contrast. Um but again, these are just nitpicking and they got straight ones from the audience. So yeah, solid ones. We usually might be a really good one and there'll be a couple of twos in there, but this one solid all the way up. Straight ones. Like I told you, nine out of 10 for me. If there's just little little improvements, 10 out of 10. But this gets it in the one category. I was thinking about this. If you like, you know, the the reason it's a two is if it's a six or below.
43:34 And the reasons it's not for you is if it's a like four or three out of 10, you know, like that's where you should think about this. And always contextually, you know, this is something that's um made as to the story they want. It's not client work as to specifications with an audience and a call to action and all of that other, you know, stuff that's important when it's an advertising piece as opposed to when it's a story about whatever you want, man. You know, that's the glory of AI is Dina's and other people like Miniax just sponsored us to make a piece that I have to load in and Paul's going to kill me. I didn't load this in because we've been so busy this week, but we literally had a piece for the World Cup that we made for Miniax sponsored I didn't even load in. And uh yeah, it was a really fun piece to make. But now AI companies are sponsoring these ideas.
AI companies are now sponsoring creative ideas
44:21 You know, we we brought the idea to them. We said, "Look, this involves no IP. We can make it really quick." It was 48 hours until the literal opening ceremony. And so we only had 48 hours to make it. And we didn't get to involve all the flags that we wanted. But the basic premise was Paul had this idea and I think because you know he lives down in Dover in Exit. He goes and does photography of the White Cliffs of Dover a lot, right? And he just thought what if a St. George's flag was like perfectly there, you know, like a red like you know just Yeah. Because we saw all these like viral sendoffs, didn't we, from the teams about like did you see the Norwegian one where they're all Vikings and like you know all of this. So the England one could have been like the white cursor over with the big St. George's cross and we thought wait why don't we just make all the environments of all of the nations competing and then find various things
45:13 and then Mexico has like an eagle in the middle you know and it has like green and red and we were like how do how do we make environments that work with green and red and an eagle in the middle and that's where it all started really and then we were like okay well we have to do the host nations so it's Mexico, USA, Canada and then we're going to zoom around the rest of the nations that we have time for, which was Scotland, England, Spain, and a few others. And uh that's how we built the piece. But yeah, 48 hours to turn it around, man. Can we see it? Yes. I'll load something else up first, though, cuz I need to go and download it. We The last one. What was that one called again? That what was that one? The one with the color. Uh um let me find out. The butcher's brain.
45:59 The butcher's brain. Yes. And I'll get, like I said, sign up to Luma and you'll get all of the links to find out the rest of that like as to where it is. Let me kill this poll. Yeah. Anyone new guys, I'm literally doing Paul's job right now. Like uh you know, he's usually a producer in the background running these polls and stuff and I'm trying to like host and moderate and do all this. It's he's a lot right now. But we haven't heard from Dave Clark in a while. And uh whilst I load up our World Cup piece, let me show you Dave Clark's new piece. The booag will get you. Well, I'll be. These things are everywhere.
Dave Clark's The Boo Hag Will Get You
46:50 [music] Boy, you better not still be watching those stupid cartoons. And if this room ain't clean before I get back, the Boohag might show up and get you. The Boohag ain't real. Boy, don't play with me. You're going to wish the Boohag wasn't real. The Boohag will get you. The Boohag will get you. You better be right. The Boohag will get you. The Boohag will get you. You better be right. The Boohag isn't real. [laughter] The Boohag will get you. The Boohag will get you. You better be right, cuz the Boohag will get you.
47:48 [music] Snake little guy. Snake little guy will get you. The better hag will get you. Cuz the boohag will get you. [music] The blue hag will get
48:33 you. The blue hag will get you. You better be right. Cuz the blue hag will get you. You better be right. The blue hag will get you. Hag will get you. Mate, I'm so glad that we watched this piece right after that last piece because that's exactly the sort of in between sounds I was talking about. You know, the in between creepy noises where it's like you're not taken out of the immersion because the sound design carries you through. You know, literally the audio is the thing that connects the visuals together scene-wise. So it's like it's so especially with creepy stuff and I'm not even the biggest fan of that, you know, like as a genre. I don't personally watch horror and stuff like that. Dave does so many genres though, doesn't he?
49:22 We've seen action, we've seen romance, we've seen love stories, we've seen everything, you know, he's so prolific. What I've seen a lot though is um I bet Yeah, he made it for his son too. Oh my god, for sure. You know, this is another thing about Dave. He literally just makes stuff for his son. It's like, "Dad, can you tell us a story?" Yeah. One second. Give me give me give me a couple of hours and then make a whole video. [laughter] I've noticed a lot of horror horror stuff um that's coming out. Like we've gone through a obviously the the cartoon stage and there's obviously a lot of animation as well. Yeah. Now there seems to be a lot of horror or a lot of well, you know, um what's that film? Is it uh what was it? Cloverfield and films like that.
Why is there so much AI horror right now?
50:11 You got those really huge creatures like the one that we showed for the Wonder Studio. So, there's a lot of those type of films that's coming out at the moment. Yeah. Yeah. Well, there's an audience for it. You know, it's a niche like sports mate or like driving or whatever. You know, there's a hardcore audience where if you get a subscriber there in the horror thing, they'll come back in again. Lots of our AI community WhatsApp group people are in that genre. you know, they do like gory stuff and it's not for me, but I appreciate the art. You know, I'm like, "Oh, wow. You're really pushing the boundaries of the art." And even though it's not like my thing that I consume in my algorithm, but it's like something that when I send it, I open it. I'm like, "Wow, they're really pushing the boundaries in this genre, you know. It's really really cool to see." Anyway, I've got our piece loaded up. Um hopefully this is the 4K version.
Our World Cup nations piece for MiniMax
50:58 It's very short. It's literally only 40 seconds, so let's go. And I say, "Hey, [music] I say [music]
51:43 there. It was mate. You saw in the England bit for about one second on the stage. You know, we had like a twominut slower version, but we realized the speed ramping really brings something to the dynamicness. And you know thinking like a hawk. You start with like a hawk and it's like flying like a hawk really fast like or like a drone shot you know like uh but yeah that was that was the idea we had all these environments like Argentina you can see the flag you know when it's revealed and you're sort of zooming up into the point where you see the flag revealed. I think that's I think what makes it work is the fact that you're looking like all right that's Canada that's art that like you're kind of thinking where what country is coming next. I like the bit when you went from Scotland to England because you it was they're obviously right
52:28 obviously Scotland's the top of England so you could zoom down to it and stuff like that. So yeah, I like I like that. I like that. Is so where is that going to go? Um that was already published and it was sponsored by Miniax. We used their hub. I'm asking Jimmy's asking the question here. Miniax's hub is like a desktop download interface but they have everything there. You know sea dance cling they've got all the models to use. It's not just restricted to Miniax's video models. So yeah, we released some screenshots. If you go to Miniax on X, you'll see some of the screenshots of the workflows because they posted this from their official account and a bit of the workflow. Although we may do a BTS video if it's popular enough, you know, that's the idea, you know, with all of these things is put a piece out there. If people really like it, we can explain a bit more of the workflow and stuff like that. We're not going to give it all away obviously because we have stuff that we do that we don't want everyone knowing, but like
53:21 at least like an overview of how to do this type of thing, you know. Uh but yeah, it was really really fun to make this. I made the music by the way. And uh a quick aside, right? A guy I speak to who is very very cool from Elely, the place that I'm from, him and his business partner, um his name is Aaron, right? him and his business partner were actually involved in this official World Cup song with David Greta. Oh, really? Wow. 1.5 billion impressions worldwide because as you know the World Cup is the biggest tournament ever organized by human beings. You know, people think the Super Bowl's big, but bro, 1.5 billion people tuned into the opening ceremonies of the big, you know, so World Cup is on another level.
54:07 And that song that he, you know, congrats for being the FE the official FIFA song in this opening ceremonies. I remixed it into drum and bass and that's what the underlying current of this thing is. Uh, but worth going to listen to the original song. What does he What did he do? What did he help produce the song or did he Yes, his co-founder was actually one of the people with David producing the song. He's he showed me uh like uh I'll show you in WhatsApp, right? He has this amazing like, you know, uh, collection of records in this like, you know, hits that he's been involved with and his co-founders been involved with. He's very prolific and very big in the industry, but I've only known him in the AI space, which is, and you know, the craziest fact I learned, he's from my
54:55 city, bro. He's from Elely. I've never met anyone even in digital marketing that was in. And I'm like, how? It's it's literally like 10,000 people maximum. You know, what are the chances that we're both working at like in the AI space at this top level and it's crazy from the same city. It's really bizarre. Anyway, yeah, that was it. We got to move on because we got so much to showcase this week because Marco's been a legend and actually filled us in with all this stuff. I'm having the same raw reaction as you, mate. I've not watched this stuff. Actually a bit terrified, you know, that I'm showing stuff that I've got no idea of how its quality is. But Marco is, you know, his whole algorithm is tuned to this. It's literally like um
55:42 Yeah, he's the best. He's the best. You're welcome, bro. Thank you, bro. You said no Paul this week. You've literally been doing Paul's role. Yeah. Oh my god. Oh, actually, another suggestion that you sent. You sent a couple of suggestions this week, mate, didn't you? You sent me three links. Yeah. Dave one, the one that we just watched the um the scenes. And what was the third one? The third one was was it Z Khan? Yes. Yes. Okay, great. Building a uh like a like a world. Yes. First original sci-fi IP, right? Let's uh So, this is uh Andrew's suggestion for this week. Let's check it out.
Prince of Chaos: building a sci-fi world with Dreamina
57:18 Careful. You arrive before your thoughts do. Does it hurt? No. What does it feel like? Like the world remembering you. Now it knows you. It's warm. It will always remember you. It stopped because you tried to take from it. But I need the energy. Need is not the same as force. [laughter] It doesn't like me. Because you arrived like a storm.
58:08 Can the plants choose anyone? No. Why not? Because it is alive. Do the stars choose too? Especially the stars. Too long. Children, stand up. What is that? Don't look at it. Stay together. Move. I can't see. Keep moving. [music] I've got here. Come on. Move. [music]
59:02 [music] I'm building an entire planet in a farway galaxy for my next film project. A world untouched by greed. A civilization living in harmony with nature itself. Peaceful, advanced, serene. Its people do not consume the planet. They coexist with it.
59:48 But every civilization eventually faces something that challenges its very existence. And for this world, that moment has arrived. To build this planet, I'm using Dreamina Octo Bible of its civilization. Let me show you the process behind it. The first thing is having a story. What is the message behind your world? For me, the core theme of this story is free will. So, I built the entire civilization around that idea. Using Dreamina Octo, you can work together with the AI agent to develop ideas, refine the lore, and help shape the world building. You can also build scenes from rough sketches and references.
1:00:35 And if you already have visual assets from your project, you can bring them directly into the workflow. What I like about the AI agent is that it doesn't just generate images. It also helps solve creative problems throughout the film making process. What's exciting is that you can potentially build an entire cinematic project inside one creative ecosystem. And this is only the beginning. Even though the film contains large-scale sci-fi action and spectacle, at its core, this is still a very emotional story. And I can't wait to show you more from Prince of Chaos. [music] [music]
1:01:23 [music] [music] My god, mate. That was everything. It was a It was a thing, then it was a BTS, then it was a workflow all bootstrapped into one five minutee video. That was a lot. Yeah. I thought what I liked about that was um one that they're building the world. So the way the way now so imagine in six months time if we saw another video we'll be like okay I remember seeing this one before it's quite unique the way um they created the individuals they like you could tell this person was white this person was black and then they probably put a blue face like a bluish face over them because of the features
1:02:09 so you could tell that they're building up the world which I thought was pretty cool and then obviously the behind the scenes and what they're doing so I kind of like the way that really caught my eye that one did votes are coming in Uh, if you are just listening, um, vote now. One, two, or three, on what you thought about that piece. One, I loved it. Two, it was okay. Three, not for me. Uh, oh my god. Again, like I say, I'm just trying to get my mind around all of it. Three things mashed into one video. I'm going to judge the first bit as I loved it. You know, the world they built. Uh, I think the BTS and and everything should have been a separate video, truthfully. You know, like just leave this creative piece. It was so good. The world they built, you know, the bit that was really distracting. I was like, "Mate, I got to remix these cellos." You know, when the cellos come come in, it's like
Should a BTS be bolted onto the film?
1:02:57 really low like strings and it builds all the tension. I'm like, "I've got to make a trap beat out of those trellos straight away. This is crazy." Uh, but yeah, like that's I was just like, "Whoa, that was really intense and impactful, those musical elements that they added." So, they were my thoughts on it. I would definitely give this one a one if it was a creative piece on its own. It still gets the one even though it's bootstrapped in with the other bits. But uh yes, post it as a separate video, I think, you know, the BTS and the workflow stuff because it's great and it was even a creative way to showcase this, you know, but it just shouldn't be bolted on to the original thing which was so good, you know, like it's really it was a really good world. I know English accents as well. lot English accents is used quite a lot of what thank god mate because originally remember the early days it was impossible
1:03:46 to get anything but like a queen speak you know like mate we getting straight ones what's going on right last votes for anyone tuning in from LinkedIn Marco you're getting straight ones for these suggestions you're getting straight ones for your suggestions maybe you guys just uh suggest all the future content [laughter] zero AI students said, "I would have used different music." Yeah, but the work is definitely a one. Exactly what Chris said. And Mary, yeah, poor Andrew so tired. Am Do I look tired? Oh, no. I'm trying I'm trying not to look too tired. Uh, but it's been a I I I flew into the UK late last night. I was training all day today. Jumped on this tomorrow. I'm training all day, flying back on a flight uh tomorrow, Wednesday night. So, I'm missing the England game. And then I'm training all day tomorrow.
1:04:36 All day, sorry, all day Thursday. and a big session on Thursday evening as well. So yeah, got a lot on at the moment. So I'm trying not to be I'm trying not to come across as tired, but I am. Let it be known in the last episode we discovered that it was his own fault that he's missing the England game because of the flights booking. And it was not other people's fault. It was his own fault. The World Cup to my diary. So when I'm booking flights and or travel, I'm looking at I'm like, I can go then. And then I've realized I'm missing the England game and there's nothing I can do about it cuz England starts at 8:00 and my flight leaves at 8:00 and it's a two and a half hour flight. So it's literally the game. So can you buy Wi-Fi on board? I wouldn't even I wouldn't even um No, probably not. It's like Ryan Air. It's just cheap flight. Oh no. Yeah, I wouldn't because it would be so expensive just to watch the game.
1:05:27 I want to watch the game but I'm not going to, you know, I'm not going to spend 80 quid for it. Are not worth it. Well, I won't be sending you spoilers, but yeah. Come on, England. No, no, please do it. Yeah, please do. Let us know. Oh, you want spoilers? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So, when I land because I still I'm not going to go home and watch the highlights because it'd be too late. So, I just want to know one anyway. So, please drop me a message. Well, they I tried to buy Wi-Fi on the San Francisco flight, right? And it doesn't work really. It only lets you receive WhatsApp text and stuff and like small pictures, but you can't really watch like buffering video and stuff. So, um, yeah, I could definitely give you in the text so you'll get it in the sky, you know, when we score and stuff. Come on, England. Yeah. Damian said, "Where is the Stonewall background?" I'm at my mom's house at the moment.
1:06:14 So, you just got a basic green background here. [laughter] Yeah. And again, anyone that didn't tune in last week, we got a pan to the right where it's his gym. We got a stone wall behind him. And yeah, it's looking good, man. It's looking good. Week to week progressions. I'll be back there. I'll be back there. We're not here next week. So, there's no there's no show next week, but the week after that's the next show. Yeah. My my chance to do a show next week was going to be a special guest one. And then like Paul is away again and I'm away in Lisbon from Tuesday. So, it was going to be on the Monday, but then it's just no time to prep from, you know, the weekend to get the show ready for Monday. So, yeah, we're just going to skip a week, guys. Sorry about that. And we'll be back again
Dropping into JSFILMZ's Aida's Shadows
1:06:59 following Tuesday. [gasps] Yeah. What else have we got to watch again? Marco's loaded me up now. He's a proper filmmaker though, man. You know, so the things that he's showing me are like 30 minutes. So, we're going to watch like five minute clips again and I'm going to drop us into some more worlds here because it turns out that when you make a 30-minute piece, the first five minutes not that like impactful or exciting. It's more introducing the world that you're going to go long form storytell about, you know? So, um, he he told me to start this one at precisely 13 minutes and 3 seconds in. So, that's where we're going to literally drop into this world. Again, Marco, you're the freaking best for doing this, man. And we really appreciate you. So, we're going to drop into this world exactly where he told us to.
1:07:45 And, uh, let's let's check it out. Right. I'll go check it out. Heat. Heat.
1:09:11 Hold it. Stay right there. Detective, what took you so long? Hands where I can see them. Put them above your head. You really don't know who I am, do you? What are you talking about? We went to the academy together. Top of the class, even. Are you out of your [ __ ] mind? Well, if you don't remember me, then you must not remember her. You're under arrest for the murder of six innocent people. Janie. Detective, you must remember Janie.
1:10:01 My Janie. Chloe, see the funny thing about that night, Peter, is she was supposed to be with me. You couldn't stand the fact she chose me over you. I didn't kill her. You've seen all the files. I guess her death was just a sacrifice for the greater good. I've made a couple of sacrifices, too. Six to be exact. And tonight, I made that seven. Tell me, detective, how is your daughter Ada doing?
1:10:52 She must be in middle school by now, right? What? What did you do? No, [music] detective. The real question is what are you going to do? [screaming]
1:11:38 [music] Right, this feels like a good place to pause and bring us back in. I unmuted us this time, although there's some guy chopping wood in the background, so if you hear that in my mic, it's annoying. But yes, um if you don't know, that is him starring in his own films. Uh John saying that he met JS Films last year in uh Unreal Fest in Chicago and that he's not sure if he'll turn up this year, but hopefully he's going so that you see him again. Cool, huh? Another suggestion from Marco saying that this is him his uh I don't think we've ever showcased him on the the live show before. So, there's the first piece and as you can see from the timeline, a lot more of the world that we haven't shown you here.
1:12:23 Um, initially I liked the comment that someone said about there's a lot of long form shots here, which is not typical, you know, for this genre of stuff. Like, it's quite a nice tasteful thing that he's using long form shots here. Um, let me see if I can restart this poll and we'll now go up. One, two, or three. We dropped you into a world there, guys. Again like don't judge it for the sort of like backstory that I haven't introduced you to and everything else like this but just what do you think overall stylistically of this uh vote one two or three one being you love it two it was okay three not for you so what are your thoughts mate thought it was really good I thought it was the scenes from the back when he was walking with that long trench coat reminded me more of
1:13:11 the TV show the boys one of the main characters in the boys wears this long trench coat Marco knows much about The Boys. There's a lot of people that have recommended The Boys to Bruce first as well. The Boys, other people. The Boys. The Boys. What is this show, man? What am I missing? It's like it's um it's actually very good. It didn't end good though. I'm hearing like it had a Game of Thrones disappointing. Yeah, it's um it's it's like a superheroes. It's basically superheroes and there's like a group of them and I don't want to spoil it, but it's basically superheroes. Um, with it's rated 18. Realistic realistic superheroes are rated. I get the vibe. Uh, but no, they're not realistic what they can do, but it's rated 18, so you kind of get what type of superheroes or what they're prepared to do when it comes to killing and Yeah.
1:13:59 Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It gets a bit Yeah, it gets a bit Put it this way. I I was originally watching it on on the on flights, but then I stopped watching it on flights because I didn't want people seeing my screen. So, uh, I stopped that. But anyway, he was um he reminded me of the boy, what the guy from the boy. Then he went into the bathroom. It reminded me of the Matrix. Um I really like that bathroom scene as well. Uh I I really liked it. I thought that it did look a bit AIish. And what I mean by that, six months ago, we would have been like, "Wow, that looks super real." Now I was looking at it thinking it's still it's got that AIish look at it where some some of them I'm watching and I'm just like you couldn't even tell. But overall, for me, I would put that between a one and a two. Probably a I had to say between the two, I'll probably just give it a one. But if it was out of 10, I would give it an eight.
Does AI video still look AI-ish?
1:14:50 Seven. Interesting. And I just dropped you into that world. Right. So again, go and watch the full thing. The context behind it. Exactly. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I was like, okay, well, who I feel guilty dropping into a 30 minute episode, you know, like 18 minutes. I want to I want to go back and watch these. So yeah, so I was it was more like who's his daughter? Why is he saying why is she saying about a daughter? What was the police academy or Yeah. So it was uh Yeah, a lot of ones this week though, eh, it's crazy like these pieces and these new faces. Like I want to get these people on the show and we've got some of the people that we found and been legends of the show like Dave and you know hopefully we've got Cavan the Kid coming on the show, others that are going to be coming on the show. Fostradamus
1:15:36 told me he's going to be on the show. Like we got some really cool special guests lined up for you guys, but I love the new people, you know, like seeing someone stuff that we've never seen that's getting straight ones. You're like, "How do I get you on the show?" Uh, and when do we make an episode for you? If you're doing a global tour like Foster Diamond is literally right now on a global tour, you know? So, uh, yeah, it's like whenever you could be in any sort of recording booth. Yeah. anything for an hour of your time, bro. I'll do whatever you want. [gasps] Right. What else have we got? Um, okay. This one I really like uh the look of stylistically. Again, I've got no idea what we're about to watch. And it is quite a long piece. So, it may be that I pause at a certain section and then we even have a vote on whether we want to continue watching the next five minutes.
An Artist, a short about creatives sent to Mars
1:16:26 What do you think about that? like um if we're 5 minutes into something and we pause, come back on stage, give a bit of a review of that section and then vote on whether we should keep watching it and stuff. Again, I don't want to insult anyone. We only have a 2-hour live show and the pieces being submitted, man. They're 30 minutes. Everyone's making like crazy long stuff. Well, free episodes and talks, that's it. Or free Yeah. Free clips and talking. Exactly. It's wild. And we want to share a plethora of stuff. So, yeah. I'm not even um So, this one is called An Artist. That's all of the name of the short film. Me and Marco were scratching our heads like what's this one called? I think they just called it in the caption an artist. So, again, I'm not going to give it any other introductions. Let's check it out.
1:17:55 Groups use simple tools and share nearly 99% of their DNA with humans. Their diet includes fruit, leaves, insects, eggs. Organized daily feeding. All younger gymnas are facing. Hey, Picasso. Any chance I get my paper before I move to Mars? I've got a job meeting today. I'll have the money. A meeting? That won't feed me. One more week. There's a list, sweetheart. And you ain't the prettiest name on it.
1:18:44 Please do not move during the creation process. Boss, you can't go down there seeing things as they are. Leave me alone. I don't need your slop. There. Premium world. Budget price. Hey, you can't do that, [ __ ] I make my living with this junk. Hey, I'm talking to you. Pay for what you broke. [music] will be selected for consideration in the next outbound Mars settlement expedition.
1:19:35 Selected candidates are reminded that random selection does not guarantee departure, survival, employment, housing, or Oops, sorry. It's tight in here. So, where are you headed? That's my business. Oh, yes, of course. I was trying to be friendly. Duty calls. Approved. Farm candidates receive clean air allocation, family centered agricultural housing and meaningful participation in harvest.
1:20:21 Why the exhaust of yesterday? Please take a ticket and have a seat in the waiting area. Infinite counselor about the red soil. Since then, over 100,000 people have made the journey to Mars, seeking a better life and a new begin. Next, next. Next. Right. Seeing as though we're literally listening to elevator music at this part, I thought it was a good place to stop. Right. Uh so start a new poll. Should we continue?
Should we keep watching? The chat decides
1:21:07 Yes or no? Let's see if we can uh get this poll to show up. No, it doesn't want to show. Okay, [laughter] never mind. Just uh let us know in the comments. Do you think that we should continue with this? I'm really liking this stylistically. Uh, we've got about halfway through the overall video. We can continue on to other things if people would like to, but if you're liking the overall style and, you know, story and you're bought in, let us know and we will continue on with this one. What's your thoughts about this one so far, mate? Yeah, I feel immediately the style got me. I was like, okay, I like the way this these styles. Um, I I when I do presentations, I have a style fairly similar to this as well.
1:21:53 Oh, really? Yeah, it kind of got me on that style and I've used stylization to help me um keep it consistent. But um it was uh what um that guy said, cool style, hard story to follow. I was Oh, yeah, that's Eric. I was Eric. Okay. So, I was kind of losing the story a bit. Yeah, right. Well, hopefully they bring it back in the second half. That's what I'm hoping is that, you know, that has some character development and some sort of arc. But yeah, I like the uh you know the robot character that just entered into the elevator. This like you know this first person view of him really up close and his voice and I'm sort of bought in from that side you know like so yeah seeing that the majority of people saying yes let's continue on. So let's shut up get us off the stage and uh carry on.
1:22:44 Next. Next. What brings you here today? Where's Marlene? The woman who [music] worked here. She no longer works here. Please answer the question. What brings you here today? I'm looking for work. What are your skills? What can you do? I'm I was a tattoo artist. I can draw. I write, too. I could teach art. I know that. And I used to play drums in a band. We no longer need any of that. You know that, don't you?
1:23:30 Art, poetry, [music] and music are now fully automated for optimal productivity. However, good news. We have a special reinteration program for artists and other creative profiles. A special shuttle leads from Mar. Musicians, painters, poets, and writers are being set to form a peaceful community of joyful fellows. I'm not interested. I don't want to leave. I just want to make a living here. [music] That's all I'm asking. This opportunity will not present itself twice. The shuttle leaves tomorrow at dawn. Do not think too much. There you may sing with the muses. Next.
1:24:28 So, Mozart, productive day. Am I finally going to see the color of the money you owe me? There's no work left for people like me. Then you better find yourself a shelter because I'm done doing charity. I've got a one-way ticket to Mars. First priority, apparently. You can have it. It clears the debt and I stay here. Mars, don't screw with me for real. And it leaves tomorrow. How did you get your hands on this thing?
1:25:18 Yeah, you can stay. You can move into my place if you want. Wait, this ain't fake, is it? No, it's real. And you don't want it. No takebacks. [music] [music]
1:26:17 [music] to the Mars Embarcation Station. Welcome aboard, valued colonist. Congratulations on the beginning of your new life. Please fasten your seat belts and keep your arms and legs [music] inside the cabin at all times during the flight. Engines ready. Launch countdown. 3 2 1 liftoff. Batch 472 processed. [music]
1:27:02 [music] the use of music right now, bro. What is going on? Oh my god. Vote one, two, or three, what did you think? Overall, we managed to reinstate the polls. Let me get rid of the actual things so that Andrew and I can be seen. Oh my god. Genius. Yet I I was literally thinking to myself when he was they were all jumping in the thing, I was like this I wonder if cuz it's like everyone's going to Mars. I started thinking it reminded it's like they're going to their death. Yes. And then when they jumped and they straight into the lava volcano. Ah yeah. Yeah. And and it was like depressing like little things like oh you work in the creative industry. Oh there's no jobs for you left. It was like depressing like that, but it was genius as well.
An Artist's dark ending
1:27:51 Very dark. But then there was even little things that I noticed. As you know, I I noticed those little things where it's like they got up, he got up to speak to that cashier person and then he went to move his chair and it was too close to them, so he moved it back. Like little things like that I noticed because I think how did that person think to do that in the prompt or did it just naturally do that? So yeah, that was really What do you think? What do you think, [gasps] mate? We're getting straight ones again. And the voting is crazy. Like that. What's impressive, right, is that all these stories, all these worlds are so different from one another. And that couldn't have been a different wrench that we threw in, you know, like it was, it reminded me a bit of Neural Visa's world, you know, that he built with his robots.
1:28:40 And um again, I'm just seeing like it's just fascinating, you know? There's so much like stuff being built right now where it's like, wo, that's truly watchable. Everyone wants to continue this. This is we're brought in. It had a twist. It had an arc. It had the character development. It had everything you want to finish that piece. Like, yeah, they go straight into the lava. Cut to black. You know, it's almost like Sopranos is like, you know, uh it's Yeah. like a Simon Mayer twist or whatever in the advertising space as we say you're trying to pull but you know in that in that context you're pulling off in like a minute whereas there you know you're trying to do it over a long story arc and but yeah this I just I made a note of this we no longer need any of that when they're talking about poetry music art film all of it you know it's lally just summed up in robot land as we no longer need any of that [laughter] yeah
1:29:33 we we you don't need that we can do that you And that's that's that's what I was saying. It's it's depressing. It's dark, but it's genius as well. Yes. Exactly. And then the music was really good as well. Like I really like the music. It was like the fair groundy type, you know, like amusement type, you know, cuz have you ever seen those viral YouTube videos where they take the most intense movie scenes of all time and just change the music and it looks like a completely different thing. It's hilarious. Reverse as well. They'll take like really like happy like bit like put dark music to it. Dark music like there's a TV show I don't know if you remember the TV show Different Strokes. Yeah. So some of you in the in the chat might remember Different Strokes with uh Mr. Drummond and Arnold and Willis and um like it's really happy if you watch the beginning bit it's really happy like the way like the song at the beginning um to the song
1:30:27 to the song different strokes but then they took that out and then they put in music from the shining or they put that the shining and all of a sudden it looks really creepy really creepy it's really good the way they done it this was really early internet stuff it was one of the first things I saw on on the internet and it was just reminding me like you can take something really dark But put some cartoon music and you kind of you still get that dark tone but it's kind of done in a a lot of truth is said in jest type. Well, I know I'm biased cuz you know I come from an audio background but I have arguments with film guys because you know my argument's always been that sound is 60% of what you're experiencing and 40% is the visuals. More because it's deeper, you know, in our subconscious than visual language. And the way that we process information and digest this into conscious thought is
Is sound 60% of what you experience?
1:31:18 very much like in our consciousness versus music is unconscious. It's almost like it's um like I say, the only uh I watched a a YouTube documentary about cultures discovered around the world and many of them were discovered without language, but none were ever discovered without music ever. It's uh it's deeper than language, you know, it's deeper than visuals. It's deeper than so that's my argument as an audio person is that like yeah really so much of what you're experiencing in this is the sound and the visuals back up the sound and not the other way around. You know, the visual guys say, "Oh, no, the sound backs up the visuals." And I'm like, "No, but if you change the music from sinister to not light-hearted straight away, you'll show that the visuals are a lot less important than the overall tone of the music can make it sound so like you put the Jaws
1:32:09 music over My Little Pony and watching, you know, just any of that. It's like no way that the visuals matter." It's a great point. It's like it's, you know, it's Yeah. Right. Anyway, we watched a load of Adidas and Nike stuff last week, didn't we, with the kickoff and it was crazy, wasn't it? Those ads of last week were so epic. Those long form story brand ads and in the like in the space of like where we're about to be, right? Because we've talked to many people that are talking about making long- form brand ads with AI now, you know, and even in the last one, Beckham's deaging and other things like this, there's definitely AI being used as virtual effects, CGI, all of this other stuff. Now, this next piece I'm about to showcase
The non-AI ad that AI cinematography should aim for
1:32:58 is not AI, but I've bookmarked it because of the cinematography and what we should be like aiming for in this level of AI for epic cinematography, right? There's a lot of films going on about like obsession, backrooms. All of these things are about like, you know, small budgets but epic cinematography, epic storytelling coming from YouTubers making hundreds of millions of dollars and only made with a few million dollars. And this is where we're at in the AI space right now. And Marco sent me this piece over about cinematography. Like I said, this is not AI. So, we're not even going to have a poll for this because it's not actually something to vote on. This is just a piece where the cinematography looks so crazy and this is sort of camera movements and stuff I want to see in the next gen of AI.
1:33:46 So, let's check it out. [music] It's just a board. A stupid, pathetic, useless board. But a board can be anything. [music] It can divide us, unite us, put you [music] away, help you escape, put food in, take food out, or warm you up. A [music] board can be anything. Board can be anything.
1:34:32 Can be anything. Somewhere to sit. A tool of precision. Chew on me. Why not? Walk on me. Strum [music] me. Split me in two. Or keep me whole. [music] It's just a wooden board, isn't it? Isn't that the most like cinematic like ad you've seen in ages?
1:35:18 I love it. Apart from the last That was an ad. That was an ad. [laughter] But that was really good. You know what? I looking at that um this is exactly what Guy says when he says, "Aren't you tricking us? This is AI, isn't it?" In if you would have said that was AI, you didn't say it wasn't AI. I would have think I would have thought it was AI, but that's I'm sure we've seen something similar to this. Not the wood, but it was something else. This thing can do me multiple things. What was it? It wasn't I can't remember. I'm sure it was about on the show previously. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And I think it was part of a competition where Yeah, likely competition where it was like you could only you could use one of these three things and I'm sure Yeah, we we did a bookmark piece, remember?
1:36:03 And then there were other like items that Runway made you choose. And one of them was like a coconut crisp, coconut crunch, and another one was uh I forget what the items were. So many things happened, but yeah, you're right. There was a thing where like the premise would be how much can you get out of this one item that you need to include as part of the competition requirements, you know? So yeah, I know what you're referring to, but yeah. Cool, huh? Like not AI. Could have been AI. You know, the funny thing about you guys are saying there's going to be an AI. My mates from back home in Neely sent me these screenshots of what they think are like World Cup crowd people and they're like, "Oh my god, look how good-looking this person is." I'm like, "It's AI." You don't know it because you're past the point of recognizing this is AI now, but I know straight away that exact post.
1:36:50 I've seen it is AI. It's a trend that's going on in X right now, you know, to generate crowd members in certain kits and stuff like this. And um so yeah, it's funny that they now are in the point where they don't even recognize it. You know, they've gone past the photo. Lots of people are just like past the point of this and it's wild. It's wild. Marco, whose film we're going to, you know, watch in the future, stars in his own film and it's the best integration of anyone I've ever seen in his own film today. And one that we watched before, remember there was the guy that was going to the some festival. He done a good one. Oh yes. Yes, I remember that one as well. Yeah, looking forward to seeing Marco's one. Oh, mate, it's going to be insane. The next one I'm going to do, and Marco told me to open the show with this, but I thought that this would be a nice little
TechHalla's 14-prompt Seedance music video
1:37:41 like interjection because I knew we had a lot of horror and stuff coming up. You know, it was going to get dark in periods and get really serious in tone. This one couldn't be less serious. And it's from uh a good buddy of mine that I've met recently, Tech Hala. Remember Tech Allen, we were talking about him inventing the chase prompt. So, he made this piece uh with only 14 different prompts and it's doing this like rapid edit thing, you know? So, like it's like specifically trying to push Sea Dance to the max in how many cut frames and edits it's got. And so, it's going to be like a lot visually right now because, you know, the whole purpose and premise of this is to be as incredibly intense and insane as possible. It's so much fun though. to let me shut up and get it on the stage.
1:38:29 [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] Breaking the chase.
1:39:15 Burn the grid. [music] No city stand. We take the land. Aes [music] call. We hear the sound. No mad rise. Primitive ground. Break it all down. [music] Burn every power. No technology. Only power. No matter we are. WHAT WE BECOME. [music] SURVIVE THE WORLD. The earth. [music] [music] [music]
1:40:01 [music] Turn down the walls. Forget the past. The [music] future's dead. We make it last in forest deep deserts [music] white. No machines left. Primal night. [music] [music] We break free. [music] NO MY BLOOD.
1:40:49 BREAK the cage. [music] No cities left. No gentle blind. Return to orange. [music] Surviving. [music] [music] [music] We'll show it all, guys. We will show it all. This episode couldn't have been more diverse if it tried in terms of what we watched. What a like segue though, huh? between like the like horror and stuff and the dark vibes and then that
1:41:39 he create his own music video. Great. Why not, mate? Star in your own music video. 14 trumps. Yeah. So, basically, like I said, he's like making it so that it's rapid, you know, like rapid like editing within sea dance, like 15-second clips. He's choosing the best clips and then stitching these together. But that's why it looks so like cut frame, cut frame, cut frame because he's trying to push it to the max. You know, the thing that Sea Dance introduced that people forgot is that like before this we were just generating one scene. And Sea Dance introduced the idea of no, we can do cut frames within this scene. Shoot to another shot of this within this same prompt, you know? So that's what it does exceptionally well. And he's pushing it to the literal
1:42:25 boundaries of what it can do with cut frames, cut scenes, you know. Wow. Anyway, let's start a poll for that. What did you think? Love it. It was okay. Not for me. It's death metal with bongos, man. It was a fun piece of him showcasing, you know, how he can put himself in a music video. But yeah, I I don't even really think it was a It was more of an interjection thing, you know? It was just so fun to me. I was literally just going, you know, is exactly made for me. So, I'd be slamming that one right now. If you're voting, vote one, two, or three. And again, it's like a segue piece, you know? I thought of it like we could open the show with that, but then the tone of this whole show is like bit more dark and sinister, so it needs to be somewhere slammed in between the airy stuff.
1:43:12 Oh man, that was a good That was a good one. I like Did he make this song as well? Do you know? Yes, I'm pretty sure he's a big musician. He actually plays bass and samples his own bass into stuff. Yeah. Yeah. Actually, a cool little segue is when he was at Upscale, he was wearing a hat of the logo I recognized. I was like, "Isn't that the logo from this like massive Spanish drummer, you know, the one with a big beard that does all these crazy tapping and like one-handed." He's like, "Yeah, yeah, I'm friends with this guy." And I'm like, "What the hell?" This guy's like, you know, the biggest thing on my Tik Tok and Instagram and YouTube feed doing drum things. Like he can like hold a stick in his mouth and like do like, you know, porn, you know? It's crazy. with one hand. He's like he's a freak of nature. Anyway,
1:43:59 yeah, he's really into like drumming and bassing and you know, cool guy, man. Cool guy. Met a lot of Fostradamus. Like I said, he's on a global tour. His thing, right, was he did a talk about in between the genres of music. Yeah. Yeah, I remember that. Someone said earlier too that this is like a manga meets live action thing. It was think it was Jimmy, you know, it's like a weird mix between these worlds. And I want to see more of that, you know, in the music space and in the visual space. I want to see a little more blending of different good worlds and making something original and new and yeah, pulling it off with continuity over long form. This would be great, you know, like filling in the voids like basically think of it like but yeah, straight ones again, guys. What the actual hell? I don't think we've had an episode where
1:44:47 every single one has pretty much got straight ones. I think we had one two earlier or maybe two twos on one piece. This is crazy. And considering it was all last minute, Marco, Andrew, and me, we pulled it. We pulled it through, guys. Paul Paul would be proud right now. He's just on Tech Color's X account, and he said he made the whole thing, which the whole threeminut thing with AI for under $80. Awesome. So that's how much he paid to to do that. Under $80. Star in your own music video. Make your own beat. Legendary. Put it all together. Release the workflow. This is Tecala. You know, this is he he does everything in public. Like, you know, Ex's thing is to build in public. So, like everything he builds as a piece, he'll then show Exactly.
How do you make a music video for under $80?
1:45:33 And this is why he's grown so much is he's willing to show all of his techniques and workflows. Marco's very appreciative of this as well. You know, when people do and as you said earlier and how we showed the behind the scenes and yeah, more and more people are actually showing exactly how things are made so we can just get more better stuff out there. That's the truth of why it's good, you know. And he said it's 311 cuts. God, 311 cuts. We basically just had a seizure within four minutes and all voted a one on it. Isn't that awesome? Like he's so fun, man. Like cool people. He's going to be again hopefully when he gets time, you know, on the show. All these guys that you slamming the one on, guys, don't worry. We have like ways to get them on the show.
1:46:19 We're going to bring you to new audiences and stuff. Yeah. Last week he was here. He's actually he was in the chat last week. Yeah, he was. He was literally in the chat. Yeah. People just drop in and out. It's awesome. Dan has gone [clears throat] traveling now, but he has hundreds of thousands of YouTube subscribers just dropping in the chat. So cool, man. I love it. The original OG. Oh, the OG. Like, so Dave, you know, so many people. Meta Puppet, these I can't wait to hear what Meta Puppet's been cooking up, by the way. You know, he hasn't been able to come to these events. And I'm so sad that he's the nicest guy on person, George, I've ever met, truthfully. And like I'm just so sad that he's not at these places, but he's like, you know, I'm cooking up stuff. You know, hopefully you'll be excited when it launches. And last time I was like, man, he just invented Genai MTV
1:47:05 with your music video. So what what what we got next, bro? What have we got next? That's the thing. If you if all of a sudden if you start hearing a lot of the like the really good producers quiet and you not heard from them for a while, they're cooking something. They're cooking something. They're stirring the pot mate in the background. They're just stirring that pot. They never, you know, all creatives just just would be depressed if you weren't making actively. So whether it's client work or spec work or you know that's the difference between a creative and a non-creative is is it you feel like a burden when you're not creating as a creative whereas a non-creative has to force themselves to be creative almost you know it's like um it is the differentiator that I've noticed when I take workshops and stuff between people that can instantly get along like and and what's awesome about that by the way this is
Why do so many creatives end up in other jobs?
1:47:55 a random tangent and aside before the next video is uh because it's going to be a heavy We're going to close heavy again with this next one. But I've trained like account managers with no previous creative background that has sort of built into a role that you're like, "Oh, you are just a creative, but you just took a role that took more money that you're also good at that, you know, like you're good at doing coms and PR or what have you." So then they took like you know lot lots of the stereotypes in the UK is you become a lawyer or a doctor or whatever your family tells you is the best like income source you know to guarantee your future income whereas be lo and behold you're a poet you're an artist you're a filmmaker but you never wanted to be in this profession it turns out you were trapped in it and now AI can really like switch you over you know but there's other people that are just not that you know and
1:48:46 it's interesting I I think a lot of the time is because a lot of creatives that it's hard to monetize. Of course, that's the publishing and distribution is the next thing that everyone needs to sort out. The AI companies sponsoring is good, but it's just not enough to keep this continuously being your full-time thing. You know, that's the reason why they go into those otherwise they would definitely stay into it because in my lifetime, I've met a lot of talented broke singers. Thousands. Oh yeah, bro. Thousands. Tell me about it. And it's not that their talent isn't good. So, it's just again, it's how do I monet how do I monetize this? And you know, it's a shame. It's one of the saddest things seeing somebody with so much creativity, so many great ideas, and they just can't do it because they obviously they need to keep the lights on. But hopefully with AI, it's going to make you're going to see a lot of
1:49:35 ideas that the world would never have seen come to fruition. They're talking good ideas because obviously there's going to be a lot of bad ideas as well, but uh Oh, yeah. There's going to be a lot of everything. Yeah, but yeah, original IP, original ideas, world models that we can drop into at the end of this year or whatever. You know, this is the stuff I'm excited for. We're the anti-slop, you know, and there is going to be the slop and lots of it. And we're the anti We're the anti-slop even though we started out with like, you know, literal slop news with like slop characters. It's funny. Oh, yeah. So, this one, like I said, is going to be extreme. We'll also do a pause and a vote to continue because we're gonna maybe close out the show with this one. We've only got sort of seven minutes left of the show anyway. So, may not might not even get it to a 10-minute chunk, but let's see.
Black Harvest, Giulio Fulchignoni's Embryom Chronicles short
1:50:23 This one is called Black Forest. Uh, let me see if I can get the full name. It's from Embre Chronicles. Like I said, it is a horror piece, so it's not going to be for everyone, but let's check it out anyway. Ah,
1:51:09 heat. Heat. Heat. Amazing. We're all
1:52:14 Where am I? I am Heat. Heat. Hallelujah.
1:53:01 [music] Hallelujah. Heat. [music] Heat. Heat. Heat.
1:54:15 Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. Okay.
1:55:02 Hello. Let me unmute us. Right. So, we're going to pause it right there. And uh yeah, we've only got sort of a few minutes left of the show. This one's a bit more of a slower build. As you can see, we're only sort of a not even a 5 minutes into a like 20 minute piece here. Obviously, if you have to drop out, you have to drop out. No worries. Uh, I wish I'd kind of put this in the middle or in the next episode just in truth because, you know, it is a bit more of a slow build into the world, but the world's
1:55:52 pretty interesting and intense and the sound design is really nice and there's a lot to like about this piece so far. But yeah, maybe it should have been saved for another episode just cuz it's like, you know, a middle of the episode sort of showcase. The music video would have been much better of a closer is what I'm thinking. God damn it. I really screwed up there. But we've we've had straight ones done now. So, who is anyone else to complain? You know, it's been pretty insane. But what's your thoughts on this piece so far? It reminded me of a video game, to be honest. It had a bit of like like Yeah, it was blending between realism and video game vibes, wasn't it? I think that was the thing. Over I thought stylistically it was great. It was great. What do you think? I think it's a bit like Cavan stuff, you know, where it's like a chronology.
1:56:42 So, there's lots of episodic stuff where if this is the first one you're catching, you have to like build into the world, you know, whereas um others are made for, you know, you introduce the character straight away and other things like this. So, it's more like you're being dropped into like yeah, like a chronology or something. So, I can appreciate it for that. And I'm I'm interested to find out about the rest of the chronology. The first time I'm seeing this. Obviously, again, these creators, we need to find out, you know, how they're doing it, what they are doing, whether they want to come on the show. It's incredible. Everyone's making such long form pieces that are like really, really high quality. It's really crazy to see. Fallout kind of vibes Marco is saying. Yeah, exactly. few other references like it's uh pretty mad stylistically that we can pull off these worlds continuously and get continuity
1:57:34 right yeah you know I just long form long form did they say what it was done in I guess it was seance oh no it began the whole thing I believe uh was it in video agent yes there we go made in video agent one but again you can't sort of Nvidia has access to all the It's video models. So, it would have seance, cling, all of that, you know. So, again, it's like probably lots of it seance and cling 3.0 being that they're the most recent models out. Uh, some might be others, but it's hard to know. I think Mary just said it. She goes, "I can see how this could be the intro to make your character enter the first level and equip and harvest." Yeah, exactly.
1:58:20 Find all the different things that you need before you get into the game. Definitely see that. Well guys, um I had a bit of an incident with my wife earlier, so I don't I want to go make sure she's okay and stuff. I'm going to end the show there. Otherwise, I'd have said who's up for continuing and and yada yada yada. But it's like because when you said I have an incident with my wife, I got to make sure she's okay. It's like you've done something to her. [laughter] I didn't do anything to her, mate. It sounds so bad when you say it like that. Yeah. Oh god. Yeah. She had an accident earlier today which ended up in a and so I just want to make sure she's all right, you know. Uh, god damn it. Yeah. Should have said that way better. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. [laughter] Brilliant. But guys, thank you. It's been another great week.
Special guests coming up and a two-week break
1:59:09 Chris, amazing. Marco, thank you so much for all your Marco. Legendary. Like I said, we won't and our super fans, you know, like the ones that show up every week. You guys are the best. You [clears throat] guys are the best. People are working. I appreciate it. And it's California early morning, you know. Exactly. Exactly. But thanks guys, everyone. We will see you uh on the live in two weeks. Two weeks. Yes. Two weeks. Available on LinkedIn, on the WhatsApp groups, all of that. So yeah, make sure you subscribe to the Luma. Paul will kick my ass. So Paul uh you know set up a newsletter which has been hard to keep up with again without Paul and all of this stuff. So, it'll be a bit later than usual, but I'll do my best to try and get it out with all of the links if you subscribe at luma.com/edley.
1:59:56 All of you guys already are. All of you guys watching are nearly all subscribed to it. So, let a friend know. Maybe say that instead, you know, like let more people know about this show. And uh yeah, we're going to have special guests coming on. Look out for different broadcast times for those. Again, it's depending on them. These are very, very special guests. So, if it might be a Wednesday or a Friday or whenever they've got schedule in their world tour, many of them, you know, to like drop in a live or where maybe it's pre-recorded even, maybe we bring a totally new format and then just broadcast a pre-recorded thing live or something like what you think about other formats for special guests, what format you'd like to see. Andrew loves the workflows. I just love asking about how you got into creativity. You know, what inspires you like what uh yeah I you know it's but that's why it's two hosts you know you ask the technical I
2:00:49 ask the bigger topics and we get like a lot out of the you know the special guests and so should be fun. Congrats on your YouTube [ __ ] mate like um awesome that you're doing that this week and like awesome just congrats on that. I'm not going to say too much if I don't know how much is revealed or whatever, but this is a bit a big a big training session with YouTube and the BBC and the National Film and TV School. Awesome. Congrats. The UK. So, I'm training about 200 YouTubers, stroke TV producers. And of course, I'll be telling them about this show. I've been doing a lot of stuff with them the last six months. Anyway, um the National Film and TV School because we've just finished a big project with Amazon Prime. So, now it's YouTube and BBC. So, I'm doing that on Thursday. So, yeah, looking forward to that. like they were like three of the biggest giants in like any brand ever created,
2:01:36 you know, YouTube, Amazon Prime and all of it. It's awesome. It's so BBC, you know, our national broadcaster, like just so many big names, mate. World Cup vibes. Honestly, it's just like but it's all about all about getting those creatives and not being like that show that we watched that video that we watched where he said um there's no room for you know say you know what there is room for no poetry no art no music no film no there is this is what drives us as humans we were gonna show actually um you know Zack London who's Gossip Goblin that's his tag one of his best things is like uh he had a video where he's like uh you AI robots are the future and he's like, "Do you want to experience what the meatag LLM's like?" You know, their whole thing was about passion and culture and all of this. And they go back and show this montage and it's beautiful.
2:02:28 We actually have got some of his stuff and hopefully he's a special guest that will come on in the future, you know, like uh yeah, who's just casually dropping in like this. Love how casually he just dropped in like that. I I didn't hear the ice cream van man. He's not jumping in. But yeah, guys, like Andrew said, Fortnite from now will be back. Um, but look out for another episode potentially midweek with a special guest. I need to get those dates locked in with these guys because it's recent conversations. I want to get them locked in before they blow up and they're on Netflix and Amazon Prime and you know they that's their path and trajectory. A lot of these guys are for sure. It's kind of nuts, mate. Like good times, eh? We've come a long way in AI in four years, five years, six years doing this.
2:03:13 I can't even remember how many years it's been. It's uh Yeah, you should go back and try and work out when you started this cuz this I showed Marco some stuff earlier, which is, you know, pre-hatb. Yeah. Oh, it's way longer. No, this show the original show. Oh, this show um Well, if you count the audio room as the continuation to the live stream, then it's about four years. Yeah. Yeah. So, it's been a long time, you know. Yeah. Brilliant. All right. Look after. Cheers, guys. Yes, I will too. See you guys soon. Take care, everyone. Take it.
