Back on air, with Marcus Grip from Wonder Studios in the chat

0:12 Hey hey we are back hey everybody building back in the building and we can already see your Comments coming in you guys know when we're live the show is regularly back on the air again Me and andrew traveling less marcus is straight in the building from wonder studios let's go we Got west hollywood tuning in straight away san francisco early morning rises hello from london Thank you so much for tuning in gang gang in the oaklands our best ever fan Glouge I love that place Straight in mary what's your comment going to be this week Last week you were writing bars for us so you know you got a one-up there and like what are

1:00 You going to come up with this week that's the what's the merry comment going to be How you doing mate how you doing good good just being um just because I'm not training I was While um so now it's just admin getting stuff having a bit of like time off play with you know You've got to look after the kids when they're they're not at school and stuff like that so yeah That's pretty much what my plan is what about you well last year we thought right august is so you Know everyone's on summer holidays it's a nice time to book our own holidays this year mate it's Like all the models are dropping in these last few weeks all the budgets are happening everyone's

1:46 Signing stuff it's nice exact opposite so you can't we we tried to and had planned for like Some time off in august yeah yeah but we've just signed on to some new staff and we're already Scrambling about how we're going to meet deadlines and truthfully it's like you know all always go A good problem to have it is a good problem to have but also we do need the vacation and we have Got kids and we want to do stuff with our kids so it's just trying to balance that you know uh Yeah we'll see it is we've got gang gang from spain hi just to let you know if you're in linkedin a Lot of the times we can't see who it is for some reason because stream yard doesn't tell us so It just says linkedin user so I'm gonna log in to my linkedin account and see uh who it is but

2:35 Gang gang from spain whereabouts are you in spain and I love the way you spell spain as in ai I've never looked at it before it's a good one it's funny because we've got a reference to that Coming up later on in the show with a capital ai inside another word inside one of the pieces That we're going to show so it's nice nice whiskey woven said what is a vacation Yeah exactly I wish I knew what a vacation was like god damn but yeah let's uh let's talk about Some of the news guys it's been an exciting week as I say it's all systems go lots and lots of new Model testing we've got mini max tests we've got c dance tests we've got all sorts of stuff really

3:22 What happened last week was c dance 2.5 was so hot on our heels that nothing really had been Given the time to be made, you know, that was really watchable. So what we've got this week is essentially a week later, Which is incredible to think that we're only a week after the model release launch. And yet we've already got very watchable things for this show Made exclusively with that model as well. And one of the reasons why that is the case is obviously We have 30 second duration shots now, Which have never been even close to possible in the past. So if I'm uh sounding a little bit sick as well by the way guys I was just telling andrew in the Green room unfortunately I've got another virus and I'm trying to get over it and still do the Show so if you hear me coughing or muting myself at any point in the show that is the reasons why

4:12 We have got paul in the background as well for those that always ask and uh he's been in the Middle of doing a lot of new client stuff and you know we're really scrambling for this week's show So if you see us like talking more with you guys, that's because we're literally loading in the video still in the background and stuff just to be completely transparent. But again, another awesome show. Thank you so much for submitting to us. If you're new to the show, you can essentially find us through luma.com forward slash the AI live show. And everything's there now. You can see future creator sessions, which we do. And these regular shows, you can also see the newsletter there. Us we also have a full website now which is the ai live show as well and yeah people have been

5:00 Giving us really nice feedback about the tornado carousel and the way that you can easily watch Things and how it's working on mobile and stuff so thanks so much for all that feedback guys Really really appreciate all of that but yes someone said what do you make of suno's tocs It got Higgs fielded yeah I saw that I got an email from Suno today or yesterday um and I Literally grabbed the the the TOCs put it into chat GPT and trying to work out what it is basically It's where Suno at the beginning was pretty much if you paid you keep everything now you're starting To see less and less and less and less stuff that you get based on what you pay for I think Suno

What do Suno's new terms of service mean for creators?

5:48 I think what you're seeing here is, if you look at history of the internet, or history of the Music industry and the internet, the music industry got hit hard because of Napster, And they were still annoyed today because of iTunes, because iTunes really was like the, Let's go with what Apple suggested, and that kind of changed music, and it went from albums to just Singles, and they were not happy with that, and then the third thing that came was MySpace, Everything and then YouTube. They don't want to make that mistake again. And this here, I.e. AI Is the next biggest thing since social media or the peer-to-peer thing. So they're not going to Make that mistake again. So when they saw Suno and Udio, I think they just went on them hard

6:34 Because they've taken 20 years to pretty much monetize again, or at least to get that power Back. And what you're seeing is that they're going to, if they haven't already, own percentages of Definitely so that's the settlement I don't know about suno because they're a much bigger company They're worth 5.4 billion dollars yeah that was the latest announcement that I saw when we were At upscale that was the announcement that was on the x feed is suno's worth over 5 billion dollars Whereas udo there was this settlement and I think it was with warner so you're exactly right mate You know the the settlement was essentially like it was a lawsuit that led to a part acquisition

7:20 Yeah they benefit from the future finances of this model which was clearly trained on their things So instead of going to the court systems they just said you know we'll give you 30 40 or whatever it Is and do by your terms of service and stuff I haven't actually read the terms of service on Sooner announcement so I've been a bit being catching up all week on everything um so yeah It's good that you guys are letting us know about that and seeing that though in your feeds and Stuff like that there has been a lot of stuff that's going on and yeah bringing attention to It's important the first other bit that I thought actually most people missed is because if you're Not on x which a lot of people on linkedin and youtube that follow us aren't actually on x actually These days um grok imagine 2 is doing updates so it's their image model which is their sort of

Grok Imagine Image 2.0

8:09 Foundational model and now essentially it's showcasing and we saw this quite nice video Showing this that it can do infographics ads game assets ux ui sort of things uh mock-ups storyboards And a bunch of more stuff and it is available in an api in aggregators like magnifique or artlist Other providers that do sort of every tool. So let's check it out.

9:09 We don't usually do a poll on stuff like this because it's news you know we're not into the Ads or the films or something but I really like that you know as a like video showcase of exactly What it's trying to show you infographics and stuff it's just a nice little like flowy video Wasn't it you know what croc for political reasons and I guess obvious reasons doesn't get enough Decent model it is a decent model it's not obviously it's not c dance it's not vo3 but If you want to do little bits and pieces get b-roll and stuff you know it's a really decent model Yeah I've just seen blacklight joining in saying morning ballers tuning in he's going to be on one Of our future creator sessions and there's a few other people that uh we've got to announce later

9:54 On in the show by the way that we have uh already secured as creative sessions and we're really Excited to have them in future episodes yeah legends in the building loving it but yeah as You say mate it's underrated because it's got that political association that's it it's literally a Very very good and cheap model to use both in the image and the video use cases and I'm seeing it Being having more and more use cases truthfully so yeah I think of it agnostically especially When it's in an aggregator and I don't actually need to go to x to use it you know like it's just Like oh I'll use it like any other video model at all if it's as good as it is it says what it does On the tin so yeah interesting but yeah if you hadn't seen that basically now you know that it's Kind of like revi or kind of like imaging or ideogram wasn't it um others can now do these

10:45 Sort of like nano banana 2 and stuff you know they can do these more comprehensive like stuff You know it's not just creating images it's like infographics and game assets and specific stuff Storyboards and stuff like this so anyway first bit of news the second bit of news is that Minimax's h3 model is open source now you can download it you can download it with open weights And you can have it running locally on your device without any cloud payments and there's People I know actually doing this and I'm really excited that he might join us I won't spoil the Announcement yet but I chatted to a guy yesterday he was running it on his own you know Mega graphics

MiniMax H3 goes open weights: Phil Langer's model comparison

11:31 Card inside of his house showing really cool sort of mini Max stuff both for lip sync and uh also Music videos or generations in general but this one is from Phil Langer and we've seen a lot of Phil Langer's stuff on the show before because he does films and spec ads and all sorts of different Pairing c dance 2.5 to mini which is minimax's old model and then minimax h3 which is their new model And then showing the same prompts across all four models basically um so yeah let's have a look and Check it out

12:34 Cannonball! Cannonball! Cannonball!

13:40 Wow tests and that last one being the 32nd one which is the new thing to sd 2.5 right is the Second generation from one prompt which is where it differs from c dance 2 and mini max and others Right now but it's fun huh so tell me this the first one was c dance 2.5 and the second one was C dance 2.5 30 seconds so what was the difference between the two if it was both c dance 2.5 Um so c dance 2 mini here is a different version it's like the first one he done here was c yeah Yeah yeah that'll be the regular context length so there's an extra feature called extra long Basically okay sure sure sure yeah so it still has the regular length but then you have this ability

14:30 To extend it in this one shot type thing to a 30 second length in dreamena even you can go three Minutes but actually what's happening is um you really want to do 30 second chunks with an agent And have them split because it goes a bit crazy after yeah but I'll tell you what this face seconds Was great but you see also you really see the difference yes you do see the difference between The three and it's um you do right yeah and many would argue that still the shorter period of time Is much more controllable right now and um you know a lot less warpiness and basically it is Degenerating over time you know and they need to fix this if they want to do like really one Shot minute things and stuff like this I've really yeah I like that I just like that it's a great

15:20 This is the the first one I actually thought that obviously the both 2.5s were the best but the Minimax one was pretty good apart from the end when he went into the swimming pool his legs Turned around quickly but um I'm impressed impressed with all I'm telling you mate this Is the surprising thing is minimax is really really shockingly good and it's really cheap too Um and it's lip sync stuff that we'll watch later is one of its strength points now you can Definitely tell it's not as good at physics understanding world model stuff hard edges you Know c dance definitely has the edge absolutely but for like you know certain scenarios you can Useful in the workflow and it's really interesting that that's the case now especially when it's

16:08 Open weights and it's downloadable and you can actually not pay for generations if you have the Tech to be able to use it locally which is very interesting but also you know the security of it You know you have it on your system yeah yeah your local device it's like a very different thing I See aaron dropping into the chat as well another legend in the building dropping in we're going to Doing stuff with aaron in the future as well you know aaron's thing mate uh just going back into Og music territory here is he's working from um richard yeah the boat yeah I told you didn't I It's crazy I can't wait to see the boat I missed it on our laundry trip last time I'm desperate to see this boat mate exactly whereabouts is the boat or is it like

16:56 Docked up or is it like just cruising yeah I'm assuming it's docked up somewhere But yeah no yeah story so question from wntd vlogs what do you think guys does ai filmmaking Have real career scope can a graduate entering today build a long-term career in it or is it Still too early we'd love to hear your views do you want to go first or yeah definitely I mean Think it's probably the most exciting time to be a filmmaker truthfully in our entire lives um That's the truth of it now it will evolve and the role of it will definitely change over time So you'll have to be agile if you're going to work in this type of new future filmmaking

Can a graduate build a career in AI filmmaking?

17:43 But yes absolutely I see there being loads more roles I see it being much more exciting I see Small teams making incredible stuff um that's my thoughts on it what's yours mate pretty much So yeah, wanted vlogs. I don't recognize the name, but I don't know if you've ever watched this show before, But we've been showcasing basically what's possible. Some of the people that has built careers off of this already. And even when we do the creative interviews, These are people that are making real impact. And impact is not just getting their stuff out there. I'm talking money as well, like life-changing money. And yeah, if you as a graduate right now, I will be diving headfirst in this Not just don't just think of it from I have to prompt like what we were just seeing with a guy

18:31 Jumping in the in the swimming pool but also there's going to be like I was reading something Netflix this week was saying that out of the 300 films so far 60 of them has ai in it not saying They're ai films but they've got ai in the in the special effects and all of these things so Definitely it is and they're just the ones that admit that let's be honest mate they're just the Ones that are bold enough to come out and say yeah used ai but to this day like more and more Youtubers are being caught to using ai for script writing because of certain phrases that are used And it's obvious because we all use the same tools you know um so yeah it's becoming unquestionable That this sort of stuff is going to be the future of so much as mary said it's actually going to be

19:18 Industry agnostic as well because the possibilities are vast across everything like if you've got Into ai filmmaking you might end up in advertising or film or music video creation or loads of Things you know yeah sorry friends going so yeah um I was like are you telling me to stop are you Yes so let's play another film let's play another a clip film yeah let's keep going let's keep going With my show notes so that was it basically with the end of the news you know um not much news in Terms of like there's tons of c dance 2.5 usage throughout this episode so that is the news really

20:04 You know finally we've had a week in a bit where people have had a chance to make their awesome Stuff and we're seeing the first glimpses of it um this next one um you mentioned it earlier you Know with the ai capitalize this one is for a festival called create with ai capitalized in The create part uh it's the cap cup create festival basically and the premise for the Entry of this one because they have individual things that you can enter into was that you have To make a 30 second brand film so this is uh yeah it's a really nice like sort of like idea isn't it Like to it's kind of like runways you know when they set certain rules and stuff like this Um this one is called bring it on it's by mike j mitch and uh basically he did a film for his own

Bring It On by Mike J Mitch, a CapCut CREAITE entry

20:57 Company that doesn't exist he called it mitchell athletic co right um and it's included of four Athletes one voice offering them every excuse to quit and every single frame and every single At which was part of the rules so let's check it out don't get up don't get ready Don't do rep after rep after rep Don't chase it stay down you're sore you're busy you're tired nobody would blame you Just let it all go or ignore every word I just said

21:44 Bring it on You see what's incredible about that mate is no clip there made me think that wasn't real Yeah the only thing I thought potentially was football like it was just a bit not like The dribbling in the yeah the dribbling in the yeah that's the only thing the dribbling With the football but every other like the boxing the swimming the nails the the physics The water the camera motion everything you know we used to question and go oh yeah that's the Obvious bit where it's ai that's yeah let's say I and now it's like oh it's just the football scene Of those 20 shots it's that one shot is the only one that you can really notice that it's out of Whack anyway the voting is now open for that one guys we're now in the ads and spec ads and sections

22:33 Where we do open the voting and polling what did you think to that did you think it was one awesome Two okay three not for me as someone that works in advertising I was like that is clean and it Looks like it could have been a nike ad it could have been anything you know so I give it a straight Ones from me I thought the yeah all of the close-up shots I really like the camera motion as Well and the pacing and the editing really really worked for me what do you recommend yeah straight One for me I thought it was really good I think that I've been looking we've both been looking in Quite a lot um seeing how much it's improved because of physics it's always been challenging And even if you was listening this time last year you'd be like ah you couldn't do that now

23:21 It's pretty pretty much apart from the football all of the other stuff is like unbelievable what You can do now I really like that advert like if you if there was a night tick there I wouldn't Think to myself um wow nice cut cut its budget yeah I wouldn't think that at all I'd be thinking Oh nice got a new one so yeah I like that you know what's really impressive about it Is that it had to squash all this into 30 seconds you know it really is so many shots there must Have been 0.5 seconds sort of like shots like timed almost to a second you know like and every Like in each shot was like exactly how it should be so every single shot was really hand carefully

24:08 Selected uh so yeah really really you can tell the level of quality and that sort of thing is Really really high actually actually I actually I actually didn't like the voice I forgot to say I Wasn't a fan of okay he could have got a better voice should have mentioned the voice yeah yeah Yeah the voice was was was the thing that I immediately I thought ah it wasn't noticeable To me as in it didn't grate me but I didn't stand out to me either because I didn't even Really remember it so I was more focused on the visuals I think being so sharp you know that the Voiceover sort of washed over me so yeah that's that's a good point about the voice lara made a Really good point and I heard this before when I'm working with people working tv especially um

24:55 Well laura said it feels like we're gonna miss shooting soon that's a really really interesting Point because I know some of my friends camera people they love shooting they love going on set They love like they're coming up with different angles and stuff and as you said that might be Obviously there's always going to be time for shooting stuff but yeah that might be a situation Where you're going to get that less and less well truthfully the stuff that excites me is the hybrid Moment and using c dance 2.5 with real footage is incredible like Justin did at the wonder project You know where they're walking in the literal door of the church and then suddenly it's transformed Into the Roman Colosseum but it's using the driving video of the real life footage which was

Is your camera now an infinite lens?

25:42 Actually captured you know so the way I think about this in the sort of like future optimistic Filmmaker way is your camera is now an infinite lens so you can go capture like a scene in like a You know a beach town that's like not lit well and then post produce with ai to light it better Yeah you know so like you you're not like don't think of stop doing raw footage no get more because Now you can do loads more with post-production in ai than you could and hybrid sort of like Have a dragon enter through the top of your very boring mundane thing and it looks like I could get A million views on instagram now like for real it's like now the video camera is more important

26:28 Than before if you use tastefully and correctly with adjacent to ai you know that is that's the Way is that what simon mayer did that skateboarding one and a few other people they've gone and they've Shot I remember there was one that we showed in new york subway and then he was shooting New york subway is like all of these things that you can do unless you're shooting at the imax yeah Exactly imax may did you see just as a tangent the funniest video ever I posted it on yub nub Which is one of our other pages on linkedin maybe people didn't know this but we own a page called Yub nub creative and it posts things that are not ai and stuff you know it's just a regular Creative page that posts regular creative things anyway some guy did like a spoof like

27:15 Made with imacs and he he was holding a giant imacs you know an imac computer and yeah it was Like pretending he was christopher nolan and doing interviews and like walking around with this giant Thing but I was dying and we play it house I don't know no it's a vertical thing and it's Downloaded but it was hilarious mate I was dying laughing at this I'll definitely check that out On yub nub right yeah on yub nub creative on linkedin yeah yeah check that one out Funny little tangents funny little tangents the next one um we've seen a few of these so we know That runaway is running another big ad contest and they've done loads of these right and this is the

OPEN SOURCE, a water ad by Mathis Barone

28:02 Latest one but this is one that we haven't seen yet and it was submitted to us and it's by someone Who's a fan of the show and someone I talked to as well matisse barone he did uh open source Which is his water ad for the runway big ad competition and basically it's a fictional Water brand made from an ai startup that turns the heat of its servers into drinking water So let's check it out pure fresh oceanic Huh artificially purified seawater wait what so ai can literally generate drinking water now Hmm let me check

28:50 It seems like yes open source questionable water A very dangerous game there the reason I say that is because there's a lot of people Who are really really against AI when it comes to its impact on the environment I know yeah that's That's a very dangerous game uh that that person's playing there but well the voting is now open What what did you think one's awesome two okay three not for me when it came to that one I love Doing these you know the runway big ad competitions because it's like you have to get such a good Thing over in such a short amount of time you know we can rapid fire through ideas and concepts like This again like you said I thought it was kind of edgy because it's the thing that everyone's

29:40 Talking about is the water consumption when it comes to ai and it's like oh ai can now purify Your water and it's like you know it's kind of a loop there I kind of like it though you know it's A juxtaposition you wouldn't expect and the visuals here were really cool you know it's like cycling Through all of the and the transitions there I really liked as well so yeah I really like that As a quick ad entry to a big ad competition I really like it you know again if water has to Be one of the things then you got to take that into consideration it might be one of the entry Requirements just to choose an object which often is with runway stuff so I really like the way the Girl was like the way she reacted and and how she was like her expressions but also little things

30:29 Like her um tan tan lines like you can see her tan like you see in a minute um when she's doing this One second you see it you can kind of see it there but you'll see it in a when she's standing up on The phone attention to you see like little things like that the pan lines and stuff and you just like Was that prompted or did they did the ai just kind of know like she's on a beach she's gonna Wear this type of top that means we can put tan lines on yeah really really interesting whether Or not the ai knew to do that or not it's down to the creator to select the generation that made that Happen you know and that's the sort of continuity things that you look out for the other details of Making things look better or not you know so yeah attention to detail is so important when it's this

31:19 When we're only watching 30 seconds of something you're looking at every single frame almost of Like that you know to judge it rather than something that's like 20 minutes or something Much longer where you're like building into the story and you're more forgiving on some you know Certain aspects of it yeah but yeah very slick as caroline said I think that's good feedback for That slick is how it felt especially in the like last portion where it was all the like transitions You know which really made it feel a lot more slick than the opening sort of shots Which all built up to the transitions it was nice So I think we've got another runway big ad country uh content entry this one is by ben Chamoy he called it the notepad ad so I'm assuming a notepad may have been another thing that they

Ben Chimoy's waterproof Notepad ad

32:06 Had to you know use as part of the entry or it might just be a made-up product I promised so I Did I had been writing and rejecting sketches for some time then I decided to put one into action With the time I had left sometimes getting it done is key is the notes I've got for this one So let's check it out today humanity makes history for the first time we are invited To speak with them one human one message one chance

32:56 Waterproof matters I wasn't expecting that twist at the end being a waterproof notepad is that why So he basically made the ultimate cinematic type you know movie thing and then it's like Over for a waterproof notepad I actually thought before that bit happened I was like This is not that good but when it said that and it's like shooting and I was like it's a bit over The top but I don't get this but when he said waterproof notepad I was like ah okay that's smart Smart I like that that's kind of funny I like yeah yeah at the end so the voting's now open That one guys what did you think was that one awesome two okay three not for me again it's just

33:41 The premise isn't it it's kind of a little simon mayer twist it felt like where it's like oh look Big cinematic what's this alien telling this human and it's suddenly it's like don't confuse the Message when talking to the alien have a waterproof pad when you're talking to the alien you know That's the basic message takeaway I thought it was I thought the the concept was great I'll give the One a concept uh for for the concepts with it with a twist at the end there like it did Uh but overall I'd give it a two probably yeah yeah yeah yeah I'm I'm pretty much the same I Like the concept uh but I'm more like the twist at the end that yeah yeah very much um hey marco Marco's just joined the chat hey what's going on marco anyone's seen a rival yeah paul exactly

34:30 There's many like uh like uh sort of alien movies that that was in reference to I felt like What's up what's up brother good to see you with us another one of our creator sessions in the Future we've got so many awesome ones ones we can talk about actually that's a nice little segue After this one get your last votes in by the way for that one if you're coming in on linkedin and Stuff I know that it's a bit late uh delayed but yeah we've got two awesome announcements mate And we're going to have an exclusive premiere with henry which is really excited about um And we're going to be you know we've followed the junkyard king and we've watched it on the show And now we get to be the world's first to watch the next episode of the junkyard king

Coming up: Henry Daubrez's Junkyard King premiere and Albert Bozesan

35:15 So yes mate it's officially episode two I actually asked him in dms is this episode three or two Because you had a zero and he told me yes that was more of a pilot you know uh so this is officially We're going to call it episode two of the junkyard king we're going to be watching that on the 26th Of august um live with him and then we're going to premiere it and then be able to interview him Afterwards as well all of that can be found now on the luma.com 4 ai live show and actually before Them on the 19th of august we actually have albert boseman and robert his uh co-writer and they That I want to showcase to you mate for the first time so I'm not going to show that to you ahead of

36:03 Time I want your reaction during the show with them being interviewed straight afterwards because It was a duo behind a hybrid project that involved you know real cameras and lots of hybrid productions And stuff so it'd be a great one to like pick their mind about how they worked on it and what Their ambitions are for the future of this hybrid production stuff so yeah hybrid world is good in The guy that I was just waving to just a minute ago he's the one who works on stranger things They're the one that like again working with loads of things on netflix and stuff and he's Done marvel films and stuff and hybrid the hybrid stuff is definitely something to look into in the Future well talking of hybrid promise have huge announcements you know dave clark and promise

Dave Clark's feature film with the producer of The Backrooms

36:49 So they were the first on to the disney incubator which was announced recently yeah yeah and um Then Dave came out literally yesterday and announced that he's doing a feature film with the producer of the back rooms, which is huge. Right. So, and it's about the dead internet theory, which is something mean. So I was instantly like may a huge congratulations and also sick topic to have got something, you know, greenlit over. Uh so again dave will be on a creator sessions in the future um can't wait to have him you know on Backup he's been on the show what two or three times now in the past but things are happening For him like it's crazy it's awesome to see awesome to see that looking forward to seeing

37:40 That because uh yeah dave's always doing some stuff there and not just that it's the fact that A lot of the big studios are now saying all right let's see let's see where this goes you know let's Let's let's give it a chance let's see where it goes so looking forward to that so there's loads Of people uh tuning in from linkedin please not linkedin from youtube please if you're on youtube Can you like the video it just helps us in the algorithms for yes subscribe as well right stay Up to date with what's going on look at you being a good youtuber I know I feel like I'm a youtuber I think this is the first time I've ever said like and subscribe click the notification bell What else do they say what else do they say on youtube I can't remember what else yeah so yeah These are I'm living out my dream I live being a youtuber oh it's fun isn't it I can't wait to do

38:35 These partnerships because it will bring new audiences what's really cool about that you Faces no doubt we'll do stuff with wonder who are watching marcus and others you know where they've Got their own app and they do great stuff they're doing stuff with cap cut by the way yeah so we Watched cap cut earlier they're doing like you know partnerships with cap cut where they give You credits and yeah awesome ring the bell bell love it brilliant and we may do some in-person Shooting soon as well talking about hybrid you know I want to do a podcast where we're in the We can ever do it we should like get cameras and do a you know I think the live show may travel This year as well for the first time like I think I've been asked to go to a few ai festivals where

Should AI LIVE go on the road?

39:22 They're like and the live show come with you you know yeah yeah I think coming to you from austin Texas mate it could be soon like exactly what would be good is that we just go to the beginning Of the chat and say where's everyone from and it'd be like coming to you from cruise romania Wherever it may be the boat wherever it may be that's we gotta keep one-ing upping our venues You know like it's just like the boat will be a legendary pull an episode from the boat will be Like law for the podcast yeah you know what I remember when I was at myspace I had this idea And it we had this couch and we ended up getting this guy to do graffiti on this leather couch And I had this idea I said right we're gonna do this thing called the myspace couch and what we'll Do is when an artist is on stage like we do it with certain artists we'll have this couch on

40:11 Stage with them and whoever wins the competition will sit on the couch watching it so they'll be On stage but it'll be at the side of the stage and they can watch it and we wanted to make this Famous called the myspace couch but I don't know they went for something else so I was like I think That would still work you know I still think that would work and it's like we'll do a like we'll do A we'll do a live episode and then we'll just invite people from the like the ogs from the chat To be like right pull up a chair and just grab a mic and come join us and speak that way I even Love the graffiti on the couch I think we should get everyone to sign it you know everyone that We've interviewed should come and sign the couch after this on stuff like that you know and yes we Will do it from san francisco we were very close to already doing it from san francisco actually When I was at upscale I was going to do a version of the live show from upscale but it may be that

41:01 We end up doing it from malaga upscale instead of the san francisco one that I was in but yeah if You have a place for us and you're in san francisco and we can get over there and do the podcast from Wherever you have in san francisco again let's know we'd love to know about it but let's keep Going with the show mate uh the last one the next one sorry was submitted to us and it's by marcus Sequoia campos I hope I pronounced that right and it's just called the ping pong effect now just a Bit of a note on this one we're not sure if this is a real ad or a spec ad because it's definitely For a real brand we don't know if it was commissioned by them or if it was just a highly Polished spec ad because it is very highly polished but yeah this uh film ad is about a symptom found

The Ping Pong Effect: real Notion ad or spec?

41:53 In many companies the habit of bouncing tasks to someone else whenever the work falls out of your Own expertise essentially uh the film follows the endless back and forth of its breaking point And shows what um what happens when the ball finally stops and we know this one was made with Nano banana sea dance a bit of after effects and some 11 labs and for the voiceover and sound so Let's check it out. In any given office someone is about to start what experts Call the ping-pong effect. An employee receives a task and bam! Swift forehand To his colleague. The ball keeps moving but work doesn't. A game where productivity

42:42 Gravity always loses. Notion. Work without side effects. See what I mean? Like, how can you tell whether that's spec or real? That looks so polished, right? It looks so nicely done. The overlays, the editing. I would give this a straight one. Whether it's a spec ad or a real ad for Notion, we're not sure. If you know more details let us know in the comments I thought that was awesome truthfully I'll be surprised if it was a real ad just because I hardly ever seen notion advertise Right doesn't mean that they won't but I thought that was really good um But yeah thank you so much to us submitting that to us um we found this on a vimeo link with no

43:32 Extra details you know so again if you're watching and you submit this to us marcos or if you're in Touch with marcos let us know you know more details about this now what I'm going to say About this is it's so good it feels like a real ad so I'm giving it a one you know like it felt Really this part especially where it's like you know the little graphics and stuff that's like It just looks nice but then after effects was mentioned so definitely this person's got some Serious skills you know they're not just using ai they're using like after effect skills and Editing and so yeah a lot of awesomeness from one person in this ad I'd give it straight ones Very good yes last final minute for you guys um from linkedin we know you're a bit behind so

44:18 Uh the voting is now open for that one still if you thought that was awesome slammer one if you Thought it was okay hit two if you thought it was not for you hit three I'd be very surprised if you Gave that one a three though truthfully if you know anything about ads that was a really nice ad Really, really nice. And again, thank you so much for submitting that to us. The next one is also submitted to us. So check out the AI live show.com where you'll see all of the future show Announcements and a way to submit to us. It's just at the very top there. So submit to us now a little button and you just hit that and you'll be Transformed straight to a little place that you can directly send videos to us. If you want to appear on the show in the future. I grabbed this one very last minute before the show. So I really hope that this is uh what it says it is because um yeah this was the last minute grab

AI Faire La Fete: a hybrid champagne ad that got greenlit

45:08 Before the show from paul fedor and I think it's called ai fairy la fette champagne ad it's a two Minute piece and it's a hybrid ad that started off as original photographs so there's a lot of notes For this one um it's a project that started off as a test for his great friend's photos Done a champagne ad and gave him a couple of photos to test the test was so good that it turned Into a spec commercial and we loved it and sent it to an ad agency the ad agency showed it to the Client and then they got greenlit to live the spot nice love that it's a nice story you know that's What we like to hear is the continuation of stuff happening on her so offers went out to get the

45:54 Original models but unfortunately the model didn't fit uh like the idea had being at the ai spot so With ai shot for shot though in the detail and matched the original photos to make it look really Good they're also doing a breakdown and everything else in the end everything was 100 ai generated Except for the original photograph material which you're going to see basically but yeah it was used Throughout the process and it was nano banana cling vo and a few other tools let's check it out

46:39 Thank you.

47:49 Oh Champs-Elysées Balabalaba Oh Champs-Elysées Balabalaba Au soleil, sous la pluie À midi ou à minuit Il y a tout ce que vous voulez Au Champs-Elysées Je me baladais sur l'avenue Le cœur ouvert à l'inconnu J'avais envie de dire bonjour à n'importe qui N'importe qui Ce fut toi Je t'ai dit n'importe quoi Yeah people are already giving that ones before the polling was open and that's why

48:38 The polling is now open so hit those ones again for those that gave one slightly too early Um what did you think of that awesome okay not for me one two or three that's why I gave it so Much context in the build-up and yeah you support you know of exactly what we were watching because It was a lot wasn't it it was like we watched like this part where it was a side-by-side comparison I like that then it went through the stream of photos and then it was like what they ended up With and as actually it was said very well by lara a great case study yeah like this is a great film To show a client about what's possible and how it's possible and where real photos are very useful Ai replacement is very useful as well and all of the above yeah I think that's pretty much what

49:27 Everything that you said I thought I like the fact that they've done that this is what it looked like Before and this is what it looked like with ai and you see how close it was now don't get me wrong There's going to be a lot of people that will be completely against that because it's like oh you're Taking jobs etc but I think it's a really good case study um of what they've done um and what One person but yeah really really really like that awesome right and thank you so much again For submitting that to us Paul uh John Alexander tuning in giving that a one from LinkedIn thank You so much and I love the comment from California girl here as a photographer I loved it yeah you Know like that's the really important thing that got over on this video to me is that this was

50:15 Clearly a photographer they did the photos you know and then they're now also using ai they Haven't replaced the job they haven't done anything they've just added extra to their tool belt now And it's another toolkit yeah fascinating but again as you said controversial mate like it Will never be seen as this by certain photographers they will never see it for this um sadly because It is amazing it's incredible to see it like it is really really watchable yeah tv of tomorrow Made an interesting point because um somebody said uh what is it vesica studio said one but I hate That they had to make the woman blonde and in tv of tomorrow said unfortunately the eye is always

51:01 Drawn to the light so blonde hair is powerful which is why pop stars always dye their hair I never knew that I never knew that also is in black and white where white really stands out you Like um it's sort of yeah and that's true especially yeah it's kind of weird I've seen a Recent trend of pop stars going blonde you know in the 90s it was like the tips of all of the Like boy bands and stuff going yeah and then eminem just went completely blonde yeah yeah yeah yeah Oh man it's funny to go see the faces coming in now isn't it like um I'm wearing more and more 90s stuff than I've ever done before 90s feeling like stuff and um right back into my uh like Old school sort of like retro vibes good times man good times but now we're into the section

A Gen Jam entry made in four hours

51:52 Which is always the biggest section of every show which is films and everything else we thought was Cool this week so yeah um some interesting stuff going on in this section one of them again I've Give some context for this because there's this thing called the gen jam contrast and it's a Machine cinema and open art contest but there's rules you know we watched actually beans on toast Remember by afro futcher this was one of the gen jams yeah that was the thing supporting England And it was mate we beat we beat Germany in a semi-final it was like I was like get in let's go But um I poland versus indonesia was the final actually and I know the guy that was representing

52:41 Poland in the final of this competition and it was cool to see but it was like a full-on like After the world cup the ai world cup basically you know yeah and I thought that's a really cool Way to do it the only thing that concerns me is the time limits you know they have like three four Hours to make these things and then we're going to showcase them alongside things that people have Yeah it's not really fair to compare them in terms of like how much time they've had to make it but With all of that context anyway this one was from daniel berman and he said um what can a team create In four hours with three prompts and 12 000 ai credits well I decided to give homage to a legendary Director and two of his films I reached round two maybe three of the gen jam contest the original

53:35 Characters so let's check it out So

54:30 I guess that was yeah USA team diffusion as it said on the tin again with the context that That was only made in four hours it's pretty crazy isn't it and um I really like the style Well um the voting is now open for that one guys obviously with all that context what did you think Was that one awesome two okay three not for me I really liked it um the thing I was thinking the Entire time was mate isn't it mental that we live in an era that this can be possible in four hours Yeah that's what I think the pressure impressive I don't like the pressure to make it in four hours But the fact that it can be made in four hours is like really insane actually yeah I think a Comments said for example they're ripping off the rear window by the hitchcock um alfred hitchcock

55:18 And the birds as well so that's what I think that was the ode to the two directors you know it was The whole idea was like two legendary directors and two films so you're you're pointing out You know it was an ode to I thought also that well I thought it was really really good I thought Considering that amount of time I thought it's really really good I thought that this bit here Where he's crossing the road and then you see the options the door the stairs I'm in a wheelchair Like I thought that was just really good the way they've done that I thought really really smart And sage is telling us they have the same director so yeah there's people that know These references you know I thought that camera twirling was the best bit when it's like you know Looking to the staircase stuck into this yeah I'm like god the control we have now the like that was

56:08 Impossible in like four months ago there wasn't a single video model that could create anything even Close to a smooth as what that looks like and now we're here now so yeah it's all about story from Now on guys you know we have the models that we can make incredible things with and the difference Maker from now on will be how well can you tell a story how original is that story which I like Difference maker it's the new era mate where things have to really stand out to stand out You know because we're in the like abundance era of content so well speaking of afro futcher Actually she's up next so diane laid low is her real name as you'll see on linkedin afro futcher

Diane Laidlaw's film built one minute at a time

56:54 Is her handle kind of like ryan phillips uncanny harry you know same same deal um this one is an Titled film and she's actually six minutes into making this and we're going to watch a short Section of it but this is the one of the craziest premises I've ever heard in terms of her like Anyone may be making AI stuff because she's just basically adding a minute at a time to her film With no idea of where it's going to go she has no sort of plot or twist or anything in mind She's this basically is where she added a new character to the episode and like I say She's got no idea where it's going to go or how long it's going to be. She's just working on her sound design skills, she said in her LinkedIn post, basically.

57:41 And that's the reason for continually making, you know, one minute extras, chunks to add on to this film. But with all that said, let's check out the clip. I was with a friend that night, the whole night. They know that. Everybody wants to look at me like I did something. My wife is missing and I'm the one getting hounded. It's ridiculous. No more questions. Stephanie, thank you. We know this ain't easy. Everybody watching tonight, We all hope they find her.

58:35 Hello? Hello? Are you okay? I'm okay. Are they gone? They gone. Just left. Listen, who was you with at Sam's bar? That's none of your business. Was it Deborah? I love this concept she's great isn't she I can't wait to have her on a creator session in the Future as well as dave really excited to announce some of these new ones we've been a huge fan of Her stuff as well for a long time the voting is now open on that one what did you think

59:24 One awesome two okay three not for me as I said it's part of a much bigger piece that's growing And growing and growing chunk by chunk and it's adding new characters adding new scenes what a Crazy concept and to deliver it like this I think it's really creative what do you reckon yeah I Thought that was such a great concept I really really like that um and obviously she doesn't Know where it's going as well all of these things yeah brilliant brilliant concept I'd like to see I like because the thing is if we watch let's say for example we play it two weeks time where She's added another thing you'll have to start from the beginning so you get to watch it again And again and really smart concept really smart get into it more and more don't you and what do The tech guys say in x it's like building in public or something and every day they like

1:00:10 Vibe coding stuff and publishing it you know so you can see that feels like the same thing It's like building in public for filmmaking it's like every day you get to see what I've been up To if I've done an extra minute there it is bing bang bong great social media strategy daily Uploads like really really smart and again I can't wait to have her on a future session to pick her Brain about all of this and how she comes up with these ideas because she's like you mate she's an Educator you know she's on the road constantly doing workshops and talks and stuff so you'll Have a lot in common to talk to her about and making all of this stuff on the side as well it's Crazy how much yeah brilliant woman exactly caroline and if you know more females in the

1:00:57 Space that we need to have on our show please let us know you know we are all up for it we want to Have more 100 awesome so the next one mate is probably the most viral linkedin video that I Saw in my feed this week and there's a very specific reason why so the spider-man film Dropped and everyone's talking about it you know and this guy basically who's from karachi In pakistan said that karachi has never had a superhero of his own so basically he made one for Them I love it oh is it coming it may not be loaded up yet I'm skipping one paul's telling

1:01:48 Me I'm skipping one oh I I am skipping one and I'm going back to my show notes and I've just Spoiled the next video for you but um I'm gonna double back and uh realize that I've skipped one So this one I'm gonna I'm gonna mate you are going to love this track first of all right all right And I'm gonna sell you the premise so I saw this on x by someone who I want as a creator sessions In the future his name's ink that's his sort of handle is ink and you know the uh the spider verse Basically yeah this guy has created like a young batman spider-verse sort of universe okay and said Could be huge and he's edited it to a banging track he made it with mid-journey uh gpt2 c dance

The Adventures of Young Batman

1:02:38 2.5 and he just called it the adventures of young batman all right this needs the glasses Let's go yes mate let's go Get the fuck up Simon says, get the fuck up Throw your hands in the sky Wheezes in the back, sippin' yak Yo, what's up? Girls, rough on your titties Yeah, I said it, rough on your titties

1:03:24 New York City, witty, committee, pity The fool, that act shitty In the midst of the calm, the witty Y'all know the name sparrow Yeah yeah that's a great that's a great one the problem is is that he's gonna have to either get Ferrell months to give or whoever owns the publishing to get the to get that because That's one of the most popular hip-hop songs ever um the music as as lara said the music sets the Mood you know simon says is a classic you're already flooding in the ones I don't even know

1:04:13 If that really needs a poll that was epic mate you know what was really touching go with this One truthfully is that that song like you said is so famous so we had to run it through youtube to Make sure we weren't going to get a full copyright strike for putting that in this episode I was so Glad that paul said that we didn't or shouldn't probably have any issues with that because I was Like what a banger when I saw that I was like a I'm sold b the editing c the song it was so good And we're gonna hopefully like I said have this guy I met him briefly at upscale with blacklight Who's tuning in actually um so yeah I want to get ink onto this onto the uh onto the show along with

When fan art is this good, who owns it?

1:04:58 Blacklight the problem that you'll have is that if people if this goes crazy and people like it then He's gonna have to get warner or whoever if I can't remember if dc owns warner I think they do Because this is batman this is like one of the most popular regardless if it's a young batman or Not like you're you're you're gonna be like yeah you're gonna have to get a lot of permission to And and now with when I see stuff like this truthfully I'm like okay you know it's just Fan stuff that's like sort of sloppy and you know it's just trying to catch algorithms when I saw This I was like oh my god you know that is unbelievable a true creative a true fan an epic Thing yeah it's sort of watchable edited to a fire beat like it has every single element of a one to

1:05:48 Me, you know? So it's like, oh my God, this is so next level. But as you said, this will get more attention. I did think it'd get like, like almost a million views on X already this post Alone. So it's gonna catch the attention of people that have been involved in The copyright of this stuff. Absolutely. You know, it's, um, It's gonna lead to interesting time, but fan art is at a level where this mate, This is fan art now. Isn't that crazy? No one paid for this. A chord and put it out there on x for free it's just kind of wild I love it did he say what he Built it in um let me see if I've got any notes for that one yes mid journey gpt2 and c dance 2.5 So that is using the okay yeah yeah so mid-journey images and then yeah yeah I love how like it kept

1:06:41 The style you know it was yeah transfer and everything like this as well with oh man just Again how much of this is the model versus his post-production editing skills we'll have to ask Him when he's on the creative session you know yeah because it really does stand out but yeah As paul rightly said I had skipped one and that was the one that we skipped so I'm very glad that We went back to it and watched it because it was fire um but the next one is crazy as well Because it's another one you know it's not batman it's spider-man this time so yeah Spider-ban above karachi as I said karachi has never had a superhero so he made one let's check it Out

Spider-Man Above Karachi

1:08:01 My name is Peter Parker, and most people in this city know me as a filmmaker. But this story isn't about films. It started two years back with a spider bite. After that, everything changed. I started sensing danger before it really happens. The truth is, I never asked for any of this. But in this city, everyone ends up becoming something. So, I started training. Fell into garbage trucks, landed on cement bags, Made every mistake you can make. Since then, I'm Karachi's only Spider-Man.

1:08:47 I started saving this city from phone snatchers, from robbers Wow, wow, kept going And slowly people started talking about me The environment is very hard. The power is only a human. We are all AI.

1:09:41 Needed, I showed up. Some nights I come home wondering which version of me made it back. But every morning, this city wakes up fighting. Without a cape, without powers. So I figured, If they can do it, so can I. There's only one Spider-Man in this city. And right now, You're looking at it.

1:10:28 That's crazy that you can do that these days isn't it that is really really mental that that is Something that you can just post on LinkedIn now like that you made in a couple of weeks or whatever Truly the title card as mary pointed out or someone pointed out the title card transition At the beginning yeah it was really really nicely done as well like yeah oh the voting is now open For that one guys should always say uh what did you think one awesome two okay three not for me Amazing so we're able to make videos like that incredible one straight from me absolutely I think spider-man must be one of the hardest superheroes to do just because of the physics of The swinging and yeah because sometimes I'll see spider-man even not not so much the newer ones but

1:11:19 Like even the older ones the special effects and it's like wow that wasn't very good now looking at It where this was pretty spot on for for most of it what I was going to say was the only thing I Didn't like was there was no like conflict friction bad person but then at the end there was He's because I was thinking you need to end it on a oh this is like a bad person I need to say well I can watch episode two and he kind of brought it into the end so but yeah I thought it was really Really good I like that like that that was going viral everywhere you're saying well it was viral On my linkedin feed and I reposted it on linkedin today as well uh tagging the creator of course And yeah I just thought it was amazing you know like because and I'd see why it's going viral we

1:12:07 Of a big release when the odyssey stuff went out a lot of the odyssey stuff was going viral anything That was referencing that and now we're in the spider-man phase you know anything that's spider-man Related is doing well in algorithms right now and this was definitely one of the like more incredible Pieces and deserve the attention you know a lot of the stuff that gets millions of views it's a slot But this is like really really nicely put together like and I was like whoa that's awesome Awesome well last minutes uh to get your vote in if you're watching on LinkedIn we know you're about A minute or so behind what did you think of that piece one two or three obvious one from me the Effort and the output is unbelievable yeah like it's truly unbelievable that someone can go oh

1:12:56 I'll put your face on that and I'll do you as the bad guy you know with the eight arms the It's like his buddy's face no doubt or something yes we can be so fun and silly again you know And it is fan art it's not yeah exactly monetized it's not like derogatory it's not any of that Stuff it's just fun fan art true fans making fan art for films if anything it helps the marketing Of the film no doubt yeah yeah but again the problem that you have with especially spider-man Is because it's actually not owned by well it's not owned by disney which is what marvel falls Under it's actually sony oh right like even disney has has challenges with spider-man so

1:13:42 This is where it gets even more complicated but obviously just turn it out like that I don't think They'll say anything unless it gets really viral and then it'll be like well hold on a minute You can imagine it's coming in um but yeah I kind of like it you know you never know they could turn Us and that'll be cool well the next one is by someone who I think we should also have in the Creative session in the future because we've watched lots of his videos billy bowman he does A lot of crazy videos you know and um but one of the things like rory and others that he's really Known for is testing out new models now he made like over a 13 minute video a c dance 2.5 test Just testing ai performances and you know how realistic they look because this is the big thing

Billy Boman's Seedance 2.5 AI acting tests

1:14:31 Is how realistic is ai actors performances really you know so this is what he put through all of it Like it's all basic expressions and stuff like that and it's a whole load of clips we'll probably Show about five minutes of the overall 13 minute piece that billy's put out on linkedin but again If you want to watch all of them now the thing that really stood out to me mate the difference Between 2 and 2.5 is things look a lot less plasticky now things look a lot more human you Know in the 2.5 jump it's a lot less obvious that this is an ai human being and a lot more like oh That starts to look really realistic you know so just that's my note of what I've seen of this so Far but let's check out more of it who's the best little boy huh who's daddy's precious little man

1:15:31 Whoa whoa whoa man let's start putting down some boundaries here all right What the put me down nice and easy You can talk? And you can listen. Big day for both of us. Why? Have you never said anything before? Food was free. Rent was low. Why complicate a good situation? You let me call you Mr. Snuggers? That is between me and God.

1:16:16 I've seen you eat your own d**k, and I've seen you text your ex at two in the morning. We all got private habits. What the f**k, man? Now, since we're establishing boundaries, no more face kissing, no little sweaters, and I get the good chicken after six. Or what? I tell your mother who actually broke her lamp. Good boy. Good boy indeed. Oh, Lord, have mercy. Power here. Son of a bitch. I want to see the next one! I have to show you Something but it's much cozier in the dark right? Sure. I've been working on a

1:17:06 Little something. What is this? What? This. It's our product. This isn't a regular one. Paper, the good illegal stuff, and the filter. You want a fourth thing, go to a pharmacy. It tastes like candy. It does, right? Why does the paper taste like candy does? Because it's not paper. Or not just paper. It's this new mint-infused formula I've been working on. Based on my mom's recipe, actually. How many a day? 40 today. 400 in a month. We're gonna be rich off 40.

1:17:51 We're gonna be rich off mint! Yes! Oh, my God! Oh, man, not this again. Let's go back to the show, goddammit! And you, mate, are a fucking arsehole. Fair. Still need you to sign that. What is it? Permission to switch off dad's life support

1:18:40 You said he was improving I said he squeezed my hand That is improving It was the hand with the reflex damage Why order me a whiskey Drink waiting. You're still an asshole. I know. Ralph, the TV is doing the thing again. You know, the noisy bits. Come help, please. Oh, there you go, honey. That should do it. You ever order eggs at a diner at 3 in the morning? Yeah. See, I don't trust a man who says yeah that fast.

1:19:28 At three in the morning the cook's tired the waitress hates everybody and the grill ain't Been cleaned since nixon and somehow two perfectly fried eggs still arrive on the plate That's competence I can fix this just trust me no see that sentence right there that's what idiots say when the Fixing part was supposed to happen. I gave you one bag, one address, One man, and somehow You came back with no bag, the wrong man, And half a Toyota. The Mexicans changed the location. What was I supposed to do?

1:20:15 You think anybody eating those eggs gives a fuck About what went wrong in the kitchen? I can fix this, I promise! Exactly. That is indeed what's gonna happen. So here's what you're gonna do. You're gonna go back. You're gonna find my bag. And if anybody asks who sent you, Tell them it's the breakfast ship Coming to clean up their mess. Pretty impressive stuff. I like that a lot. I like the dog one was the best one. I like that one. A lot I just let billy know that in a group chat that we were live and he said he's actually got Hit by a producer screenwriter about turning the good boy into a real life action hybrid so

WARCRAFT III: Invasion of Kalimdor, Chapter One

1:23:22 Landfall and it's by benjamin bergnek and he's called curio craft productions so this is an ai Cinematic found fan film obviously adopting the world of warcraft 3 orc campaign and it's a strict Photolyristic 2016 hollywood aesthetic which means that it's shot on a bunch of different emulators Essentially and we know that it was made with nano banana cling 3.0 vo 3.1 c dance 2.0 11 labs For the voiceovers and even sooner for the soundtrack so a lot of different ai tools Used in this piece let's check it out

1:24:34 The sands of time have run out, son of Durotan.

1:25:30 Warchief, our ship was shattered in the Maelstrom. I knew it. Can we confirm our location? Is this Camendor? We traveled due west, as you instructed. This should be it. Has there been any sign of Hellscream or the other ships? No, Warchief. Not since we got separated. Prepare to move out. If our comrades did make it here, we should be able to find them. Don't forget your tiny hammer, War Chief.

1:26:34 Rise up, sons of the Horde. We survived the fury of the great sea. Our true destiny waits beyond these sands. March until we find water. Still no sign of hell screen. No word from the war song. May the spirits guide us to Grom.

1:27:19 And my faithful snowshoe. Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh Watch if the oasis be not far away

1:28:33 Defend yourself! War Chief! Snow Song.

1:29:20 Tiny hammer! Big enough to fry the bacon, man. You survived the storm. Old friend. Purple armor. You're from the Warsong. Yes, War Chief. Hellscream sent us to find you. But we are not the only ones who survived the Maelstrom.

1:30:17 For the Horde! Move! Nice outro music there if that was sooner generated that's really nice So the voting is now open on that one what did you think one awesome two okay three not for me I was looking at the comments going pure nostalgia on toast you know for those that are very familiar With this world this is probably awesome now for me as someone that's not familiar with this world

1:31:03 I knew runescape if this was a runescape type thing then I'd have definitely known the characters In the world a lot more uh but world of warcraft I never really played it so I'm not familiar with The world at all but those that I was saying it's pure nostalgia you know and it felt very real the Voices felt good um so again all of that context in mind you know what did you think of this one Mate yeah again I'm like you I don't know anything about world of warcraft but I was watching this Um thinking to myself this is probably the cleanest ai I've seen look out the quality it's like Unbelievable like if I was into this I'll be going nuts right now like this is just Yeah I don't know what is what are they using like what type of

1:31:51 Because this looks 4k like even better than 4k like what I mean we knew that it was cling and C dance and vo and the usual stuff they may have gone through topaz and not mentioned topaz and Stuff like that you know to get or just focused in on really getting very high fidelity visuals Of the characters you know it could be great um upres character sheets or something to get really High definition characters kareem who we're going to have on as a future creator session He gets this level of like incredible detail you know like where it looks everything looks 4k it's It's really cool look who's yeah for me have you seen you went into the chat thanks for mentioning My short film spider karate oh awesome thanks for joining us by the karate thank you so much

1:32:41 So much for joining us and yes amazing that that's going viral I saw in your original post That you said you originally posted on instagram and it went viral and then you brought it over to Linkedin and it went viral again awesome work man that was uh really really cool to see Incredible quality if you didn't see our feedback on that it was like wow you know it's incredible That you're able to put that together at that level of quality so yeah maybe we'll have you On as a future creator session you know um please keep submitting more work to us now that you're Aware of the show if this is the first time that you're watching us we've been doing this every Week for three years now andrew right like yeah pretty much like a long time now started off as a

1:33:28 Little live group uh thing chat that we started and then it you know graduated to us seeing Ever better stuff submitted to us and now we're at a level where I'm like oh my god this is Incredible it's truly awesome if you're still there how long did it take to make the yes by The Karachi how long would anything like that take yeah anything you're willing to share with us about The process or how long it took and others that are involved or anything like that would be Awesome to know thank you so much again for tuning in like I said finding us on the fly as well whilst We're live that's the cool part you didn't see this post live you're actually here with us live Really really cool so the next one in my list is um a magnificent original you know we had kavan

The Black Box, a Magnific Original

1:34:19 The kid on who is the magnificent original and his chronicles bone series was basically the first About a magnificent original so this is another magnificent original this one's called the black Box episode one and it's a debut and it's a 10 minute piece but I think again we're going to cut It down to roughly about five minutes of it that we show basically um it's by the Magnific internals team so with all of that let's check it out

1:35:07 They say there's a show tonight. At the box. Shh. Don't say that so loud. Hey, what's good, fellas?

1:36:00 I'm sorry. Did you win? Against the bag, yeah.

1:36:47 Poor bag. Probably had a family. I know. I heard you talking to Jayden yesterday. I know they suspended my treatment. You don't have to worry about that. That's what you always tell me. Kendrick, that's... No. Nia. You promised me you'd never go with them.

1:37:36 That was before they cut off your treatment. There has to be another way. We don't have anyone we can count on. We can count on them? The fight Buys us a week of treatment. If I survive the tournament, That's a whole month. But they say it's dangerous. It scares me. You're my sister. Exactly. And I don't want them hurting you because of me. What if something happens to you? Nothing's gonna happen to me. And who will come if I have a crisis in the middle of the night?

1:38:25 I know what it's like when there's nobody around, Kendrick. Don't put me through that again. I'll be back tonight. About time, brother. I thought you changed your mind. And missed that desperate look on your face? No way. Let's go before I change mine. Brother, in the black box, you make a lot of money.

1:39:11 Way more than you can imagine. I'm not doing it for money Then why are you getting into this? For Nia, for her treatment That's money too No, it's time, and she's running out of it Pretty damn cool huh so as I said that's a 10 minute video that we've only watched the first

1:39:59 Five minutes off there so good little cut there by paul to sort of get you if you're into that You can go watch it on the magnificent youtube as you'll see it it's uh you know original episode one The debut the black box so what did you think to that um one awesome two okay three not for me The polling is now open I really like it I write the color grading I like the acting I like the Voiceover what are your thoughts mate I thought it was brilliant if I'm being honest I really Liked it I like it showed the emotion I'm doing this for my sister the story's been told before This is something that I've been training I've been training this something happens which is Quite emotional and now I've got to go and enter something dangerous to save a loved one like that

1:40:48 Story has been told many many times before and it works and I was just like it was coming to the end And I was like I want to know what happens what's in this black box so what's so then I literally While it came to an end I just opened up a new tab just put on youtube and then I was about to Type in uh that the only thing I actually thought to myself but this is very very like like Like pedantic it doesn't look like it's got they've got american accents but it doesn't Look like it's based in america that's the only wise yeah no because if you look at the town that They're from the scene yeah it doesn't look like they're based in america looks like they're in Egypt or something but they've all got american accents that was the only thing I was like Didn't didn't quite but apart from that yeah I really like this what do you think yeah yeah I

1:41:34 Love the color grading and the shots and the character choices as you said the story has been Told a lot of times ie you know a fight needs to happen and the prize money is gonna save a loved One or saved you know it's to do something much bigger than get money it's like a story that's About x y and z but as you said I like quite like the pacing and it didn't feel too on the nose you Know ie it's gonna happen you know because what is the black box there is some curious nature to what Actually is and like you know all of that like so being named that way and the sort of pacing and Lead up knowing that we've cut it short there I thought that was a really nice first five minute Chunk that we watched and uh yeah I really liked it I literally I'm on youtube right now just gone

1:42:20 To it it's got 1.3 uh it's got 1300 views in a day episode one the debut saved there you go save Yeah watch later that's what we want on this show right we want people to see parts of things that Are much longer because that's what's being submitted to us a lot now is like 20 minute Episodes of stuff obviously with this show format we were only two hours live so we can't be live For four hours straight or anything like that we've got too many commitments and kids for stuff Like that unfortunately so we're going to always watch the first five minute chunk and hopefully Pass you off to watch the rest and that's you know what the show should be in this closing part um Getting into some of the longer parts although this next guy is um a great storyteller that Doesn't take you know 20 minutes to tell his stories or sell his worlds he's actually someone

The Kepler Expedition by Malik Afegbua

1:43:09 That we've watched quite a few of um and you'll probably recognize his style straight away his Name is malik f gubua I'm really terrible at pronouncing his name but this one is just called The kepler expedition and he makes short little stories like this this one's two minutes and 20 Check it out. Give me the ETA. How long until we enter Kepler? One hour, four minutes.

1:43:58 Scan the atmosphere. I want to know if we can walk out there. Composition is remarkably close to Earth. Oxygen well within tolerance. Trace elements unfamiliar but inert. The air is exceptionally pure. I would still recommend oxygen suits until we have longer sampling. But it is certainly not Earth. Roger, Captain. This is where we need to be. The lifeforms here are reacting differently from the ones we met out on the plane. Keep your eyes peeled guys

1:44:52 Captain wake up look we need to get him back to the ship Captain, Captain, wake up. Look at me. I am not sure we should be here any longer. His brain is running harder than mine is right now. Wherever he is, he is awake there. Malik, you are not supposed to be here. No one is. You have opened Pandora's box. Hey, look at me.

1:45:37 Look at me. Malik, look at me. His hand. What is he holding? How long was I out? Six hours. No. No, it was longer than that. Pretty crazy. Her yeah and uh we've seen a few of his films actually he's um I think he must be african And he's starring in his own film did you see by the way one of the shots in this early part Kind of looked like dave clark there he looks like dave clark from that exact angle there And I was like that's crazy but then his african accent comes out towards the end and you're like Okay I you know this is incredible though isn't it like this like sci-fi type like stuff and that

1:46:22 Looks so good now thanks you can tell that this guy's watched sci-fi films or these type of films Before just the way he's yeah the way it's shot the stories it tells like certain things you can Just tell um because he gets things spot on it's almost like he's taking this from this film this From that film and kind of just made his own one but yeah I like his storytelling here I feel like He's an uncanny type you know because uncanny puts out these short stories that are like this sort of Stuff and this is him just expanding his worlds into space stuff I should have said the voting Is now open um what did you think one awesome two okay three not for me for me that's really really Fun just like uncanny pieces you know when he's exploring a new world in a short story form he's

1:47:10 The main character um it's good law building as well you know if you're putting out on social Media that you star and like you're getting your face up it's a different way of doing personal Branding if you think about it rourke's doing this sort of stuff at the moment you know where His ai videos are him as an ai character in his videos he's posting so it's quite interesting Yeah yeah I've seen that yeah yeah it's quite interesting way to sort of get your sort of Branding out there and stuff is starring in your own movies and marco and others uh they're starring In their own films it's kind of wild you know what you know the interesting thing from permissions It's the rights isn't it you can sign off your own rights to star in your own movie because you are you What were you gonna say mate sorry oh no I was just gonna say I think that

Should AI LIVE add a 1.5 vote?

1:47:57 When it comes to the voting I think we might have to add a couple more because I've seen I look at This and I'm like this is not a two but I can't put it on the same levels of the ones that I've Put on so it's almost like it's probably something between that so that's what I look at 1.5 yeah Yeah yeah we might have to introduce that into future episodes have a 1.5 and then if we do give It a 1.5 maybe it comes with notes as to what could have bumped it up to one you know what was Slightly missing from that 1.5 as to what it you know if you're going to say like now compared to Why the other ones in the show what was missing from this from you do you think it's hard to know Isn't it yeah I don't know whether or not it's because it's sci-fi like I like sci-fi but I just

1:48:47 Like it I'm not like oh my god that was like I love sci-fi films and because when I was looking At the concepts I was like I've seen this before and us but I was thinking as smart that he's just Used different concept but it's very much I've seen it before and then we've watched some really Original shows like um um diane's one the one that she put out there and then the other one um What was the other one that I really liked the one with the with the tv banging the tv started Those ones I really like that the um original ideas and concepts and stuff yeah as you said The familiarity with this is it is a kind of familiar sort of like sci-fi type adventure thing Yeah still then again if I was into world warcraft I thought I think I would have thought that was

1:49:32 Would have been a great one right and that's what's going to happen is there's so much nostalgia Can be made for you know like runescape white world of warcraft like these og things that we All loved what do you think of this one I really liked it um but again I would be in the same Category as you I couldn't rank it a one amongst others that we've watched but I can't quite put My finger on why you know maybe is that ultimate familiarity with it not being an original story You know like um and it was just a fun piece to put out on social media maybe and we're judging Like it is hard when we put really good things you know we've got kike rodriguez lopez joining Us late thank you so much saying hey ai masters joining us in the chat um yeah we've got just a

When You Run From Your Mom by Edmond Yang

1:50:22 Few more videos left this week actually the next one is a bit of um a heart-throbbing one and it's Based on um some serious stuff so a short film based on my op-ed when you run from your mum by Edmund yang who is another person who I've met on my travels mate I met him in lisbon and again I Think he'd be really great to have on a creative session he did a talk right before me as well and This one's a much more personal piece obviously he makes stuff as well he actually does really Eclectic stuff but this one was also voiced by himself so it's the most personal piece that He's basically put out in recent times this isn't typical of the sort of work that we've known him

1:51:10 For but I I found it very very touching so let's check it out the fear of not being good enough The fear of sticking out the fear of being pointed out and like that the fear of being Myself. It is still very much present, but it was much worse before I got worse. They said I knew a lot of different people, people who would never otherwise get along with each Other in one room. They said I changed my personality depending on who I was speaking to, My attitude, my voice, Chinese, Norwegian, or English I was different in each

1:51:55 Like wearing a different mask for different situations Or maybe I believed in my horoscope too much As a Scorpio The Great Adapter The creature that could even survive a nuclear holocaust For a long time Being a multicultural felt shameful. Growing up as a Chinese in the suburbs of Oslo, I was tiny. Thin as a leaf that could almost blow away. And sometimes maybe I wanted to. And in class, I was afraid to raise my hand. I stuttered. They laughed. Eventually, I stopped raising my hand.

1:52:42 And sports? I also always picked last. Always. My mother has always been my hero. She came to Norway in the 80s, knowing nobody but my father and not speaking Norwegian. She left her whole family behind. And often I felt she sacrificed everything for me to live here for a better life. I used to lie to her about school, told her that I was with friends, but most of the time I was alone in the schoolyard. At home, we always watched Chinese TV. Business dramas full of vengeance, martial art epics, day-to-day soaps. I loved it.

1:53:28 But it also pulled me even further away from the Norwegian so-called norm. All through primary school, I remember a girl hit me on the head almost every day, shouting. And I got more and more unprovoked abuse. I started to hate the Chinese boy in me. Trying to deny and hide my identity. I created a mask, a Norwegian mask.

1:54:18 And that mask helped a little. Suddenly, I had a few friends. Get up with a mask. But she was still there hitting me every day. One day, I saw my mother carrying two heavy bags of groceries.

1:55:03 She stopped, saw me, and she smiled. About to call my name. But I ran. I didn't want her to speak to me in front of the others. I didn't want to expose my name. It would just shatter my mask. I hated it. I hated my name. Over the years, I got a very comprehensive collection of masks. With different masks, I felt I had different powers. Now, instead of fear, I see cultures. I see opportunities, other angles and perspectives I couldn't see before. I wish I could have told that boy, that little boy today, you'll be fine.

1:55:58 Now, I have no reason to run away from my mother anymore. Oh Great one to finish on you know caroline said it best one of my favorite things about ai we To hear stories we would never have heard before different cultures different cultures yes the Voting is now open we do have another video after this one but yeah as a closing like you know Serious thing this was really nice and really great storytelling as paul put into our whatsapp

1:56:49 Group you know I think you can really tell that this is a great storyteller and it was a very well Uh done piece and I think the music was great they went alongside it I'm glad he did the voice over And it wasn't an ai voiceover maybe he couldn't find an ai voice for his accent and telling it Truthfully you know and decide that it was him I have to ask him and chat afterwards I thought that Was brilliant straight ones from me um really really enjoyed it I love origami too I'm the Sucker for this style truthfully I've done lots of origami pieces in my mid-journey explorations And so I love the idea of using origami as well as the sort of characters and yes bravo as Says bravo great ones from the chat well done awesome stuff that's the type of thing so in

1:57:39 The uk there's a channel called channel four that's the type of um cartoon or piece that will Go on channel four and win awards you know that was the type but it was also it was interesting He said originally done in two out 2021 he said something right there so I don't know it'd be Interesting to see what that one looked like compared to this one well that was the meta puppet Wasn't it it's like a lot of people are revisiting projects now that c dance and others can do this Animation and style and storytelling again and again like many many years later so yes and you Know he was using his real voice there lara not an ai as we found out he's he did his voice over There himself as his own voice which I think really really helped this piece

Ranger Danger, a Lord of the Rings disco closer

1:58:29 Awesome awesome well the last thing that we are going to close out on and anybody that in Linkedin get your last votes in now oh I think the poll's already closed you're too out of time We've started a trend I think we started a trend mate last week we closed out with an absolute Banger didn't we we had that star wars absolute banger and uh yeah yeah that's that was Now paul said before the show he was like can you go and grab another banger now I did not have the Time to go and look for it like the base window one because that was truly like an absolute banger But I found something and it's called ranger danger and I found it on x posted by someone
