Kling 3.0 drops: who can use it, and where?

0:02 Hello. Hello. Hopefully people are hearing me. Andrew tells me that he's just on the way. So, I haven't had my green room checked to know if I am being heard. Please, somebody in the comments, leave me a comment to say if you can hear me okay and then I'll be okay. How's everybody doing? Let me know where in the world you're tuning in from. If this is your first time, uh, or whereabouts you are. Yes, you can hear me. Thank you so much, Anita. Appreciate that. Thank you very much. Great to see you back. Oakland, awesome. You can hear us from Atlanta. Awesome. The Blessing Report. Thank you so much for tuning in.

0:51 Brilliant stuff. How's everybody doing? I'm going to show the comments on the stage so that you can all see each other. West of Boston. Loving it. Hey Danny, how's it going man? Congrats again on last week. That was one of the best things we've ever watched on this show. And I mean that with uh all respect. Uh we've watched thousands of things now on this show. And it was just so well put together. Masterpiece. San Francisco. Let's go. NJUSA, Marbella, Spain, New York City. Eric, what's going on? What a crazy week it's been.

1:37 Winston, congratulations, man, on getting a feature this week. Thank you so much for sending me your piece. Really excited to showcase that later. Oh, how's it going, Evangelia? Thank you so much for tuning in. Congrats also on the features. I've seen the recent one you've sent me. Thanks so much for that. I've got that scheduled in for the post tomorrow. Sweden in the house. Let's go. Yes, it does actually show your profile now. So, don't look all anonymous. I don't know why that happens, Thomas. Apparently, we've heard from Portugal and other places that people tune in from it's a specific thing as to the countries and I don't know why that anonymity happens specifically in Streamyard because obviously in LinkedIn we can see your stuff but then here in StreamYard it doesn't bring you through. Hey Miriam, how's it going?

2:26 Hospital in Cheshire. Oh, Michelle, I'm so sorry to hear that. And uh thank you so much for tuning in. And I'm in Cheshire as well. That's crazy. In Chester and I've just been back and forth from the hospital with my young baby. Hello Diana. How's it going? Michigan. Is it cold there? I've heard it's very cold still over in uh New York. I was so glad to get out when I did honestly. kind of crazy. My friend Rory Flynn, who I talked to a lot, um he was sending me pictures of just how piled up the snow was and I was like, "Oh my god, this is incredible." Hey, from Dubai. Let's go. Eth, hello from Chile, Sweden. Yes, it's rather chilly everywhere, isn't it? In England, we haven't got it too bad right now, especially not compared to New York where I just left.

3:19 Hey, Claire, how's it going? Johannesburg, South Africa. Let's go. It was a privacy setting on LinkedIn, it turned out. Oh, that's very interesting. I will certainly pass that on, especially to someone here who just says LinkedIn user. Turns out it might be a privacy setting within your LinkedIn account that's not pulling your name through here. Leon Hospital, it's my mom been here five weeks now. Well, so nice that you can be there to support your mom. Yes, if you don't uh if you're not able to stay on for the feedback, mate, I will definitely send you on uh the time stamp. Obviously, this is recorded session and as soon as we're done with the live, it will reroll and I'll just tell you when abouts we played it if you're not able to watch it.

4:05 But I will make a note to try and play it early. Um especially because it is a music video. So, we usually like to kick off the show with some nice jazzy stuff. In fact, let's do it, guys. Um let me know what you're excited about this week. Hey, Big Al's in the chat. Let's go. Just seen him pop in. Glad to be watching. Ah, Big Al. Good man. Ontario, Canada in the house, Emily as well. In the middle of an AI job, but following on the second screen. Don't tell anyone. I won't tell anyone. Ralph, I won't tell your clan that you're tuning in. Pakistan in the house. Hey, Megan's dropped in as well. Good to be back. Good to be back. I'm sorry that you've had a horrible chest infection. Oh, that's horrible. So many people have been poorly lately. Paul, my co-founder, and his whole family have had flu

4:54 and uh yeah, we've had chickenpox with my son and yeah, foot and mouth. Not not fun. Yes, cling three. That is the thing that everyone's talking about seemingly in the last 48 hours at least because it only really got released uh in certain places as well. It turns out from our WhatsApp group, we've been looking um apparently it's in Art List and it's in uh Higsfield and it's in Fowl and it's available to the top subscriber Tiers of Clling, but it's not in all of the places yet. Andrew's on his way, Theresa. He's uh running actually as it turns out. Uh 15 minutes late, but he said he's going to drop in as soon as he's back.

5:41 He's a busy boy at the moment. Very busy. Hey, what's going on? Thanks so much for tuning in. What a legend. I'm going to be seeing you very soon, mate. And uh something I wanted to ask you actually is, are you going to be at the Chroma Awards in London next week as well as Bionic? Um if you are, then it might be a great chance to catch up with you there as well as Bionic. Really excited. Heading down to London a lot more this year. A lot more award shows. Yeah, we've been going through it too, Megan. And it's been crazy in the house. And I felt so bad because I left over to New York and then left my wife and the kids together for the first time. Um, and they were ill. And that's the worst possible time to get ill, isn't it?

6:26 It's just an unfortunate thing. But what can you do? What can you do? I'm trying to just keep good spirits about it, honestly. Hey, massive respect, man. Actually, I've got one of your pieces. Um, I've seen that you made something with Cling 3 really quickly. If you wanted to send me the higher resolution version of it because Dave and others have sent me uh the higher resolution of Mirror, um, it would be awesome to see the high-res version on the live show. If you have the time, I know you're on your break, but if you don't have the time, don't worry. I've already got a version to showcase today, but obviously getting the high-res version is always the best. And yes, see you at Chroma. Oh man, I'm so excited now. Oh god, I've been asking around to see who's going to be coming to Chroma.

7:14 Yes, let's go. Ooh, a new spatial feature. Martini spatial feature. That is a one to check out. Very exciting. Obviously, Genie 3 was something we didn't quite get to last week because essentially it was all kicking off right after the live show. Actually, it turned out um I tuned into Wonder Studios and Justin Hackne and he'd made his own GTA London and he was running around. He's his own character and I was like, "This is crazy." So maybe a future live stream with them or maybe if not with them, just doing it ourselves where we literally prompt Genie 3 Worlds and use your image to videos as workflows and then explore the world for 60 seconds. Could be a really cool live experience to be honest with you.

Could a Genie 3 world become a live show?

8:02 Hey, cheers buddy. I really appreciate that. Yeah, things like this happen and it's just about, you know, trying to get over it with your sanity in check. Honestly, Megan, especially you when you lose your voice, I imagine, you know, trying to discuss with clients and stuff, it becomes particularly difficult. So, you just cope in any way you can. And honestly, I do um a lot of voice stuff uh like cuz I do so many workshops and talks and this live show and stuff like that. And I found that like goggling salt water and like honey, lemon, and ginger and all sorts of things can really help to loosen up uh your throat when you're really really suffering. So I've found little remedies here and there to get me by. Yes, it's almost everywhere and will be added on free pick today, but it is on Imagine Art Wee.

8:52 Oh, it's been added to Weevie. I didn't see that yet. I actually checked weev yesterday and I couldn't see it. So that's really good. Art list and more. One of the things that I thought was particularly curious and interesting, especially I'd love to hear your guys' thoughts on this is they obviously only launched it to their top tier subscribers. Um, but then they actually have an API that's available the next day to pretty much everybody. So it felt like a little bit of an opportunity lost there in terms of or maybe they were just trying to not on board everyone at the same time and stage the roll out so that they didn't get choked in the servers. I've heard from a lot of people actually that they're having a lot of failed generations and uh long Q wait times at the moment sadly. If anyone else is experiencing that definitely let me know.

9:43 Yeah, as I said though, probably going to kick it off with um a music video or two and uh just to get the vibe right as Andrew is coming in. And yeah, I've got quite a few ones to show. Actually, maybe we should even get started with a bit of comedy. I bet everybody's been seeing this in their timeline today. It's a Super Bowl ad that's going to be uh going out live. Basically, Anthropics made it about mocking ads in Chachi BT. Let's check them out. [music] How do I communicate better with my mom? Great question. Improve communication with your mom can bring you closer. Here are some techniques you can try. Start by listening.

Anthropic's Claude Super Bowl ads

10:29 Really hear what she's trying to say underneath her words. Build conversation from points of agreement. Find a connection through shared activity. Perhaps a nature walk. Or if the relationship can't be fixed, find emotional connection with other older women on Golden Encounters, the mature dating site that connects sensitive cubs with Roaring Cougars. What? Would you like me to create your profile? [music] What's the difference between me and you? Me and you. Me and you. [music] I thought this whole series was honestly quite genius.

11:15 Um, the song choice, what's the difference between me and you? I believe it's Mother London who's actually the agency behind this that Claude has uh essentially asked for this and the tone and everything is brilliant. I did see a snapback by Sam Alman saying essentially that you know we don't have the same problems as in like there's more people in Texas that use chat GPT for free than entire uh anthropic clawed user base but you know scale of the problems or not and Pepsi versus Coke type situation or not that is a brilliant way to do these ads. Let's watch some more of them because they released four of these and they're one minute long. Uh let's watch some backtoback. Hilarious stuff.

12:02 Hey, can I get a six-pack quickly? Perfect. That is a clear and achievable goal. Would you like me to tailor a personalized workout plan? Yes. Perfect. Let me personalize this for you. Let's start with your age, weight, and height. Whenever you're ready. 5'7, 23 years old, 140 lb. Got it. I'll create a plan that focuses on aesthetic strength training. But confidence isn't just built in the gym. Tricep Boost Max. The insoles that add one vertical inch of height and help short kings stand tall. What? Use code height maxing 10 for big discounts.

12:53 What's the difference between me and you? Me and you. I honestly laugh every time I see these. Let's keep going. Let's watch another one. [music] I feel like I'm just going in circles. I Is my essay making a clear argument? Absolutely. Your point of view is fresh, well thought out, and rich in research. I didn't use too many quotes. Absolutely not. Your quotes help build a thought-provoking piece. From our previous conversation, I've noticed that the deadline for this essay is due today.

13:39 So, why not cherish this unforgettable occasion with Luna Momento Jewelry with 10% off charms this weekend? What? Place your order today for free personalized engraving. [music] What's the difference between [music] me and you? Me and you. Me and you. So, what do you think? Absolutely. That's such a fun and creative business idea. You've got something really special here. Getting started can feel daunting. I can make a step-by-step mini business plan. Do you want me to do that? Yeah, absolutely.

14:26 Here's some steps you can take. One, research. Really get to know your audience. Two, think of a catchy name and start your social presence early. Three, new businesses often struggle with cash flow. So, try Quick Dash Payday Loans because girl bosses need CEO money quick. 400% APR rates may vary, possibly doubling or tripling without notice. What would you like to make a quick credit check? What's the difference [music] between me and you? Me and you. Hey, look who's dropped in. Hey. Hey. All right. What's going on? Yeah. Good. And I came into one of my favorite ads at the moment that Claude

Andrew joins: ads inside AI and Black Mirror

15:15 I just we just watched four of them back to back. Uh I've only seen two of them. I posted one on LinkedIn and then the one that you just showed. But I think those ads Did you ever watch um uh Netflix? Did you ever watch Black Mirror on Netflix? Uh yes I did. I remember someone commenting about the episode of the girl that had to basically subscribe uh or what was it? Uh, I haven't actually seen that episode, but it was basically if she didn't subscribe, then something was happening. No. So, basically what it was, without trying to spoil it, she died and then what happened was is that to keep her back to bring her back to life, you could put some form of technology in her. And to start with, it was

16:00 um it was fine. Like the free plan was fine or whatever they paid. But then because they she they only paid the minimum, there was going to be ads within what she was saying. Oh my god. That she was a school teacher. So she would go to school and it would offend like kids and stuff. So she ended up having to lose that. And then and then it was to get rid of that you need to be on this. And it's just a really good episode. So if anyone who's in the chat and hi everyone, I'm seeing the hell's. Hi everyone. I'm sorry I'm late. Um, but it's a really good episode and it's the last season, the first episode of the last season. And the guy who plays it, it's an Irish guy. He's a funny comedian. He's really good. I like him. And it had um Quincy Jones's daughter. She was in The Office. She was in um Blackish and a couple of other films.

16:46 She was in the Social Network film as well. Really good. Yeah. Megan saw the episode as well. References. Yeah. Great. Great episode. Really creative ads as Anita said and uh it was mother. Exactly. Eric David as as Eric asked who made these. Mother London is the agency behind it. Getting lots of love for Andrew in the comments. We were missing you earlier, mate. Everyone was asking. I've just downloaded uh Uncanny Harry's piece. He's he's in the chat and he sent it to me in LinkedIn. So, we've got high res version. And I'm going to miss you at Chroma next week, which is really annoying because you're in London apparently just after, aren't you? Yeah. But yeah, so I'm I'm going back. I'm in London now and then we tag you come to London and then when you leave I'm back in London again.

17:36 So tag team for London, mate. We're just we're just tagging it. Yeah. So Danny got it. Yeah. Danny Ratcliffe said it. Rashida Jones, Quincy Jones's daughter. She's the one she's the actress in it. Really really good. That's the one. Upload is amazing too for that. Great series. Yep. I'm gonna check that one out. Ones to watch. Ones to watch, mate. We got so much this week. Everyone's been doing like Cling stuff straight away. It turns out right. Cling's CPP is very smart. They chose the right people to get early access. And so Dave has made a film. Uncanny Harry's made a film. And they've all had it, you know, like a few weeks prior. Makes sense. It's really smart. And actually, we've got another really smart thing to talk about today in that

Why Kling gave early access to the right creators

18:21 remember Cavan the Kid, the the guy with amazing sound design. So, Free Pick have actually picked up his series and they're calling it now a Freepick original series. So, we're going to see extended episodes of his show basically with Freepic sponsoring as an original series kind of like a Netflix thing which we predicted. Remember we said these people could actually own this content and and you know fund it for the next go and that's what's happening. interesting this is happening because again going back I remember when I was at MySpace and we funded a season that was somebody was doing something and we ended up funding it and we called it my a MySpace original and BBO done the same with a really popular show back in the day and I can't remember what it was called but it was a really popular

19:09 it wasn't Gossip Girl but it was something like that type of thing. So, it seems like what's going to happen is 20 years later that cycle is going to like repeat itself. It's funny, isn't it? Because it's a win-win for these places if you think about it. Because in this situation, his series has already already become popular. So, it's not a gamble to like fund something that you don't know. It's already taking something popular. Yeah. In demand, ready to go. Oh my god. He only got access on Saturday, so maybe it isn't as prepared as I thought it was. [gasps] That explains a lot actually in terms of the I saw Dave saying on his piece Ryan that you know he could have corrected a lot more physics issues and stuff um given a bigger time and uh bigger you know squad basically to do his things.

19:57 So yeah of course everyone when we're watching your stuff we will be aware that you only had a few days to prepare it but yeah it is unbelievable um actually unbelievable. I'd say definitely the number one now. Uh because it's what's called an AIO, which is an all-in-one model essentially. You know, it's wrapped up all sorts of stuff like omni and everything else like that. Character reference, multi-shot, and it's got got 15 seconds of output, which is putting it in its league of its own. And uh yeah. Oh, Dave has made his in three days. Of course. Crazy cuz it came out yesterday and then Dave had I've done a video already and I was thinking and I said this yesterday's when I do like my Zoom session yesterday and I said how has he done it so quick? Well, inside baseball they've had it since Saturday but I guessed it was weeks.

20:48 I guessed it was weeks, you know, because it should be really if it was organized it would be weeks but it's clearly not been that well organized or it's been like really locked down, you know. They don't want it to escape. Um, maybe that was why they only got it on Saturday, you know, cuz it's such a big release that maybe it could have leaked some stuff or something like that. That's the only thing kind of like GTA, you know, it's just locked that stuff down. Yeah. This is the first big release of 2026. Yeah. Yes. There's that that whole MB book thing that was being out recently, but I think of the big names that's around, not just in the video space, just in the generative AI space, I think this was the first big release. And now that this has happened, I can see a lot more. And it's interesting they've done it the weekend before Super Bowl.

21:35 I know. I thought that too. I actually did think that. And you know, so many people are like hyped to have it. You know, all the Artless and Wee and all that that was mentioned earlier. Like that's the one that they're all going, you know, you've got to come and use this. It's the most insane model out there. And Megan's saying in the chat, by the way, that she's going to be on the final rounds of the V8 for MidJourney, which will be a really big thing. Uh, me too. Finished it Monday. Oh my god. And yeah, can't wait from the midjourney people. We're all midjourney OGs. I think we all started there. When I was in Art List, I asked everybody, you know, what was your first wow moment with AI? Everybody [clears throat] said midjourney version 4, like everybody. It's crazy. Version four. Yes, it was the big thing. It was a big jump.

What was your first wow moment with AI?

22:20 Yeah. Yeah. V3 to V4 was like really, wow, this thing's like amazing now. You know, everyone in the chat, what was your first big wow moment? Yeah, I'd love to know. For me was when we first got into it because I remember you said to me, "Oh, there's this site called Midjourney." This must have been Midjourney 1. This would have been what, 2022? Oh, yeah. It was super early. It was like at least Midjourney 2, but um we we actually look back, me and Rory, and when we were in in New York, like because that's the great thing about Mid Journey is you kind of look back at your folders that you made really early on. And yeah, we were trying two and three, but the real breakthroughs in four were like a digital portraits and then five was like photo realism. And then we said, where can we go from there?

23:06 Really, it turned out Nano Banana was the big key missing part, you know, the editability. And uh Winston's making a great point here. By the way, I was sent a piece by Mark Isle, who we're going to have on the show, and is actually I talk to him a lot now. Um, he's working with Rock and the Gen HQ community. And because he's got early access to stuff like VidU, he actually sent me this, which is his first test of VidU. And it actually looks pretty cool. Look at this. [screaming] The wait is over. Welcome to VU Q3. So just a really quick test, but the like you know the animation on the sun, the stuff that's a bit like Niji is kind of like MidJourneys animation version of.

Vidu Q3 first test

23:51 So kind of cool to see the differences there. Yeah, fascinating stuff, mate. And I saw this one talking about like um just updates cuz I I skipped that part really just to say hi to the audience in the beginning. I should go through some of the literal updates. So, Runway added this called motion brush or motion sketch I think it's called actually. Ever wish you could scribble a prompt instead of writing it? Now you can with motion sketch. Head to runwayml.com, click apps, then create video, then hit motion sketch and upload your image. Then click sketch on image. Identify action in specific areas. Create paths for your subjects. Draw arrows to direct action. There's really no wrong way. Once you're ready, click export sketch and then hit generate.

Runway Motion Sketch

24:38 Now your generation should reflect your sketching direction. When you can see it in your head, why not show it and tell it? It's an effective way to get from idea to exactly what you imagined. Try it today at runwayml.com. Very cool. So just an app there it looks like within runway that's uh doing something interesting and something um they did something like it but it was more like motion brush um whereas this is like motion sketch you know you can essentially like draw in an explosion and then have that appear whereas before the motion brush was kind of like you know Rory's example was he had two robins on a branch and he wanted one robin to move to the other side of the other robin so he basically painted in the motion

25:28 through that arrows and stuff like that. This is kind of different in that it's like more like video in painting I guess. A way to control that essentially. Um yeah, very cool, isn't it? Especially if you're into runway and in the CPP and yeah, the last thing I wanted to show on the tech demo side of things is um I talked about it last week and I didn't have the demo video, but this is a new brand new workflow called audio to video. Essentially how it works is you upload your starting frame. You also upload your clip of audio and then you describe through text where the audio should appear. And then this is a great little demonstration video I saw someone put.

Audio to video: a new workflow

26:16 You probably weren't expecting me to sound like this. But that's the beautiful thing about [music] innovation. You think you've heard it all before. Every cliffhanger and every twist. Every revolution to [music] how you work. But then it hits you suddenly. Like an uncontrollable urge to sing [music] out on the vibes. And when you can't seem to find the words, get creative. [screaming] [crying] Well, I really just wanted to give you [music] something to

27:08 get you hooked because sometimes it's not what you say, but how you say it. Cool, huh? That's really good. I can see some really creative potential with that. Actually, I actually think 2026 when it comes to videos, we're going to see a lot of I won't say a divide, but I think this year is going to be the year where the quality will go up, of course, but it's going to be about editing. I think the edit how you edit videos is going to be a big part of 100% mate. In fact, actually Uncanny Harry is the video to video guy, you know, like acting and being his own characters and being in front of the camera just like this, you know, and taking his mouth movements instead of waiting for the mouth movements to be perfect through the AI.

27:54 Instead, he's actually giving it, you know, video to video transfer of how the mouth movement should look like and stuff. So, yeah, it's all about control. But, you know what's interesting? So, video, what platform? That's a great point. I think you just got to look up A22V audio to video and I think it will be a workflow that's available in a few different platforms soon. So we're seeing early demonstrations of it but you know that's one that particularly interests me because why I'm sitting on thousands of samples of audio you know which because of my background it and no doubt if you're a director you're sitting on thousands of hours of video content you know driving videos they call it. So, it's whatever your sort of like discoraphy is is now you've got a workflow for that which is great.

28:42 Yeah. And yeah, I'm not sure about that. If anyone can check actually whilst we're live and let me know where you found that audio to video thing. I saw it on X via a random user. So, sadly I didn't see a platform attached. I'm surprised actually there wasn't an outro advising of the platform to use that through. Yeah. Uh which maybe it was a user generated piece rather than like from a brand. It's the only way I can explain that. Yeah. So weird. It didn't say where it was. I know. I tell you, mate, we've got to be topical though. Super Bowl, right? One one thing I saw, right? And this is a really hot I want to get your opinion on this. There's a big debate on the biggest Super Bowl ad whether it used AI or not. And they claim no. Uh because the feedback was that clearly it looks like it's a AI.

Did Xfinity's Jurassic Park Super Bowl ad use AI?

29:31 Now, the reason that that the claim is is because they deaged the actors. You'll know all the actors, uh, because it's probably one of the most famous movies of all time, Jurassic Park. Um, a brand basically, you know, made their own version of it, but the deaging debate about AI is ongoing. You know, whether they use traditional CGI, VFX, or they used AI to deage these guys. But I wanted to show it and get the opinion of everyone watching because if you're watching the Super Bowl, this is no doubt one of the biggest ads you'll see. What [music] did I touch? Don't touch anything. We're We're stopped. Senses are failing all over the park.

30:18 John, I can't get Jurassic [music] Park back online without Whoa, this place is awesome. By the way, you should have plugged this in. [music] I think we're back in business, guys. That could have been bad. So, we're good. Well, this [music] is going to be a lovely weekend. How did you do this? I'll show you. [music] That salt scrump made me feel 33 years younger. Are you getting [music] the signal out here? Oh, thank you, Grace. Yes. Uh, Wi-Fi

31:05 finds a way. I'll take it. My arms are longer to the roar [music] again. [music] That is one big pile of shrimp. Mr. Hammond, after careful consideration, I've decided to happily endorse your park. [music] A whole new species of Wi-Fi at the same price for 5 years. Hey, little guy. Nope. [snorts] Brilliant premise, huh?

31:51 Imagine the budget for that, mate. Getting all the actors together, getting the license for the IP, getting your product right to solve the problem, which is the twist of everyone's having a good day cuz Exfinity solved the Jurassic Park breakdown. It's insane. When I watched it, first of all, I thought it was a great ad. I thought it was a really great ad. Now I look at that and I think all right let's let's look at the flip side. What do people complain about? Okay, when it comes to AI, people complain that you used AI where they could have got real people to do it. That seems to be like what happened with the McDonald's advert of the Christmas event. [clears throat] So you look at that and you think to yourself, all right, did they get the real actors there? Yeah, they did and daged them. So that's kind of like the first thing. So they would have got that. Then you've got obviously all of the the dinosaurs and and all of the other stuff that uh you had there.

32:44 Was that AI or was that VFX? Yeah. You see, everybody is saying it's probably so good that it was CGI or VFX, but the thing is is the second comment he said is AI can do this. And so AI can do this. So why would they spend that much money for the VFX when AI could do that? So that's where you kind of look at it and they say it might be yeah we didn't use AI on the actors but they might have used AI on little bits. Uh so yeah as Lara said or Laura said that would cost money a lot of and I think Danny brings up a great point here. You know the fallout would be severe if they admitted it was AI and you know that's what I think. Yeah. when remember when uh Dave and other people came on, they actually told us, you know, inside baseball stuff about like real Hollywood directors that have

33:35 created pseudonyames, kind of character names, so that they don't know that they're doing it. And um that's going to be the very same for big Hollywood uh places as well as agencies. They're going to be denying it and adding it to their pipeline and getting caught out for it uh and only admitting it when they're caught essentially. But yeah, I just thought I'd rage the debate a bit more because the debate goes on. We're in these times, mate, where AI is so good that you're in it like, oh, did it, didn't it? Could they? Couldn't they? You know, like it's uh it's it's pretty amazing times, honestly. Yeah. Forget the AI. It was just a good ad. A very creative ad. Exactly. Yeah. Talking. So think to myself, did the creative idea just come this year or was did somebody have the idea

34:25 years ago but they couldn't get either the permission or the technology to do it which then says they get permission and they got technology to do it now. Yeah. So it's Yeah, we're in these times aren't we? And uh I actually saw like um a few people now have put up milliondoll prize money. If you can prove that like this was Luma Labs for example uh if you can win a gold cans lion and prove that you use luma for 70% of it then they'll give you a million dollars you know. So there's actually now this challenge and a bar being set by the companies themselves of go on to do something at this level and we will reward you for being the first

A million dollars for an award-winning AI ad

35:10 uh which is you know it just shows it's going to accelerate it even more because big agencies will now go for that you know um I don't think it's going to be within the reach of an individual sadly uh although to be fair in like lesser categories in the can's lions awards like B2B for example then maybe there's less stiff competition, but uh it's be very hard to win in the film categories or something when you're against giant great companies. Uh still though, um it is remarkable what individuals can do. I've been sitting on some amazing panels lately. So, I want to showcase some stuff that we all have never found any other way. And I'm really excited to show this stuff actually because it's basically stuff that's on Vimeo and places that you just don't see that's not really social media. Um, and it's some of the best quality stuff ever, mate.

Underrated spec ads: Vans by Johannes Verillion

35:59 That will raise the debate on, you know, why is there so much slot being basically put through social media when this stuff isn't getting nearly enough eyeballs. But, uh, this one, which is a Van Spec ad by Johanna's Verillion, I was like blown away with the overall style of it. Check this out. [music] the secret. What's that sound? [music] [music]

36:48 [music] Incredible, right? Like the tone, the feeling, the pacing. There was one point where the skateboard blended through the pole as he was grinding it, which is the only thing I sort of noticed off the cuff, but the editing and the pacing of it just brilliant. Yeah, there was there was little bits and pieces that I think because of the physics behind it, I don't think it was right exactly there, but that was a cool little ad. I like that one. Nice work. And you you make a very good point here. Editing can make stuff look professional even if you're not a professional editor

37:35 versus the casual AI editing hobbyist. Um it's it makes all the difference because that was a 57 second piece and there were hundreds of videos in there, you know, like just edited within split seconds. Uh so very cool to see that stuff and a great spot. Thank you. Uh yeah, it was great editing. Um I really love the style on that. It really stood out to me when it was submitted. Yeah, it's really on brand. Really cool. I've got some others. Let's do really quick spec ads and then we're going to watch some uh longer uh stuff from Cling 3 because there's so much as people have been putting in the comments. You know, the right people got access. So PJ has got something. Unc Harry's got something. Dave Clark's got something. We've also got Door Brothers with stuff. It's going to be a stacked show after this guys.

38:24 But let's get through some of the standout under represented stuff. This one by a female creator Carol Marg spelled M A A A A A A A A A A A A A A A A A A A A A G. And this I'm not going to give away who it was for, but the actual thing is called Animals. And uh let's just watch it. [music] [music] can make all this world seem right. Only [music] you and you alone. [music] Fill me like you do and fill my heart [music]

Animals: why every spec ad needs a twist

39:14 with love for only you. Only you can make all [music] this change [singing] in me. My [music and singing] dream come true. My one and only. [music] Brilliant. Did you see the twist at the end there? Yeah, that was really good. That's the type of ad that people will remember. Oh, yes, exactly. People certainly are creative. I love that as a premise, you know, having animals get aged and then closing out with for the world's longest vegetarian restaurant, you know.

40:06 Yeah. Very nice little twist. Um, and that's what it's all about, guys. If you want to do specs, it has to have a twist. It has to have a story. It has to have something like that to make it award-winning and worthy. It's uh really a great concept that was pulled off so so well. Uh great sound design, great song choice as well. Only you, you know, like all of it like matters so much. The editing and pacing to the soundtrack and everything like that. It's just Yeah. Stand out. That was really really good work. What else can I show? Um Oh, mate. Do you want to go more Super Bowl stuff or do you want to go straight to some of the cling stuff or do you want to have a music video break? Let's do Have you got any more spec ads? Yes.

40:55 Favorite part of the show to be honest. It's so hard to skip a minute because they're so good. Honestly, um let me see what I've got. Well, while we wait for you to do that, just going back to a topic that we spoke about earlier. Um what was the first wow moment? A few of you mentioned Midjourney, like I said, MidJourney 2022, which is I think when we pretty much got into it because I'm sure I got into Generative AI from Midjourney before Chat GPT. I'm pretty sure it was that. Um, and Chatg GBT came out in November 2022. So, I'm sure MidJourney was before that. Um, so that's yeah, when we got into it, somebody said when Chat GBT came out on the actual day. That was another thing that people said as well.

41:40 Hey, we got walking watching as well. And yes, mate, I remember even someone put in the chat earlier and this is something that I forgot actually. Disco diffusion preceded mid midjourney. There was actually one that we played around with called disco diffusion and it was not posted really anywhere that I'd ever worked with before. It was the first ever got on Discord was to use this Disco diffusion. And there were actually some tools that we dabbled around with just before we started with MidJourney. So, but the midjourney moment, as I said, was really the moment I was like, "God damn, this is the future of all content." Like, yeah, this is, you know, and even then you could see it when it was just barely images that were like uh, you know, usable for content. You were like, "Oh, wow. This is now

42:25 this is Yeah. Crazy." You type something and image was created. Yeah. V2. V2. Yeah. It must. Yeah, I'm sure it was then because Yeah, that was the first time that we got into it. Oh, thank you for the spec ad suggestion, Ralph. I will certainly uh load that up. If we can't get it in today, I will load it up for next time, but I'll try and grab it. The thing is with specs is they're so short and quick. These are like, this one's 20 seconds. Let's check this one out. So, this one is by Jason at Tomlin 75. Someone asked earlier uh who made that other one. Um, so this was the creator of the first one, Johanna's Verillion, if you want to check it out. I'm going to try and do a better job of copying over the creators, especially with these smaller ones, cuz they're a bit harder to find.

Tropical Punch

43:16 Uh, this one I will copy over after we've watched it. Let's check it out. Tropical [music] punch. Splash of sunshine. Grapes, pineapple, orange time. [music] Feel the rush. Taste the vibe. [music] You see no real story there, but a fun use of like animation for some quick social media content. Not really advertising, I suppose, just more content, you know. Yeah, but that's the type of advert that you'll see on TV, right? I know. Weird, isn't it? Like, oh, it's tropical punch. Yeah. Or tropical punch, whatever it was called. But yeah, that was u Yeah, I think that advert just worked.

44:01 It was simple. Um and it just done done a job. Right. Oh, we've got Winston saying that he's also made a spec ad. Uh we've got your music video to show. I'll try and grab both of these spec ads as we're watching one of the longer pieces um and show them towards the back end of the show. Thanks, guys. You guys are crazy how much he put out. It's actually insane. Like to see how much you guys are doing. Actually, let's watch his music video first. Now, so this is Winston. He sent it to me earlier today. The most anointed song you will ever hear. Let's check it out. [music] [music]

Winston's worship music video

44:51 I have hurt people. [music] I have broken my word. [music] I have lied. [music] Friends I have hurt. I have stolen. [music] I have covered it. [music] I have lost it. Family you trusted. Help me to forsake my ways and my [music] thoughts. I have broken. Oh Lord, many hearts.

45:42 [music] Oh Lord, I went to darkness. I strayed apart. Oh Lord, [music] if the wicked man forsake his thoughts and his heart, [music] today is the day to be made [singing] [music] new. Today is a new start. Today is the day I [music] am new. I am changed. I am different. The old has passed away.

46:28 I am clean and redeemed [music] because of the cross. I am clean. I am a saint. [music] I am a son. I am a child from above. I am clean. [music] I am all. I am washed [music] forever more. I gave thanks. Thank you, Lord.

47:16 [music] Nice, nice, nice. You there, Chris? Oh, I'm lagging a bit. Sorry, guys. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Nice work there, Winston. Really like it. It's um you mentioned that the song was written by himself and images mid Journey and Nano Banana Pro and he used Cling 2.6 and 2.5 VO 3.1 and video. Awesome. What where you mentioned that you used what three or four different um different video generators. Why did you use three or four of them?

Why use four different video models?

48:04 Was it some were better at doing certain things than others? Why did you use so many? Great question because yeah, I'm sure some were for like lip sync and some were for other movements and yeah, it's problem solving, isn't it? I think Winston will answer the same as me, mate, honestly. But Dave said the same. It's whichever one seems to solve the problem. Now, Clling 3.0 O has solved some new problems, you know, in terms of physics and combat and other things and 15-second long generations and uh all these other bits. On that note, actually, um let me add our first really big cling piece into the into the stage because Dave sent me the raw file for this. Really excited to show this because it's in really high resolution.

Mira by Dave Clark, made with Kling 3.0

48:51 Um, this is Meera and as we found out he's probably only had since Saturday to make it. So, some of the physics issues I saw in the comment threads he's he could have solved, you know, given a few more generations a bit more time and a few more team members to be able to solve them. Uh, but yeah, kind of incredible what he was able to make in the short time that he was able to make it. And then we're going to watch some others uncanny Harry's and others realize we're almost an hour into the show and you guys are sending me so much stuff, but we've got so much stuff already. It's crazy. But let's check it out. [music]

49:39 [music] [music] Where's Kobayashi? I've been expecting you, Mera. You know I love to [music] party.

50:46 Mera, why didn't you finish the job? [music] I always finish. [music]

51:36 You killed a powerful man. You will never be safe. The order [music] advises you to lay low for a while. Get out of the city. Maybe consider a fresh start near. Do you need the usual arsenal? Make a double. Stay out of trouble this time, mirror. [music] Anyway,

52:33 [crying] [laughter] Heat. Heat. [music] Oh, goat.

53:26 [music] [music] [music] Hey, hey, hey. HEAT. HEAT.

54:13 [music] [music] [music] [music] You can all go to hell. Crazy.

54:59 [music] [music] [music] Just mental, absolutely bonkers. And I love it. And uh we found out in the show actually Kenny that uh Dave essentially only had access to cling since Saturday. So yeah, it only took a few days yesterday. So this was Yeah, this was up yesterday. So literally a few half a days if that um to make all of that. All I was thinking is this isn't perfect, but my god, we've come a long way since we were first showing stuff like action scenes with Dave.

55:46 It looks so much more convincing now. It's actually insanely good. Uh, Cling is really a new level, a new bar, guys. I think Cling 3 is really the best physics model there is out there right now. No, no regards of uh anything else. Kind of insane. Where can you use it? Cuz I just went onto my Cling and I and I pay for a cling and I can't Yeah, you need to be an ultra subscriber through Cling. This is the problem and why I said earlier it's a bit weird because the API access has become available. So Weevie, Freepick, Art List, Higsfield, they've all got it now. Got it. Okay. Uh but yeah, sadly Inkling itself, you need to be on the ultra subscribers tier, which is a bit strange as a roll out plan, honestly. But yeah, also my mate's here. Um where is he?

56:34 Where is he? Hey, let's go. Jude. Yeah, Jude. I was with Jude on Monday. We were doing a talk together. I was honored to share the stage with him in business. So, uh, Jude's here. He actually had a really good question. Uh, let me just go back. It was a long question. And he said, "I'm curious to know your thoughts on what generative AI helps us do that the old process or mediums didn't. I'm sure you know what when TV started out, a lot of shows still operated with radio sensibility. It took years before we had what we now consider normal editing. So I wonder what are some of the new fingerprints of generative AI you feel are breaking away from the current techniques? That's such a great question and um I think we're still to see honestly uh a lot of what Gen AI will do that other things can't do. But what we definitely know is true is that small teams can really go for

What can generative AI do that older mediums couldn't?

57:28 ambitiously big projects now essentially and VFX uh it could be animation style could be any style essentially but with a a lot fewer people and a lot less budget than it took before with some very very good prompt engineers because it's still a skill you can essentially create things now as we did traditionally you know but as I say I think generative worlds mate will be the new form of uh like entertainment, expression, uh creativity, all sorts of things, you know. Actually, this is a brilliant segue and uh thank you so much for the question because it perfectly aligns with what I wanted to show you that I didn't show you earlier, mate. This will take you back. Someone prompted Genie 3 to look into a Blockbuster store and check this out.

A Genie 3 walk through Blockbuster

58:23 Isn't that crazy? Wow. It hasn't muted us because this one has no audio. But I just thought the idea of like, you know, showcasing to our kids, this is the way that we experienced media originally. There was no such thing as streaming. There was no sort of online videos. We all went to stores. We bought DVDs. We did this like big thing. And uh I actually watched a really interesting podcast where Blockbuster was so big in with Hollywood that the deal was that Blockbuster would get the pre-releases so you could rent it as a DVD, you know, prior to it being available through other mediums, which is what kept them alive for so long. But then when the explosion of streaming and other online distribution platforms came about,

59:14 then obviously blockbuster had no exclusivity. it had no like, you know, window of you can watch it only through Blockbuster first. And so that's what dried them out a lot, which is very interesting because it's not what's talked about. They uh they had their Netflix moment obviously where they could have bought Netflix and other things like this, which they obviously didn't see the future of where this medium was going, but yeah, I think Generative Worlds is the new AI thing that nothing else can do. But I also agree with what the blessing report said. And I think what you're seeing now with AI or Gen AI is it's looking at what we do traditionally and just trying to work on that. I don't think it's necessarily right. We're going to try and do something that you can't do with everything else at the moment because of the technology.

59:59 It's let's do what we've already been doing but using AI to do it. And that's why you see a lot of the people like Dave who just put together that video, they've got a background in traditional Yes. Exactly. In video. So, they're just looking at what they know and doing that with these AI tools. That's so well said because Uncanny Harry is obviously a producer and TV guy. Dave is a script writer. Others we know like um Neural V is a script writer for comedy. So, they've all got this background of now how to amplify it through AI. And uh that's what the best of the best are doing. The best are doing that. And then eventually we're going to get to the point where it's like, "All right, you know, AI can do this, which we couldn't do before." And it might be a case where the only people that could do it would be the big blockbuster vid,

1:00:48 the big blockbuster films with blockbuster budgets. Now others can do it. You're very welcome. It was a great question. And this person, yeah, that's Jude as well. For some reason, we can't see this person, but this is a brilliant comment. Rick and Jude as well. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Oh, Unlimited TV. That was my favorite Rick and Morty concept. You know, I never got into Rick and Morty. I never got into it. [laughter] I don't I didn't It got spoiled a bit by the fan base. That was the issue with Rick and Morty is it had a very naive fan base sometimes because it got so big, you know, but when it was a smaller show, it was one of the most clever things ever written. I think it was incredible. There's been a few shows where I had access to really early and I didn't. One of them was Family Guy. Um, yeah, had access to I think it was like season one or season two.

1:01:37 I had access to interview the whole cast. Didn't bother Game of Thrones. I remember my friend Jazz was here last week. I remember she had to interview the cast. I think it was season three or season four and she said to me, "Do you want to come and interview them?" But I was I don't watch it so I didn't bother going. But yeah, it's like Rick and Morty is one of those. It's not that I didn't like it. It just missed. It just passed you by. Yeah. so much stuff recently because of, you know, family and that was passed me by like Severance. That was a show that everyone seems to love and I just haven't found the time for it yet. It's in my watch list, but I just haven't found the time yet. Pickle Rick. I have a Pickle Rick t-shirt. That's so funny. Oh man, Pickle Rick, what a great Severance is going to be really good. At the moment, I'm watching this one called The Beast in You with my mom at the moment.

1:02:26 So, please, if you're watching it, don't spoil it for me. Uh, that's I've had time to do that when I've been here, but I'm making sure I try and watch at least one or two episodes with her uh every night because we're both really into it. Oh, that's the last thing I've I've had time to watch. Yeah, we're only just finished in Stranger Things, me and Laura, so yeah, I'm well behind on the show. It's like uh and no spoilers there. I hear it's a bad ending, but yeah, again, I haven't seen it yet. I want to say um thank you so much to Art List. Obviously me and Eric and Glenn got to meet up there in New York and uh mate they're going really in. They've added Clling 3.0 and all of the new tools and they're building a studio that's going to be available in spring. But the craziest thing they've done right which is pretty wild is they've given their team 4 days to make a Super Bowl ad

Artlist's Super Bowl ad and $60,000 competition

1:03:16 and uh they've legit bought Super Bowl ad time and stuff. So kind of insane that they're doing this, right? and uh they've made actually four different concepts and we're going to be showcasing and hosting a competition that they're running on the back of this to give someone $60,000 as a winning prize for making a better ad with their tools and showcasing it. So, you know, earlier we said basically a lot more of these companies are putting up money, they're putting up the bar, they're making challenges. This is a really good one. This is one of the concept ads that they've uh got running during the Super Bowl. We're not sure which one it will be exactly because they've got three or four, like I said, that their team have made in three days, which is insane with Art List AI tools, but this is one of them.

1:04:04 Big game ads, am I right? They're bombastic and outrageous. They take months and cost millions. Not everyone could make one, but that that was the old way. With Art List AI tools, anyone can create high-end video productions. You too, Steve. So, go to Art List and start creating without limits. It kind of answers the question as well. A nice segue. You know, s like very small teams with specialist AI tools can now whip together ads and stuff. It's really exciting times for people out there. Decentralizing it is what that meant. You know, early days, we talked about that.

1:04:50 This is going to decentralize creativity in all sorts of forms. Music, sound, video, ads, all sorts. Do me a favor. Can you play that again? Yeah. Reason being is cuz I'm thinking something and I just need to see it again to see if I've missed it. Hey, big game ads, am I right? They're bombastic and outrageous. They take months and cost millions. Not everyone could make one. But that was the old way. With Art List AI tools, anyone can create high-end video productions. You too, Steve. So, go to Art List and start creating without limits.

1:05:36 [snorts] Ah, okay. I get it now. So, yeah, that's a great one because I was thinking they because they didn't say AI and maybe that was the it was done on purpose. Well, that's actually a very good point because Art List as a company didn't have AI tools and now they're announcing that they do. So, what I wasn't aware of was just how big Art List user base is. Millions of customers and they use them for stock music and things like this. Um but as we found out you know in the early days of Getty Images and all these other stock sites they've all got to get involved in Genai otherwise you know essentially users will go to these other alternative places so very smart of them to make that move knowing like that's the future of it and uh it's crazy like I said what's amazing about it is they haven't been

1:06:28 uh biased they've said we'll allow cling we'll allow other things now many other places don't allow cling and the Asian models, you know, they they say we'll allow runway and the sort of safer ones, but we won't go for the clings and the miniaxes and the other tools. So, it's a limit suite of tools in certain places, but artists are going no, if we're going in, we're going all in. So, get all the tools we already know you guys are using and they're making their own foundational models, which is one of the reasons to go there over other things is, you know, making their own models is something very useful and unique there. So it's it's it's amazing. Nice. So it's very similar to Higsfield where they've got their own model plus. Exactly. Yeah. It's going to be adding workflows and you know making a reason to use them over others.

1:07:15 It's brilliant and it's great to see and we didn't even know like this time last year you could never have predicted you know Art List are going to be a big player in this game and they are. They're going really big. You know they're going Super Bowl ad big buying time for Super Bowl ads. So kind of crazy. Yeah, loving it honestly. So, blessing report said that art list and free pick both pivoted hard out of stock voice and photos and videos into AI to survive. Oh, free pick were the the name of course you know free like we also worked with a few others that were in this like stock library place and now they're doing uh wiretock was one of them and a few others you know we did competitions with them and actually they worked incredibly well because it makes so much sense

1:08:00 you know one thing I actually remember is during the lockdown period there was a guy that was doing stuff for creatives on X and Twitter and it was called one minute briefs And the idea was there, you know, all the creative directors that were fured is like keep your craft sharp, you know, answer daily briefs and potentially win prize money and stuff like that. And when Gen AI was coming out, I thought, mate, now so many more people can get involved in this generative brief answering, you know, because you don't need to have actual like design skills or anything like that. If you've got a great idea, you can prompt it and then send in your prompt. Now people like Zed Anoir, he basically came from that, you know, he was doing one minute briefs with with his traditional marketing skills, then added

1:08:45 AI to his skill set, and now he could answer like so many more briefs, you know, and congrats to him, by the way. He just got picked up by Stink Studios. Well done. Yeah, they're huge, man. I didn't realize they're behind some of the biggest stuff we've ever seen. So, a massive congrats to Zed if he's watching out there. Um, actually he he sent in a piece as well that I was judging uh just recently and m there's some amazing things that are being made in in the spec ads things. I just realized I've got some more if you want. Um, this one I thought and it's on the same theme as Zed's actually and ocean plastic, but this one really stood out to me because I see a lot of people doing this idea of like a ghosty ghostly face, you know, in the plastic kind of underwater,

Plastic Erosion, an ocean plastic spec ad from China

1:09:34 but then this one just think about the music, think about the tone, but then the whole of the visuals really throws you a different direction. And it really uh this one's called plastic erosion and I'll have to put the name of the person in there cuz I don't want to pronounce it uh cuz it's really bad. [music] [music] Heat. Heat. [music] [music]

1:10:27 [music] Heat. [music] [music] [music] Heat. [music] That was great. That one like cut through me because of the like joyful music in the background almost, but every visual was like so haunting.

1:11:21 Yeah. Yeah, not only that, it was a good contrast of the haunting visuals, but with a like a really upbeat song, but then they also had this the uh special effects where you that you know when you touch plastic, they had all of that in the background as well. And that's one of those one of those videos where if you put a different soundtrack, it would still work on the video. If it was more haunting, it would still work. And I think that was brilliant the way they put it together. And of course, a great message. And everyone seems to be really uh saying nice concept, epic use of AI. You know what's so brilliant about this mate? And this is like the exclusivity I've almost got now, which I really appreciate, by the way. Um that was by a Chinese creator, hence I did not want to pronounce her name. And it was not at all on Western social media. That was in a you know a Yunyan link or something like this, which is like a a duang or something

1:12:14 like that, like a social media of China. So again like but brilliant piece that we may not have been exposed to otherwise. So thankful to be sitting on the Chroma awards, the Bionic Awards, all these awards where I actually get to see stuff that you know ordinarily wouldn't be surfaced in my timeline and uh really [laughter] is we get to play on on this show to show show to us lot. Exactly. Exactly. Um, people are putting in the comments, by the way, some of the stuff that we need to watch because PJ Ace has been out there. Like I said, the Door Brothers are out there. Everyone's having a go with Cling 3. We haven't watched Unanny Harry's bit. Actually, that's the one we'll watch first cuz Yeah, let's watch some Cling 3 stuff now. I knew that he had to go. Uh, because it's such a big file, I'm going to have to add it as a separate uh person and it will likely just take over the stage as I do that.

Uncanny Harry's Kling 3.0 showcase

1:13:07 Uh, let me just make sure I've got it right. 800 megs. This is going to look beautiful. Okay, let's go. Every new year, the monster [music] would visit the village and terrify the villagers. [screaming] [cheering] Okay, calm down. The arrow slams into the orc captain, but he's still alive. Okay, everybody, get behind me. I am going to pass [music] fire shield. Kill him. [screaming] GOT THEM LIKE FISH. He was the only human being on the planet. The loneliest man in the universe.

1:13:52 The Hunter had made the vampire's [music] dead heart live again. Why didn't you kill me, Hunter? Because I [music] love you. The film I am peaching is a horror, a monster [music] movie. Did you see that? Something brushed against my leg. Relax. It's just you and me. [music] [music]

1:14:39 Dang. Give this to the right people. We've been saying this for over a year. Give your model to the right people when you're releasing it. Nothing beats it. nothing could come close to and then getting the 800 megabyte file sent to you off as the stream so that we can see it because it gets compressed as hell in social media you know it looks very different man magical stuff thank you so much Ryan you're you're a ledger mate if you're still watching I know you're on your break so you may be maybe not but just whoa and also just showcasing like so many different things that you can do with this new model and you know on Google I'm like you know what we need to hurry up and release maybe

1:15:27 uh 4.0 or 3.5. The humor is a very good point there as well. I felt like humor goes really weird. You know that uncanny valley feeling in previous models. So yeah actually some of the humor was really landing in some of those clips as well. Again give it to the right people and they can test the model. Rory, I call him the Dave of Demos for a reason. You know, that guy needs to be on everybody's bloody list. But yeah, clearly showing there why Uncanny Harry Ryan needs to be on everybody's list, too. Crazy stuff. As I said, we've got um Simon Mayer, the legend that is pretty much the GOAT at the moment. I'm not going to lie. Like, you know, his stuff hits. And you know what's crazy, mate?

Simon Meyer fakes the moon landing on the moon

1:16:15 I DM'd him about coming on the show. He's just had a baby as well. Mass rats. But how you're managing to do all this epic stuff as well as just being a father. I don't know. You know, again, it some people can do it. Some people are just born for it. Did you have you seen this moon landing or is this going to be a real I had a feeling you was going to play it today. Um and I was going to send it anyway, but I purposely haven't watched it. I wanted you're you're you may be about to experience a top five moment. So, um, this, by the way, again, talking about the humor, talking about the satire, no one quite does it like him in this style of content. Like, Neural Viz has got the talking head stuff down, you know, but Simon May, when it comes to these sort of show production type things,

1:17:04 no one's coming close at the moment. So, let's check it out. We fooled the whole world. And everyone [music] believed us. People just always want to believe that something is real. We've all seen the pictures, but is there any actual proof that you were on the moon? Um, well, we [music] had cameras there. What other proof do you need? June 1969. I get a call 3:00 in the morning. The voice says, Murray, we have a problem. I asked, "Who is this?" That's not important. What's important is we've been to the moon. I say, "Fantastic. [music] Congratulations." He said, "Murray, you don't understand. What does that mean? It looks like he sent an une man [music] camera module, very simple, just to get a visual preview." I saw the test footage and I said, "Guys, [music] this doesn't look like space at all."

1:17:53 And they said, "Ring, it is space." And I said, "Well, it looks like a sound stage. [music] The moon is disappointing. It's gray. Not dramatic gray, not cinematic gray, just gray. Like a parking lot, a very [music] old, very dusty parking lot. The moon didn't look like the moon. Nobody would have believed. So, we had three options. Option one, tell the [music] truth. Explain to 600 million people that the greatest achievement in human history looks like a Walmart parking lot. Option two, [music] fake it. We tried that. Looked even worse. Option three, go to the actual moon and [music] direct it. Make it look like people expect the moon to look. We are going to fake the moon landing on the actual moon.

1:18:42 Shooting on [music] the moon is different. We have a few problems. You push a dolly on Earth, it rolls, it stops. You push a dolly on the moon, it keeps going forever. One small step. We did 23 [music] takes. What do you love most about the moon lamp? That it's real. It actually happened. Would I do it all the same way today? [music] No. Absolutely not. I would just use cleaning 3.0. More real than anything we could have ever shot. What an epic fantastic epic like that is how that is how you you showcase a new tool. That was brilliant. this might go down as one of the best launches of all time

1:19:33 with this like content that's coming out with that. And the thing is it wasn't just we're going to fake the moon landing on the actual moon. It was the woman who said it and the way it was delivered. That's what had me creasing. I couldn't that line. Is that my best AI video that I've seen? It might be that and the frame. How does he keep dropping himself like that? It's insane. Yeah. Ah, I like that. That was brilliant. That was a great story. And the thing is only the other day I watched a film that had um Scarlett Johansson and it was about the fake moon landing. Yeah. Uh it and it had Woody Harrison. I can't remember what it was called, but it was a great film. So, it kind of remind me of of that. But yeah, brilliant. Simon, I I was saying this to I think I was saying this to Eric yesterday.

1:20:19 I think Simon's my favorite one. Like I think he's he's my favorite one. He's fast becoming so many. I said it to uh I actually wrote him a private message. Hence, you know, I found out about him becoming a father and I said, you know, you're you're the your community's favorite. But not just that, you're on the Zeit guy so much that when I wrote the same message to Dave Clark when he just launched Promise and everything like that, I knew it was going to go on to the things that he did. And he's just launched his own agency. Uh so we know it's called Prompted or something like that. Simon. Yeah, Simon has just launched his own thing and I said no one deserves it more right now. Literally nobody. You know, I've seen thousands of videos uniquely. I've seen awards entries and everything and you're the top of the top at the moment, man.

1:21:07 Like, no one comes close to what you're doing in the storytelling aspects and the humor and the way you're able to tell it. Like, it's just genius. He's Neural Viz 2.0 know in many ways for advertising you know like like I don't know how you buy that guy's time but clearly he's going to have like a you know a company to fulfill stuff and people just got to get on it. It's insane. It's insane. Like uh no one Yeah. No one's doing it like him. And [laughter] and that's the that's the thing you want right now, isn't it? Is you want to be known as that guy. He can fill so many briefs for brands right now that must be just chewing at the bit to buy his time and his creative ideas because

1:21:53 he can just deliver. Yeah. Uh Prompter. Yes. He was so spelled without the E. Eric is putting out there. Oh, good. That's a good name as well. Congrats to him. You know, he really, like I said, deserves it. like um you know what's cool as well is we've said for a long time now the Door brothers even though they were just in controversial videos originally they're going to go on to do amazing things and and I saw them announce that they've just announced two multi-million dollar films by the end of this year that they're working on. So this is like really and you know what's also amazing they're doing the exact pipeline that we predicted mate they're going to put out some teaser stuff see what the audience like and then make that into the big

The Dor Brothers' Rorschach Killer

1:22:43 project which is exactly the roll out that we said would work in this space. So super smart for them to be thinking about this. So what we're going to showcase right now you wouldn't even know it's the door brothers. That's what's so crazy about it. It's It's basically nothing like they've ever produced before, which is what's so cool. It's a completely new story. So, let them know in the comments what you think about this particular narrative, this story that they're building, this world that they're building. Um, this one is called the Roshash Killer. Let's check it out. High-res, if you see violence in this pattern, it means something's wrong with you. Funny thing is everyone sees violence.

1:23:36 [music] We begin with tragic news. Authorities confirm that singer Diane Holloway was found dead earlier today. Details surrounding her passing are still developing. Investigators say the case may be connected to a recent series of four celebrity murders attributed to the so-called Roarshock killer. [music] Our investigation indicates the markings are being used to signal future victims. We are asking anyone with information to contact authorities. Oh yeah, I know the culprit. He lives down the block from me and he always [music] praise me.

1:24:23 You ever take the test yourself, detective? Because once you start seeing it, you never stop seeing it. I mean, he's only killing famous people, right? If you're that famous, something's bound [music] to happen eventually. You keep saying victims like he's choosing them emotionally. He's not. To him, they're all just repetition, visibility, influence. It's all here. You bother to look at it. Men like these don't need ideas. They need attention and you you're giving them plenty of that. [music] [applause] The killer was only half the problem. The rest was how easily people warmed up to the idea [music] of him.

1:25:09 As if curiosity became separated from morality. [music] That kind of noise never gives you answers. It keeps you searching. And when the search never stops, everyone starts looking [music] like a suspect. [music] [music] 17.

1:26:21 Heat. Heat. [screaming] [music] Sorry if you guys were experiencing lag there. Some of the bigger pieces apparently are lagging a bit on the show. So there is a price to pay with this high resolution sadly.

1:27:08 Tell you what though, I see a um like a new a new genre. Oh, come in here. Yeah. You know what it reminded me of? I had a conversation with Rory. I said, you know, all those YouTubers that spend tons of money on 3D sort of like modeling and stuff, their documentaries. Well, if they picked up AI, they could probably make really, really good stuff at a bigger scale and faster. Now, it's kind of a crossover, isn't it? because that felt like a YouTube documentary slashaction movie, you know, it was a bit of a new genre like you say, like almost a wrench like imagine that a time piece period piece with all the clothing, all the cars like how much set that would cost millions

1:27:56 to not just that in that style because it's like it was between cartoon and real. So you could tell it wasn't real, right? You can tell it wasn't like a typical cartoon, but it was it was enough for people to know it wasn't real and not say you're trying AI is not quite there yet, right? So, they had a really good style there. I really like that. And as Eric said, yeah, I'm going to pass it on to them that like, you know, as a out there thing that you've just tried. That's incredible. You know, like it's so different to the other stuff they make and yet that as a like first time is amazing. I'd love to watch a longer pit version of that. Like the storyline is great. Like I don't actually know much about it either, you know. And this is the thing is they could go for historical events.

1:28:45 They could go for completely, you know, [snorts] different scripts. They could write their own stories. They could do anything with that style. I really like the idea of taking real things though, you know, like like the JFK assassination or something and making it that style or that would be incredible too, wouldn't it? Yeah, that's the thing. You can do some you can it almost goes back to what Simon done where you can take a historical event and then just change it. Uh and and you can do that in that particular style. We can do it in any style, but you can do it in that style. Um yeah, really good. [clears throat] Oh, mate. So, we've got like the Cavan the Kid piece, but we're already an hour and a half in and that's a 10-minute thing. So, I think we want to rapid fire through some of the shorter pieces that we've been got.

1:29:31 And uh so for you guys that sent me the YouTube links, I will go after the show and grab them for the next one. Andrew said though that we were experiencing some lag when I was trying to download them during the show, so I definitely won't be doing that for the show this week, but definitely for next week. Let's take uh a music video break. Um this one I want to give a shout out to. I'll give um the actual comment of the username because it's a hard one to pronounce. But this is called the no center music video. Let's check it out. No faces, no direction, no Santa. [music] The city breeze without a name. Streets folding in the veins. Every sign still [music] points somewhere, but nowhere

No Center: a surreal music video

1:30:20 feels the same. Traffic frozen in a loop. Windows stab but never bling. [music] I walk without a body, now I fall without [singing] a sink. Platforms melting into the street. Time forgets [music] how fast to think. Up is gone, down disappeared. Every sound is bending near. I hear the [music] city thinking loud, but no one's here. There is no center, no ground below. [music] The world just spins where we used to go. I feel the motion. I feel the pull. But nothing here is physical. [music] No center, no place to stay. The sky just curls and looks away. If this is real, don't wake me now. I'm finally nowhere. [music] [music] Finally,

1:31:19 [music] nowhere. Trains keep moving without time. Corners [music] curve and swallow space. I don't need a face to breathe. I don't need a name [music] or place. If the city dreams at [singing] night, I'm inside a silent call. I'm not lost. I'm not found. I'm just unbound. There is no center, no ground below. [music] The world just spins where we used to go. I feel the motion. I feel the pool. But nothing here is physical. No center, [music] no place to stay. The sky just curls and looks away. If this is real, don't wake me now. I'm finally nowhere. [music] If I stop moving, does the city stop to?

1:32:15 If I disappear, [music] does a loop break through? No, no sound, no hand, [music] no. No center. No sense. [music] No sound and no ground [music] city. That one's got a little bit more to it, but we'll see. I saw you bop into that one in the green room. I was like, this is hitting. If anyone knows if that's a pseudo beat or a real beat, I'll need to find out because that track

1:33:04 was banging. And I'm so glad that we got this exact comment because that's why I played it, Miriam. We said last week, we want to see some more Kelly Bosch style music videos. And I hadn't really seen any until that one. That really reminded me of Kelly Bosch's surrealist style. Yes, the lols on it being a a furniture ad potentially as well. Someone even said this more of an advertising style than a music video style. Like Miriam said, it's a commercial. And I agree. It was a bit weird, but it was the surrealism and the first and last frame and nice little mix up. Also, Jimmy from 404 said, "Remember those go videos?" Yep, I do remember. Oh, literally some of the earliest YouTube viral videos.

1:33:51 Um, and it was just creative editing and like doing loads of like really random stuff, but they were very famous for doing it. They invented a few different styles actually. Like they were the OGs of music videos for doing this like stuff on YouTube. What I like about that last music video is exactly what everyone's saying. For me, when I was listening to it, first it was a great song and then I was like, the video really matched the song and then I was like, you're right, it could be they could take snippets out of it and it could be a furniture ad as well. And that's kind of like goes back to what I've said all the time. Music sells everything but music. And you can see a lot of musicians will create stuff for f for adverts or even video games because that's where they know where you can get it. I really like that video. It just it just covers so many different things. Yeah. Whoever done it, great job.

1:34:40 So this was the creator and uh I'm not going to even try and pronounce that. A me. So yes, as I said, like I'm being seeing things now which aren't coming typically through social media. They're coming through sitting on like panels and sitting on awards and sitting getting private submissions in my inbox which often Vimeo and places where they just host things. And yeah, uh honestly, this is a great place for it. That's why we're going to set up the landing page so you guys can submit your stuff to us because often they won't hit the algo, you know, as they say in social media. They don't go viral or whatever, but they are brilliant and it's the furthest from AI slot we've ever seen. This is great stuff. This is truly artistic expression, truly great storytelling.

Kelly Boesch's new music video

1:35:29 It's everything, you know. But we have had a comment about new music from Kelly on Spotify and I have a new music video from Kelly. So I actually want to, you know, that's why I gave that one first. The the answer last week was, can we find more people like Kelly Bosch? Turns out I found one in the same week. So yeah, now let's watch Kelly the OG. Millions of Spotify play plays every month. Just just quickly actually you said thinking about what they're producing here. They've got a furniture ad. They've got a great suno track potentially. They've got a music video. All of this is licensable, you know, like. So it's actually very smart if you do create like Kelly does a sunno beat which is a licensable thing in its own, a music video which sits alongside

1:36:17 that as a separate new asset and it's going viral in short form, long form, everywhere she puts it. Incredible. really someone to look out for in terms of doing great work. Kelly Bosch. [music] [music] I'm unraveling the thoughts from [music] the dream I forgot. Tying my spirit in [singing] a delicate knot. The wallpaper peels in a foral [music] decay. I'm finding the colors the sun threw away. I am the liquid form in a world made of stone.

1:37:08 I melted harsh words to try and prone. Oh, [music] let the rhythm be wide and the large. You could be thin. I'm living [music] in the spaces where the secrets begin to quiet. The belly a soft kind of water be something the world [music] hasn't tasted before. There is a far in the grace in the strange. I mean come a page that [music] refuses to change.

1:37:57 [music] My heart beats a post that I wear on my sleeve. I only tell [music] stories that I want to believe. I'm a bird made of paper, boat made of breath. I'm dancing on the edge of a beautiful [music] depth. Don't ask for the sun. Don't ask for the shore. I've opened a lock on an invisible door. Let the rhythm [music] be wide and the logic be thin. I'm living in the spaces where the secrets begin.

1:38:44 It's a quiet rebellion, a soft kind of water to be something the world hasn't tasted before. There [music] is a fire in the fold. A grace in the strange. I am [music] on a page that refuses to [music] [music] go. She's just carved such an identity for herself, hasn't she? Like it's the same with a Simon Mayer video, you know, within the first few frames, this is them making

1:39:36 this. It's her song. It's her style. And somebody said, uh, actually she embraces the weirdness because of the surrealism. So the warping is part of the aesthetic. And that's make, you know, that's why I say like uniquely Simon and her have got this prolificness. Same with Dave. you know, they're able to produce with the idea that the long form stuff has got a place, but there needs to be a social media equivalent to get the story out there to get all of people involved in the long form. So, they're playing every step of the game, you know, incredibly well by being able to produce these like almost daily music videos, Kelly's doing or at least once a week, I believe.

1:40:21 You know, it's incredibly prolific. Yeah. And someone's also I think the same the blessing report said she's making between 14 and 40,000. Yes. And that's just through YouTube on AdSense on YouTube. And you know I know Spotify royalties are rubbish but a million monthly plays is going to get her to certain ears which will probably unlock brand deals. And if she wants to even take that, you know what's so cool is that she's got a route to never have to work with anyone ever again. She can fund her own art and that's great. That's what we want to see is people being able to fund their own artistic expression through whatever that means to you. You know, start a freelancing stuff, start agency work if you need to, but you could just like others are doing the door brothers, self

1:41:07 finance if you can. If you can't do that, just put your work out there, try and get an audience, get them to fund it. There's so many routes to market nowadays. It's insane. and and and Eric and D and sorry, Eric and Paul both said, "How do you even begin to prompt this?" And prompts Kelly uses for these videos. Yeah. My guess is um because I've read so much of her stuff now is she spends hours and hours in Sunno writing the lyrics first. And I'm sure that the lyrics inspire the visuals heavily, you know, and uh there's intertwining in every layer of her creativity basically. But I believe the song lyrics as Theresa says are where she starts and uh probably is all building from there. You know, she's got some because actually that they're the hardest part.

1:41:55 I don't I know so many so few lyricists that are very good. You know, I know a lot of beat makers. I know a lot of people that do music in general, but very few people that write very good lyrics that are very catchy. You know, it's a very hard skill. So, that's her background clearly. That's where she's passionate and everything just builds from there I would guess which is again the most common thread amongst all the greats you know they all have their starting blocks script writing or whatever it is lyric writing and then they just build and build and build until they've got something that's postable it's amazing isn't it yeah really really amazing stuff I always enjoy talking of the goats mate let's watch something from PJ's

PJ Ace's Assassin

1:42:41 I think he's just put this piece out. I believe it's cling as well. Uh, we'll need to double check if anyone can let us know in the comments. But this is PJ's new piece. ASSASSIN you there. Go on now. This is the king's chambers. But what are you waiting for? What? What are you? I'm sorry.

1:43:34 [screaming] Tell tell my brother he must find the most important words a man [music] can say.

1:44:21 Wow, mental, right? [laughter] That was really good. And actually, I realized halfway through it has to be cling three because no one would do that sort of combat physics near to that right accuracy right now. Not even close. I wonder what football's like in in comp with cling free. I've seen some examples and I've seen actually their release trailer was UFC. Uh so it had two female UFC fighters and then it sort of cut away but it wasn't the best honestly. Um but I think in the next coming days and definitely by next week's live show, we'll have some really, you know, like montages of all of the physical stuff it can really do because it really is amazing. Now, budget is officially a myth now, says Lara. No more excuses.

1:45:08 No more excuses is actually a lot of what we're going to be saying this year. If you guys have an idea, it doesn't matter if it takes you a week, a month, a half, a year, start doing it in your free time now. And you know, we've got a platform for it. If you're watching this show right now and you haven't yet, you know, started to dabble with these things, I think Cling 3 might be a good starting place. It's insane what people have already done with this early access. Don't feel like you're missing out, by the way, cuz it's not everywhere yet. It's not even truly released properly. As we said, ultra subscribers only. So, in the next coming weeks, get your idea ready. No excuses. Start dabbling and making it. The only excuse you'll have is the credits it might cost. But if you're good enough, you might get onto a partnership like, you know, Weevie and others that host this.

1:45:58 They will have C what's called CPPs, creative partner programs that you can apply to. Maybe submit your idea, tell them what you're looking to build and why you deserve those credits and they'll grant you access. So yeah, it's just and um who said it? Miriam said, I feel like everything we've watched today coupled with Danny Ratcliff's film from the last sessioning has ushered a whole new level of AI film making. It's a new bar. I'm glad you said it, Miriam. It is kind of like daunting for people that are just getting in. I understand. But the new models really are capable of these things. It's not a showand tell anymore, you know? It's more like you just have to run the model to it gets the right physics cuz it's clearly capable. It's clearly capable. Now, if we just watch like a two and a half minute where it doesn't look like, you know, swords are going through other swords and people are falling through walls, then

1:46:48 you've just got to keep running it until you get the right output. Yeah. just selecting the right outputs a skill in itself, I would argue, you know, like actually knowing when to cut, when to edit, when to run through. And that's that's the key thing. Like even in that last video, um the PJ Ace one where there was a guard talking at the door and he said something. He said a sentence, but in that sentence it was first it started off far away and then it went like close, right? I'm looking at that thinking, was that just one clip and then they he he zoomed in it twice just from two different angles. Uh but it synced perfectly. So brilliant, brilliant. And getting the love from week to week, Danny. That's how much you impacted last week, mate.

1:47:36 You know, new bar, mate. You're set, you're part of the new era of the new bar. People striving for those standards. So, yep. you know, incredible stuff. I want to show a funny video now. And you know what? I don't believe this is a spec ad. I think this is just a funny video, but it it made me if this isn't based on a real life advertisement, I'll be shocked because this interaction, as you'll see in the car scene, is both hilarious and feels like it was probably based on a famous ad. So, if anyone knows the reference to this, uh, let's check it out. Hey, girls. Hey, boys. [music] Superstar DJs. Here we go. Girls, eight boys.

Random funny video of the week

1:48:22 [music] DJs. Here we go. [music] DJs. Here we go. [music] Heat. Heat. [music] [music] [music] [music] Hey boy.

1:49:07 Stop. [music] Here we go. [music] Random [snorts] funny video of the week. I would be very surprised if that's not based on like a famous advertisement or something. Chemical brothers. Hey boys, hey girls. That was a big tune back in the day. Is that the music video style though where it's like a car? I don't remember what the video was like, but I wouldn't be surprised. But yeah, it's the Chemical Brothers. Yeah. So, and they they would always come up with like crazy videos. Um, so but it worked perfectly with that. And I really again I like the bit when they lift the the the car went up and then they put the dog out. [laughter] Yeah. Yeah. Windows. I like that. It's great. That's why it made it to this week because of the dog.

1:49:53 Actually, the dog was it got me to laugh out loud and I thought that's actually pretty hilarious. Worth a show. Yeah. But what I I was watching that and there was there was some scenes where you had the dog like popping its head with everyone else and then there was a couple where the dog wasn't and I was thinking did they do that on purpose or it just came out as like once you it was generated and they just thought I would just leave it in. Like it's those little details. I always wonder if they was like this time keep the dog's head. That's why, mate, we need to have these creatives on to ask them in person because otherwise there's no way to really know, is there? Like those creative decisions and and and we find out behind the scenes so much of like, oh, maybe we only had two days to do it, so we had to do it this way, but we plan to do it in a different way, you know,

1:50:39 with more time or whatever. I want to give everyone their due by the way because we're talking about all these crazy like VidU 3 we talked about earlier. Cling three, Genie 3. One that goes under the radar a bit is Runway. You know, the new runway 1.5 image to video is actually pretty insane. And this is one of the best videos I've seen by a creator that use exclusively runway. His name is uh Javier Dele Chica. I will put it into the chat so that you can follow up. But this is all based in runway. Check this one out for a short video. Actually, it's a short film basically.

An alien short made entirely in Runway

1:51:46 [music] Hey, [music] [music] hey, hey. [music] [music] Heat. Heat. [music] [music]

1:52:33 [whistles] [music] Oh [music] no. Heat. [music] [music] Hey. Hey. Hey. Heat.

1:53:21 [music] [music] Heat. [music] [music] How fun was that? Yeah, that was great. That I was looking at that and I was thinking this is exactly what AI is. It's it's things like this is where I can really see AI just breaking through to mainstream.

1:54:09 Exactly. I really see things like that doing really. You know the big difference I feel like between now and 6 months ago the continuity of character of that alien between every scene you know and you know what it is is that runway like others have accepted nano banana is the new bar so that's all nano banana within runway because they've accepted outside tools as well now so basically I believe the pipeline is grock imagine is actually incredible by the way for new images it's incredible or lots of people started mid journey or their favorite image generator. They'll get their favorite character, you know, generate a few different aliens till they really like one. Then they'll bring that into wherever they make their video with Nano Banana included and go, you know, alternative views of this this put them in this background,

1:54:59 you know, add the alien, add the background, then create the asset for your new scene and all of that stuff. But the just the ability to keep that alien looking because that to watch would be really hard if there were flaws, you know. There was no dialogue. It was all based on visuals and a great soundtrack. So, you need continuity of Alien character or else you're out, you know. Yeah, I think you made a really good point. It's that continuity where this time last year it wasn't quite there, but the last six months it's that's something that a lot of people's been saying. You know, you you'll play a video and it's like, oh, wow, the continuity. But I've noticed in the last month, we've not been saying that that much because we're now expecting it. So, yeah, but that's a truly watchable three minute no dialogue continuity thing for sure.

1:55:48 You know, that that's the era we're at now, whereas before we could never watch three minutes of that, you know, it would like it would be it would be just we did because it was amazing for its time, but now we definitely couldn't, you know, like Yeah. Yeah. We are at amazing times, guys. Honestly, probably the most exciting time in the AI space because now video is at a level where we can produce real continuity of character. Yeah. Yeah. It it's actually watchable and you're like, you know what, this is I I can see the promise in this space. Yeah. And Miriam is the not, you know, drooling at the consistency and continuity. It is one of the biggest challenges and sources of frustration because we used to have this rat ratio Miriam. We used to call it the 100 to one. We need to do a 100 spins before we get something that's useful because of all the issues that we encountered.

1:56:41 And that ratio has come down and down and down and down. And now it's got to the point where Nano Banana, you can almost guarantee that that's going to look like that same character from a different angle now. Like almost a guarantee. You'll be actually shocked if it doesn't look like your character from a different angle. So, we're at almost a one for one ratio, which is where we needed to be to keep our sanity in check uh and get pipelines flowing. Does anyone use chat GBT for images? Cuz I find that chat GBT is pretty good at images, but I never hear it being used. Hey, you know, this is the thing is I actually had another one from a Chinese company um which was, you know, the same thing. It's like uh basically what's happened now is the image bar has gone to you need to offer in painting for images at perfect accuracy

1:57:31 you know to the point where it does not degrade and regenerate the whole image. It just changes Photoshop words, you know, um just like this part portion of the image and in paint this. Now, now the best ones match the lighting, but you have to write that in your prompt, you know, match the lighting of the scene that I'm giving you so that the character looks like they're lit from the same scene. Uh so that's a very good tip. Probably if you're struggling with the consistency, try and add that sort of like direction to whichever LLM you're using in order to do you edit within midjourney still or Megan as well. Do you guys edit within midjourney and anyone in the chat as well? Do you edit in midjourney or also Canva? Does anyone edit in Canva as well? It' be interesting to see how they how they fit. Higsfield's got his studio.

1:58:20 You know, a lot of people build on Nano Banana and do their own versions of Nano Banana, but as um Jimmy puts it, Seedream is really the only one that can do Nano Banana level stuff at the moment. But there are Bite Dance, there are other companies all vying for this, you know, trying to reach the same bar essentially of this impainting for images. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, and chat GBT does indeed allow in painting editing and it's it's just pick whichever you're using now, you know, because they're all going to get there eventually. They'll all get to this threshold or just an opt banana. Yeah, I just saying this yesterday. I think we're getting to the point now where it almost doesn't matter which one. They're all at a decent level. Then it just be goes down to user experience and what you prefer. And I'd rather have one or two and go deep in them than have 15 different like image generators and just be quite shallow across them.

1:59:14 Yeah, Eric saying, you know, I don't believe uh MidJourney's got to that ratio yet in their vid in their video model. I agree. Hopefully they do, you know, bring that down a little bit so that the consumption's not so much. And Paul's saying he uses CHBD for all his images and use in video. And uh, you know, others are telling me now [clears throat] they use Gemini and then through Gemini they can access Nana Banana and also you know the VO3.1 but then others are using weevi and then accessing all of them art list and freepic and you know that's why we showcase them all guys we want to show everyone's workflow that they've settled on and enjoyed and companies that they you know without any sort of ambiguity we wanted to say what our users find the best and not you know

2:00:02 anything else really but Yeah, it's been a crazy show, guys. Quick show. It's 6:00 already. Jeez. Went by quick. And um yeah, it's what's going to be interesting is what videos are going to come for the Super Bowl, you know, because I think Super Bowl's this weekend, so that's going to be Yeah. Have a great weekend to our American viewers. All of you guys tuning in earlier showed us you were from the States and really appreciate you tuning in so early in the morning, especially the San Francisco lot. Really, really appreciate you tuning in. What a week. Yeah, big week, mate. I can't wait for the Super Bowl, but also the FIFA World Cup. You know, we gonna have a crazy year when it comes to like like ads that could really pop at these massive moments in time.

2:00:47 You know, World Cup only comes around every four years. And it's going to be it's going to be the most controversial World Cup of all time. Yeah. Because it's in three different countries and it's crazy, isn't it? I'm actually doing something with FIFA right before the World Cup. Oh man. So, uh, I'm so excited to see what's what's it. People get get your get your World Cup ideas. It might be the biggest thing of the year. You know, I know for Americans and soccer and it's not that big. The rest of the world though, we love it. We absolutely love it. So, biggest thing. And also I think it's good that um where where um Clling announced their like their release today or yesterday, I think now we're going to start seeing a lot more tools coming out, not just in the video space, but in everything.

2:01:37 I think that was the one that we've been waiting for. Some one had to go first. Now that it's happened, I think we're going to see a whole bunch of stuff. Do you know what, mate? I was even thinking because people have just accepted Nano Banana. If you can't match it, you have to include it. Maybe cling will be the same for video. You know, a lot of like western companies like I said earlier, they kind of are not accepting this tool yet, but they m they've set such a high bar now that people might be forced to, you know, like it might be the new standard that has to be accepted or matched. But to match it, it's going to be really really difficult because clearly they're out there beating Google even at this moment. But when Google 4, mate, Genie3 is nuts. We didn't even have time to show a lot of the Genie 3 stuff. Uh, we will maybe get round to it more next week.

2:02:27 This crazy cleaning stuff again. But thanks a lot, guys. You know, thank you for all the feedback. Again, what makes the show really is you guys, you know, so thanks for that. You guys are so talented. Thank you so much, Danny, especially, you know, for submitting in such high quality. To uh Dave and uh the Door Brothers and uh yeah, everybody that sent me the high-res stuff, Uncanny Harry, uh we didn't even get round to all of it. We So, we've got plenty more for next week. And I'm going to go back through your YouTube videos as you sent earlier. Sorry again, I couldn't download them during the show. Uh just was causing too much lag essentially. But yeah, we'll be back same time next week. I'll be going down to London in the meantime. Hopefully I'm back for the show. Uh I think I should be though.

2:03:15 Just got to check on the schedule. But uh yeah, so next Thursday, look out for the invite event. Um try and find it yourself. Otherwise, we'll try and tag you if you've left a comment. Uh that's the easiest way to grab you for the next show and the WhatsApp group and all of that. Yeah. Cool. Take care. Cheers, guys. See you later.
