Why is it the Chris & Chris Show this week?
0:13 Hey we are back we've got no Andrew but we have Chris filling in last minute which is a legendary Return to the show um if you don't remember from last time he was on the show I think you were in An airport mate I'm pretty sure you're in the airport in the last show you did which is awesome Yeah I forget where I was going I was like spur of the moment trip that I had to go on and I was Like you don't let me call Chris and we did like about a three hour live stream yeah yeah we did Like a really long live stream and you you tuned in from the airport and I remember I put the code I'm pretty sure last time Andrew had a flight issue as well and I was like Chris is just tuning In from the airport like legend of the show just tuning in casual as it is yeah so much has happened Since then man we're in the vibe code craziness like the sas apocalypse the gaming apocalypse
1:03 Like everything is coming down on us it's mad the sas apocalypse is super super real and like I mean there's so many tools you can just now make it's like I mean I spent so much of my time Coding now like well not coding but vibe coding I just spend like my time I literally wake up every Skin in front of Grokbot and my claude and my chat tv and I'm just I'm just sitting here from Hours upon hours building things so you've been sending me all these examples they show me any Bloody tokens you're burning through and all this other stuff in the group sharing the updates If you're not following Chris on x I don't know where the hell you are because he's been just Putting these out like a madman but yeah go follow Chris on x um if you're not already it's crazy to See you know what's crazy is actually henry uh dubray who's a previous creator session guest
1:50 He's vibe coded a game for junkyard king as well which is very playable and he launched it into His own site junkyardking.io so if you go there now you're just in in the game launched on the Domain it's really cool I think lavis odin from uh foul also posted a game uh yes lovis is one of You know what's cool about lovis is lovis and henry used to work together and um we first Worked with them at coca-cola back in the early early days this was like oh wow 2021 me and lovis And henry all met and at that time lovis and henry working for a place called dog studio I think Um okay and now and now lovis is working at foul henry went and worked at google for a bit and now
2:36 He's doing his own thing but it's kind of crazy how life's moved on from there hey I see my buddy Chris dreary tuning in how's it going sf bay tuning in oakland in the house california's arrived Colchester in the house let's go let's go let's go people tuning in from all around the world as Usual I've never actually I've never actually streamed up here and I'm like oh it's not too Bad I gotta get me to get the alien out of here and like man it's looking good but it's not too Bad little stuff here I gotta I I'm actually I think this is a pretty good setup yeah even the Curvature in the wall you're making it work with the lights in the back and I like it yeah I like It I might actually shoot something here tonight now finally I feel confident now yeah man that's
3:22 Another thing that's changed as well right you've got a house you've got all this stuff I don't know How much you want to go into personal life no yeah no yeah it's good I mean ai is great I can't Like a year ago I was working a full-time job at budweiser cocahola budweiser I was working for Budweiser as a beer sales guy and like now I'm an ai creator I've been doing ai for five you know Five years now six no six years now like almost so like now it's like amazing and I can just do this And we get to hang out I got up on a call and this is our life this is our job it's awesome Big l in the house uh no Andrew california girl uh he's stuck in the airport again you know Andrew's Just constantly on flights all week every week I know we got Chris tuning in the absolute legend Coming in what would have been awesome is you and andrea and next time we'll make that work as well
4:12 Oh man good times good times I'll tell you what like you said it at the top of the show like the Amount of stuff we're doing now that like I never did any coding you know I had no reason to I even Worked in an agency that its entire output as Chris will know you know um Chris dreary tuning in Its entire output was building like ruby on rails games and stuff or gambling casino sites and stuff Now this type of stuff is so vibe codable it's unbelievable and opus is just blowing my mind When it comes to this stuff yeah you use them all right you use codex agent and all of them yeah I currently have two Coda, two Claude Max 20X memberships. I have my ChatGPT 200 membership.
How many AI subscriptions does a full-time AI creator run?
4:59 I have my GrokBot $200 membership. So it's becoming a very expensive per month thing. But I mean, the thing is, you can take so many ideas and turn them into physical things in such a short amount of time now. And that's why I need multiple things. I couldn't believe how little work I was getting done until these tools got to where they are almost today. Because I was messing around with Claude here and Codex there and Grok here. But they're all just kind of one-at-a-time projects. Now I'm simultaneously working on seven different projects. And I'm like, I thought I had enough screens. And I really realized now I need to double the amount of screens I have. And I'm working so fast. I'm building five projects at once.
5:45 Honestly if I had three more memberships and three and two more computers I could be building even More stuff at the same time I understand remember with the early days when people were hoarding mac Minis and they were trying to get open claw at the beginning of this year um yeah now I see why Though you know like yeah sub-agents and all of this other stuff that you want localized and you Want it running on your own hardware that's going to become a bigger and bigger thing in the future Isn't it and like for now I think we're all just like brainwashed almost by just how capable these New models are like to the point where me and Rory and people talk about like what's the future of Media gonna look like you know when you can do this stuff he actually sent me a really interesting Example that he's been working on have you been seeing his lord of the ring stuff uh no it's oh
6:32 Man well let me get up first the image that he sent me because he showed that this was all based Fascinating uh what's the best way to present this oh I can go to image file here we go Man it's fascinating I love to worry about this stuff but you're so right like now like you gotta See like what everyone was freaking out about almost seven months ago like yeah I mean it's Like yeah it's like at that time like it was such a I mean not the hard thing to set up but mentally For me I was like ah it seems a little too complicated I'm gonna keep it simple and now You're like oh man if I would have been doing this seven months ago I would have been so far ahead Right now and now I'm just trying to play catch up and learning all these intricate ways of using it
7:20 Like I now have called grok sorry grok about managing my entire business building dashboards For finances travel it's predicting what hotels I should stay at like I mean it's unbelievable It is unbelievable and when hermes agent and open claw came out at the top of the year like january Non-tech people were just a bit you know on the fence because of security issues as you said like So many people were having actual real major issues with this now what's happened is that Those guys have been employed by the ai companies to release things like you know dots and stuff from Yeah and muse and all of that yeah yeah fascinating anyway I've got Rory's project I haven't got the Image but this is um a lord of the rings thing he's been making with his daughter which is a
Rory Flynn's Lord of the Rings paper craft film
8:07 When Dave Clark made it with his son And now Rory's making it with his daughter. What a way to interact with your kids By making creative things like this. Hobbits. Small folk. Big feet. Bigger appetites. Not one of them fit for an adventure Save one. Bilbo Baggins. And a secret burning a hole in his pocket. That night he packed his bag And left the ring for young Frodo. Frodo, curious lad. Exactly the wrong sort to find a magic ring on his doorstep.
8:55 Years passed, as they do. Then the wizard came back. Wizards always come back. Never with good news. Samwise Gamgee. Gardener. Eavesdropper. Volunteer. So off they went. Two hobbits, one ring. And not the foggiest idea. One more step, and Sam would be the furthest from home he'd ever been.
9:45 Sam didn't trust bridges or rivers or anything wetter than a bath. It was all going rather well for about a mile. Merry and Pippin, cabbage thieves. Cousins, sadly. And now there were four, but beyond the Shire, something was hunting. Nine kings of men once. Now wraiths. And this one could smell it. Off he went, after a sack of Farmer Maggot's vegetables.
10:35 Merry's finest work. Hobbits can run, it turns out, given the proper encouragement. Meanwhile, Gandalf was learning a hard lesson about choosing your friends.
11:21 Brie. Soaked. Starving. Thoroughly miserable. The Prancing Pony. Finest ale in Brie. Only ale in Brie, mind you. And Pippin had just discovered something wonderful. But someone in the corner was watching. Strider, ranger, rogue. And as luck would have it the only friend they had left in the world
12:11 You see this is the crazy part to me right when he sends me this stuff it's like well that's cool It's like a paper craft a lord of the ring stuff but then to think that this was all a single mid Journey image that Astra created the entire thing for and then rigged it all up with an mcp and then And made it all with code, that's the bit that's just like, My brain is going like, oh, the possibilities, Like Chris says, you know, the brand integration possibilities. Like he did something for Starbucks With the pop-up papercraft type storytelling thing. This is now things that you could offer as a new service, A storytelling, completely new and novel, Code-based storytelling. I'm gonna have to talk to him about this Because I have a visual style that I like
Will all future video be made with code?
12:56 That is kind of similar to this that I've been developing And I'm like, someone said recently video models should be like kind of concerned because all future video probably will be code. And like, I didn't really understand that until like, I just saw what's happening now with, you know, this stuff. Cause like people are now doing a 3d animated videos on Instagram, like short content, kind of like Jack, Jack 3d films. But they're making it all a club and like the future of video. I honestly do believe it will be generated using code because now you have the malleability of modifying things after. Your twitter I mean the video models are going to get better obviously as well but as of now you Still have to waste so much money on these small micro changes and I think the fidelity is so much Higher now with this with code and I've been I've been building out um 3d animated like motion
13:43 Graphics similar to like you know product launch videos all using code and I'm not using Midjourney I'm Sorry I'm not using you know omni or I'm not using Seedance I'm just saying hey claude here's my Website make me an epic 3d motion graphics visual for as if I'm doing your product launch and then As if you're a 10x motion graphics designer. It works. Love it. I love it. I love the style. That was incredible. I see Avaron Studios in the house. Evening, guys. Gone in the house. Joshua, let's go, man. We'll see you in Miami, baby. Blacklight in the house as well. I owe a response to TV of tomorrow, it turns out, For an email invite. So sorry about that. My emails are being swamped at the moment. You gotta get a bot.
14:30 Emails bro you know what there's a lot of the new ones that aren't available in the uk yet Like I went to try open ii dots and it's not available in the uk yet I don't know I need to Check on that one that's some of them yeah I live and breathe by graphbot at this point and I don't Think I can even make a switch to dots because my life is so integrated now into grabbing eventually Yeah of course I probably can but as of now the grokbot is like my main everything right right And and let us know in the chat you know if you've come across your preferred agent of choice yet or If you're going the claude or the you know sub agents route uh jonathan from the door brothers Recently got me into really going hard in the terminal you know like the terminal side of Sub agents with claude is crazy and supernatural powers you know you can use these sort of like
Which AI agents are creators using to run their business?
15:20 Things and do things in tandem as you're saying like yeah I'm much more efficient with the tokens I have a I'll have to show you maybe next week the dashboard that I built because right now it Has all my finances on it so I'll build another version of it that's like a fake mock-up version Of what you can do yeah because honestly like I mean I've worked every single day non-stop this Entire week building out a personalized dashboard for my businesses using grokbot and I've never Been more organized and more on top of my business my entire life and I've really been at ht and it's Not like I'll go on tangents and you know what not my brain is a tangent so I need grokbot and Agents to help me organize my manicness to into like a cohesive stream of hey Chris this is what You do today being your own boss is hard to be like hey get up and do this for your day like I
16:08 Don't want to do anything but like that's part of that that's why I'm not a great businessman I'm a Good I'm a good creator but I don't know how to manage my business but grok can do that for me I noticed as soon as you mentioned it in the WhatsApp group earlier, The others had done exactly the same, you know, Assigned Grok bots to certain roles, like one's a marketing director, One's a CEO, and it all has to pass by that. You know, They're almost forming company structures with their agents exactly this same Way. Fascinating, isn't it? And, And it's weird that like the Seedance rollout made America last, But the LLM rollouts making America first again, you know, It's kind of going like we're not seeing it here in europe nearly as much the fiber coded dashboards And stuff yet anyway it will come in the next month I'm really curious to see what china has
16:53 Coming out because you know it's always this game of like we crush it for months and then all of a Sudden china's like here's an open source one on it yeah right but it's great for people like you Know as I start developing my business I'm running out of tokens so fast and I'm like I hate hitting A limit I hate hitting a token limit because when I wake up in the morning it's like oh it stopped Past six hours I ran out of tokens at 4am when I was asleep but now I can have my things running And these local models are help do that a lot well it's weird that we got the open source ones first In this case you know like open claw really was the beginning of the year January you know and Hermes agent was February too you know so it's only come to this point now where the bigger Companies are offering similar but more secured things maybe you know and that mattered for people
17:40 I think uh I certainly wasn't uh like Chris watching is someone that I would go to and say How would I locally get a mac mini and implement like hermes agent or you know something like that Because I don't know and if I know I know if I make one or two mistakes it could be Hugely costly mistakes you know like it's so funny you've got fast hours in here and sonder What's up sonder how are you hey let's go legends in the house I was gonna say you know what's A computer is to me right this might seem like a really big topic but when you first had a computer It was a black screen with green text and you put text in you got text out right now I'm interfacing Once again with a computer and it's broken it all down back to the bare bones and it's a black screen
18:28 With text and it's a red text color guy and a blue text color guy now it might be a different color But I'm now interfacing with the computer almost the way the way we started interfacing with Computer and evolution is now like a complete circle we've gone from these beautiful insane Uis and then it's like back to talking to text but now my way I now I'm no longer interfacing With the internet I mean you're interfacing with this terminal that then interfaces with Internet for you now and I think it's such an interesting development and how we've come now To this full circle moment of just talking back to text totally and I'm not using jev yet jimmy Because I haven't found use cases, but others are. And I think this decision engine tree thing has a place too. It's not an LLM. It's definitely a much more efficient picker of things, essentially.
19:19 I think that's what Jev and other breakthroughs are like this, aren't they? They're like optimization breakthroughs for decision-making. Yeah, I think it's like one of those things. It's like OpenClaw, right? OpenClaw came out. I was like, that's really cool. I'm gonna wait till it's a lot easier to use right yeah exactly I'm also gonna wait for us To integrate more into like what I need to right now like right now if I was like okay it's a god I gotta add jeff now too I can learn yeah exactly I'll wait for jeff to be like remixed into dots Or grokbot and it'll be integrated into my workflow because right now I mean it's just Like my workflow literally is grokbot for 99 of my day-to-day business management wow really and And then my content and my making games and stuff like that is all through Claude and Kodex.
20:05 Like I'm making things in those, but I'm organizing in Grok. And like, I barely look at anything but Twitter and Grokpot and Claude now. It's like, that's my only three. I have three happy screens and I love them. I love them. Blacklight saying how much energy you've got for first thing in the morning as well. Absolutely legend. Always brought you up with the energy, bro. You know me it's it's a never ending never any shame I I need to put myself to sleep some days I love it we've got a follow-up video now that Rory's tuning in absolutely legend following in Thank you so much man and uh yeah seriously sander as well serious people in the ai space here Thank you for sending this uh follow-up video I wanted to check this out just because yeah it's Great like it is crazy to think about this like we'll discuss it after we've watched it but let's
How the Lord of the Rings film was made: one image, Astra and Claude
21:02 Wow Isn't that wild like these are all the assets Oh yeah so we say everything was made with code started with one image any image Astra created The entire asset library in one shot one go which is what you're seeing here basically and all of The characters have been rigged for animation and then Claude animated everything using Magnific MCP for sound and narration. But it's just such a like meddling of new school tools to make new forms of media that Makes me like fascinated by that, you know, like that's incredible. Isn't it incredible? And Rory's always been a great tinkerer and moving on the edge of things. But we know that what's happening there is going to be in the space in the next few months
21:49 And it'll be much more widely used. But isn't that crazy yeah I know it's me I got that's exactly what I'm working on now is doing An animated like kind of short and like I was trying to figure out the best workflow for it Because I was using Seedance and using keyframes and I just felt like I was burning burning burning Tokens yeah burning like video credits and I'm like this is probably going to be the way I should Go about it yeah I say max we're going through it man we're looking at stuff max yeah blah blah blah Show some more clips what the heck I think he's used to the regular show where we're just firing Out clips all the time and uh I've got a lot less content I'm sorry I'm not Andrew I know I know Where's Andrew you know I'm I'm gonna take the blame for this because I'm usually so much more
22:35 Prepared for the show than this and I usually have like 20 odd things to show and I am trying To rapid fire through the stuff but this week I've only got about I think about 10 or 11 pieces Some of them are fairly long pieces and one is a horror short and some other stuff. So I want to get all of your guys' feedback on all of this. Let's do watch some stuff, though. This next one, I want you to work out where the AI is. And I want you to think about where it could have been used. Because it turns out this is actually a massive advertising campaign by a big agency with loads of people involved. I think some of them were Gen AI experts, but I can't be sure. Looking at lots of the scenes you're like Seedance 2.5 could totally do that man
Where is the AI in PlayStation's "Are You In or Out?"
23:22 Okay it's really exciting for playstation um by stink agency let's check it out Are you watching no like really watching Good Because it's time Time to run this city Risk it all on one move Get your hands dirty Do something that gets everyone talking Do something that changes everything Are you in or out
24:18 Whatever happens next happens here Wow okay really nice ad right first of all that's like the first playstation ad that's Actually made me want to play a video game like I haven't seen a video game I'm telling you man I was like, wow, that's a good video game ad. I saw that ad by the agency, and I know Zed Anwar and a few people that work at our agency, and I know he works in generative AI. And instantly I was like, did you work on this piece? And, you know, who was involved in AI and stuff? And I haven't been able to get some, you know, concrete answers on all of that yet. But there's a huge credit list. But this is the fascinating thing. I looked at so many of those scenes and thought, whoa, that could have been Seedance 2.5.
25:04 And you wouldn't really know blender between 3d between yeah see dance at this point like It all felt like the scenes I really thought I was just saying I was like the ones that really Could be it I'm gonna say this is like all you know we get conjecture but like the scene where It's like the statues turning their heads the scene where the building's tipping and then The one where they're in the museum I was like oh maybe that could be partially it with the background But I mean the fish with one eye as well that all swam up to the edge you know there were other Instances where you're like you know had a really good gen ai director done that I think they could Have pulled that off but I don't know again where it actually was used and what was traditional and What was not but the hybrid's going to become weird spot in it isn't it's like was that ai was It not ai we're never going to be quite sure now I saw I saw um the higgs field hellgrind film in
25:54 Uh may and there was many moments in the beginning of the film where I was like wow like they did a Really cool like mixed media thing here like it's so crazy like it looks so good it's like real and Fake and then I was like wait a second that's that's all Seedance damn it yeah I like I was Actually like that is real I I was I could have sworn the back I I hand to the bible like that Was a real video and but as you're watching like oh my gosh like this is ai and I I couldn't believe It I thought it was incredible also have you have you shown the fallout thing I did yet I don't know No, we should send that to me as we're watching the next few bits and I'll download it. Are we going to get hit with a copyright strike on YouTube for that? Because we're live and last week we got hit offline because of a piece I played.
26:42 Oh, what piece did you play? It was a Snoop Dogg music video. Oh, that's right. No, there's no copyrighted music. It's a narration over. All right. Okay, cool. Three minutes. We don't have to do the whole three minutes. Let's do it then. It uh jimmy's saying by the way you know zed is one of the top people and other game so it is Every chance you know that he and others that work at stink could have been involved in that Also megan who's one of the Midjourney mods says that mid journeys opened up mcp applications So yeah news there big news I'm not sure if I'm important enough to get access but I might I'll I'll try to I'll try to well megan's a mod so hopefully recommend us megan give us the uh
Midjourney opens up MCP apps
27:27 Duncan is great at uh mid-journey duncan I figured his last name wilson I think it is Um very very nice gentleman I met hey we got marco joining in legend of the show suggested Many of the things we're going to watch today bran as well joining in now as well Good lads good see you good to see you whilst you get that loaded up Chris I've got some other Stuff I want to show you oh my god so this thing is only a six second clip and you just talked About mixed media and stuff right yeah I'm seeing rumors that this was maybe a gauzy and splat but It could have been ai as well that was used between real camera footage in a formula one thing I showed This to sanders who's watching did you see that the it was big on x you know this this clip here
28:12 Yeah soft ties onto the medium ah showing off yeah just like crazy isn't it showing off yeah Like it's so good but it's it sparked a debate I saw like over you know when you're watching real Sports what frames should be allowable you know if they're not real frames from the car and stuff And gen ai is being used to fill in the gaps should that be allowable in like live sports I think if it's live sports, like, yeah, I want to see something cool and action-y, right? But, like, if I'm doing an instant replay and I'm looking for hard data on a play, Or if I'm looking for a violation, I don't think we should be using the blended motion parts of the clip. You know what I mean? I agree, yeah. But if we're doing it for simply entertainment purposes,
28:59 You know, they're doing it, I think, also in the NBA, like, for certain tricks, Like, when they do a six-shot, they do this motion, it's like, whoop, And the camera moves, and I'm not going, Oh, my God, it's taking me out of the game. I can't know what's real anymore. Really cool explanation of what just happened right right that's so true and I think that Context really matters I think where people are going to get really offended and start to get Angry is when you know claude is doing all the social media clips that are posted afterwards And you know lots of jobs there uh but that feels like an inevitability at this point doesn't it Honestly that like claude and other tools are just going to be able to create the perfectly optimized Social media clips from your content that you're capturing I mean I don't think most people enjoy Clipping you know I mean like right right you want to make money clipping like I like looking
29:49 At all these live streamers that people doing clipping yeah you might do it because you're Also interested in the content but I would say a general majority of people that are currently Clipping are doing it for the financial benefit and yes I mean and if you're doing a sports channel It's out like say you're running a f1 channel you know you don't really want to spend the time You want to spend time talking about this to get the sport so like for you like it to me it would Be a great helpful for me like hey let me have claude watch this game while the match while I'm Watching and as it finds great clips I'll be hey claude snatch that clip get me the clip and I can Start doing my little writing part on the side but I don't have to now physically engage with the Act of clipping and hopefully the people doing that in-house as social media editors just get You know other roles that are more interesting because as you say clipping is a very sort of
30:34 Automatable process and not that enjoyable as a creative endeavor anyway so hopefully they'll be Given other creative endeavors you know I think some people might look at it in two ways right It could be oh it's either you can look at it as you're getting more work or you're getting more Control over your work and I think if you look at it that way like hey like if I'm working in an Agency and I'm managing a social media thing for f1 like I kind of for me personally I like being The hands on everything I like doing all the things because I I have more control over the It and if you had you know now yes it will take more work but at least at the end of the day now It's my hands fully on the that entire workflow that's my clip versus seven people touching Something I think um shout out to fast hours Rory and Drew um I think yeah uh they've been having
Ingi Erlingsson's Listen: where should creators stay hands-on?
31:22 Very similar conversations as well you know and someone they actually had on as a guest that I'm Going to give another shout out to Ingi I really love Ingi's workflows and the things that he's Sort of willing to have vibe coded and the things he's willing to stay as Creative and stuff. Have you ever seen his stuff? I'll show you an example. God, I'm a sucker for a good collage. I love collages. I tell you, I love his short clips. I love his whole style. And the way that he talked about it on the fast hours podcast is about node Like this you know and he uses sort of tools and stuff like that but he's willing to have certain
32:08 Nodes vibe coded and others he wants to be very meticulous about you know staying creative and Adding new and human-based stuff it was just fascinating that everyone's coming to the same Conclusion is you know where do I want to stay uh in the creative process and use the ai for Other parts of it and stuff yeah absolutely it's like finding out where to use it for like it's Is like building the games I've been building. Of course, the ones that we're going to show today, It's fully AI generated. Everything's done by AI. I didn't write a single line of code. But what I did was I allowed it to make me a world And then I go, oh, let's put this in that. Now let's put this here. And then you start now fine-tuning the piece Into what you actually want it to be. But that general idea is generated And I can now take it and make it into my own And craft it. It's like, yeah, I can basically generate a marble block,
Gods Don't Give Gifts trailer by Gossip Goblin
32:56 But then all the little prompts I do after Put away until it's a piece of art right makes total sense now seen you've sent me the link um So I'm going to download that as we watch our next piece and this piece you might be uh very familiar With because zach has been on the show and uh gossip goblins theater run is about to start And so we've seen this gods don't give gifts trailer of appearing everywhere sort of at the Moment it's it's kind of mental so anyone that hasn't seen it yeah yeah and if you haven't seen Patch right on youtube you need to go on youtube after the show and watch patch right from gossip Goblin it is really cool sorry if I can curse I'm sorry uh he's taking it down I don't want to
33:41 Burst your bottle he's taking it down no it's part of this new feature film no if you missed it Do you know the reason I know this and this is really funny to admit this but so many people Comment on our show that we had him on this is the only way I can watch patch right now because He's taken it down from his channel uh so we had him on and we watched it in three parts and um Yeah he's since taken it down because apparently it's part of the larger premiere of his film so It's all being rolled into one I wondered about that you know one I asked him straight away like I hope there's no reason that you've had to take these down yeah and he said no you know so yeah Random random tidbit live news looks like epic games wants to talk to me oh that is seriously

34:31 Cool that must have triggered hey so see listen everybody you have to just post stuff I didn't Think that I can't with Chris I can't talk about this email after that that's that's wild man Congrats yeah yeah live breaking news you had it here first but yeah let's watch the Uh gods don't give gifts official trailer There will be no limit.
35:22 Strong minds can outlive weak bodies. With the right augments, the human mind can absorb centuries of experience. Without degradation. What's a life worth when we sever the body from the soul?
36:11 What is life worth? And soon, the deathless will envy the dead. That's it's so sick it's so cool and he's doing a london version now as well so I'm really happy That he's doing a london uh theater opening for this because I'm going to definitely go along to I'd love to join hopefully maybe maybe I'll try to get out there I need to get to the uk still I
36:57 Know I gotta talk to justin I was just talking to justin from wonder studios about 30 minutes ago Showing showing him the secret project that showed you that's releasing later today so I was like Yeah I was showing him um but I want to see I'm seeing uh so I'm seeing um zach I think in a week And a half at uh lumara two weeks two and a half weeks from now at the lumero oh yeah he's a judge Isn't he uh with blacklight and others yeah that's so cool marco's going along to that one as well Yeah yeah very cool I can't wait to see everybody yeah marco was uh telling me he's trying to get His wife and ester visa because she's never been to the states before and she wasn't getting it in Time but he's definitely going to show up yeah marco shoot me a uh shoot me a message on linkedin Or x at Chris first uh let's get together while you're when you're in new york oh yeah man I'm
37:42 Not sure I'm gonna make that one but uh yeah I really wanted to I really wanted to I had so many Cool judges there's so many so many cool events to go to and like I want to go to them all but Then every time I go like as of recently you know me I love going to events I love going I love Hanging out everybody but recently I really enjoyed just sitting at home and like sitting By myself and working on my computer in my studio I got my my whole little studio here so like I'm Like everything's set up here like the set eight screens on the desk but um I like sitting at home So like it's hard like to go away because you and me we have so much stuff to do and like to travel To new york and back and you know it's a lot it is a lot mate but like I think the good events Always tempt us to go like and we will eventually come around to these other ones and this one I
38:29 Saw actually was probably the most like awesome in terms of its judges selection you know yes Being the experts in the industry I was like wow that really is who you aren't judging your stuff You know like for real that's exactly and I haven't seen that very often but um let's watch Your fallout piece man um okay yeah this is this is new york huh yes all made with cord Opus 5.5 All made with claude Opus 5.5 all using Three.js it runs in browser it's 20 megabytes in entire file And um I listen I love fallout this is not a this is not a fallout game it's fun I just wanted to Make it everyone hated on me to stand at me online about it um I love fault I know fault the lord Says new york is trash trust me I know the lord people I know it but just just we're just having
New Rad City: a Fallout-style New York built with Claude Opus 5.5

41:45 All made using claude Opus 5.5 I forgot there was a copyrighted song in there sorry that is crazy to be under 20 megabytes using Sound as code making all of those environments so we are in a new age for all this stuff and It's weird that world models are clashing with this type of like coding of worlds isn't it like That feels like the natural next extension is world models are coming I think I think this is Like a turning point in gaming because for so long like I've been tired of playing video games like
42:32 I bought an xbox series x three months ago for gca6 so I was like I need to get it now god forbid And I have not found a single game I truly truly wanted to have fun playing and I had fun playing This game and I'm not saying it's a perfect gaming experience like I'm not saying the storyline is Good but I had fun I had fun that's all that I cared about I was having fun playing the game I'm actually getting called justin hackney I'm on I'm on I'm on live don't call me justin Um my thing is gonna allow people to make these games so fast I don't know if you saw a hood Warfare have you seen this no okay so hood warfare is basically like call of duty but it's made Based around like localized you know gang crime in like chicago and cities like this bloods versus
43:21 Crypts and it's all vibe coded and now it's like one of the biggest streaming games out right now People are all playing this game on stream like streamers are all playing this game now um but I Think it's going to give power to people to make these small fun interactable moments where they Cost $5.99 or free you play the game for a month and a half you just have fun with your friends And it's a moment kind of like the chameleon game that was like everything super viral or Prop hunt and all these things they're like kind of moments in gaming and I think with this like It really like will give power to people to make stories that are like and things that I've always Dreamed of bringing to life but the next stage is the world models and I'm hearing a lot of Whispers a lot a lot of whispers around around world models and companies like you know big
Will GTA 6 be the last game made without AI?
44:08 Bite dance and google so I'm waiting oh yeah I'm waiting to see man it's gonna be crazy I tuned Into the wonder studios thing where they were doing the foul live stuff and you know that real Time generation plus your like cloud vibe code and games plus world models it's all coming to a head At this gta6 launch and it's crazy isn't it this year this will be the last game ever made that's Not using ai basically it'll be the last game that is and I'm not saying this in a bad way But that's unadulterated by ai in the game it'll be the last game made by humans and that's what Andrew says as well and he even thought that the delay might have been to try and get that in last Minute to make it last longer no I heard that they're probably not gonna do that zero zero ai
44:54 The game completely but yeah real-time models yep the world models as well 85 of what you saw of that Game was one prompt man that's so wild to think about and like I wonder when we'll be like uh The place that hosts these you know like imagine the only mini club game yeah maybe maybe they'll Just be like an online portal or an online like you know collection of places you know you know It moves too fast I think I think the internet is moving so fast I think websites are some Some massive I think websites are dead like I'm no longer I no longer interface with the Web except for through socials and through my garage so social is going to be where it
45:40 Proliferates and gets all of the mass onboarding of all I guess short-term retention it's going to Be the hood warfare game that game will be big for the next two months maybe the next month Until or until as soon as something really l6 comes out because that has now broken the seal On vibe coded games by quoting games now are a game that people are playing I mean like tons of People are streaming this game now like it's the seal's broken you can make a vibe voted game right Now and go around I mean I had 20 000 people play that game 25 000 people play the game in almost 40 Hours over one weekend that fall that's wild man like that's wild and just to think that you just Put that through x and all of them found it through dare as well that's the even more wild Part to me imagine if someone had launched it in their game store or you know it could have become
46:27 Millions of overnight hits yeah yeah if I was on steam it would have had a million people playing That game even though exactly like shit and it runs like shit no one cares they just want to Have fun they want to to me this isn't me just taking a peek inside of the world that bethesda I'm just taking a little taste a little early because I'm a little, I'm glad in this. I'm sorry. I'm glad in this. I want, I want all the games. I want them now. It's fun. Well, Let's get through some of the other stuff that you guys have submitted to Us. Thank you so much. You guys that submit to us every single week. We love it. As I said, I haven't had as much time to go through all of the stuff. So if you see your stuff in the next coming weeks that submitted in Previous weeks, You know, Don't worry. It's still with playing catch up. This one though was submitted to us.
47:12 In the ad creative space um just called the man with all of the gifts someone asked earlier by The way I think it was uh ganesh where can we watch old versions of the live show we had claude Build us a new website so it's just theailiveshow.com it's so nice it's like a tornado carousel You can see it all it's really easy um so that's where to watch them all also you can submit there As well so the submit button is all through this website all vibe coded Chris I just want to Interject one thing real quick brand set sure people can viable games but 6 500 credits is Going to be tough tough to for most so now listen the game I didn't have a claude max membership The 6 500 is the total cost of api usage that it would be required if I didn't have
What does it cost to vibe code a game with Claude?
48:01 Claude Max because all Claude Max memberships are subsidized. So I ran my Claude membership for two weeks, Basically five days total straight using Opus 5.5. I think it was on Medium. And that basically allowed me to get one week's worth of usage out. And then I had a reset, which Claude doesn't give many resets, But I used one of the resets to give me the extra bandwidth for the secondary week. And I basically ran Claude for five days, And it only cost me the $200 a month membership. Now, yes, it says $6,500, but that's if I'm just using raw API. And the unfortunate part is you can't really get multiple Claudes and combine them. You can. It's a little bit more complicated. But as of now, I use my one cloud membership. But no problem, Brad. Sorry, I just wanted to make sure that was so people don't go.
48:48 Yeah, no, cheers for clearing that up. Yeah, it makes so much sense. Yeah, Justin's saying that like Uber paid $20 a customer, And Anthropic is paying a huge amount to have these customers essentially having. Costs would be more than what you're paying for the max membership by a long long time you get Ten thousand dollars a month in actual api usage that's wild so it's subsidizing yeah just to keep You on board but yeah is that sustainable model in the future but yeah the man with all the gifts Let's check it out rocco cristobal giga chato never spoke a word because he never needed anything He has insertably good genes, a well-defined body and the face of an angel. He's gentle, charming. His welcoming nature made him friends with the right people.
The Man With All The Gifts, Nilio Oak Spirit beer ad
49:35 He's always the centre of attention and a man of many talents. A man with all the gifts. Unlike you. You have a shit job, a shit car, a shit dentist. Your mum makes everything about her. His own shoes and you have erectile dysfunction it's okay you have every right in the world to Drink a Nilio oak spirit it's a fine beer from slovakia that went in all sorts of directions That was a great commercial from start to finish so there you go the poll someone asked about the Polling earlier Paul is not in the background so usually Paul would be running the show as the
50:24 Launching the stuff so the poll is open I just managed to get it up what did you think guys one You loved that two you thought it was okay and three not my cup of tea that's the most british Poll we've had in a while um I loved it and I so luma.com forward slash The AI Live Show go sign Up to the newsletter and we'll give all the credits to everything I haven't got my producer Notes because Paul hasn't been able to help me out it was submitted to us through our um uh it's in All be in that newsletter tomorrow getting lots of ones coming in for that like straight away One one one one one one one one I thought the misdirection was genius it was so like I thought It was about erectile dysfunctional pills and then I thought it was about this and it was a
51:09 Beer commercial the whole time the shift the shift from like this funny little thing to like Your life sucks this sucks I'm like oh man oh and then the teeth get the guy I was like oh yeah yeah Thing is the beer was cooler the beer looked I wish the beer bottle was cooler looking right Yeah yeah that's true actually you could have maybe done something with ai to make the beer Shake up and explode or you know something like how creative you hire somebody it's like hey hire That guy to do your bottle of the beer like that guy that guy or girl just did such an amazing ad Like whatever they did they need to bring that energy to your beard bottle you know I saw that As a linkedin post too and the guy who made it basically I forget his name but well as I said
51:56 Remember in the newsletter I'll let you guys know he said basically he pitched that idea and because It was you know a slovakian or whatever it was beer company they were like sure but he pitched That other idea to many other companies that just said no way we're never going to make that you Know so good on that beer company for taking that risk and you know believing in that I miss good Beer ads there's not there's no good beer ads anymore man I miss the funny ones too you know Like I miss the days when they were heineken had some great ones yeah those seconds those Seconds was amazing like yeah but but but light I mean like I mean honestly I want cigarette ads Too I think you just have such I mean like listen like we know it's bad just say hey we know it's Bad here's a cool ad yay cool we get it you know I just want to see cool ads well I love that the
52:47 Got straight ones I'm going to close that down and that's the only ad that we've been submitted This week sadly you usually get loads of spec ads and regular ads but it seems like a lot more People are just into making short films at the moment or concepts for things actually there was Another thing which sort of is an in-between category and this one was made with adobe firefly Which was pretty unbelievable um by and I do know that this one was by dinder proseto if I'm Pronouncing that right. And I believe it's called the invasion and we know it's made with Adobe Firefly, but Adobe firefly includes lots of tools now, like cleaning And things like this. So, um, let's check it out.
TENZIN, made with Adobe Firefly
53:49 So, run! Focus on your purpose. Dorja's voice, focus on your purpose.
55:08 Tenzin made with Adobe Firefly so let's put a poll up for that one as well what did you guys think Uh one you thought that was great two okay three not really your thing what do you I love adobe I Wish that ui is better on firefly it's such a good there's so many it's it's just like every Other aggregator it's just it's just not it's not marketed enough people need to know more about Firefly totally totally and like uh I think the thing that people thought that you know adobe Firefly is just firefly is wrong you know like the idea of it being boards and being other things Now and it is a wider aggregator of tools yeah but yeah I think what's going to happen now is People are going to make things with all sorts of tools we're not going to know really it just Depends on how you've got your things together you know americans are going to have certain things
55:54 Before us and then other things are going to come to you last and it's a really weird mix of things That we're going to get in all sorts of places in the world I think the one real way for them to Work it out is by making it integrated with like tools like claude and stuff where you just like Talk to your I mean I know a lot of people are doing that now I use the Adobe plugin with my Chat all the time but like for really deep editing I'm really interested to see what they end up Coming up with in that terms MCPs CLIs these are all the terms that people will come a lot more Familiar with in the next coming months everyone MCPs came out I was like why would I ever use that I was like I like working I like working the old-fashioned way with my hands and like And I'm like I don't do any of that anymore I'm like oh give me more mcps more mcps It's fascinating isn't it I think we've all come around and yeah I think we're all going to be
56:45 Vibe coding game developers and all the things that we want to be I I see that as coming as a Natural extension honestly I'm going to kill the poll for that one uh not as popular that one Obviously um mixed opinions on that one uh but here's the thing is when henry sends me a new Junkyard king episode now the game can have an extra level you know and it makes total sense To the new episode the new characters you see the new environments you see it's like those exact Same assets can be now coded into a game level as well to make the world build bigger and especially To have 3d animated projects absolutely like and now the stories can progress evenly at the same Imagine watching like house of cards then also like being able to unlock that thing as the next Episode comes out like it's like oh it's like oh now I can explore that part of the level and
Will every film and series launch with a playable world?
57:33 This part of the world this feels like what nfts always should have been yeah you know the net you You know when when nfts were sold to me uh an explanation I was given was like say you bought A glastonbury ticket well you can buy an nft version of the glass from your ticket that can Be a tokenized value thing that has accrued value over time and you could maybe even sell it for More in the future this sort of like tokenized media creation is the same thing isn't it it's Like you're adding more and more assets to the and always with nfts it was never about the nft It was about the thing it unlocked and the future of the club you know the board ape clubs was a Great example of that yeah it was the club it got you into and the things you could do within that Club and it was always about the roadmap and it was never about the actual item and so that's what
58:19 Feel like it's gonna happen I have only owned one nft in my life and it was a local bar in my On long island and they but it was it was genius it was nft it was a digital token called the tiki Token and it gave you unlimited access to this bar because you used to have cover charges the line Would be down the block you paid like 300 bucks you paid no cover for the rest of your life and You got to um cut the line I was like this is great and you got they had like a free party Like once a year for it but then the day they launched it is when crypto crashed so like oh My god so I remember these tokens for like no money and then they like shut the whole thing Down and they kind of kind of rug pulled us but I thought the concept of a digital ticket was the First the fairest valuation of what this was like oh it's a digital ticket I like that concept having
59:08 A digital ticket that allows me to do these things and I can move it to my friend so if my friend Wants to go somewhere he has access with it and it's proof of ownership and it's like proof of Attendance you know the that's what glass and be was sold to me you know like it's a cool thing That you attended but there's no real proof you know but if you're if your ticket came with an Nft to prove that you were there and it had blockchain you know proof of that then it is Somewhat valuable in the future but again who's rebuying that thing um only if it comes with a Roadmap where they could unlock themselves to go to glastonbury in the future and there was a future Amount of you know a finite amount of tickets or something like that as you said like a digital Ticket makes sense but yeah I could see things now being packaged up as all sorts so when a series
59:54 Comes out or a film comes out you'll expect a game you'll expect a world model you'll expect This and that to be launched alongside it for part of the marketing but also part of the law You know the world building itself I think also I think the way I think the real the real method Of it all is like kind of like fortnite and what they're doing right like they're building a Metaverse of these this world with all these skins but okay now I want to take that skin to somewhere Else now with these new models and these new worlds being built how do I transfer these Ownerships across all the experiences I've been playing so I think eventually you'd have almost Like a tokenized version of your skins so if I'm playing fortnite or if I'm playing in this other Game that skin can now trans translate across any game I'm playing yeah exchangeable yeah
1:00:40 The game blending everything's going in the blender everything's going in the blender Doesn't matter minecraft and star wars here you go here's a minecraft I still don't understand how That actually works I see it and I still don't really understand what's going on everyone that This chat if you you might be smarter than I this is a very generalized explanation that I was given The generalization is there's two functions to a game right it's you playing and the world around You and it can take actions that you do as your character and the things they do and the way they Affect that world and can also translate that into the other game so it's almost analyzing both Methods of the games like two different aspects and blending those assets together it's very hard But it's basically at analyzing those two pieces of world interactions and then blending them
1:01:29 Very very mind-boggling I need to do like a deep dive the guy that's made that modern warfare 2 If you want maybe I'll try to get him on here he's the guy that was doing the um call of duty Skate videos he created using one of the first people doing that he's he said he's dropping a uh A deep dive on that so when that comes out I'll hopefully we'll have that on the show one time When it's uh when it's out man that's fascinating isn't it I like this mixture of things like games As you said earlier it just all breaks down to code including motion including video including Everything that we didn't it's just ones and zeros at the end of the day and a computer can Translate this in crazy ways and yeah we're going to see all sorts of stuff like when Rory first Sent me the examples and he said by the way this isn't made with like remotion or any of the
1:02:17 Integrations that claude needed for this previously this is all javascript and html I was like bro What in the earth is going on? The Flash games are back. And the Flash games are now 3JS and HTML. And that's the new Flash game website. And there's no game website yet. But I think it's, everybody wants to make a website that hosts things. It's kind of like movie aggregators now. It's like, that's down anybody. It doesn't have to put anybody down. It's like Escape, Shake, all these other companies that try to have these films on their platform. But the people that are making these things are the ones that are bringing in the people. We all have the audiences we all have the things ready these people want these audiences so I think All these people are going to be like oh I have a game website that has your game on it it's like Yeah well everyone's playing my game already anyway you know what I mean so I think I think
1:03:06 Aggregators are mostly like pointless as well at this point other than maybe for navigation purposes But I mean you could if you look up on I think they'll collect together certain audiences you Know I think that's their purpose is that they will like get together extra separate audiences But as you say like things just proliferate through social media at such a speed now that Anyone that's not got the attention of a social media major platform to compete with that attention Um yeah so yeah they'll always be sort of offshoot by products as opposed to the main Draw or whatever but anyway this next piece uh let's rattle through some more thank you so much Again for everyone submitting um this one I know is created by June June Hyo her and the piece is Called able I think actually marco who's watching uh suggested this piece so let's check it out and
ABEL by Junho Her
1:03:56 Give you the live poll reactions Why does he always ask for bread mom his parents died in last year's drought I help his family when I can.
1:04:53 Good girl. Oh, my God.
1:05:59 Good girl. You drink first. I'll have some after. Arbel. Arbel! What? You're alive! Why? Why? All right. I won't go any further.
1:06:47 Oh, no. I'm sorry.
1:07:55 Thank you, Arbel. Oh yeah that was made for utopia ai um really interesting
Why music decides whether an AI film lands
1:08:44 Did you guys think of that one let's put a poll up for that one one you thought that was awesome two You thought that was okay three that one wasn't really for you um what do you think again if If you're watching this don't be offended because uh thank you so much for submitting to the show You should know the premise of the show you know we do this public round of voting and stuff I Really really liked it I think there was a few things that could tweak it to make it into a one For me at the moment it's just sitting at a two with some slight tweaks would make it all on I Style to me like you know pixar it's so messed up how like it's actually really sad like how Pixar style has been re-repurposed using ai and has now become synonymous with ai visuals just Because of how everyone knew that style they made memes out of it but like seeing that style to me
1:09:32 Is such a beautiful art style I love that I love that type of uh art style and I yeah it reminds Me of a kid being in vacation bible school I was like I was a cat I was raised catholic and as a This little church camp thing over the summer which is fun it wasn't like a weird crazy church Can't worry don't worry people I'm not crazy but uh it was um it was really fun they had these Beautiful little short films like this and I was like oh it reminds me of being a kid I love I Actually really loved it and music yes dad dad guy I I agree 100 at the end when it was fading to Black the first thing I thought was wow music is such a huge part of the storytelling uh it's very It's one of the it's still actually I think one of the hardest parts of making ai content in films Because you know you know you we don't really have a conductor yet like it's all I mean lyria you can
1:10:22 Maybe you can get pretty fine-tuned with but the sounds are not as emotional soon as more emotional But still not much control over the the rising and the timing of every little finite detail So music is such a major part of that mate we're saying that every week so Andrew would be proud Your mouth uh we're always every single week saying how much the music and the audio uh actually Matters and changes the whole feeling and tone of something and whether or not you give it a one or A two you know fundamentally these are the category shifters whether you cry or you don't cry it's Like exactly I mean whether you were emotionally drawn in or emotionally vacant you know like that Can all happen with the audio I I have no shame in saying this but there's many times I'm watching
1:11:08 A movie and like the music just is like smiling like oh no no I don't want to I don't want to cry Right now like don't do that to me telling you man in fact actually the last week's episode there Was few outro songs that got me right on the edge you know right on the edge where I'm having to come Back live and I'm like having to hold back the tears and that's the bit that gets me is like the Outro credits with the deep meaning meaningful message I also like how you um uh last votes Coming in for those on linkedin I know there's a minute of delay so get your last votes in and I'll close down the poll I love the analogy you gave though with the uh the christian camp stuff Because it is a parable you know and those types of stories are kind of religious you know they Often have visual analogies much deeper meanings you know the cloud animal dog thing you know it's
1:11:55 All you know an analogy at the end of the day so I I like that but the the music means needs that Parody to work you know it needs to bring the tone of the power parable to to bear so yeah I think That's why I was if it had just got a few more finite editing and shortened it down a little bit I think the same parable story could have been told within two and a half to three minutes in That phase and I think it would have been a straight one for me if that had been the case It was just slightly too drawn out um that's the only criticism I really had of that one Really liked it though thank you so much for submitting it to us and flory you're 100 right Like if it makes you feel emotional it doesn't need to be 100 perfect sonder sonder who's just In here told me something very very good a while ago it's better to get out like I mean this is
1:12:42 Content creator really but it's better get 100 pieces of content out that are 80 good than get 10 pieces 10 pieces of content out that are 100 good because as a creator as a filmmaker you're Always going to continue continue to go oh I gotta tweak this I'm gonna I gotta make it's not perfect Done yet it's not done yet and before you know it you've kind of destroyed the original passion that Was in it even though it wasn't perfect it hit the hit the right notes the right way I think you just described someone like sander perfectly because he lives and breathes the age Of social media you know and he understands that social media requires this level of prolificness And the most interesting guests we've had have a balance you know between creative vision and Having a social media strategy where they know the daily requirements like zach has this like you know
1:13:30 Instagram real strategy which is insane you know he has these daily uh gossip goblin episodes there And then they all lead to the longer form youtube stories and stuff but this is the marketing Strategy isn't it you know for real that is that is the funnel yeah and people don't get that in The creative space because they're not necessarily marketers or social media experts or anything like That so many people have asked me about that I'm a creative but I'm also a tech nerd but I don't Have business I I'm good I'm a good businessman in the sense of I know how to do things in business I'm not good at organization or getting things like organized for myself but like you know we All have the traits that make us successful and do well and things that we're not good That's why we have ai now you have Grokbot yeah I want to give me give me grandpa no I'm great

A nostalgia Gen Jam: old AI tools versus new
1:20:06 Should do a video jam with like someone like pj and like someone gossip and have them use the And see how far they can move To those old limits now. You know, Kyber is a tool That no one uses, and I love That tool. Write that down. We will do that. A nostalgia Thursday, Throwback Thursday is not something like... A nostalgia Gen Jam. Nostalgia Gen Jam Throwback Thursday Has got to be done. That trademark is owned by men, but... Sorry, men, I'm using Gen Jam right now. We'll work with Machine Cinema On that project. Cool I've been meeting more and more of them and yeah oh they're so good they're such a sweet team If you guys don't know but she's not take a look at them they're great people men is one of the

1:21:46 It out of choice but I Andrew loves it other people love it I can't get into it as much Okay you're gonna love the next ones what don't you like you know I just never have been uh Entertained by being scared in a movie you know it's not something I like seek or anything like That like I'm not a thrill seeker there's a difference between a scary movie and a horror Film I could say that definitively right there's movies that are just meant to scare you and there's Movies that by nature of the material are terrifying in concept but yes they're not meant to be like I'll get you I'm gonna give you two movies to I'll recommend two after Okay okay well these two again they fit into that category but I think that one is slightly
1:22:37 Less um you know in your face with it and the other is actually a horror short you know okay Kind of on the vein of like something under me harry might make or something um let's watch the First one um which is I believe slightly less but I think it is still a horror so you know Get ready guys if you're on linkedin and you're not used to seeing this type of stuff Called uh Kali and it's an animated horror four minutes and then we're going to finish with uh Mimic which is a horror short by uh noctuary let's check out first though Kali
Kali, an animated horror short
1:23:53 I'm sorry. Thank you.
1:24:56 Hello? Help me. Are you okay? Please... help me. I'll go get someone. Wait. Please. Max? Where are you?
1:25:43 It's so dark. It's all right. I'm gonna get you out, okay? Hello?
1:26:29 Oh, come on. Oh, my God.
1:27:26 I'm sorry. Who else jumped who else jumped in that one what were your thoughts on that one then guys Well one two okay not for me three I like that a lot I thought the animation was really good
1:28:12 It reminded me of old like japanese horror shorts um I I I was not expecting the blood The charm coming out but like so well done so well done so cool the jump scare part was really like The flickering of the mobile phone with the beast's face and all of that look just you were in you know I was in at that point I was like yeah I could watch more and I'm not even into that genre as I Say um gritty edgy you know the the again the sound effects so make it don't they they're like the the The the noises yeah yeah ah especially with headphones on oh my god you're like really Immersed in hearing the animation is so good I could I could watch a full episode of that no
1:29:01 Problem oh this one's really getting the linkedin voters coming in getting lots of one coming in From linkedin transporting you yeah that excites me it's just like yeah yeah yeah that that was The only problem with it was you kind of knew where this was going you have a minute and a half To get the plot across you can't really like you can't dilly dally I guess but yeah very cool yeah We all knew it was coming I still was like I I you know I can't see Chris's cam in the private Room but like I was like I was like oh it's like damn and I I'm in this pitch black studio I'm Gonna watch my shoulder I'm not walking good thing I don't have to walk home anywhere I'm At home all day anyway so no walking home at night for me great uh notes here from the the the master
1:29:47 Of this genre himself great oh my dark ending a two solid two great guy I think he's uh when I met I met him through twitter years ago when I started doing this and I remember I remember being like Hey I made this video check it out like please hey hey I'm carrie howie please like my video But uh now now we're all doing really well so you know congrats to our your success uh harry um and Thanks for joining the live I got to see him recently at shake I was in uh france with him I know man we miss you every time I'm like your energy people don't know you know that haven't Seen you in europe they just don't know the energy that you come to the everything with it's awesome You haven't seen me in action in the field.
1:30:34 I know, man. Once you've experienced the train, though, You always want the train there, you know, Because it brings the vibe and the energy and just bringing - Because some people, you know, and rightfully so, You know, they travel half the world. They're very knackered. They're not really up for a good time. And then you just need a few good people to make that whole turn around And then everyone's up for it. You know me, 14 hours on a plane to Dubai, I'm still walking off that plane ready to rock. Yeah. Um you actually sent me some breaking news uh whilst we were showcasing you have a breaking News thing you need to get a breaking news like I know do you know what's hilarious that we do have Um if at all the ice cream van ever turns up and you can hear it on the live stream then I put this
1:31:20 Image up which is me Paul and Andrew getting ice creams but yeah we need like a breaking news The co-hosts like in some image that I can like so what is this exactly this is um google Announcing whilst we're live yep uh Gemini 4 Argon is their new state-of-the-art model um Damn and I haven't read much I the two things really to preface it right it looks incredible At doing 3d as from what you're about to see now the benchmarks have it higher than most Current leading models. But what I've heard is from sources that are actually using it or had
Breaking news: Google releases Gemini 4 Argon
1:32:08 Used it, that the actual use cases of the model and the work it does don't reflect the benchmark Score. So the benchmark score, they're saying, is higher than what it actually feels like the Intelligence level of it is. Now, this is the release. This is the full release as of now. Who knows if pre-release stuff, maybe they were just throttling things as they were preparing But oh is this in the beta users um that have had early access yeah like the words I've heard From people was it wasn't as the benchmarks but then again who knows it could have just been that But Argon 4 it is now available globally across all google's products and you can try it in uh The gemini app and it's built into now the google ai search for ai pro and ultra subscribers only
1:32:55 Um developers the gemini api pay tier uh is has it Antigravity google ai studio for ultra ai Ultra subscribers is available and um let's see scientists it's available for the you can apply For the top usage tier and Antigravity free of charge and enterprises it's available for gemini For business and in Antigravity as well cool well as you showed me as we were live there is this Uh launch video that's come along with it so let's check it out hi I'm george a creative producer on The gemini prototyping team at google deep mind so I built this 3d model of a japanese temple complex In blender using gemini 4 argon in Antigravity with a multi-agentic looping workflow based on a Single prompt 3d builds are a great way of testing a model's capabilities particularly in areas like
How Gemini 4 Argon built a pagoda in Blender from one prompt
1:33:46 Coding and world understanding. One, because building a 3D model is a technically complex programming task. Two, because it's immediately apparent if something's wrong with a 3D model, You can verify it instantly. We started using pagodas as a subject for 3D builds last year. It's useful to have a consistent subject, So you can really track the advancement in the models. But with Gemini 4 Argon, we wanted to take it a step further, Building a photorealistic 3D model in Blender via Headless CLI. So this build was technically generated from a single prompt, But it was a little more complex than just Build Me A Pagoda. It references a skill that we developed for building large, coherent 3D builds.
1:34:31 A skill is essentially documentation that you give the model, in this case via Antigravity. The prompt then asks Gemini to call a tool to create architectural blueprints for the building. The prompt then goes on to prompt Nano Banana to generate images based on those blueprint images. Those Nano Banana images, there are four of them, are very important because they serve as references for the main part of the build, which is a multi-agentic adversarial loop. Finally, the prompt divides work between different agents with an orchestrator agent overseeing everything. In this case we can see how Gemini 4 Argon has divided them in Antigravity, all overseen
1:35:20 By the orchestrator and adversarial critic. And we're rendering images within Blender which are compared against those idealised Nano-banana images. The next morning I came back and saw the results that we're seeing now. These are just images, so I asked the model to render some animations in Blender and then Generate some bell sounds and ambient sound effects to give it a little bit more atmosphere. One of my favourite things about working with these models is when you discover some new capability Where the output seems almost impossible. And this sort of thing now is possible because of models Like Gemini 4 Argon in Antigravity.
1:36:09 My god dude So good The details are so good I mean like I can't I'm knocking you off I gotta go play Like I texted Chris privately While we're doing this I'm like Oh here's another $200 month subscription But I mean My god Like People are voting And there's not even a voting pin I was like Yeah, yeah. I'll give it Google. Oh God. Oh, wow. So wild though. Like the full stack that Google has with nano banana updates and stuff are going to Be so vital to that being the blend thing. But this is the, this is the thing that we've discussed for over two years now. Andrew said, you know, I, I work in logic pro and that's a very complex software.
1:36:58 Blender is another very complex software. So is Cinema 4D. So are all of the 3D tools. But now we're going to have sub-agents given root instructions on how to build in these things. And we pull them through MCPs and things like headless CLI, he said, which is like the fastest way that could possibly work as well. It's crazy what's starting to happen, honestly. Yeah, I want to see what other tools they were showing. Right what was the other models the ref they referenced in that video so like just to put It in perspective right look at the depth it's a multi yeah the depth of detail that you get from Gemini 4 Argon now once again that what they did it's it seems like very simple like oh we have a
1:37:49 Little skill I guarantee you that skill was very detailed instructions right so yes you can get That result using bledger yes you can get that result in that minutes of detail but you get to Understand the like the scale of that right it's not a complete world you're when you build these Things out with these tools if I wanted to build that level of detail across a bigger map now you Know my now imagine that whole map but only using that amount of resources the level detail now is Thinned out because you're doing it across a giant map yeah what they showed us gemini 2.5 was showing The early examples of that pagoda. And that came out in March of 2025, so a year and a half ago. I mean, in a year and a half, we went from Legos to what looks photorealistic.
1:38:35 Photorealistic, you know, that's up for debate. But it's close enough to the depth of detail you would expect out of a high-quality title. And you can do that now on your computer with words. And now wait for another year and a half. I guarantee you you'll be able to get that level of fidelity out of a fully functional map of the Game um and yes megan oh no I just started using blender last week now this this should be great Then for you I mean this is this is the ideal situation I think those skills will definitely Come in use just like there's coding skills that would be very good to debug and other things you Know knowing the software is never a bad thing it's just that now we have tools that can use it At an expert level too. And as you said, in natural language, Which is the biggest breakthrough, Like having an agent running subagents
1:39:22 That it can talk its own language to the subagents, But you're interfacing with it with your natural language And it's going and creating all these metatasks In HTML and whatever That you don't even need to necessarily understand. I think I just thought of something pretty good. Like, you know, they say you didn't make it. Oh, you didn't make anything. It's like okay that game director didn't make anything he told people to make because he had A vision or they she had a vision whoever has the vision can make things come to life now if you're An idea person if you have amazing visions in your head you can now make them into real functional Worlds and real functional films and really beautiful things now people with these ideas Are finally able to take them to fruition and yes okay I didn't make that okay that's like okay
If AI builds it, did you still make it?
1:40:08 Say I was making jewelry okay I didn't mind the gold it's like but am I still not a jeweler yes I You know I have a tool that helps move it just because I'm not banging with a hammer doesn't Mean I didn't make it it was all these interact the ways that we're interfacing with these tools Now it's okay yes we're detached in a sense but it's still me making it it's still thoughts in my Head conducting the way the work is made done you know yeah taste making and profile it's going to Be so important isn't it and everyone's gonna realize this soon we're all ability uh to make Our own worlds it's just whether you're not you choose to use that or not and if you're a business It's ridiculous not to because you now have the ability to make entire worlds that can be your Marketing um anyway let's close out the show because I know you've got some uh breaking news
1:40:55 Yourself of people you need to get in touch with so yeah my phone's actually going crazy right now So even if you want to drop during this last one thank you so much for showing you all right let's Wrap it up with this last one guys um get your votes in strap in this is a six and a half minute Piece it's another horror short uh thank you so much for submitting to us check out the ai live Show.com if you want to submit to us on a future episode and luma.com forward slash the ai live Show for the newsletter so that you see everything that we showed in last week and all the freaky Up all there but yeah this one is called mimic and it's by the noctuary short horror film let's check it out Help
MIMIC, a short horror film by The Noctuary
1:41:49 No! Ma'am, do you need help? Whoa, whoa. Hey, what the hell was that for?
1:42:59 Okay, last game, then bed for real this time. You said that two games ago. Because you keep losing and I feel bad for you. You do not feel bad for me. No, I don't. Shh, quiet though. Mom's already asleep. I know, I know. My turn to count. Go hide. Oh, and Sally, watch out for the shadow man. The shadow man isn't real. One, two, three.
1:43:53 Mom, I thought you were sleeping. Eight. You're getting colder. Sally, you can't keep moving. That's cheating. Warmer.
1:44:58 I'm sorry.
1:45:56 Found you. I know you're down there. No, you don't. You have to come find me. I already know you're down there, Sally. Just come up already. How do you know it's me? That's not funny, Sally. Get up here already or I'm telling Mom. Sally? Okay, I'm coming.
1:46:46 I thought you were going to come find me. Sally, help me! What is going on? There's a man in the basement! What do you mean? Girls, there's no one in the basement. If you don't believe me, you can go check. No, we don't want to go down there.
1:47:36 Girls, what do I always say? We conquer our fears by confronting them. So I need you to go into the basement. You've never said that before? Girls? What is going on down there? Who are you talking to? Hey come here Oh my god well guys as I said we were going to end on a spooky note so um apologies for those
1:48:26 Of you that aren't into that genre of stuff uh I will put a final poll up though what did you think To that uh one awesome two okay three not for me and get your votes in now for the final one uh Chris has had to drop off and uh yeah it's one of those things guys where if you're into that And that's your type of thing as you can already see someone's coming in straight away for me my Notes would be that the animation was a lot more forgiving you know in terms of um when you're Watching a horror short like that I just feel like if you're going to go for photo realism
1:49:11 You have to really just nail every single aspect otherwise we're just so good at noticing when Things are slightly wrong um and I think that someone said earlier that animation is just a Lot more forgiving in general so for me it's definitely a two and maybe if it'd been in a Could have been uh pulled off to a one but yeah it was a bit of a jump scary lots of dark stuff What's emerging from the dark space uh shape-shifting not not fun you know not fun when Your monster's a shape-shifter as well so yeah but we're in that spooky season guys we're leading up To halloween and a lot of the stuff that we're going to start getting submitted from a week to Week now no doubt will be in the horror genre so whether that's for you or not we'll try and keep
1:50:01 Up the regular ads and the more wider news and stuff so that you guys don't just have to have Horror every single week uh leading up to halloween and such but yeah it seems to be that a lot of the Entrants that are coming into us now already are getting onto this theme and we have Uncanny joining Us absolute legends as I said in that genre other people as well that are really big into it Screen hack event this friday thank you so much for reminding me about that jimmy I have been a Judge on that and uh yes um other things to announce uh like the big screen hack really Awesome to see so many people participating in that so many different categories of people as Well might be some tickets left um yes I will uh try and ask aaron about that one and if there are
Big Screen Hack and a Creator Session with Phil Langer
1:50:50 Tickets left put it in the newsletter thanks for that jimmy and I'll follow up tomorrow on Slash The AI Live Show. Also, you can subscribe to us on the LinkedIn newsletter as well. It's the same newsletter that goes out in both places. Thanks so much for tuning in and for Chris for joining in as well. The Chris and Chris show. It's something we might need to work on in the future. Hey, absolute legend for stopping by.
