Andrew's back, Paul's away and a record week for submissions
0:04 [music] Hey, hey, hey. We are back and we are live. Hopefully, you're hearing us on LinkedIn, on YouTube, on X. Let us know where you're tuning in from around the world. Andrew is back in the house. We had Chris tuning in for last week. Thank you so much for Chris if he's watching. Thanks Chris. Legend. Yeah. Pulling in last minute. And uh May, it's been crazy this week. Like I mean for real probably the most crazy week of the year. Really? Wow. There's a lot of stuff. I know my whole timeline's just full of AI videos. So yeah, I'm I'm seeing more and more people getting into this space.
0:51 Exactly. And we've got no Paul with us again. He's finishing off some last minute client things. So, I'm trying to add the music. I realized that we've got no music. So, the intro music is back. Uh, but we've got an insane, in fact, a record-breaking week for submissions this week. So, thank you so much for all of you finding us, submitting to us, sharing us, all of those things to get us out to more people. Uh, Marco as well did a great job curating for us as he always does every week, suggesting a few videos last minute. So, we've got suggestions from you guys. We've got picks from me. And you know, one of the first bits of news I want to talk to you about, mate. And uh Grockbot found a lot of the videos we're going to watch today. So, I'm going to be reacting to them real time like you.
Can Grok help curate an AI show?
1:39 This episode, there's a few I'd say there's four or five of them that Grockbots picked entirely and we can put that to the public vote. you know, how did Grubbot do compared to my curations [music] and user submissions? And now we have a new person involved in the live show, mate. Nice. All right. So, question. Do you pay for Grockbot? I' used the Did you pay for Yes, I went straight away to the paid plan because I had several tasks for it. Although, there is a free version like you say. So, if you're interested to just try it out, go and try it out with the free version. See if it's useful to you. Um, but yeah, I went straight to premium cuz I had loads of jobs for it. And your overall thoughts. I really really like it. Um, I've heard interesting stuff about Meta Muse and about OpenAI dots which is, you know, the equivalent personal assistant in the agent space,
2:31 but Grockbot for me is just such a simple interface and perfectly links up to Claude and stuff. So, it's working really well so far, I'd say. Uh, I'm only a few weeks into testing it. Maybe not even two weeks, maybe one week. Wow. Uh, yeah. So let us know in the chat if you're using any of the personal assistants crop metamuse. There's quite a few of you from America so you got access to Muse for free. So let us know. And hi everyone in the chat. Daniela Daniel California girl brand fire. Hi everyone. Let's go people tuning in. West Hollywood. There's so many of you guys from California. We love it. Thank you so much for tuning in. I'm repping LA today. Let's go. Let's go, guys.
3:16 Really appreciate it. And yeah, we're going to rapid fire through videos. Like I said, it is the most videos we've ever been submitted in a single week. And Grockbot found a bunch of them. And so, yeah, we're going to be firing on all cylinders this week. So, I'm not even going to, you know, give us much uh in the early stage because we're going to go straight to the news. So, this one is a really interesting thing that we've been talking about from week to week. Sound effects and it's a new app called Merillo and it's on version two now actually so it's not that new um but it's been incorporated into lots of the aggregators and we saw that runway had added it so if you're using runway you can now use Marillo sound effects 2.0 O and this is generating soundscapes from your video
Mirelo SFX 2.0 arrives in Runway
4:06 um whilst keeping dialogue and other things locked in. So it's adding generative sound effects. And we saw this really creative video that Runway did to market this. So let's check it out. [snorts] Sometimes simple ones. Yeah. Love it. Yeah. Very quick little video. We're not going to do any voting on these news pieces. Actually, we might do on a later piece because it's sort of a hybrid piece. That one is just specifically a nice little creative idea to advertise like new sound effects available in runway.
4:57 So yeah, let us know if you've tried it guys in the chat, Marillo 2.0. And if you think it's any good, definitely recommend it. It's not one that we've got around to trying yet, honestly. Um I signed up to this account uh this ages ago because I'm just looking at my Yeah, I signed up in January. Well, ages ago, January this year when I signed up. Um and I never really played around. I just get an email every month saying you've got 2,400 credits and you've got 5,000 credits. So, I need to play around with this tool. Ah, that was it. This was the tool where you could upload a video and it creates the sound effects for you. I remember this tool. Yeah. Yeah, I remember. Drag and drop video sound effect generations. Interesting. Yes, I remember this tool now. Well, let us know guys if you've tried the old one, if you've tried the new one.
5:46 Hey, Glenn's just joined the chat and Daniela, let's go. Let's go, guys. So, Chris first just put into the group chat like literally seconds before about to go live this ad, which mate, have a guess how much you think they paid for this. [music] [music] So, hold on a minute. Let's Right. So, that was Robert Downey Jr. A real Robert Downey Jr. Real Robert Downey Jr. Yeah. And it's for a new specs augmented glasses company.
How much does a real Robert Downey Jr. cost?
6:35 Wow. So, they've got him as the face, you know, Iron Man as the face. A lot of money. Oh, yeah, baby. cuz he's not a he's not cheap anyway and secondly he's about to be all over the place cuz uh the new Marvel's coming out in December. So exactly they I don't know like Theresa said can we play that again? So yes we can play that again. Let's watch that again. [music] [music] Do you know what it reminds me of, mate? Can you remember in the World Cup when a load of brands were using David Beckham, but they didn't even get him to speak?
7:22 And sometimes you didn't even see his face. Like you just saw his like tattooed hand and whatever and like it was all like a depends on budget. Exactly. The hand will cost you a hundred thousand. If you you just get me and not my face that's another 500,000. If you want me to speak this another million like they probably smart smart. Exactly. And that little smirk at the end is so him as California girl says. So you know little subtle things you know that's obviously like um a very Do you hear screeching in the background? A little bit. A little bit. So every every afternoon every afternoon it's gonna sound really like Zul. Yeah. Every afternoon the the our neighbors puts out some parrots. So these parrots. I don't know if I'm going to see if you guys can see it.
8:11 I don't know if you guys can see it. So above the car there's some they're parrots. Like you won't be able to see it because I don't know how to zoom in on this. But what you've got is every day they come out and they fly around like it's like some c what's it from one of those cartoons? Um Rio. So they're just flying around and they're always making noise. So if you hear all this screeching, it's these random parrots that every afternoon they come out and then you're going to hear my dog go crazy because she's Yeah. So yeah. So apologies that for that. You got the ice cream van. I have parrots. [laughter] Mate, that is some tropical problems to be having. Exactly. Exactly. But sorry, how much how much did they paid it, mate? I don't know. But Chris just said, you know, $100 million
8:59 for, you know, just an appearance, but it could be a whole roll out of ads, you know, we don't know. And that's the thing is that's what happened with David Beckham and all the World Cup stuff. He was in multiple ads for multiple brands and, you know, anyway, that was just a last second thing that we found right before. Now, this one is in the news section, but it's not really news. It's sort of a spoof spec ad slash very contextual to something that just happened in society. And honestly, it's kind of tragic what's going on in Paris if you've seen the news around that. Um, all of the rioting, all of the stuff. Yes, protests were needed, it sounds like, but then it turned into seriously dangerous riots and stuff, right? But then there's been lots of videos surfacing as reaction to this and I saw this one just
Paris City Tours, Now 50% Off
9:50 called Paris city tours now 50% off. So let's check it out. Bonjour. Yes. Yes. You are for the tour. Welcome [music] Mami. Welcome to Paris city tours. Today I show you the real Paris. Follow me. Al this way here. Plastil. [music] Very important for us in France. And this column commemorates the revolution of 1830. [music] Very important. Yes. Oh, little bit to the left. This way. Okay, good. Stay close. Boom. Boom. We continue. V. A. Very good. Keep moving. Meami. Perfect. Oh, small detour. Much better this side. The fresh air. Voila. The famous Mulan Rouge. And of course, the Eiffel Tower. And here, voila. Hung the Mona. Ah. A little shower. It's very refreshing. No. This neighborhood is famous for its intellectual conversations.
10:40 Very passionate people. The French. Ah, the tre French our newest recipe. Mezani here. Very good for shopping. Tik [music] everybody duck meet. Everybody look happy. And from here you have the most beautiful view of Paris. Well, here we are. Your hotel Awar enjoy the [music] rest of your stay in Paris. When you see don't know whether or not to laugh or to to anyone in Paris or France. I just got back from France, you know, I I mean that with all, you know, good intentions.
11:28 It's obviously a satirical take on the unrest that's happening across France. And it's very serious though, you know, like people are genuinely scared. So, um, yeah, a bit of light-hearted fun at the chaos that's going on. And please don't be offended if you're in France. You know, uh, we're getting ones coming in and we haven't even started the voting for that. Maybe we should actually. Um, I I will open a poll for that one. Uh, no, actually, I'll wait. I'll wait because that is in the news section. We'll get into this next one. We will definitely uh open a poll for though. So, this one is from Jeff Synthesized, who if you remember, he won the X-P prize. So, congrats to Jeff for winning that.
Jeff Synthesized's flying Roadster chase
12:14 And he uh obviously has seen all the news around the Tesla flying car stuff, and there's been lots of videos made in reaction to that Tesla flying roadster. However, I think this is probably my favorite one that I've seen so far, and he just called it action movies will never be the same again. So, let's check it out. [music] Suspect vehicle is airborne.
13:05 [music] [music] [music] tunnels a quarter mile deep. He's boxed in. Disregard last transmission. [music] Heat. [music] Heat.
13:55 [music] Pretty [laughter] insane, huh? Yeah, like I said, there's been loads of videos made in reaction to that Tesla Flying Roadster. But that one uh by Jeff was probably one of my favorites. But what did you guys think? The poll is now open. One, if you thought that was awesome. Two, if you thought that was okay, three, if that one was not for you, let us know in the chat. Hey, I see a load of new people joining in the chat. Marco, what's going on, buddy? Wen, let's go. Lisa's in the crowd. Hey, Eric and coming in. Let's go. Yeah, good point. California girl. Yes, indeed.
14:45 Indeed. What I noticed, what I thought was quite cool was that little boy was in the car playing with the Delorean from Back to the Future, which was the last kind of flying car. I like the random Batman as well in there and stuff like that. Batman on the bog, as someone said. Just little things added in. I don't know why your two didn't count there, California girl. Maybe because you added a note afterwards. I'm not sure. Or maybe the polls aren't working. Try and type that two again. See if it registers. I'll type it. Let's see if it comes up. Yeah. Not sure if the poll's working. Oh, yeah. There we go. Yeah, it's working. Yeah. Couple of twos coming in now. All right, guys. I'm going to start voting as well. Me and Andrew, by the way, um we have uh our own votes that we can cast.
15:30 We'll get one each on each one. And I think we'll do it in the chat with you guys as well as discussing it obviously uh over here because now Claude is able to look at our YouTube studio and actually take all of the poll stuff to the website which is really really interesting. Me and Andrew are going to be chatting a lot about this, you know, vibe coding, uh, lots of stuff at the moment, um, in the background. Having a lot of fun with it, too. Learning a lot about the process. But yeah, now all of our creator sessions has a really rich, detailed page about everything taken from the transcript, it's made clips, it's made motion design, it's made all sorts of stuff. So really fascinating times which is why it's been one of the craziest weeks in AI for me anyway personally getting Grockbot and all these new uh things I can do with Opus
16:18 is really a game changer. Yep. Claude for the win. Marco taught me a lot about Claude in the early days. Andrew Claude code specifically the folder root system and stuff that you need for stuff you want to make. So yeah, Marco is another one to hit up in regard to all that because he really taught me everything. Right guys, as I said, we're going to really rattle through them this week because we've got so much to show. Now, the next load of videos I'm going to give some context to. So, when I was over in Shake Film Festival, thank you so much Jeremy and Shake. It was a brilliant festival, by the way. One of the best ones I've ever been to of its first of its kind. I will say it really was living up to everything that I hoped. It was the one that was in the home place of cinema, mate. Remember I told you? Um, it was it was amazing. And there was several days of it.
What are the Love Letters to Cinema?
17:08 And uh on one of the days, Drama sponsored an event which was called Love Letters to Cinema. And the idea was that there was a hundred filmmakers from like 40 different countries all sitting in one room together making in one day what their interpretation of their love letter to cinema would be. So, it's very personal all of these directors, you know, making what their history of film is and also the films that they love and stuff like this. But, they're all about one minute long. And you'll recognize some of the names like Toby Haidider who's been on. Uh Ryan Uncanny Harry was there. Afroofutch was there. You know, there was some really cool people there. But I'm just going to rattle through some that Jeremy recommended to us actually who was the organizer of them because there were a hundred.
17:55 So, we can't get through them all, but we'll try and get through as many as we can. The first one is by Stefan Benini, and he's another incredible creator that we've featured many many times. Miriam was there as well, by the way. Uh there were so many pe there were so many people there. It was a sad one for you to have missed actually because you'd have met GZ was there as well. There was so many uh of the show people there. But anyway, let's watch Stefan Benini. Heat. [music] Heat. [music] Heat.
Stéphane Benini's love letter
18:57 Heat. [music] [music] [music] Nice. Wow, there was some incredible cinematic visuals. And he's an expert car guy, so you know, you knew that the car scene was just going to be incredible, too.
19:44 Um, quickfire round of votes, guys. So, get your votes in really, really quickly for that one. Um, because we're going to rapid fire through these Love Letters to cinema. Um, yeah, get your votes in as quick as you can. I know there's a bit of a delay on LinkedIn, so we'll try not to uh miss any of you guys out, but uh yeah, we're going to be rapid firing through these. Lots of ones coming in straight away for that one. Monica said, "You can't mention Stefan without mentioning Bruno." Oh, yes, Bruno. His uh Bruno Dant, his incredible co-creator. I'm gonna actually he's the one who made the Formula E uh thing that we watched now the trailer for the Bacles. He's been everywhere recently. I've seen him. He was at Shake as well. And yeah, both of them I interviewed on a panel in on the stage together as well.
20:36 That was when the guy who was like making Darth Punk music videos was on the same panel as them. Amazing. What a time. What a time. Okay, guys. We're going to rapid fire through to the next one, and you'll know who this one is straight away because you'll recognize his face. I'm not even going to say his name. [music] [music] Heat. [music] [music]
Uncanny Harry's love letter
21:23 Heat. Heat up here. [music] Well guys, obviously that was Ryan Phillips aka Uncanny Harry, the legend himself.
22:13 And I'm just putting a quick poll up for that one. What did you think to that one? One. Uh, one awesome, two okay, three not for me. I'm not sure how that one wouldn't be for you, honestly, because uh you know, legendary. How did it work? Is it something that they did beforehand and then they brought it to the event? Oh, it's not coming up. Uh no, it was all done in the day, mate. So, literally, they just done it there and then. Nice. There and then in the room. They had about six to eight hours. Um, Dina unfortunately went down in the middle uh for about an hour. So, everyone was freaking out a bit, but um yeah, in the end uh most people were a able to get it in.
23:01 Um, why is this poll not coming up? You can only have one active poll. Oh, stop poll. That's why. Okay. What did you guys think? One awesome, two okay, three not for me. Sorry you guys are all casting your votes too early. Get them back in, please. Uh, add add your votes back in now the poll's live. Yeah, I thought that one was awesome. Obviously, uh, so many references to awesome movies. I just typed to him, "Your best angle, mate." That one with the Matrix flying bullets past his face. Yeah. So, I love when he just puts himself in in in in it. I like when he does that. Really good. It's a pattern we're seeing, isn't it? Marco did it. Uh, so many people are starting to do it now. And I think there's a reason why because you can get sign off.
23:47 It's easy, you know. You don't need to worry that you're infringing on someone's IP or someone's likeness. No, it's you, you know. So, exactly. Smart. Sorry guys, I'll keep trying to get the poll up faster. Yes. Exactly. Exactly. and you're very good at recognizing your own face, so you can see how good the transfer's been, you know, whereas if it's somebody else, you're constantly having to look at a reference photo and then the generation versus you actually knowing what you should look like and stuff like that. It's quite interesting. Anyway, yeah, guys, I'll try and get the poll up quicker and rapid fire through these. The next one is by Toby Haidider. So, I have this memory where my dad takes me to see Men in Black, [music] but it's also the day I started to comprehend
Toby Hyder on Men in Black and time
24:34 time itself. Um, so anyway, we're going to see Men [music] in Black and he tells me that. So, I put my shoes on and he says, "No, no, we got to wait an hour and then we'll leave and walk to the cinema." Um, so really understand that. I said, "Has that been an hour?" Immediately after. And he says, "No, no, no. Um, go play with your toys and I'll let you know when an hour's happened." So, I start doing that. Play with my toys [music] for a bit. I look up at the clock. Don't know what it means. Um, how long's that been? He's like, "That was five minutes." Also didn't understand what five minutes was. Um, [music] so my dad said, "Just play with toys and I'll let you know in an hour has been." Anyway, I start playing my toys. I start getting into it. [music] Imagining a little world from Lego. And um, yeah. He says, "Hey, put your shoes on. We're going." I was like, "What?" It didn't make sense. It was the same amount of time in my mind. Anyway, we walk to the cinema and it's daylight.
25:22 We go in and watch Men in Black and it's class obviously. Um an amazing cinematic [music] experience for a 5-year-old. And then uh we leave and it's dark. And I go, "Oh, wow. It's dark. Um how long were we in there for?" And he says, "Oh, that was probably [music] just under 2 hours." I said, "Dad, why does time go different speeds?" He says, "Were you having fun? It goes faster." So I've always associated cinema [music] with fun. That's my little love letter. [music] [music] loved it. Oh my god, that style and his voice over was so personal in that one.
26:09 It was really cool. Imagine seeing Men in Black at 5 years old, mate. Like, what on earth would you be thinking? Honestly, for some reason, I didn't see that. It didn't It kept It didn't play on my end. Really? Just kept Yeah, it just kept on stopping. I only just saw an image and then nothing else and then played for a bit. Let us know in the chat if you experience the same thing. But I think everyone else seemed all right cuz you're voting. So, I'm not sure what's going on. Maybe I've got too many things open. Yeah, maybe. Uh yeah, check your tabs or claude or something in the background. I shut down all of that because I realized that could make me lag as well. So, I'm trying to like Yeah. Well, thanks so much for getting your vote in, guys. And yeah, Monica saying that one was so cute.
26:59 I thought exactly the same. Honestly, I was like Toby is such a fun, friendly guy to meet in person, but he's so creative, too. But I love when you hear personal stories like that from him, you know, because a lot of times he's covering really serious subjects like the Hundred Years War or something really incredible, you know, but this time we got to hear about his relationship to cinema. So I love that seeing something like that from him. Definite one in the chat from me. I'm going to vote on that one as well. Got to remember to vote myself. All right, guys. Let's keep rapid firing through these then. Um, the next couple that we're going to show I'm less familiar with. I.e. I don't believe these people have been on the show before, but they were also suggestions from Jeremy.
27:46 So, let's check out the next one is by a creator called Yak Kadash. So, why are you watching me anyway? [music] Because I love you. Because I look [music] It was so hard for me today without you. It was so hard for me today without you. It was so hard for me today without you. All my life. All my life. Wait. I've been learning from you. From you [music] from the top. I've been learning from you how to say the words. It doesn't always work. Not like that. Okay. But I still come back.
28:36 Always [laughter] one more time. Because I love you. It was so hard for me today without [music] you. All my life, I've been learning from you how to say the words. It [snorts] doesn't always work, but I still come back. Always. Because I love you. [music] I really like lovely. Yeah, I really like that one. A really good suggestion. The poll's now open, guys. Get your votes in. The only thing that spoiled it for me was right at the end when that person just narrated it. It sounded like AI. They had that AI voice sound like you know how you can you can listen to an AI song now because you've
Who owns a voice on someone else's face?
29:29 heard so many AI songs you you you can listen you know it's AI it it just has that when it comes to the voice and I was like that's the only thing that spot it otherwise I really thought that was a like I really like that one but it also made me think this let's say for example you get a face let's say for example it's your face but they use my voice in an American accent Mhm. Is that copyright? Yeah. Really weird territories with that. Yeah. Or someone's voice, but it's on a some a different person's face. Yeah. That cuz then it's a case of saying, "Well, are you like how are you judging it?" So, you can literally have Ronaldo talking and say, "All right, that's Ronaldo." But if you do something that's similar to Ronaldo, but with a completely different voice,
30:17 is that enough or I don't know, mate. I don't think anyone knows where the line is and I think only lawyers will know in the few years. There's actually a few people that have been like looking into this, you know, how can I protect my voice and stuff and they don't know honestly. But um it is difficult and it's going to be something we talk about a lot in the future I imagine. Let's keep going. Uh the next one is by Stfan Tranquil. Leticia, your secret love. Let's hear it. She doesn't even have a boyfriend. Who's she writing to? The first time we met, I was little. My feet didn't touch the floor. You turned out the lights and the world opened.
Stéphane Tranquillin's love letter
31:06 I grew up on the same few streets. With you, I crossed oceans. I fell in love on a Tuesday afternoon. with a stranger who'd been dead for 40 years. Found people I'd never meet who felt exactly like me. When I couldn't sleep, I knew where to go. You taught me to look at people longer. To find a story where others saw nothing. Cinema. You gave me a thousand lives and made me love this one.
31:53 When's the wedding? You're not [music] invited, but I'll save you a spot in the credits. [laughter] All right, guys. Get your votes in for that one. What did you think? Um, there's a few more of these, but honestly, we've got so much to show this week, we might need to showcase some more next week because, yeah, we've got so much other stuff. And there were a hundred of these made. So, we've got plenty of weeks of these, you know, from all these directors. If you've seen any, by the way, in your timelines, uh, from this hundred love letters project, please submit them to us.
32:39 It doesn't need to be you submitting your own stuff. If you see someone else's content you really like, submit them to us as well on the ailiveshow.com. Votes are coming in really quickly for that one. Yeah, really nice written dialogue. I agree with David on that one. The dialogue really held on that one and uh the pacing and the editing to the dialogue and the voice over really held up. Yeah, really strong one today. Uh don't worry, you made it, Whiskey Woven. You made it. You remembered it's Tuesday and now you're here. So, don't worry about it. I think uh Blacklight showed up as well when we were in the middle of that one. What's going on, Black Light? Hey, Miriam said, "Get the treat to a dog. Bring the dog on camera."
33:25 My dog is uh just barking and barking and b because of the parrots. They're still out there. So, bring the dog on camera. You can see her down there just uh looking up at the camera for [laughter] a All right. So, what do you reckon? Should we show one or two more of those or should we just keep going with the normal uh stuff? Let's go with something else. Let's go with something else. Yeah, we'll take a little break. If we get some more time later on, we might come back to them. Uh let me hide the poll up for that one. Okay, let me look what I've got next. This one I thought was really, really interesting. So, um you do you remember celebrity death match? Oh, yeah. Yeah, that was used to be amazing. MTV mate classic. Well,
The Mutilator, from the creator of Celebrity Deathmatch
34:14 get this. Wonder Studios has teamed up with the creator of Celebrity Death Match, whose name is Eric Fogle. And they're going to be making an AI thing called the Mutilator. And this is something that he actually already had in the works a long time ago. And uh yes, as I say, from the creator of the celebrity death match. This is just a trailer for what's coming, but uh let's check it out. This is a world filled with death, danger, and destruction. And that's how it's done all up in this business. Hey, I'm Eric Fogle, and I'm proud to introduce The Mutilator, a wonder original. The thing that most people know me best for is a show called Celebrity Deathmatch.
35:01 I've been [music] trying to make Mutilator the feature film for years. Mutilator. The original version of Mutilator was a short film that I did at NYU. It took me about a year and a half. What I love about AI is that unlocks a ton of creativity. Specifically in the world of animation. It's about making good [ __ ] If it's good, people aren't going to care how you made it. I'm a little rusty. I thought my ass kicking days are behind me. Let's go pull John Wick on these [ __ ] Who the [ __ ] is John Wick? Seriously?
35:48 How cool does that look? Oh, I can't hear you. Where have you gone? There you go. I like There you go. Yeah. Yeah. I like that. I like that. First off, it makes sense. As soon as you said the the maker of celebrity death match, immediately I thought, "Ah, that's perfect for this AI generation." Oh yeah. Like perfect. And you don't need MTV because you could just build up a massive following on on well on the socials, the long one on YouTube, but then highlights across shorts and Tik Tok, etc. And then what he's done in the sense that he had an old cartoon and he's pretty much it looks like from what I'm just seeing he's taking what he done before and just updating it because it was the same scene. You know, he he could be on to something here. You know, that's definitely something that I think is could be great to bring back.
36:39 Get your votes in now, guys. Sorry, I just got the poll up. I'm I'm really missing Paul. He'll be back next week, I'm hearing. So, I'm really happy about that. Running all of the stuff in the background. I'm trying to keep it all going. Um, I loved it, mate. And as you said, perfect use case for AI, I thought. Um, also bringing back something that he's been trying to pitch for so long and would be so costly to do the traditional way. You know, AI is a literal use case for that in so many respects. I think animation is also a lot more forgiving than live action and stuff like that. So, it's also like Yeah. and he's like, you know, one of the greatest when it comes to that type of thing. So, with Wonder doing it, a great trailer. Yeah. All of it comes out for me. Fix all the boxes. Saw that in my feed and I was like, "Oh my god, something I'm really excited about, you know, like that is something I really would
37:32 want to watch." MTV. Was that submitted to you or was that Grock or was it you found it independently? I found that one because I'm part of the Wonder WhatsApp groups and stuff like that. So yeah, thanks to those team, you know, uh for having me in there and stuff like that. Awesome. Awesome to see. Let's keep going. So, what else did I see? This one's a very short fun one. Can you remember a few weeks ago when someone made uh like famous art like the Mona Lisa and all of that into stuff. So, we've got a part two. [music] I saw and I saw a story [music] in hurry on the corner back up on the sto [music]
Famous paintings come to life, part two
38:29 approaching the building now. [music] on the wall. [music] We're too late. Fun. Just a short fun video. And uh yeah, I don't mind it when you know those sorts of IPs, i.e. Famous paintings and stuff are used because it feels like a much more harmless, you know, IP infringing thing than live celebrities today, you know, let's say. Uh yeah, so really fun. I really like that type of video. Let us know in the chat if you'd like to see more of those on the show. Nicely edited, says Marco, which is in a very good compliment because he himself is a very good editor.
39:16 So yes, lots of ones coming in straight away. Whiskey woven. Eric loved that. Jason loved that. Great stuff. And we're getting through the videos. I've got a lot of short ones. Um so really cool. And we haven't had an episode like this in a while. Generally speaking, we get into sort of longer videos, don't we? So, it's really fire. Before you play the next lot of videos, how do you prefer it? Do you like a mixture of short and long? Do you prefer just loads of like short videos? Do you like the longer videos? Let us know in the chat how you like how you prefer like to watch. Do you prefer like longer ones, short ones? Let us know. Mixture of both. Hey, we got a Varon Studios tuning in. Thank you so much. Congrats on your recent releases as well, by the way. We've been watching you since you've been tuning into the show. There's so many talented YouTubers on here.
40:03 Honestly, it's incredible. We need to get some uh YouTube stuff going on with all of you guys cuz you really know what's going on. Multiple thousands of, you know, followers and subscribers just through pure AI uh creations. It's fascinating. Good on you guys. A combo of both. So, it's like some long, some mixed. Great to hear. Depends on the content. I think that's the context there, Caroline. Isn't it? It really depends like if it can keep you entertained for eight minutes or watch eight minutes, but some long boring video. Yeah, [laughter] exactly. Exactly. Right. Let me stop that poll. Hide that poll. I need to just get better at doing this. Okay, let's rapid fire through to the next one. Now, the next one is by another good friend of the show.
Stink Studios' Synthesia ad
40:50 At least he's partly involved. So Zed Anoir, who we featured quite a lot of, uh, Londonbased brother, really, really, uh, good generative AI guy that's been in it from early early days. He got hired by Stink Studios, and Stink Studios were the ones that made that PlayStation ad that we watched uh, last week if you tuned in. So, we weren't sure how much of it was AI then, although we know quite a lot of this is AI and that Zed was involved, but a lot of the Stink Studios team were involved in this one. And it's for the Synthesia company which is does avatars. They're AI avatars. So let's check it out. [screaming] [laughter] He looks just like you,
41:42 but better looking. Thanks, guys. But I'm just here to train you so he can do other things. Thanks, Marvin. He sounds just like you. [music] Make an AI avatar for training and interactive videos with Synthesia. Yeah, exactly. Short fun. [clears throat] Um I think they want to make more type of ads like that. So that's a sort of you know first of its like testing ground and maybe leading to wider longer things. But the poll is now open guys. What did you think to that? That's a real ad, not a spec ad I should say. That's a real piece of, you know, commissioned work by Synthesia with Was that hybrid or was that everything was in the AI? I believe it was uh hybrid, but I don't know.
42:30 We'll have to confirm with Zed how much of it was actually cuz like I said, Stin Studios is a really big team, so it might have been real people, real cameras. Okay, so votes coming in for that one. Thank you so much for being rapid fire on the votes, guys. Hey, Zigertz, join us. Thank you so much for joining us. Let's go. I see Joe in the chat as well. Thank you for joining us. Curio Craft Productions. Oh, we're seeing some new names here, guys. Thank you so much for joining us. One vote in there. Really appreciate it and getting your votes in quick as well because we are going to be rapid firing through these. Um, the next one, uh, I I now this one's a bit of a hard one because
Ræburn, Reborn: what am I buying again?
43:16 I believe that this is for the apparel, i.e. it's like a parachute silk jacket ad, but it doesn't really let you know that. And all I know that it's called Rayburn Reborn. So, if anyone knows anything more about this one, this was a Grock suggestion. So, again, in the chats, I'll let you guys know. Uh, what did you think of this one? To have things you've never had, you must do things you've never done. You must be someone you've never been.
44:21 To be more than before, the you that you know must be reborn. Again, I don't know too much about that, but cinematic visuallywise, it was pretty amazing. Uh, I loved that it was over the rooftops of London as well. It felt like Greenwich or something like that. Um, Marco, it reminded me a bit of your film in terms of the flying scenes and stuff like that. Uh, let me know in the chat though. What do you guys think? What did you think of that? A bit confusing as to what it was about. Again, Rayurn Reborn. What does that mean?
45:07 Is it an apparel brand? Is it a studio? Is it What is it? You know, um, I couldn't work out what that was. Like, if you didn't tell me like at the beginning it's for a jacket or apparel, but I don't know what it's advertising. I I would think it was more because of the show. Oh, they're playing with a new model and they're just seeing what it is. I would think that um as 404 film said, "What am I buying again?" Like, yeah, exactly. What am I buying again? Cinematic visuals wise, awesome. The editing, the lightning scenes, the darks, the lights, the really good voice over, too. But what the hell was it for? You know, like, you know, give us some context as to why that level of production was used. And uh that would have got a one for me, but truthfully, yes, I'm all with you guys.
45:54 That was definite two from me. quickly jump in and say brand fire said something I was just thinking Chris love clippy in the background [laughter] you I was I saw it earlier on and I thought hold on that's the Microsoft thing and then I yeah love it where'd you get that from my sister got it for me which is hilarious we had some chats about coming back in the agent you know world where like clippy is going to be an ongoing thing that we got to use again but in an agent perspective it's but it was the earliest of it kind, wasn't it? She also got me this little uh like Banksy throwing thing as well for my birthday. So, very nice of her. Very nice. Yeah, the original AI assistant. Good old Clippy. Good old Clippy. But yeah, let's keep him in the background as an AI mascot now.
46:45 He's part of this the law of the show now. All right, guys. So, your last votes coming in. I think we all voted two on that one. Let's get rid of that poll. It's actually quite a lot to do this, you know, like hide poll, stop poll, you have to do a lot of stuff. I now realize why it's so important to have a producer. [laughter] Oh god. [clears throat] Okay. Um, let's check out the next one. And this is actually more a lore of the show. Remember Paul Trillo? Yeah. Oh, we haven't had that name for a while. Yeah. Yeah. Every time he comes back, I'm so happy to see his name because it's always a beautiful thing. You know, the cloud dancers that I first saw from him was so long ago now, and I've had the pleasure of meeting him several times in person,
Paul Trillo's The Very Next Day
47:32 and he's just as talented as you'd imagine. And um this next one is by him, but it's also in collaboration with Asteria, which is part of the, you know, film production thing he's worked with. And I believe, I think it's LTX Studio or something. Um I Let's check though from the opening credits. I know for sure though it's called The Very Next Day and that this is a trailer for his short film that he's going to be making. But look how gorgeous this style is. [music] Heat. Heat.
48:22 [music] [music] [music] Oh, [singing] [music] heat, heat. [music] [music]
49:15 [music] Man, there's so much to get excited about this week in terms of what's coming. Trailers that are just epic. We saw the celebrity death match stuff and now we're going to see this from Paul who's just an OG goat in the space. So polls now open. What did you guys think to that? Straight one from me going in the chat. Just stylistically I'm just like, "Oh yes." And you feel that was midjourney. Was that mid Journey? Because it just No, definitely not. Um because Paul is very vocal about using only platforms that have got ethically trained database sources. So he would discount something like Midjourney. But what he'll be doing is creating styles and kind of you know what's called loras
50:04 which is like locking in a style essentially um in ethical ways but essentially emulating what midjourney can do mate you know uh without actually having to use midjourney that's always been Paul's way actually he was way ahead like in terms of like every he was making unique workflows that were novel to him and he's always been breaking new grounds in that regard. So yeah, amazing style, amazing work as usual. Straight ones for Paul. No surprises there. We will rapidly move on. Get your last votes in if you're on LinkedIn because I know you're on a slight time delay. Hey Chanel Wales, thank you for tuning in. Oh, Andrea, thank you, man. Good to see you recently as well. Ah, so good to see people in person, man. I need to see Glenn again.
50:51 I need to see Glenn and Eric. They're up in Canada or they have been um working on stuff together. Um I'm due to be in New York though, so I will definitely drop by and I'm going to be in Miami too. If you're going to Adobe Max in Miami and let me know in the chat. Um if you're going to upscale Malaga, let me know in the chat. If you're going to upscale Paris tomorrow, let me know in the chat. Other things that are coming up, let me know in the chat as well. Hey, see Megan there as well. Thank you so much for tuning in, Megan. All right, let's hide that poll. Stop poll. Hide poll. I'm making all these votes. Really? Oh, sorry, Anna. We'll try and count your vote afterwards. Just seen you. Uh oh, and Megan as well. We'll try and count that in for that one.
51:39 I keep forgetting LinkedIn and a bit of delay. Um, let's keep going though. Um, the next one I want to show you is by Alexa Rodri. Uh, sorry, Alexandra Rodriguez. And again, she's one of the most curated creators on the whole of the AI live show. I believe hers their Danoir and Ryan Uncanny Harry Diane. These are like the top 10. And um, what's interesting about her is that she doesn't really make things that are sort of long form or anything like that. It's always just fun little bits [snorts] that she's experimenting with. It's an ongoing experiment with her. And she just called this one evening at the museum. [gasps]
Evening at the Museum by Alexandra Rodriguez
52:33 Seriously, I told the inspectors that was incense. Next time say it's a curse. We get the afternoon off. Give me that. Play dead. You're smoking beside a 3,000-year-old exhibit. It I wasn't. Put it out. Out now. The lighter.
53:24 Okay, get your votes in for that one, guys. I can see some ones already coming in, but please recast those. Um, we only just opened up the polls, so they won't be counted yet. Get your ones in. Uh, repeat those ones. Anna's a big fan, clearly. Um, yes, I absolutely love her stuff. Honestly, like I said, there's a reason she's in our top 10 on the AI live show. Just every single piece is a banger and it's just so fun. Always new. Do you think she'll come on a creative session? I hope so. I um she's very strong in English when I type to her. Again, I don't know how she is talking though. Um I need to check actually. Uh but English is definitely not her first language. Okay. And it was the same with Incubus director last week, remember?
54:10 Um, yeah. Either, you know, I think what we need to do because we've got so many friends of the show now that will be very good in English and and comfortable talking live like uh then we can have someone translate, you know, literally just have someone very confident in both languages so that they can speak their native language and we can be uh having someone speak English. Also, you know, hopefully AI will help us with all of this truthfully. Um, soon enough we might be able to get a low latency translation tool that will be able to integrate with the show as a tech partner. If you know anybody uh or even anyone in the chat, if you if you if you can speak like multiple languages, let us know because again, you could we could bring you up um and you can be in helping us with the interviews with people.
54:57 So, that Absolutely. Loads of ones coming in for that. Love that style. I completely agree. That type of sort of 3D cartoon animation thing that she's got going on there is one of my favorites that she's done. So, I hope she continues to, you know, refine this style and make it into more videos in the future. Right, let's stop that poll, hide it up, create new poll. I'm having to create these every time. I don't know if this is how Paul does it, but if he does, he's just got to be constantly typing in the background, honestly. Um, the next one we're going to watch uh is another great friend of the show. So Dave Clark, obviously uh one of the OGs of our of our channel. Really probably one of the first big AI filmmakers that ever made the show.
Happy Halloween from the Clarks
55:45 He, as we've seen in recent weeks, has been working with his family with AI. Yeah, I was hoping you were going to show this one. Yeah, you seen this one, have you? Oh, mate. Such a fun one, right? And he called it Happy Halloween from the Clarks. And I believe it is entirely made by Dave's kids. So he may have given them some sort of guidance, but really it's their film rather than Dave's. So let's check it out. [laughter] [laughter] What was that? I'll go check it out. Are you serious?
56:40 Okay, all those years of Fortnite and Call of Duty better pay off. Uh guys, hurry. Hurry. Come on. Move. What's the plan? We run. Mom and dad are going to be pissed. We should go out the front. Maybe we can find help. Okay, come on. Let's go.
57:29 We have to go now. Run. Don't stop. Wait. Stop. It's not here. Shh. Are you calling the cops? No. I need to upload my TikTok. Are you serious? [music] Oh my god, man.
58:21 [laughter] Just imagine the sort of like diaries we're going to have with our kids where we're like, "Oh, this is what we made in the Halloween of 2026 together, you know, and this is what we made in the Halloween of 2027 together." It's going to be mental. Yeah, I think it was good. The fact that the kids done it, it wasn't like obviously AI AI, they probably helped like direct it, but the fact that the kids put this together, I thought that's that's a great gift to give them. It's so much fun, you know, to be in his position, able to give your kids these tools. You know, it's really incredible times for bonding with your kids, learning storytelling, learning editing, pacing, visual directing, all of it, you know, script writing, all of it. I just wrote to him, "All those years of Fortnite and Call of Duty better pay off." That was a hilarious line, you know.
59:10 Uh really, really fun. Really, really fun stuff. All right, let's uh get your final votes in for that one then, guys, and we'll keep moving on. We've been really rapid firing today. We're an hour through the show, but we've already seen so many videos, but we've still got so many more. As I said, record week of all weeks. We've been running the show for three and a bit years now. Yeah. And this is the most videos we've ever been submitted. So, we're feeling like a bit of a a bit of an uptake here. Really appreciate you guys submitting and um getting all this stuff to us. The next one we're going to watch is called The Cage and it's by Melody. I don't believe we've seen this creator before and I'm really interested to see if you would like us to reach out about this one.
The Cage
59:58 I believe it's Halloween themed, but again, I think this was a Grock one, so we may be watching this for the first time together, all of us. Let's check it out. [music] anymore. [music] [music]
1:00:45 What is it? [music] Look at that. Look at that. [music] [music] [music] What can I say? [music]
1:01:42 Well, the poll is now open for that one. Obviously, the reason that we've never seen it before is because it's by an Asian creator and Grock had uh I need to update Grock to say at least English subtitles are a requirement [laughter] um for future curations of the show. However, visually, oh my god, that was next level when it came visuals. Crazy. It's only when you just said about the subtitles, I was like, "Oh, yeah. I didn't know what was going on from word point of view." I was just watching. Yeah. But I feel it made me think to myself that I like a good horror film. Like I just like a good horror film. And I just feel because of the supernatural side of things, like AI is like it's AI suits it perfectly. I think if you've got a because what makes a really good horror film is a great story line and then
Why do horror and sci-fi suit AI so well?
1:02:32 everything around it. And I just think if you've got a really good story line and then use the AI around it, I think you could come up with a really powerful like film and that but in that horror genre. I think that's a a Yep. Huge opportunity. And also I was just thinking next week is Halloween, so I'm probably I'm sure we're going to have a lot more of those for next week. Oh yeah. Oh yeah. It's been building up steadily. Last week we watched a few. This week we've been submitted more and next week we're going to be submitted loads, no doubt. Um I am going to be away in early November uh in Miami as I said, but um I'm hoping that we can get some more Tuesdays in before Halloween to really showcase some of this stuff. I think sci-fi and horror has been the two biggest genres of AI so far to date, you know, and there's a reason for that.
1:03:19 As you say, Andrew, it works really well. It does need to have a great story, though. And I think the story there was slightly missing just because we didn't even understand the dialogue, you know, like it was really hard to know. Zero AI Studio, by the way, you are killing it, man. Oh my god. Um, we saw and we're going to ask you to come on for a creator session in the future. Uh, your latest release is absolutely blowing up. If you check it out, Andrew, just Google his handle, Zero AI Studio or or um YouTube it and it's called Alakard, Ashes of Dawn. 1.4 million plays eight days ago, uploaded [snorts] um Ashes of Dawn, chapter 8, Gothic horror
1:04:09 film. And sorry, what was the who was it from? Zero AI Studios tuning in here. Yes. So, congrats to you on blowing up on YouTube. We saw your piece. Thank you so much for tuning into the show. It's a 18minute piece. So, we've we've um got you planned in for a future creator session where you can really break down how you're making these things. But I just wanted to point out, you know, congrats to you for going mega viral in my timeline earlier. Really appreciate you tuning in. As I said, there's so many talented YouTubers watch us now. It's really amazing. I think hundreds of thousands if not millions of subscribers across the community now. It's really awesome to see. Not Andrew with the clean fade haircut. That's what I said, Diane. As soon as I saw it, I was like, "Mate, you're looking sharp."
1:04:58 You know what? I remember when we was doing the creator sessions and Afro Future played. Remember I said, "I like that kid's fade. There was there was a character and I said I remembered that." And then I I went I took a picture of it, went to the barber. I said, "Give me this." What this is on this video from Afroof Future and they said cool and done it. Yeah. And California Girl I think to date is probably sci-fi and horror. They're the two most populous AI stuff we've seen in terms of a genre. Um animation as well if you animation too if you Yeah. If you make that a category. Uh but yeah, it's kind of interesting. Kind of interesting. That's what she was thinking. Yeah. [laughter] But you know, that's a really good question. Um, Theresa, what are the two most popular genres?
1:05:47 Um, again, what have you guys seen? Yeah. What do you guys see a lot? Do you see one a genre that I don't often see is comedy? No, mate. Not enough of it. Not enough. It's obviously it's hard to make somebody laugh and and stuff, but it's I don't really I think comedy's the the script is so important in comedy that people get daunted that if they can't write good comedy that they don't even try because bad comedy is the worst, you know, so it's uh so easy to screw up comedy. And I think that's why it's one of the more avoided ones. But yeah, we'd love to see more comedy, honestly. Uh it's 100% one of my favorites. It'll be interesting. We're trying to do that. You try to do it.
Why is there so little AI comedy?
1:06:33 We're trying to do some mockumentary type comedy stuff, you know, satire. Yeah. That's exactly the type of thing that Paul's really good at, you know, so that we're trying to add to the lack of comedy out there. Yeah. Yeah. That' be interesting to see. I feel that if you got some of the best standup writers, because obviously a good standup, there's usually got quite a lot of writers. It's a team that works on it. And it' be interesting if you got one of these teams to build some form of AI character and see how well they perform and if it's funny or not. And I don't know if you remember the last Grand Theft Auto. No, it wasn't the last one. It was the one that had the guy from Serbia, Nico something. Um, and there [clears throat] was this bit where you could go into a club. You go on a date with the with this girl and you go into a club and you had Cat Williams and Ricky Jves doing a stand up.
1:07:20 Really? Yeah. Yeah. And it was like cartoon characters, but it was them. It was them. It was their like it was brilliant. So the way they've done it and um I was hearing that you're going to be able to do that in the next Grand Theft Auto. Oh, you know what? Actually, some leaks about that. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So, it'll be interesting to see if they can pull it off because it worked in a video game environment, but would it work if I'm just watching it on YouTube? So, I'm sure in fact you probably go on YouTube and type in fact I'll do it now. Ricky Jase. Oh, yeah. Fantasy Avar. That's definitely one of the most common ones we see as well as sci-fi. Yeah. You can actually go on to YouTube right now. Just type in Cat Williams or Ricky Jace GTA and you can see the
1:08:08 the the actual standup. It's like a 10-minute set. How cool. Be interesting to see like if anyone does a standup with with AI. That would be interesting. What another way to relate to your kids. Imagine you're a stand-up comedian and you've got a like 21 year old kid or something that plays GTA and then you're like, "I'm in that game by the way. You can go find me in this club over here. I did a 10-minute set." That's hilarious. [laughter] You know, um, one of my mates actually had on one of the previous Grand Theft Autos a song on the radio station. You know, there's so many radio stations in the game. He he he his claim to fame is I'm in GTA 4 or three or something like this which is uh pretty OG cool. Yeah. Ricky Javase was the other one. Yes. And Cat Williams. Cat Williams. Cat Williams and Ricky Jace. Genius comedians.
1:08:57 Both of them on Netflix, you know, as standups. Uh standup comedians. Right. Let's keep going. Um let's take a bit of a break. We're gonna go into something a little bit more light-hearted because it's getting a bit Halloweeny, isn't it? And uh we want to keep mixing it up. This one I thought was really, really fun. And it's called The Secret Life of a Kazak Granny. Now, this isn't a spec, but you'll see Pepsi in the middle of this and you'll think, why wasn't this a Pepsi spec ad, right? Because it was just a random video that somebody had made. and luma.com/theai live show for all of the links to all of the stuff. I haven't actually written who this one was by unfortunately in my producer notes.
The Secret Life of a Kazakh Granny
1:09:42 So, uh, sign up to that and I'll let you know. But yeah, I thought, why didn't you make this into a Pepsi spec? Let's check it out. [music] [music] Fresh and make diamond so [music] I'm covered in ice. Got me out for the whole pie. I don't want a slice in a hole of my to the game [music] baby that's my wife. Whole board getting wiped down. We don't play like never psyched out.
1:10:32 Unimproved. Everything [music] spike. All boxes getting checked off cuz that's what I like. Got wings made of honey. I'm about to [music] take flight. Throw it up. Blow it up. Blow it up. Blow it up. Hold it up. Hold it up. Blow it up. Blow it [music] up. Throw it up. Blow it up. Blow it up. Blow it up. Hold it up. Hold it up. Blow it up. Blow it up. That's the money machine. [music] Big break off the whole team. When you get a bird, that's the money machine. 15 [music] paper green. That's the money machine. Fix break off the whole team when [music] you hit a bird. That's the money machine. Big game, all cash. Oh, great little tag there. Seed Studio. So, we do know who that was by.
1:11:21 Seed AI Studio. The voting is now open for that one. What did you guys think? Yeah, that's why they didn't do uh Pepsi because they're obviously promoting themselves. Yeah, clearly. Uh or that could just be, you know, like their little tag at the end to say who it was made by or something like that. It could have still been a spec ad for Pepsi and then had their AI studio tag at the end. Again, I didn't really know what it was. It was just called The Secret Life of a Kazak Grandma. I loved the editing and the sort of close-up shots, though. I thought it was very clever, especially the one where the wheel turns around and it's like the camera turns with it, you know. Very nice, smooth to the music was banging as well. Uh, what did you guys think? They're London based as well. Oh, are they? Yeah, I'm just looking on their website.
1:12:07 Oo, could be one for a future creator session. I really like that. I really like that. Stylish, as uh Chanel Wales says. Very stylish. I really like that. Um, again, why it wasn't made as a spec ad for Pepsi, I'm not sure. Maybe it was better to keep the focus around the Grandma. Maybe it shouldn't have to, you know, always be brand product integrated. Maybe they're not an advertising studio. I don't know anything about them because that was a Grock submission. So, Grock's doing a pretty good job, honestly. Lots of ones coming in for Grock suggestions. This is a very encouraging sign for the curation of the show in the future. I'm very happy that I'm going to be able to get some help here. Um because I don't think that one was particularly viral, which is one of the things I asked Gruck to look out for.
1:12:56 You know, I said a lot of the stuff I see that goes viral is slop and I really don't want slop. You know, we're the anti-slop uh show. We really want to be AI worth watching. And so I really hammered home this brief that it doesn't necessarily need to have big views or big anything. That one had like a less than 100 views on YouTube. I think. Um, so yeah. Interesting. How many videos did Grock get you like that you would play in this show? I think so far we've watched five from Grock. So, he's doing a really good job so far. Really good job. And I'll try to highlight every week the ones that have been Grock. Um, you know what's fascinating is because Claude takes the transcript from this show and now talks to Grock, essentially it will be
How Claude and Grok now run the show together
1:13:46 able to feed back the loop of everything we say about it and actually improve itself, which is like a weird form of AI that we're entering now, isn't it? Is this like why have you got Claude speaking to Grock for the show? Claude does all of the heavy lifting for the website. So it does all of the like building of the website and Grock does all of the curation and other editing, clipping, all the other bits. So they work in together now and I've connected them all up through claude code and the terminal. Sure. So uh they even share the same folders and stuff. So they read each other's MV files and yeah, it's really fascinating stuff. The interconnection of agents. So, I think this is going to be a thing we talk about in the in the very near future. Honestly, mate, you know, getting agents to work with one another.
1:14:34 Yeah, that is definitely going to be like some of the things that well, you showed me some of the things that I've seen is is crazy. Crazy. Real game changers. And I don't say that lightly because a lot of people make those claims, but I'm being deadly serious. You know, this is really re in fact Diane I saw put a really interesting note into a group chat. She was a web designer for so long and only recently as she started to take AI web design seriously because you know when you've got that much skill you recognize game you know game recognizes game and Claude really wasn't up to the task until about 3 4 weeks ago when suddenly it's like oh my god can it do amazing things now so you just got to be on top of it when it can do that you know and that's what we're doing guys stressing it for saying and stressing this for so along and that is
1:15:25 if you're good at something AI can only help exceed like excel yourself because you know what great looks like you know don't be a prompter still be a creator you know that's ultimately the thing you're you're yes you're prompting but you're still creating and that's really really important absolutely and just testing you know just keep testing Ashton is uh Aston Kennedy how do we submit a video uh the ailiveshow.com please if you go to that website, you'll see a submit link at the top and uh then you'll find a form. So yeah, that's the easiest way to reach the show. Otherwise, you know, you can submit it to the AI live show inbox on LinkedIn uh where you're coming from or my personal LinkedIn. I've got inmails open as well.
1:16:10 So yeah, there's several ways to reach us. Thank you so much for tuning in. Really appreciate it. Okay, what have we got next? Um thank you, Visual Citizen. Appreciate it. Yeah, let's go. Love that, Andrew. Let's go. Right. Um, I'm looking for the shorter ones because we're leading up to longer and longer ones and I think that's the best way to do it when we get submitted more than 20 or 30 videos in a single week. This next one is 3 minutes long, so it's getting a little bit longer now. And it's just called Paco the Chameleon. [laughter] [music]
Paco the Chameleon
1:17:08 [music] [snorts] No. Wow. [music] Get out. Hm.
1:17:57 [music] [music] Perfect. [music]
1:18:55 [music] [snorts] [music] [music] Very, [music] [snorts] [music]
1:19:40 [music] very nice. Where's Andrew gone? Hello. Can you hear me? Oh, I can hear you. But hang on. Add to stage. Oh, there you go. I don't know where you went, mate. You're back. You're back. Uh, so the votes, get your votes in. Uh, what did you guys think to that? Super cute chameleon. A lovely visual story. You know what I was thinking you would say is straight up the merchandise opportunities for a kid show like that. Oh my god, mate. Millions of dollars. By the way, we've got Drew from the Fast Hours Show tuning in. Thank you so much for tuning in, Drew. Congratulations on 100,000. That is massive, man. You and Rory are absolute legends in the space.
1:20:30 We love you guys and we've seen your rapid rise to 100K. You bloody deserve it. So, massive congrats on that grind, mate. It's paid off big time. Well done. I'm a big fan of the show. I tune in every single episode. It's uh awesome. Even Rory was suggesting ones that I missed out on. I saw a really really cool one from you guys a month ago. Some of the guests you're getting. I also filled out a form to get sort of more rich data about me and my episode on the fast hours show and I'll be doing the same with you guys, you know, asking you guys uh to be on a creative session. Then we'll made a really rich page. Rory's a legend helping me out with that. Yeah. Oh, yeah. We'll love to get you guys on because Yeah, definitely a collab episode in the future. I love it when you also said like some episodes it's interviews, some things it's just you speaking about and you love both and that's I think the same.
1:21:22 I think myself and Chris feel the same. Like sometimes we do the interviews, sometimes this episodes like this regardless which one we love we love talking about it. Yeah, it's so fun to do both. Actually, the the show is this and it always has been this, but the creator sessions has been such a great addition and we get to actually highlight an individual. And now that we're in the era of AI where people have a real discoraphy, this is key, you know, like to really showcase what they did before, what they're doing in the middle, and what their really latest pieces are. Also, we're getting exclusive previews from people, which is very, very happy and grateful to have that. You know, Phil was a legend in doing that, wasn't he? Phil Langer last week. Uh such an awesome guy and giving us exclusive previews to the next Icarus and stuff.
1:22:08 It's so cool. Really appreciate it. All right, guys. So, the voting's going to um finish on that one. Let's stop the poll, hide it up, get the next one loaded in. I'm now getting into the grips of it. Um, the next one, um, I don't know too much about this creator either. It's called The Offsite, and it's a threeminute piece by Elliot Mog. I believe that's how it's pronounced. I don't know. Let's check it out.
The Offsite
1:22:54 Now ship. [music] Hey, what do you think of these for next week? Fine. or these, whatever. You're going to love Costa Rica. You'll see. It's like a family vacation. It's part of our company culture. Think of it as part of your onboarding. No stress. Just be yourself. Sure.
1:23:56 Welcome everyone [music] to our annual offsite. [cheering] Don't party too hard today. We need you fresh for the trail tomorrow. I'm kidding. Let's party. Are you okay? Yeah, I'm fine. We have five more hours. Wait, I need a break. Tom. Tom, it's not funny.
1:24:51 What? [music] Who are you? What do you want? Relax. Just be yourself. Do you enjoy working in this company? Please stop. Tell us you like it. Come on. Tell us you like working with us. [music] Tell us. Yes. Yes. I love it. I love it. You made the right choice. We have a great company culture here.
1:25:43 Wow. Oh, wow. That one was pretty special. So, the votes are now open for that one. What did you think? One awesome, two okay, three not for me. For me, the pacing and the editing on that one were next level. You know, like it kept me engaged the entire three minutes with the different pacing of all of the scenes that were going on. You never were quite sure what was happening. What did you reckon? I thought that was really good. Going back to when I was saying that you a good horror story, I think AI could be made like you could do a really good horror story in that. And this is the type of thing that I think it works well for. I thought that the the again going back to the pacing, I thought the pacing was right. I like the character consistency. I like the story. Maybe that that last bit where he was all kind of like in the neck brace, they could have possibly done something different,
1:26:32 but I like I like that a lot. I think that guy is on to something. And also what I noticed at the end it said part of the AI horror something. Yes, it was uh for Curious Refuge. They're doing a competition. Be interesting if we could get some of those. Maybe for next week we're doing like a Halloween. Great idea. In fact, Dave Clark, you know, as promised, uh acquired Curious Refuge. So, they're all part of the same family now. So, we could maybe have, you know, a future live session with them as well potentially. Um it would be really cool. They've got a great YouTube channel, education you YouTube channel with Caleb. Yeah, really awesome. We need to align all the people. Fast Podcast, US, Curious Refuge, we've got the Wonder Studios, there's
1:27:18 everyone in the space now. We can do all these live streams together. Really exciting. My buddy Chris first, who was on the show last week, he's building games that we're going to live stream, you know, playing together and stuff. There's going to be so many awesome fun future in the end of this year. GTA and all of these world models and vibecoded games and it's mental personal assistant agents. It's wild. I'm dreading I'm dreading when GTA comes out because I'm not going to do any work. That's it. Like however much money I've made until the end of November's got to last me for like three or four months because I know that I'm [laughter] just going to be so focused into GTA. And the worst thing is well good thing one of my best mates he works for PlayStation. So, what I was telling him, he's like, "I'll give you this game.
1:28:04 I'll give you that game as well." And I'm like, "Ah, so I've avoided buying a PS5 for the for the time being, but I'm going to definitely get one." But I didn't realize they were so expensive. I was looking at him the other day and I was like, "£800 for a PlayStation." I was like, "Oh my god, I should have bought it when it was a lot like half the price." But yeah, I don't know if you've seen and your your mate at PlayStation definitely won't like this, but because they have talked about not releasing CDs in the future and only having digital downloads, people are porting the PS5 to PC, you know, so that you're able to play the games on PC. But the problem is is that this is highly illegal obviously and in PlayStation don't want it don't want this to be happening. But it's almost out of a revolt of the lack of CDs and being able to purchase and own as you know because it's all going to be digital games in the cloud and stuff that they
1:28:53 can take and stuff if you the re I think a big reason for the CD market is the selling on because you'll buy the resale value and then sell it on. So where you're paying50 for a game and you might be able to sell it on for 30 really that game's 20. So, by doing it all online, it's it it's obviously stopping that market. But then I've also had CDs where after a while it just doesn't work. It just keeps skipping. So, Yep. It's kind of like a best Well, both has advantages and disadvantages. Yeah. There's pros and cons to both as you say. Totally. All right. So, we've got 30 minutes left and I'm wondering we've got some longer pieces to show and I think we'll probably finish with those rather than going back to the love letters. I think we'll do some more love letters each week and uh just keep spreading them out.
1:29:43 You know, we could have a nice like news section, then love letters, then ads, then short films and music videos. Uh let's take a bit of a comedy break though. Um this one I love his stuff at the moment. Ari Krishna is one of my favorite creators. He's always doing the satire and Sam Alman and stuff and Elon Musk, anything to do with the news. He always uses this like retro style as well. Um, so this is uh his example. He just called it Mars X and it's a retro70s Mars mission satire riffing on Elon Musk. Tired of Earth? Want to start a new civilization on Mars? Um, now you can. Introducing [music] Mars X, a uh loadbearing colony where super awesome pioneers will get everything ready.
Mars X by Ari Kuschnir
1:30:35 Join us and build the backup for civilization. A backup only works if it runs without Earth. So, the whole job here is to make this place run by itself. We sold the house. I'm honored to [music] be a part of this. Then there's the looter. It connects your brain to the super intelligence. The uh the big computer that runs every robot here is there to help you. At first, the more it helps, the more it can do. The super intelligence runs hot. It needs a lot of [music] cooling. Now, Mars has water. It's just very, very deep. So, we found an alternative solution. Think of yourself as the first stage. We like [music] humans. They were necessary. It's hardcore.
1:31:21 You know, there there are some drawbacks, but it's really fun. Low water alert. Low water alert. Thank you for your service and sacrifice. We said we'd make life multilanetary. We didn't say who's. [music]
1:32:21 [music] Take it. Don't get up. [music] Wow. I don't know why it keeps removing us from the stage. I think something's going on with the interface. But the voting is now open for that one, guys. What did you think?
1:33:08 Hilarious sideburns Elon Musk. That was so funny. Honestly, seeing that retro tech as well, you know, imagined as the newer link and stuff, I thought it was genius. He's so funny with his satire. Honestly, I thought that was really good in the sense that he's saying this is what's going to happen in the future, but let me set it back in the 60s. I thought that was quite a smart the way he put that together. Exactly. Oh, said he think he's done a sequel to this one just the other day. Oh, really? He's We've got to get him on for a creative session. He is genius. We've watched so many of his parodies now. We watched the opening eye dots one. We've watched other ones. Really fun. Retro Tech. Exactly. California girl. It's brilliant. And that that just seeing him open up with his buck teeth and his sideburns and it sounds
1:33:55 like him and you're like that's hilarious. I'm in. Oh man, I love it. Right, let's keep going. So, we're getting into some longer stuff now. Um, again, thank you so much for everyone submitting to the show. Really, really appreciate it. The ailive.com, find the submit link at the top. This one was submitted to us by Levi Foster and it's called System Memory. And this one I haven't watched all the way through. So, it's going to be a live reaction from everyone here. It's a five minute piece. So, strap in.
System Memory by Levi Foster
1:35:27 [music] [music] [music] Heat. [music]
1:36:16 [music] Heat. [music] Wait, I want [music] to be [music] [music]
1:37:06 [music] [music] [music] [music] I [music] need [laughter] [music] Happy birthday.
1:37:58 Happy birthday. [singing] [music] Happy birthday. [laughter] Make a wish. Make a wish. [music] [music] Happy birthday. [music]
1:39:06 [music] [music] Whoa, that was really intense. Like, exactly. Yeah, like the perspective of an AI memory bank that never existed. It was all making. But I kind of like creative where you're guessing what's going on and you know it doesn't have to be so on the nose because advertising has to be on the nose you know and I kind of like the refreshing film making where you can just do stuff like that but to me that was a bit drawn out you know a little bit too drawn out
1:39:52 potentially um could have got over the same sort of messaging in a slightly shorter format I think but interesting visually just interesting all around like found footage lost memory makes you think about lots of the future of AI becoming potentially conscious and having memories and all this stuff. Weird, huh? With a couple of tweaks that could be a really good horror film as well. Yeah, that's what I thought. I thought it was leading to a horror film honestly because I hadn't watched that whole thing. I wondered whether there would be some twist, you know, where it was uh a person had had uploaded their consciousness to an AI and this was the weird fragmented sort of like history that it it was looking at or I wondered if there would be some twist like that, but no, it seems not.
1:40:39 But also good creative is cuz California Girl just said, "I didn't read it that way. More like how everything is in the ether." And I think it's creative in the sense that you see something one way and other people will see it in another way. Unless it's like completely confusing, but I I really like that. I really like that it creates that. Yeah. How did it end? True art, right? You take your own interpretation from that. Uh really really interesting. Love the ambiguity there. Even saying people, you know, and that's a very interesting thing compared to the very on these stuff. Like I say, we watch a lot of advertising and stuff that's very productled and very obvious what it is. And then there's that which is the complete opposite end of the spectrum. Open open to complete interpretation. Yeah, that's the key. Open to interpretation.
1:41:29 All right, guys. Let's hide up the poll for that one. We have 15 minutes left. Um, which is interesting. Let's There's two really long pieces that we had come in. Now, I'm going to put this up to a a quick poll in the chat and we'll push the next one on to the next week. Um, one is a liveaction, The Legend of Zelda. So, if you want to watch that one, it's a six minute piece. We will uh vote that in the comments now. Otherwise, we have a short film called They Came When We Left, which is an eight minute piece, and it's a really interesting film that we'll definitely watch in another week if you would prefer to watch Legend of Zelda, but let us know
Zelda or a short film? The chat picks the closer
1:42:15 in the chat which one you'd like to uh so put one Zelda or two for the other one. Exactly. Short film or Zelda live action. Yeah. So, Zelda one, short film two. So, I'm gonna Lisa's going for the short film. Glenn's going for the short film. Andrew's going for the short film. Right. We'll we'll push Legend of Zelda on for next week then because clearly we've got some twos coming in straight away for the short film. Jimmy Jimmy's a Zelda fan. He wants it straight away. Oh, we got another vote for one. All right, we'll give it a minute or so, 30 more seconds to get some votes in. You can uh let us know which one we can close the show out with. Oh, what a We've got through so many videos this week, mate. I just can't I like these I like these episodes when we watch a lot of videos.
1:43:02 Rapid fire, right? Out of everything that you've seen, what stood out to you the most? What video did you like the most? Well, I'm super excited about the stuff that we've got upcoming. You know, the trailers I felt were were really good. Knowing that someone that did Celebrity Death Match is getting into AI is very exciting. The Paul Trillo one where it's just a beautiful style. I can't wait to see what I'm really impressed with a lot of it this week, you know, like even the love letters were awesome, you know, and to Toby's one and Ryan's one really stood out for me there. What about you? I think it was the and it's more to do with the story behind it and that is the celebrity death match just because I used to love that on MTV um when that used to be on. So when I saw that I was like ah
1:43:50 this is gonna be interesting. Um, but he didn't say he was recreating Celebrity Death Match. He said he was doing something else. Yes, exactly. Um, it's just that you know him as the creator death match. Yeah. I thought it'd be good if he brings back. I wonder where the rights are for that, you know, like did it Yeah, cuz with when MTV died, did it die with MTV or like, you know, who knows? Quick question to everyone who's in the States. Is MTV still on in the States? And it is still on here. It's just they just got rid of cuz they used to have like MTV bass and MTV like one or MTV hits. So I think they've got rid of all of that and they've just got MTV but um it's it's not music. They just play it's just reality TV. So but I wonder but then again they they had the MTV awards the other day.
1:44:39 Did they? Yeah I'm sure they had the MTV awards the other day and Rihanna won Lifetime Achievement Award. Why did I say it was cancelled then? or is it coming to be cancelled or is it like phasing? I remember watching the video. I don't know. Yeah, let me see. MTV. Yeah, still the website's still there. Still around. Yes, Eric, that was a really good bit of context there. Actually, the love letters were created in just one day. So, the creativity in one day was really astounding. So, you've got to put that into context. All the other things we watched, we could have, you know, had an infinite timeline, but those specifically had to be made within like a 6 to 8 hour window, as well as Dreamina going down for an hour and a half of that, which made a lot of people panic. And we'll keep watching those in the future. Um, like I said, if you've seen more Love Letters in your timeline,
1:45:29 send them our way. We're going to have a slot in the show for them in the next coming weeks because we got a hundred of them to get through if we want to. But yeah, amazing stuff. But yeah, the votes have come in anyway and it looks like we're going to be watching the film. So, I need to find out more about this because uh like I said, strap in. It's a full 8 and a half minutes. They came when we left. Short film. Let's check it out. They came when we left [bell] from all [music] corners of the universe. And then they stayed. What was ours became theirs. [music and singing] They found beauty which we have abandoned. And in that beauty they found peace.
They Came When We Left
1:46:19 And with time our world became theirs.
1:47:07 [bell] We've left traces of ourselves everywhere. They could only guess what any of it meant.
1:47:57 So they filled in the missing pieces [music] themselves. Do you think they would have liked us? I'd like to think so. They must have had a lot of love to leave something so beautiful. They celebrated us like old friends, though we've never once met. [music] [music] And every traveler who
1:48:43 heard the bell knew one thing. Someone was waiting for them. Why? So no one would ever arrive unnoticed. So everyone could come out and greet them. To the others they were stories. to Neo. They were something to follow. I think you'll like it. Everyone, wake up.
1:49:33 They're coming. It's only a star, my boy. But I really saw them [music] [music] [bell]
1:50:18 Come on. Come on. Can't. Bring them back with a bell. I know. Then why? [music] Because they are kind.
1:51:06 And maybe they are waiting for us to call them home. I understand. [music] [music] [music]
1:51:55 [music] Are you coming? [music] [music] [music] of [music] you still. [music]
1:52:46 [music] [clears throat] [singing] [music] [music] Welcome home.
1:53:34 Welcome home. Welcome home. Welcome home. Welcome home. They welcomed us back with open arms. [music] But humanity has never been good at sharing. [music] If we couldn't have the earth for ourselves, [bell] then neither could they. So we made sure no one ever would. [music]
1:54:22 Wow. Save. You remember that older saying, save the best till last? Well, that was the best of the show in my opinion. Very powerful. Very powerful. Votes are now open. Um, what did you guys think? One, amazing. Two, okay, three, not my cup of tea. For me, that was truly breathtaking. Uh, wonderful storytelling. Those character designs were some of the most amazing, intricate looking characters. So unique as well. Um, I think we may need to invite uh that creator on for his own creator session cuz that was next level. I saw also that there was a comment um from Miriam saying that she watched this when judging for the big screen hack. So that that's interesting to see.
1:55:11 I didn't know cuz I didn't do the film side of that. I did the advertising judging on that one. Um good to see that that one was in there. Blown away. California girl says me too actually. That one really was visually insane. Stunning storytelling. Great pacing though, you know, from a really talented director. You can tell that that person really cares about storytelling and, you know, really enriching characters and making great edits there. Beautiful stuff. Like I said, probably my favorite of the whole show right at the end there. Really powerful. Good one to finish with. Sorry that we can't see your name. In previous episodes, we've talked about certain users on LinkedIn in certain countries don't get their name visible through the studio.
1:55:57 So, really sorry it says LinkedIn user there, but uh we appreciate you tuning in. Love the music too. Yeah, great point. Actually, I didn't even mention the music, which I usually comment on every episode, but that was really haunting. All so beautiful, you know, like the the really high like like stuff. It was just like it got me there. And I was looking at the characters going I would just love to see the character sheets on this one, you know? They just look so visually stunning. Each one of the characters. Merchandise. Merchandise. Exactly, man. Imagine all of those like, you know, characters that you could have integrated elsewhere. And which one would be your favorite and stuff and you could collect them. Oh man, the the Yeah.
1:56:46 Oh, this person could create a world of books, merchandise, video games, and a lot more. So early. Cool. I saw some inspiration there, you know, kind of like it felt like Kareem's style a little bit with his Voyager 7. I saw some other sort of people's, you know, I I feel like it was a really nice blend of stuff we've seen in the past, but also a totally fresh take on everything as well and unique storytelling. So, yeah, Gregorian Chance. Yes, that's what they would be called. Wow. If that didn't if that didn't win the big screen hack, I would be very surprised in their category because that was truly incredible. Um, great show guys. Honestly, we've raped fired this week. Oh man, thank you Grockbot as well.
1:57:31 I'm going to give Grockbot a shout out. He really nailed it and hopefully the feedback that it gets for the next show makes it even better curations for next week. And no creator session tomorrow. Um, the one that I had planned in, I'm actually going to have to delay due to some ongoing housing stuff I've got going on at the moment. But hopefully we can get these creative sessions more stable in the future. We're definitely going to link up with the Fast Hours podcast guys and everyone else to do um a special episode as well. Congrats again on 100K. It's crazy. 100K subs. It's like amazing. It makes you a full time. You're going to get a plaque, guys. I want to see the plaque in the back of your uh Do you both get a plaque or does one of you get a plaque?
1:58:18 You're gonna have to share the pla split the plaque in half. [laughter] [clears throat] But everyone in the chat, thank you again for making it a really good week, another great session and looking forward to seeing you guys next week. Don't forget to check out the website if you have if you want to put anything you want to send anything to us. If you want to check out what we've played, who's done it, who um it was, find out more about the creators, etc. Check out the website, the ailiveshow.com. And if you see the little burger menu now, there's so much more to the website than there even was like before this weekend. Truthfully, Claude is just helping endlessly. And each creator session now has their own really rich page with all the quotes that they left and all of that stuff. So go check it out. Again, congrats to you, Zero AI Studio.
1:59:06 100,000 plus plays on your stuff. No, millions of plays. It's mental, man. It's mental. Big love to you. Well, good. Great to have you back, Andrew, as well. And we'll hopefully be back next week. Yeah, I'm here next week as well. So, yeah, I'm always here. If I'm not here, guys, it's usually cuz I'm traveling. That's the only reason why. or I'm training. Other than that, I'm always here. So, looking forward to next week. Or the British government screwed up your travel somehow or you know, like cuz that often happens. Yep. [laughter] All right. Fingers crossed I'm not like that in the next weeks. Yeah. [laughter] All right, everyone. Take care. See you. Cheers.
