Back from Lisbon: one of the biggest submission weeks yet
0:12 Hey, we're back. Hey. Hopefully you're hearing us live from around the world. Let us know whereabouts in the world you're tuning in from if this is your first time Watching the show. Kavan the Kid is on live, mate. Right now he's over on Magnific and uh we was trying to see if anyone's tuning into that that Wants to drop into our show afterwards but there was also a London meet up that Afrofuture and A load of the people have been at today and I'm like all of this on a Tuesday how far has the AI Pace come that all of this is happening on a Tuesday it's crazy huh I know exactly Tuesdays Not usually the days for it but it looks like it might be or every day every day when it comes to Ai now it's just hotting up and I've just got back from lisbon and the week before that I was in can
1:03 And it's just happening everywhere well mate it was so much to tell you it was awesome Properly so yeah how it was it was good yeah it was so much fun mate um other than the airport Experience you know with the non-eu citizens now apparently so this turned out to be longer to queue For this than it was my actual flight which was just absolutely horrific hey I see gabe tuning in Mate we've got two of your pieces on the show this week so awesome thank you so much for tuning in Um we've got loads of user submitted content this week it's actually one of our biggest weeks ever For the number of pieces we chose from you guys submitting to us.
1:49 So yeah, that's really, really, thank you so much for doing that. We'll put that link later on in the comments so that you guys can all see it. If you're unfamiliar with the show, we've got a new polling round now Where when we show creative pieces, you guys all vote on it. We give you a one, two or three, so you can comment in the chat one of these numbers And it will add your vote to the poll that you see live broadcast on the stream. We've got paul the producer in the backdrop uh let us know if the music's too loud as well by The way we've got music as a new thing on the show uh talking over the music's a little bit different I'm hearing it fairly loud in my headphones right now paul honestly maybe yeah maybe it could come Down a little bit if it's possible but yeah I like the idea of like having the show with music like
2:35 This right to intro it and outro it is fun reminds me of my radio days we used to call these beds You have to put the beds in like literally if you could you were not allowed again when I was there You were not allowed to speak over dry air uh yeah so you always had to play musical beds and then The annoying thing was is that because of uh prs so in the uk if you're playing music on any Traditional channel like tv radio you have to report it so people can get paid their like money From publishing so you even had to report all of the instrumental beds and stuff so you always had To write because it was kind of pre algorithms and digital you always have to track what song Was being played or musical bed you played but I always like it I've always been a fan of talking Over music same I think it just adds a nice little like you know I even feel my rhythm changing
3:25 Slightly with the underlying b and uh I tried to make a custom song for the show today but then I Realized oh this has got lyrics in it it's no good to talk over it's a very different vibe you need For an underlying track and all that you know uh but yeah custom music I see some people tuning in From portugal so cool man stefan welcome yeah I thank you for saying who you are stefan because What we're seeing it just says linkedin user it doesn't actually say who you are so if you're If you're um from linkedin just state your name sometimes it does sometimes it doesn't yep hey Yeah, we've got lots of people in the way got Marcus grip tuning in. How's it going mate? We've got Marcus on the show today as well from a piece that he submitted and Hopefully be doing some live streams with him in the future
4:13 He's now working at wonder and doing their live streams and we tuned into this It was really cool through the wonder app. He did such a good job He wasn't expecting so many people to turn up and and yet literally everyone was there for the entirety of the show as well Um and yeah they've got a great little thing going on there with like cap cap sponsorship and like Competitions and stuff like this and really really cool so so much is happening in this space so good Right anyway we should get into the show I guess so we've had five minutes of just chatting but yeah Hey eric tuning in let's go from new york city baby got zane from spain zane from spain even Rhymes hi from hamburg it's almost like the alliteration this is brilliant and hi from india
5:01 As well we're international as always exactly yep the brick background andrew makes it look like you Went to hogwarts and you were waiting for platform nine and three quarters mate I'm at king's cross station right now waiting waiting to get the train to hogwarts oh we've got Egypt in the house san francisco in the house boston in the house let's go guys all multinational Loving it well as with always we start off the show with a bit of news and let us know if you Know we missed any big highlights and stuff like this honestly with me being away it's been really Hard to curate the news and keep track of what's going on when I'm actually traveling and stuff but One of the things I thought was one of the most interesting updates um was that 11 labs have had
ElevenLabs launches Eleven Music
5:51 And they're even doing a bit of a remix competition and stuff like this. So it's, you know, trying to do relevant things with their new platform. Let me have a look at my quick show notes. They're doing a remix competition. Let's just watch the piece. We found a video for this one. So let's just watch it. Introducing Eleven Music, a platform to discover new artists and find music that feels personal. Find a track that moves you, then make it yours. Shift the genre, change the tempo, remix it into something new, or start from scratch. Take a lyric, a melody, then let AI shape it into a finished track. Grow an audience and earn when your music resonates. With over 4000 creators already on the platform, the next wave of artists aren't waiting for permission.
6:42 Download Eleven Music and make music yours. Pretty cool huh yeah it's a really good idea yeah like I said they're launching it with a remix Competition so they've picked a particular artist that you can go and do a remix of and then submit Your remix to potentially win cash prizes and stuff like this so nice little activations come Along with the platform it's the next a natural next step it feels like doesn't it if you're really Good at the audio space doing voices and stuff like this and you can do music as well it's always Something that's the natural next step it feels like so pretty big yeah yeah it's a good little Move there from 11 labs as brand mentioned definitely will give sooner or one for their
7:27 Money you know 11 labs are the king of ai audio yeah they've always been that audio space they're They're the platform to go to in audio and obviously it's a natural next step to go to music And essentially what they've done is they're going to create a spotify but the ability that you can Remix songs um so yeah be interesting to see how this goes yeah and I've had a load of great Experiences with music llms and uh to add another one is never a bad thing more competition different You know focus they obviously have the voices which is one of the things that's worse than the Other platforms uh the the beats are generally better from like suno or something like this but Then this one might add the vocals. And if you can create stem waves, that's getting a bit nerdy here, but you know, I can mix these down in logic pro and combine the various benefits of all of
8:16 The music LLMs to make something really, really special. But yeah, if you're using any music LLMs and you love them, let us know in the Chat, what you use, where you use it, how much it costs, all of that stuff. Um, but yeah, let's keep going on with the news today. Uh, something that I thought went under the radar a bit, but I want to give Why it went under the radar is deep seek version 4k mel and it didn't make the splash that deep seek You know previous ones did where it just massively disrupted the markets and stuff like this But for a reason that it's not really made the headlines I.e it's not a state of the art model It's actually just one behind think of it like chat gpt 4.5 instead of five or something like This, right? But it's a fraction of the cost mate. And I mean, literally a fraction, like a small
Why is DeepSeek V4's price the real story?
9:07 Percentage of the Claude and open AI context per million tokens. Deep seek is offering similar Intelligence at like one to three, 5% of their costs, which just undermines all of the bigger Market value, doesn't it? So what's your thoughts on this? Like not so disruptive, Technologically speaking but price wise which is the thing you talk about a lot Massively disruptive you know this here I think is why the big especially american companies are Worried about deep seek it's not to do with privacy it's not to do with your data etc that's What they'll say in the pr but they're thinking how are they doing all of this well two things They're even thinking how are they doing it this for a fraction of the cost and even I think claude
9:55 Came out saying that they're copying their their their models so that's why they can do it as such As like a like a cheap cost or secondly they're thinking we could probably do it at a much lesser Cost but we need to keep the value of the company high um and we need to make money so if we start Putting the cost down the value might go down which like the maths won't add up when it comes Too like this so I think that might be another reason why they're they're not happy with deep Seek for the end user amazing you know I personally don't use deep seek as much as I would like to Uh purely because I kind of said to myself I need to just focus on a couple of large language models Because I'm paying for five of them at the moment so I'm like and deep seek is not one of them I
Will everyday AI run on a model on your phone?
10:43 To add an extra one so what do you think um I think that my general feeling about it is we're Coming up to a point now where we don't need more intelligence you know as in like the models open Source are progressing to the point where most tasks for everyday users are fine you don't need State-of-the-art you know you don't need the clawed 4.7 or the high token window so when we cross that Threshold and we can literally have it on our phone you know just literally a local llm on your Why would you use a cloud interface subscription made one and you can have the local security Of having it on your phone and stuff. It's just the right now, I think that that deep seek model isn't even really possible To integrate locally unless you had a like $10,000 set up, you know, with high graphics
11:31 Cards and all of that, but that will get optimized and optimized over time so that that intelligence Is just on our phone. And then the moat really disappears for the like you know cutting edge ones that want to go further And further because the users that need that uh further breakthrough become fewer and fewer if You think about it like people need it genuinely when do you think we'll get to the point where We can have our own large language models on our phone and when I say we I'm talking just general Public who and and it's affordable well you think well you could argue it's right now but they're Very very small models you know you can only do so many basic requests but again those things that we Do use it for day to day if you calculated a percentage that could be answered by a very basic
12:21 Model it'd be a high percentage it'd be like 60 to 70 of the things you ask an llm don't need to go To the latest model they can just go to a micro model so yeah um yeah I would say right now but As a population like the thing that's always hard with prediction is that google came out with this White paper that was a compression that literally is saving like 10x and you can't predict these Breakthroughs you know when's the next scientific breakthrough gonna optimize it so that we can Now have 10x small storage you just don't know when that's gonna happen could be next week could Next year it could be 10 years it could be any sort of thing so yeah colchester in the house jimmy Let's go guys let's go yeah let let everyone know we're about to get into the creative content
The Dor Brothers showreel
13:07 Section so remember to get to the votes one two and three is how you vote um this one is not really a You know a thing that we uh really want some opinion on because it is a show reel and uh I was Excited to show this one because I've just got back from lisbon where the door brothers had me For like uh an extra few days after the event and we had a lot of fun making music and talking ai And just chilling you know and then I was like bro how have I not seen this show reel that you made Apparently they only yeah they only posted it on like uh x and and instagram so I missed it on LinkedIn and YouTube. Um, so, but may it's crazy. And, and it makes me remember like all of the
13:54 Previous ones that we've seen on the show, you know, and, and there's a little glimpse in here Where look out for this claymation piece because he's shown me this in the development stage and My God, it's the most epic piece of content in AI I've seen today. It's incredible. Yeah. It's a bit This is like a show reel of their previous year of working with clients and stuff but also there's Little snippets of what's about to come out that's not actually been out yet as well so If you if you're familiar with the door brothers piece guys and you're a fan and you're watching Look out for all these little things and the editing and all of this anyway without further Ado let's see it did you see what the door brothers did they're these really good ai
14:46 Fucking awesome edgier folks uh they're ai first like door brothers the door brothers a leading ai Video production company this is starting to get a little bit more realistic that was awesome one Of the best ai advertising directors out there the door brothers themselves the door brothers Door brothers the door brothers the door brothers the legendary door brothers and they just made Like a Hollywood movie and they did it in like a day you brought me here for this Relax, we only need to do it once a year
15:34 I've been silent long enough Bar railings for the watch and the neck chase Don't want drinks one of them and I'm a such a chai tea Cause the flag in me neck pain Bumbay gold for the world, she's smiling I had a notch on the bed front Italian's fade in the seats of the brand new motor Quick to be squirted at A good wood boo from Mozambique Got a tailor suit with the brogues on free I'm in Casablanca blind Jack Miranda with the AC Blood in the Dwellison Talk to the platinum hands in the timepiece boy Cause the face ain't listening Quick neck down to the strip got gold in me wrist And a side bag packed full of clips Strap it on my back, get that list Then pass out, ran to the left like Back bigger than the block, big dog Time tipping on the line, wrist swap Did a break from the bar, chip shot Side chick sitting in the car while this looks Let me tell you something about boys like us
16:21 We ain't here for the chit chat You can tell we ain't here for the games by the way we look When a boy stepped into the building Changes, swinging on my neck Gold rings on my fingers, swimming on my wrist Togged into my waist, no semi with a click Big glass of the phone, baby, I'm gonna lose it Grab it So yeah, thanks for watching. AI slop. Total bullshit. How crazy is that it's great that song that it was playing like my girlfriend just came in just
17:10 To drop me like a coffee and then she was like yeah like dancing like what a great what a great That that's how you make a show real that is how you make a show do you know what it's funny you Said that because someone in the comments said Pete and Bass you know those legendary older Rapper guys that in the UK they should owe the door brothers royalties of how much they use their Videos because a lot of the old ones were edited so yes yeah it's just such a great vibe isn't it I told him I was like what an awesome vibe for the track to edit to and all these projects like The Snoop Dogg one did you catch the claymation stuff like yeah the clay for the scoop that one There no there was it towards the end um but yeah yeah yeah we're watching it through again and yeah
17:56 Just all these projects they've been involved in that we've shown and seen on the show and And the virality, but also how they're branching out into new things entirely. You know, like they're doing, they started out being quite controversial, Doing political satire and everyone sort of got to know who they were. And like now it's like turned into working with Logan Paul, Working with big celebrities, doing all sorts of really crazy stuff. But when I was interviewing him at the piece, We actually saw a piece that dromina and other people like mini max and other they're they're Basically commissioning uh this team to be able to this piece like there like um there's a lot This piece as well was a commissioned piece you know uh more and more like coming from ai companies
18:44 Commissioning them to make show reels of how to use how good their platforms are and stuff it's Awesome they're just working with all sorts of diverse people and it's uh it's insane honestly And this showreel is probably one of the strongest if not this bit the claymation characters here Oh my god you you wait till you see that video mate it's the number one most I don't know it's Like a real work in progress it's already 13 minutes long so it's going to be a you know a Monster masterpiece like 20 minute I think piece potentially uh maybe towards the back end of this Month or something like this but when it comes out I can't wait it's um how big is their team Well it gets more and more and actually when I was in can he hired a guy on the spot literally
How big is the Dor Brothers team?
19:35 When we're going to show that movie later on that he got hired for in can but he goes yeah yeah this Is great you need to come work for me and this is happening over and over again so you know It's elusive that you never quite know how many is in their team because it's expanding by the Bloody day it seems like I love it yeah you need to come work for me it reminds me of you know in The wolf of wall street when when uh seth the seth guy I can't remember seth rogan not seth right Right yes I'm seth rogan I think it is when he first met leonardo dicaprio and he goes if he Asked him was like whose car is the outside because it's my car and he goes if you can prove to me That that's your car I will quit my job immediately and come work for you and he showed him and he's On the phone like that's what it's like it's like what how they're hiring people you know it's you're
20:22 The door but I'll quit my job immediately and come work exactly and the guy who we met who is an Amazing Italian film director with four daughters literally crunched out this 30 minute movie in 10 Days and jonathan was just like you're coming to work for me now and uh he reshared that piece Over on x we're going to watch a five minute snippet from it later on because it is a 30 minute Epic piece like one of the first of its kind you know epicness and he did it in 10 days just flat Out literally 16 hours a day with four daughters mate you know the the dedication the drive the It's mental I don't know how he managed to do that I don't know how I struggle with one son and a dog Exactly mate adding anything more to the pipe is yeah wow what an amazing uh what an amazing thing
21:14 Yeah and thank you so much for having me in Lisbon really appreciated it it was a really good weekend Like proper vibing out watching loads of AI content and doing AI music and all sorts of Seriously awesome great great great but yeah let's keep going on with the show so the first one we're Going to kick off with something funny and this is us kind of remixing the show a bit because we sort Of see save some of the bangers to the very end but we've realized that the peak of the show Sometimes is like the 15 to 45 minutes lot and because yesterday was may the fourth be with you You know star wars reference we thought why not have one of the funny little show closes earlier It is mate this name like star wars because it's um a melding of worlds basically you know porn
Pawn Star Wars by NeuralDerp
22:07 Stars the show um and yeah we've got star wars so porn star wars uh this one was made by neural derp And it it features general grievous and his legendary lightsaber collection so let's watch it I have items to pawn. All right, let's see what you got. Okay, so these are lightsabers. Correct. So, uh, where'd you get them? Estate sale. Estate sale. The previous owners no longer needed them. I have been a collector for many years.
22:52 It is a great passion of mine. Each lightsaber has a story, a history. There is a certain thrill to the acquisition. It is rewarding. Right, so this is a pretty big collection. What has you looking to sell them? I have a lung condition. The separatist health plan does not cover it. Oh. So I must sell my collection. That's rough, man. How much are you looking to get for him? A hundred thousand credits. Look, I'll give you 50 bucks for him. You fool. You okay?
23:43 I didn't mean to rile you up with my offer. You were a bold one. Lightsabers and I'm not going to know what to pay until I get an expert in here you mind if I call In a buddy to take a look at him fine but quick I've had sellers get heated in negotiations before But I've never had one almost take my head off and then need a timeout for an asthma attack He probably just needs his beds Hello there ah yes general kenobi the negotiator In for anything lightsaber, kyber crystal, jedi, or high ground related that comes into the shop. Those areas are my speciality. So Obi-Wan, thanks for coming by to take a look at these.
24:29 Of course. May I? Sure. So, where'd you get all these? The state sale. The state sale? Correct. Oh, okay. Lightsabers have been the chosen weapon of the Jedi Order for over a thousand generations. Elegant, precise, not as clumsy or random as a blaster. Oh my, this one looks exactly like Shaq Tees. What a wonderful design. I just saw her last week at the temple. Hmm. So, what has you parting with such a beautiful collection? I have a long condition.
25:15 Oh dear. I'm terribly sorry to hear that. Thank you. And the Separatist army won't cover it? They denied my claim three times. Insurance companies. So uncivilized. Well, the condition is exceptional across the board. Minor scoring on a few of the emitters, but otherwise pristine. So what do you think they're worth? I'd value this collection at approximately 150,000 credits. 150,000? Conservatively, some of these would fetch more at auction. Right then. I'll leave you two to it. All right, bye, Rick. Good luck with your procedure, General. All right.
26:01 So you heard my guy. 150,000. He knows what he's talking about. Okay. But here's the thing. I take on all the risk. I got to store these, insure them, find a buyer. That costs money. I can give you 75,000. 100,000. 80,000. 95,000. 85,000. Final offer. Not a penny more. Okay. Deal. All right. I'll check you out right over here. A few moments later. That's hilarious, huh? That is unbelievable. Unbelievable. I think it'll be interesting if anyone in the in the um in the chat is a massive star wars fan
26:53 How do you feel about this because I know star wars is a very sensitive subject to like big star Wars fans so but that felt like fan art like fun fan art yeah yeah it really felt funny yeah Yeah but I like star wars I'm not like someone like when the news like I know that the mandalorian Films coming out this month I'm not camping outside the cinema with like in gear you know I'm Like I'm not like a proper fan like that but I do appreciate that and I thought that was really Really good and someone in the chat said um where is it they said I wonder what tool they use for This and then someone also said is this fully ai because at first I was like is it just taking Clips from the porn stars and then just mixing in the ai with it but yeah things and I was like
27:42 Definitely. It could be stills from the original show and then video to video Transfer and image to video. Actually it's multiple platforms is the answer. I know because we, We shared on LinkedIn a version of this where Frodo was trying to sell his ring, You know, um, And this is kind of like a format that's been done before viral virally, But how hilarious on star Wars day, you know, uh, Made of that this was the thing that was posted from neural D up, Go and follow over there to see if they actually show exactly what platforms. I think that one, but get subscribed to the newsletter through Luma in order to get the links for everything that we're watching in the live show and stuff so that you can go do your own follow-ups about what platforms were used, et cetera, et cetera, if the creator actually reveals it.
28:27 But otherwise, I know that the Lord of the Rings creator did reveal it. So there is a tutorial out there to be found. Lots of ones coming in for this one, hilariously. Fans of both. So really great. Great meshing of shows how like but the name like porn style wars it was just genius paul said this And I was like and the content's just as funny you know all the interactions it's very watchable Hilarious that you're selling all the lightsabers and and the script writing and the the video they Look real it's kind of spooky how real they feel um so yeah how they got around the copyright you Know of these characters and stuff that's the other potential yeah that's what I was thinking Like what platforms are they using can every time I type something even slightly towards copyright
29:16 They're like nope I know there's probably a mixing of different platforms to get around Restrictions and stuff like this uh in truth but yeah lots of ones coming in hilarious way As I said this would usually be a show closer but because of it being yesterday and because we you Know we're just trying to get it earlier on in the show uh with some of the funnier pieces so So anyway, let's continue moving on with the show. I thought that was a really fun way to sort of like break the tension. Cause we're going to watch some serious stuff. There's even some like, we've got a lot more movies this time. We're moving as I, as I've seen the pattern unfolding, you know, last week we had a lot Of runway ad comps and the weeks before it's as and when big companies are doing certain Competitions, we're getting certain content submitted. And so it fluctuates sort of week to week naturally whether we want it to or not, because
30:07 Making stuff for various reasons that are totally out of our control. So with all of that said, Runway is doing another competition, which Is called the big pitch contest. Um, the idea of this is basically to showcase what you could make into a TV Show. So it's, um, it's kind of a cool, a different one entirely to ads, you know, Don't judge this by ads. As I've been saying in previous week, ads have a purpose, you know, ads need Do something have a call to action it's not as subjective as people think it is this is not an Ad this is more of like a a teaser trailer for the title pilot for the tv yeah exactly and a pilot Still needs to be sold in many ways you know so it is its own type of ad it needs to showcase to you
What is Runway's Big Pitch Contest?
30:56 What the what the show could be um the first one we've got to watch is by gabe michael and it's Called flint this is a one minute piece for his entry into the runway big pitch contest So let's check it out it all happened so fast The collapse Oh what's up in there that did happen fast yeah it's uh it's come off Oh I think we're just having a bit of a technical issue with uh yeah it loading in hang on it all Fast. The collapse. The silence after. The future they promised us. Stolen by the people
31:51 Who were supposed to protect us. Find Flint. He's not a leader. He's a problem we should Have solved early. Flint is what happens when you let children believe they matter. Flint His people are not your salvation. They are the next catastrophe. Flint thinks a flag makes him a king. Let them come. This world is ours now. Crazy, huh? Yeah, I think that was... I like it but here's the compliment sandwich I think if you're going to enter a competition
Does an AI TV pitch need an original premise?
32:39 Like that it's almost got to be you've and you your imagination can run wild it's almost got To be something that we've not seen before so this is right right last of us you know right Right it's kind of had that feel I liked it I thought what they've done was great but I just I don't know I feel like you can come up with like something I think for me if I was a judge Not really seen before or something right an original premise yeah so yeah that's me is the Is the um is the only problem but other than that I I like these type of shows anyway so I'd probably Watch something like that right so you're the type of user to watch something like this I generally Don't watch this type of show but I appreciated it for the art like um direction and the overall
33:25 Continuity and the sort of like the teaser element to it you know because that's all of my judgment Do I buy into the world and how much did that character work? And like, you know, Is it teasing me into watching the overall thing and stuff like this? And with ads is the same thing, you know, how good was the premise? How good was the execution? How good was the, Because last time we saw the music elements are the, One of the most important in the audio elements. And if that doesn't quite live up to the standard of the premise or the Execution, then for me, it's just slightly, you know, could have been better with the audio side, But the audio here worked, it worked really well and the visuals worked really well. But as you Said, the premise itself wasn't maybe a completely original new idea. That's not like anything you've
34:15 Ever seen before. So you'd like to see AI sort of push the boundaries a bit in the premise area. It's not so much the AI. Hey, we've got black light tuning in. What's going on, man? Thanks I think it's getting to the point where the value of storytelling is going to go up higher and higher and higher. And I think that's the real value. So it's not so much the AI is coming up with that creative idea that tells an amazing story and then put an AI lens over it. And I think that's going to be the value. And I think he's, again, great premise, great idea. But I just felt the story was just not there. Well, he's so prolific that we've actually got two pieces from him this week. And thanks for tuning in, Gabe.
35:01 I can see in the comments. No worries at all, man. And thanks again for, you know, I said this week is one of the weeks When we've got the most curated content of all weeks, mate. It's really so many people that watch the show are making it Into the overall curations, which we're doing from the wider internet, Which just goes to show how talented the people are that actually watch this show. It's kind of nuts. Told me earlier she's at a London event so I can't tune in but gonna watch on repeat afterwards you Know um and yeah it's it's incredible hey let's go and we got Marco tuning in as well who's another One that's made the feature list this week and was the door brothers acquisition he was the Literal guy in can he was just like right you I want you you're coming to work for me yeah yeah
35:47 Yeah, four daughters. Yeah, exactly. Four daughters, Marco. The passionate Italian man of filmmaking that literally was bleeding for his passion 10 days straight to make this 30-minute epicness. It was crazy, man. I met so many cool people in the last couple of weeks. It's really, really exciting. Europe is on the map, baby. We just got to get this EU stuff sorted out because it's killing me with these lines In these airports. That's not going to be sorted out for a while. I know you guys need to get to London all you European I'm meeting that are tuning in you need To get to London because us getting to you is going to be a little bit more difficult yeah that Whole that whole Brexit palaver kind of messed everything up what an absolute mess anyway going

36:34 On um this next one we're going to watch was by the previous winner of the runway competition Remember Laszlo Gull the one that made the Porsche behind the scenes ad he also won The runway competition as well so this is his entry into this new competition and I've got a Little bit of a pre-log here so in a world where an ai platform generates episodes from real small Life real life moments what they call jump starts a young man named jason tries to use the technology To create an authentic and honest show only to discover that the platform never stops recording So this piece is called jumpstart and it's by laszlo gal let's watch it in the future Your life is season one seriously jason you have to try this just put the lens in live your day
37:25 And tonight you have your own generated episode so you can generate anything it needs a seed Something real to grow from we call that a jumpstart you do something small a gesture A line, a moment. Then the platform extrapolates from there. The Wade twins, the extreme sports guys, They do small jumps at safe locations And the AI creates those insane stunts you see online. Or August, the platform generates the other actors, The sets, the whole world around him. He's a one-person show. Turns out my backup plan also needed a backup plan. Or Chloe. Well, you know Chloe. I'm not sure, Cowboy. Wait. Are you recording this? I don't know man, I think Maya wouldn't like it at all.
38:12 Do you really want to do this? I just want to be myself. That's it. No performance, just me. Sir, you should see these view numbers. Icarus reminds us that freedom without discipline can quickly become destruction. We gotta do a bigger jump start or we're done. Last time you said that, you couldn't walk for two weeks. Saw your episode. That was something. Would a kiss be enough to jump start us into the next one? But the really interesting and dangerous aspect of this story... You sure, brother? Sure as I ever was.
39:00 The falling felt like flying until the very last moment. No! It was all just generated! I don't know what is real anymore! ... have made the first known arrest based on a person allegedly dreaming about assassinating the president. ... assassinating the president! Did you plan it? What did you dream? Did you know they were watching? I didn't do anything! I was asleep! You're arresting Marcus because of something you dreamed. Why you never told me it also records dreams? Because then you'd have said no, and I needed you to say yes. We live in an age where every moment can be preserved forever.
39:45 And yet here we are, reminded that some of the important things happen only once. I just want to sit here with you and not wonder if this is good content. No more bullshit. Just you and me. I knew he's gonna say this! Just turn it off. You took my brother away. Let's raise the stakes. Ethan, what are you doing? That's what I'm talking about. That is, for me, an example of using AI, a story that's not been told before,
40:30 That is, like, really, really good. I really like that it's got that black mirror vibes but I thought that was brilliant I thought That was really really good and it doesn't surprise me it came from the um the guy that had that idea For the behind the scenes thing yes exactly he started so much of that right like that's a lot Of people have used this fake behind the scenes ai trick that he first started with this porsche ads And yeah he's a great storyteller um like and he's kind of made for these competitions because he's There's a certain like answering the brief and this as a show again, Remember guys when voting on this, Would you watch the show because this is all like a like TV pitch thing.
41:17 It's not an ad thing. It really is about like, did you believe in the world? Would you actually like this? The characters for me work really well. The scenery, the tonality, the pacing, everything worked really well. Even the like, you know, vocals over the top though. Oh, man. Yeah. When it all blends together like that, it's like you've got something special, Don't you? And it's an original premise, an idea that you've not seen before. So for me, I thought, yeah, brilliantly well done. But it's not for everyone, as I appreciate, you know, in the last show, It's not my type of show, you know, like this one, I could see me watching it Potentially, but again, it's not for everyone. You've got to think about the user base and who would be watching this and stuff Like that.
42:02 Love the soundtrack and get the concepts. Yeah. There's, there's, you know, as I say, everyone's going to have a different opinion. It's like when you tune into Netflix, everyone's got a different Netflix. Don't they? Like my, my wife's version of Netflix looks nothing like mine. And then our kids version looks nothing like that. And it's all, everyone's got their own playlist. And this is hard sell because it's like, you know, trying to showcase a show that needs To be both popular with the mainstream, but also for your type of, you know, like it's This one so yeah I think the concept of the brief I think is a great idea it's a great idea it's very Difficult to when you actually think because the only thing was something like this if I looked at That if I was being super critical I'd be thinking that trailers told me a lot so I would want to
42:50 Follow let's say those two black guys that were jumping all right I know that one of them dies now Just for me so I'm like if I didn't know that I'll be following it and if one of them died that way Be like oh my god I'm shocked so it kind of was you like kind of spoiling it but this is me being Very pedantic and stuff hey I can see a load of people are joining over from other places if you Just followed up from calvin the kid and other live shows let us know in the comments if that's Where you're coming from good to see the numbers coming up a little bit uh like and subscribe if You're new here and let us know if you're joining in late where in the world you're tuning in from And all of those you know I'm doing the youtuber thing here but yeah we've got some new faces I can Joining in live so let's go let's go we need this show to more people and there's so much
43:35 Happening in the ai space it's hard to compete honestly but yeah crazy huh crazy stuff so much Is going on exciting you can both like and subscribe us on youtube and luma if you didn't Come in through luma and you're just seeing the youtube link and being sent in a whatsapp group Or something like this then we had a luma page where we have a newsletter that will show you 24 Hours after the show. And we do regularly do these on Tuesdays. The last one was on Friday. That's because I'm traveling a lot. But yeah, in the future, we're going to be doing them fully On Tuesdays. This is the link to sign up for the Lumen newsletter so that you can get the show Notes. A lot of the comments come in. Can we see the links for this? That's where you sign up to Get all of the links. We have a full system for this. It takes a lot of time. We've been doing This all day today, getting these links ready and everything for everyone. But yeah, it's finally now
44:27 Do this should be a 24 hour show says marcus grip well mate I mean the quality of the stuff that We're getting submitted on a regular basis is genuinely astonishing like two hours of really Watchable content every single week and from various creatives all around the world it's so Cool and think about this three years now we've been doing this three years and the show just got Better and better remember the old days of dave clark and everyone where we were watching pieces Over the place but it was the concept we believed in the concept so much and here we are with sea Dance and all of the action and all of the amazing vfx and it's crazy how far we've come yeah even Even when you watch the door brothers like that show reel and it was the I know man and it was
45:14 Like that was what two years ago probably that when when he showed that or snoo a year and a Half ago oh no like yeah definitely more than a year and a half ago so again it was like looking How far and they're the top how far they've come but again you're just seeing the quality you know Featured on Joe Rogan four times which many would argue is the biggest media platform existing today You know like the Joe Rogan show is the show now like Saturday Night Live lost out to him a long Time ago in terms of raw numbers like so yeah it's awesome hey we got you the best Chris come in Let's go he's just got out of his meeting and we're going to watch your piece in a bit man but Yeah we're chilling everyone's coming in from other places it's proper good I'm loving this
46:02 Let's keep going with the content anyway because like I said we've got 20 odd videos to get through Today um the next one again it's still part of the runway big pitch contest remember this one is Called oh amor resiste love resist is the translation of that it's I'm gonna butcher This name it's by caxis silverio and it's a brazilian drama series set in rio de janeiro Following marcus marcus is a gay teenager navigating love lost and identity in a world That keeps telling him he shouldn't exist really like that sort of premise let's go When I'm with you, I don't have fear of anything.
O Amor Resiste by Caique Silverio
46:53 I love you, you know? Nobody told me I love you. Now I'll tell you I love you every day. And your father? Relax, he's in the church. Get close to him. Father? Get home, Marcos! Let me explain, Mr. Jair. You won't transform my daughter in my daughter, your favela! Your favela! Pai, pai! Pai, pai! Renato... I call me a plane
47:41 I put my sargent But I got a beautiful It was a accident, right? With the head most hurt They tried to kill me I killed me But the fire that I was looking for It's like this guy. I want to see who will be a man To tell me where I enter my love But I still am The legislature has been banned
48:28 I want to see who the sympathizer will be supporting now That it's not just a party Well, nothing We're just for ourselves This year, the presence is more important than ever This man is a lie I'm a lie! God, that made me lose my son! You don't know what you're saying! You must have odys to me. You still don't understand. Look where the odysic led you. Ask for him to come see me. There's something he doesn't know.
49:40 I love the aspect ratio on that one. Initially like it feels cinematic doesn't it and it felt like I was transported to Rio De Janeiro there you know the music the vibes the pacing or the tone all of it like you really did Feel transported there um what's your thoughts initially on that one that there if it was a Feature I don't see this as a TV series I see this more like a film right that's the type of film That would do well in canned the oscars like I was just like this is like a really interesting Storyline it's like kind of going a bit like over the place slightly but overall it was a really Tight storyline it was a great concept and um I really like I could see you really focusing in
50:29 On that I was I was like really what you know sitting like really trying because obviously When you've got the translation and you've got and that's I think I think that's the authentic Way to do it though you know keep it in your native tongue but have great english like captions That don't distract too much from the visuals and it's a hard thing to pull off isn't it when you're Doing it like this but lots of ones coming in already like make sure you vote just a reminder For anyone dropping into the show we have a live voting system where you can vote by one two or Three one if you thought it was awesome two if you thought it was okay and three if you thought It was not for you um yeah very well crafted um marco saying and he is a very good craftsman So uh if you're getting appreciative you know comments from the other genuinely awesome ai
51:16 Film directors then you know you're onto a right path genuinely a lot of people were saying city Of god vibes we had that yeah I mean it was like uh it was like this like city of god one of my Favorite films people talking about the emotion as well that was really portrayed through that And that was one of the big things we saw last year wasn't it this is emotionless it's ai slop This is like the opposite it's like really in-depth characters really like you know raw Sort of like people yeah amazing I again I'm so glad that I think paul picked this piece and We saw various others and no doubt others that have been doing you know big pitch contest Yours for next week. We'll put a link to do this. Obviously again, Like, and subscribe so that you can get in the full ecosystem for all of the
52:02 Future shows. And so you get, you know, The newsletter will send a reminder each week. If you're making stuff, Here's where to submit it and how you can get featured on the show and stuff. By the way, mate, I've been sort of teasing. Remember when you did that like reveal of your like jumper and what it meant. If I just show you this, this, this bit here, can you, Can you guess what's on my t-shirt just by that little, little bit there, More of a tease I need more of a tease okay what does everyone think is on Chris's t-shirt I say too much I showed too much damn it damn it so yeah it's the Wu-Tang Clan yeah yeah I I Realized in the green room I was doing this I was like seeing little bits of my shirt on the thing I was like oh that's a that's funny you know what going back to that film that's the type of film
52:52 That could get commissioned like somebody could see that and be like right I know it's just uh Well even that's tv but I think somebody could turn around and say like how can we commission This into a film yeah so and I agree with you I don't think it's a tv show it's more of a short Film for me as a premise so you know it's just good to get on the back of like a competition so That you could potentially get a bit more of a platform than just posting this have a reason to It and a deadline to do it as well uh so it makes a lot of sense to get it out yeah anyway let's keep Going we've got now and a section for real ads and by real ads always I premise by saying yes They're ai generated but they've been commissioned by the actual brand they represent the difference Being with the spec ad is that it hasn't been commissioned by a brand that they represent you
Saffron Home ad: judging real client work
53:39 Know necessarily so it's not official brand work you can sort of do whatever when it is real Official brand work you've got to remember there's a very different client interaction with the Agency there's a lot of back and forth has to be on brand it has to do certain things so with all Of your judgment on this next one remember these are real commissioned ads this one is for saffron Home ad and it's uh an indian producer called chantan sa and the production company is called Woohoo media so it's got quite a few people involved in this as you know generally client This one is 78 seconds it includes 11 characters it had zero location scouts so that's the note That they made zero weather delays zero crew coordination two weeks from concept till final
54:30 Cut so let's watch it with all of that in mind Look just Sarah look just
55:20 I'll stop it How much is it here Premium cashews and almonds Blimey it's so much different when it's real client work isn't it it's um the robo arm stuff Really, really cool. You know, they're sort of like following the cashew nut and Whatever. And my initial thoughts were it's quite a spectacle, you know, like in
56:07 Terms of cinematography, but no real storyline, you know, it's just, and you Can see it's AI generated too. It's not like, um, they've pulled off the realism Of the door brothers or something where you're genuinely guessing is that a real Person? It's just a character sheet that I'm looking at, you know, so there's that Element to it um but this sort of stuff where it's like slow motion nice but there you can see it's Ai you know like there's parts of it where you're like okay it took me out of the immersion a bit Because it's so obvious the ai now and um yeah obviously you guys are saying the same in the in Your voting as my initial thoughts were on this what are your initial thoughts mate I was looking At this and I was thinking all right imagine if this wasn't ai and I was just watching this advert
56:55 What would I think because I think that's where we're going to get to very soon that's exactly the Way to think about it this could be on tv in india right now for all we know you know it literally And again target market remember when we watched the um I I'm never going to forget this actually Because it was like k-pop in a like european country that's apparently a giant yeah I totally Yeah someone was I forget the country but the idea that there's a giant scene that we're just Totally unaware of in europe for k-pop music was like very enlightening as to why that ad was made In the style it was made and I'm sure there's some contextual india it was very traditional Sort of indian stuff here you know and they've got bollywood which is kind of over the top ai
57:41 I think for a piece I was like that's a good that's a good advert but part of the other part Of me was like if this was against other AI ads that will probably exactly I don't know if it Will stand out like I do like the vision the slow motion side of things I do like uh that it's not Not memorable as a storytelling thing is it I would forget what it was advertising very shortly And it's not award-winning so that's where like I would I think a great comment just came in Advertising mood might not be as popular here with filmmakers and stuff like that but it will work in India and that's the way to think about it guys you know like again contextually it's not maybe For us we're not the target market but would it have worked in the region was it a good answer
58:31 A debrief you know all of those things to bear in mind anyway let's move on we're already an hour Into the show we've got so many more things to cover um that was the real ad so now to the spec Ad again the difference being this one was not commissioned by the brand that it represents Um so it's a very different sort of judgment for you can make whatever you want in spec ad territory You know there's no rules as long as the brand doesn't take it down that you're trying to Represent because it's so you know bad look for their brand or whatever um anyway the next one is By zero ai studio and it's a cinematic short film slash spec ad so I've put it in the spec ad category Even though it is kind of a film now I'm not going to reveal who this one is actually for
Guess the brand: ZeroAI Studio's Kraken Rum spec ad
59:16 The game here is how long into the video can you guess who it's actually for because if I tell you It's for it's going to give away all of the sort of build up for this one because it's Everyone else try and guess and when you think of it just put your answer in the in the comments Exactly so without any further ado let's watch this one Bring us luck little monster John! Little Bob! We sail now!
1:00:11 Tom Fennati. You're cheating!
1:01:05 It's... Coming. Yeah! Yeah!
1:01:52 Mary, you were so early at guessing that. I'm going to give you a real shout out here. Like really early on, the first guess was absolutely on the money. I didn't know if people would know this brand as well. So yeah, clearly they did. I love that you also guessed nasal spray lol as your second guess. Oh God, that was pretty intense, sir. Pretty hilarious. Pretty awesome. All over the place. What did you guys think? Let us know. Someone was asking earlier how you vote. So one, two, or three, just type this in the comments and your vote will automatically be Applied. You can only vote once per round. Um, and one for awesome two for okay. Three is not For me. If you're just listening to my audio, just mash the keyboard with one, two, or three.
1:02:38 We know you guys are doing other client work and stuff at the same time. So yeah. Crazy. Oh what did you think of that one yeah I like that one I thought that was really good it was just a Bit tad bit long but yes I think the length could have been cut down a bit too yeah but big shout Out to mary the canadian girl who knows her rum she got that yeah I I didn't know to be honest I didn't know you didn't guess but then it made me think to myself this could be for anything so Some people were talking about perfume it could be underwear it could be you never know it could be A car ad it could be nasal spray it could be like parker pens like it could be so many different Things um but yeah again it made sense when you said rom and it's like okay yeah that that makes Sense yeah I like that what do you think hey we got big al tuning in and john alexander saying the
1:03:26 Vfx shots were the real strength and this one uh could have been a car ad someone else is putting I thought it was great but that's what I mean it could have been some random cars on the deck Mean anything the vfx was truly impressive huh it kind of reminded me of uncanny harry's piece Remember that we watched the hp lovecraft story um a similar sort of kraken type thing but this One obviously is instead of like a proper story it's an ad like it's just as you said it could Have worked for many different purposes this particular thing it was just so well shot that Yeah again lots of ones as well from everyone watching you know which is this a testament to How strong it was as an overall piece. Anyway, so the way now into the new section, we've just done the real ads.
1:04:13 We've just done spec ads. Now we're into the films and anything else we thought cool was cool this Week section, which is honestly, like I said, some of the best pieces, um, That we get submitted because everyone's doing all sorts of things these days. It's not just ads, it's short films, it's music videos. It's all sorts of crazy stuff you guys are getting up to. We have I hope he's still watching um as I said door brothers first uh when when when they first Saw this live in can I was we were all watching it together and even without good audio mate I Didn't have my little bow speaker which I normally take everywhere with me so that we didn't we just Watched this with bad audio so it's going to be cool to see it with like the proper audio experience
HOLY GRAiL by Marco Magario
1:05:00 We're going to watch the first five minutes of this piece but it's actually like I said a 30 Piece so you can go and watch the entire thing on youtube right now um and sign up to the newsletter So that you get the link for this but um yeah holy grail is what it's called and it's a comedy set in Renaissance florence in 1503 which I thought was a really interesting sort of time period It's by marco maggiario as I I don't know if I'm pronouncing this right but he's the most passionate Italian film director and the nicest guy. It was written and created and scored and edited and all of this by himself Alone in 10 days. Wow. So yeah, entirely AI generated because he's been getting questions about this,
1:05:46 You know, with their real actors in it, with their not real actors. No, it's entirely AI generated with all that being said. Let's watch it. Where? Again? Suck my cock and I'll say it. Where is it? You are so dumb. That's literally what I'm trying to tell you. I will peel you apart. One piece at a time. Go ahead, you ugly fuck. Then hand your own balls to the Pope Instead of what he's looking for.
1:06:32 You think this is a game? I tell you where, you won't believe it. You need the whole story or you've got nothing. Talk. My mother. The most extraordinary woman in Florence. She raised me alone. Incredible grace. Loved by everyone who knew her. Our home was always full of visitors. She was very popular.
1:07:19 Go buy some fucking cheese. I was a sensitive child. Very delicate hands. I just needed direction. And then I met Orso. Best thing that ever happened to me. Right. Don't tell him I said that. You filthy little shits belong to me now. Skip ahead. You're the one who said talk. About the object. Patience is a Christian virtue, you know.
1:08:07 Nobody move! By 20, I had a certain reputation. Get to the point! We're almost there. Relax. Orso's maps never failed me once. Through here, up the east wing, past the crypts, Volpe's maps show a passage behind... Eat.
1:09:01 Holy shit! We found it! I think I'm hard. Good for you. Bags, we gotta be quick.
1:09:51 Giacomo, we feel the reach. It's turning. Marco!
1:10:47 How absolutely bonkers is that? Could make this and I'm seeing lots of people asking about the 10 day part yes like I said This is a 30 minute piece I remember we just watched a five minute sort of teaser trailer Almost of the full 30 minute piece you can go watch now on x and youtube make sure you like And subscribe to the newsletter and you'll be sent the link for this tomorrow uh but yeah it's live To go watch right now on youtube as well absolutely incredible huh you know what's insane is we We didn't even get to the bit that I thought was most impressive yet, which is I'm not Going to give away, but there's a phone involved and there's a futuristic sort of AI built Into it. And it's really insane how far it goes, this story.
1:11:33 But yeah, awesome to see the love from the community pouring in about this piece as it Was going on. Also the intenseness was turned up to 10 in some of the scenes. It was so good. Also he made some of the tracks in Suno. I literally saw his Suno playlist and stuff like this of making some of that crazy EDM. I love the juxtaposition too of the like intense EDM in like this period of time, Which is so far in the past, like again, But the storytelling and the characters and the narrative is so, so freaking good. You can see why they hired him, right? I was about to say that you can tell that why he got hired on the spot. That was a really, really good piece. I thought that there was just little things like the bit when he came out of the the room and the
1:12:20 Guy was by the horse and the way he kicked guy and then jumped on the horse like little things like That I was just like so impressed with um yeah but also what also I liked about it was for me The most gripping bits was when the guy was at the store at the table telling the story and then the Other guy was like get to the point like little things like that I really appreciate again now Old character was so intense story writing yeah and it's like vicar like he's wearing they're like You know you're like oh it's uh yeah absolutely awesome really really great job and uh yeah just Getting ones and ones and ones and ones and again this isn't for everyone so it's so impressive that You can mark a question for you um how much did this cost were you part of the cpp program
What does a 30-minute AI film cost to make?
1:13:12 Him. He wasn't maybe before this. I think that like, yeah, it may not cost him the same in the Future with being at the doorbells and stuff like this, but yeah, it would be interesting to know How many credits and stuff, uh, we use roughly the incredible storytelling, man, just as a like, You know, incredible, like really, really awesome to see this level of storytelling from an Individual. And that's what's so impressive. When we watched the one that was the India ads and Stuff you know that looked less real than this and this is like teams and teams of people making this India one you know and so this one is like comparatively like so immersive so real the Shots feel so genuine and it's like impressive that one person can pull this off with all of This it's just you need passion like no oh 2k credits roughly uh no it's free 300 000 credits
1:14:03 In dreaming it in dreamina but yeah yeah but uk value so thank you so much for being so open marco Yes see this is the thing 10 days 2 000 euros you're going to make that money back Like and two things going to turn into 200 000 like the amount of money you'd be able to make For your skill so my youtube adsense alone would pay for this like cav and the kids stuff that He's doing now through free pick originals you know he some people have joined the show from Live stream right before this he alone through youtube will just be making this back through Ad sets you know and but he'll be on the cpp of these various places and assigned to originals And getting limited usage and stuff so it won't cost him this so there's literally zero money
1:14:49 Being spent it's just time and and ideas you know that needs like his chronicles of bone series is So good so watchable so popular that they just commissioned the rest of the series so something Like this can just well it gets you hired at the door brothers but otherwise you know you can get Originals you could do this it's crazy the what's going to happen for creators now and where can we See the full video uh it's in youtube it's in x but it will be in our newsletter as a link Uh so sign up through luma to get this yeah sign up for the news lots and lots of re-rolls uh he's Saying yes I can imagine each scene was very complex you know camera wires and character Multiple characters in multiple scenes I know the pain of this this is the landing page to go and
1:15:37 Sign up for the newsletter by the way also it's the same in linkedin now so if you sign into the Linkedin newsletter you'll get the same thing but yeah put it all in there let's keep going anyway We're an hour and 15 in this is um the next piece is by good friend of the show met her multiple She couldn't tune in live today because like I said, She's already doing a London event down with one, the studios. So going to watch this on repeat later on Afro footcher, AKA Diane Laidlow. This is really interesting. Yeah. The three pigs movie preview. I love it. A hungry wolf stalks three isolated pig sisters only to discover That each house hides a different kind of killer. And by dawn, he is one,
The Three Pigs by Afro Futcha
1:16:25 He is the one begging to be let in. This is a work in progress And it will be worked on for a full film. So with all of that context in mind, Let's watch it. There was once a woman who raised three daughters It was never quite a home. When she died, she left them something she had never managed to give them in life.
1:17:13 Space. Each daughter took her share and built a life that felt safe to her. One built hers soft, warm, beautiful A place where nothing harsh was meant to exist One built hers carefully, ordered, precise
1:17:58 A place where everything had its place and nothing was left to chance And one built her strong, locked, watching, a place where nothing got in unless she allowed it. For a while the houses held, until one night something came looking for shelter. Crazy I told you we have to sort of open the show with some light height stuff because it's going to
1:18:46 Get darker you know people are making all sorts of stuff the tonality and the sort of color grading From this one from the start and the music was just absolutely perfect to fit the vibe and the Tonality of all of this you know what she should enter this into that runway tv show That's a tv trailer because it's like all right well kind of like what happens next like I agree Yeah she should have done that that was really really good um by the way everyone if when it Comes to the voting when paul puts the the uh poll up then then put one because then it will Yeah yeah yeah only when you see the poll good for that so once you see the the poll come up Or two or three yeah that's right great point there mate because I saw some ones coming in
1:19:34 Before the poll so when you see the poll live then start adding your numbers and then when the poll Goes down you know essentially it's the next round but yeah everyone's saying they're like Amazing style amazing music just totally awesome each pig had its own distinct face which was the Most interesting part and character you know which is again so far we've come in ai that now We can do this pull this off someone also said earlier on similar color grading to some other Stuff we've watched you know like yeah yeah yeah I think paul's done a really good job there of Like matching you know almost like vibes of the last piece that we watched this piece you know Like it's like a continuation of the vibes so we're going to mess a bit with the show format In terms of we used to do it like news ads films yada yada music videos but you know I think it's
1:20:27 This way it's nice and yeah yeah we just kind of go goes around what I would say um is that If you remember before we used to always talk about consistency and faces and oh how can Consistency we don't really talk about that now anymore because it's almost expected like if you Look at everything that we've done today the consistency of characters has been across all Of them so yeah exactly if you're the tools now are at a point where the storytelling matters so Consistency. It's kind of, you instantly go, Go away from something when you don't see the consistency, you know, like, uh, Because we, we know it's possible. We know even individuals can achieve this as we saw from Marco, you know, Literally pulling it off for 30 minutes is absolutely wild,
Is character consistency now just expected?
1:21:13 Actually to be honest with you, Considering what it would have taken just two years ago, Like teams and teams of people and multiple tools and multiple. Now one guy can just sit and do this and it's incredible. Like, uh, The storytelling potential for this year is the biggest we've ever seen in the AI video space. And it's just going to get better and better and better. If you saw some glitches in that one, by the way, sorry about that. That was the original file we downloaded. So potentially there were some issues with that. Just being told there was rather some glitches in there, but hopefully it's not too bad. Let's keep going anyway with the show. So the next one we're going to watch is called 1000. By Justin Hündkepatten.
ONE THOUSAND by Justin Hounkpatin
1:22:00 I'm terrible with names. This one's a short film. It's nine minutes in total length, But we're gonna be watching a five minute version of it. The premise of this one is that On the edge of New York skyscraper, A season crisis negotiator faces His most challenging rescue yet. What begins as a desperate plea to save the life Turns into a deeply personal reckoning with his own past. As I said, it's a nine-minute piece, but we're only going to watch five minutes. But we do know the tools that we used in this one were Kling AI, Minimax, Runway, Sora, and VO 3.1. So with all of that knowledge, let's check it out.
1:22:49 Air one on scene. We've got visual on the subject, male on the ledge. Over. 10-4, air 1, copy visual, ESU is en route, maintain hover and advise on status changes. Over. Emergency call, 10-56 on 5th and 52nd. Male subject on the rooftop, all units respond. So
1:24:01 Oh, man. If they called him, it's already over. Take it out, negotiate. Straight ahead, sir. The team is almost ready. Section 3, stand by. What's up there? We secure the perimeter, then you take over.
1:24:48 Hey, wait! Wait! Wait! But why? I don't get it. Why? He's a solo guy, that's why. All right, guys, we take the stairs and we catch the lifts somewhere along the way. Move, move!
1:25:51 I repeat a second individual is on scene over he's already there It's not worth it trust me Negotiator Haroto Takeda I knew you would come How many lives have you saved How many lives have you saved I am a little bit And why is it so important to you? Come on, Papa Today is my son's help, but I'll promise you tomorrow
1:27:15 I can't help you. Wow, that's a lot, huh? It's it's hard to sort of think about five minutes of content to give your feedback almost because So much happened in you know in that time but and right the polling is open now let you bring in Your votes from now my initial thoughts were in the initial minute like what we're watching now
1:28:04 As a re-watch I thought if you'd have just re-rolled a few scenes I couldn't tell it was As much 303.1 and stuff you know there was someone pointed out some physics issues with And the jacket wasn't like in the wind. The helicopter pilot also didn't look really emotionally engaged, But this could have been solved through a few more re-rolls And a bit more tech care. And, you know, so I'm not holding it back too much in that regard In that, like, I thought the overall color grading, The show, the music, the pacing, the editing was really, really good. But just this like re-rolling of physics continuity problem Would have really given it that sparkle, you know? Um yeah lots of people are already voting one so you know uh maybe hypercritical of this piece uh
1:28:51 I thought it was really really good but yeah what's your thoughts mate I thought it was overall I thought it was very very good I thought like you I thought it started off with a few mistakes And even in again I was reading the chat at the same time and it was like okay when the helicopter For such an intense scene someone said yeah it was so early emotion and yeah high in wasn't it And then it just got better and better and better and better and for me it got really good Up until I even like the flashback but I think the the reason he became the negotiating and Saved all of those lives I think it was that's what kind of let it down like don't get me wrong It's obviously his his his child and his wife you know he got hit by the van but that wasn't his
1:29:40 Fault I think it would have been better if it was something that he had it was his fault for and That's why he's doing it like he's like I don't want to make that mistake again so that is the Only thing but overall I thought it was really good I do think they had a bit the music was a Bit too dramatic at the beginning it was like it needed to get to the dramatic bit um because it Kind of started off dramatic but overall it was really on that drama though this is maybe the Comment the show's ever received actually in the comments right I just got um lewis from capcatch Say I I sent him the link and said we're live and he goes tune in and the first thing I see is a Man's family getting smashed up by a car literally the first thing he sees on the show like these
1:30:30 First you know you can you can't fake a first appearance so oh mate that's absolutely hilarious Is oh my god what a legend for commenting that in my whatsapp right now I was trying not to laugh The entire time you're saying something just that's great exactly imagine that the first Thing you tuned in you'd be like what type of show is this mate that is absolutely brilliant I mean to be fair he could have tuned in and the door brothers piece or you know marco's piece and Have the same sort of this isn't it weird how week to week everything was music last week everything Like cinematic film and it's like I said it's evolving as of what's going on in the you know The competition space the event space the film stuff it's amazing um you guys are so incredibly
1:31:20 Talented and please do keep submitting to us obviously like I said before subscribe to our Newsletter so you get the regular like event links as well as the submission links which do change Change from time to time as we're updating things and doing things. But yeah, sign up via this particular link to submit your work right now. It's changed from Chris Branch Live, which it was previously. So if you've got the old URL, make sure you update to the new URL and all of that stuff. Anyway, enough Gibba Gabba. There's so many more things we need to watch. We're already an hour and a half into the show, mate. This is the straight Philip chose. It's just so much incredible content, so much. Right. Piece we're going to watch. Um, let me go to my show notes, uh, is by Marcus grip.
Operation Sixten: a war film starring a family cat
1:32:08 Um, who we actually, like I said, he was tuning into the show earlier. I'm not sure if he's still here. He does the wonder live streams now. Congrats on doing that by the way. It's really, really cool to see some, uh, live sessions with him later on in the year Would be really, really cool. Operation 16, this piece. So the, the premise of this one was actually really interesting. Sadly, his dad's cat, 16, passed away a few days ago. So he asked if he could do an AI video about his cat. I didn't think he was expecting this. That's the sort of notes I've got for this one. So let's watch it.
1:32:56 Are you all right, son? Yes, sir. Go get the others! And bring the TNT! Bloody morons. It's me! It's Marcus! Where's the TNT? Let's go It's time for operation 610 what's operation 610 sir
1:33:47 This is 610 our secret weapon he's our only hope now It's been a pleasure serving with you, old friend. Give them hell.
1:34:44 So Mate this is continuing the theme remember last week we showed dave's piece that his son Suggested the idea for and they had that moment you know they had that moment of like Forever they will remember this you know that they had that moment that they could do this and Imagine you know a sad passing away of a cat in your family that was much beloved and you can go And make it a war movie now you can go make it whatever you like just to have that like you know Memory together in this piece of content that can be it's brilliant I love it I and that's him by
1:35:30 The way you know he is the lead character so he put himself in this obviously he looks a bit about Close there with his nose ring and stuff in the war 1917 thing but that looks dead like him it's It's spooky how much that looks like you did a really good job like you know likeness transfer And stuff like that but it's crazy huh yeah I think there's so many things that are going in Here I think obviously um the cat going on a kamikaze mission somebody in the cat yeah that's What lewis in the chat said uh at the end they could say no no cats were harmed during filming Of this this piece yeah yeah as well um the other thing as well that made me think just from what Where he put himself in it yeah you're gonna start seeing that a lot actually because oh yeah for Example I might want to be in a film but I can't act so if I can make this I might as well put
Will creators start casting themselves in their films?
1:36:20 Myself in the film you know or I might as well put friends that I know in the film which obviously From that point of view you're gonna get the the back like the backlash from that because real Actors will be like that's not fair but just from him doing that I just thought to myself I can see That happening a lot but um yeah why it will happen a lot just thinking about it like You have your own rights and likeness to give away right like put yourself in it because you Can sign off on this you know as the director and say I am fully consenting into this because I am The one that's representing myself like so yeah it's kind of hilarious to think about that but Yeah mate so the next one is actually a really nice little segue because john who I got to know
Lucky Charms by Jon Boden
1:37:05 Really good friend of mine now that I talk to a lot in whatsapp about music this theme of music Made the door brothers into music met pub since music you're from music background everyone I Know that's really good in the ai space has this underlying musical theme I've noticed and I I Point it out a lot hey bizarre bunny studios johnny's tuning in that's his youtube handle Mate um he he made himself in a previous thing like all buff and you know he used himself though In his own like thing that's why it's a great little segue from what we just watched you know Putting yourself as the lead in your like thing but this piece we're going to be watching is called Lucky charms this is john's john's latest piece john boden he is on linkedin and bizarre bunny Studios he's on youtube lucky charms is 60 years old and general mills has never turned it into a
1:37:56 Show so I made the trailer that reimagines the world as a dark gritty period piece so this one's One minute and a half long let's check it out here in belfast there's three things men look forward to Whiskey gambling and my lucky charms Aren't they just magically delicious it has come to my attention that this publican is allowing Our men to meet at his establishment with the purpose of organizing against us. We must show everyone who's truly in control. You are nothing but a pitiful man. But I will show you how small.
1:38:42 What happened here then? He called Lucky small. Oh, that will do it then. You dazzled the world, Lucky. Make people believe in magic. But even you can't stop what's coming. Everyone thinks they can catch a leprechaun. Steal everything he has for themselves. But just when they think they're in control, That's the moment they always realize You never catch a leprechaun. You survive one.
1:39:33 Yeah that was great that that's that's a show trailer you know exactly the editing the pacing The music it all works so well as a show trailer now what's awesome is that he is a comedy writer And a musician and he's done multiple different you know he's got so many genres under his belt And this is like so on the point for like what it is you know as a show trailer exactly like you Said the editing the music the epicness the pacing all of it fits really really well the vote is now Open for those in the comments I always forget to announce it um let me go back to my show notes Lucky Charms. Lucky Charms by John Bowden. He's tuning in. You'll see him in the comments. He is
1:40:21 Bizarre Bunny Studios on YouTube. John Bowden, John Bowden is LinkedIn, as I know, the man himself. But yeah, he has a team and yeah, it's so cool. Like the idea of like never turning this into a Show. It's a 60 year old thing. And he made an epic trailer for it. It's such a great showcase Of your skills as an agency, you know, what you can produce with someone. I thought it worked really incredibly well, getting lots of ones coming in Through the chat as well. Yeah. Amazing stuff. Blinders that reminded me of. And compared to the last one, it was really fun and jovial and script and Comedy, you know, it's like I'm saying the diversity of creativity of output. It's like, it's such a great showcase for the talent of an agency to be able To produce this stuff, no matter the brief, it doesn't matter what a brief is.
1:41:11 Answer it. So awesome job. Sherlock Holmes vibes, frosted flakes. Next go Tony. It was general mills, serial IP. That's the sort of backstory to this. So they didn't ever do this. They'd never made it into a show. He decided, And we said this, right? We said, remember the old stories, the B roll, The like the album fillers that never got the music video, go do that stuff. You know, stuff you always wished that was made a show. You didn't have the budget to do so. Look at that. A one minute edited trailer of exactly how the show could look that you get picked up. You could be the director. It could lead to all sorts. It's great. So awesome work. Let's keep going on with the show. Like I said, the most ever user submitted in our show's history, I think, is this week.
1:42:01 I think about 60% of the content that we're watching is all by you guys. So really really well done talented and you guys all agree that it's really well done So now we're going to get more into the curated section though um so we're on video 16 already Which is pretty insane uh but yeah we're still going we've got loads more to show this one's Called escape from berlin it's a final trailer so it's a four and a half minute trailer by rogue Cell pictures they're called this film will represent a new era of ai driven cinematic Storytelling. The original feature-length film is based on an award-winning Writers Guild of America script, which pushes the boundaries of AI-generated filmmaking and cinematic storytelling. So with all that in mind, let's give it a watch.
Escape From Berlin final trailer
1:43:06 You are not a monster! Shut up if you wanna live. Hello. Good morning. Are you a alien? I'm American. I am required to inform you that under Alliance Civil Code, Section 11, All citizens of former NATO member states must possess a registered neural ID by October of this year. So, am I actually required to have a neural ID right now?
1:43:54 No, ma'am. You are not. Not until the end of October. October. Yeah. Go ahead. You have my consent? Are you fully aware that your physiological data may be used in the training of weaponized AGI systems? I am fully aware. A week ago, we intercepted something unusual. A TRX facility, mainland US, requesting an EMP strike. And a single code word. Nemosyne. I can point you in the right direction, Sergeant.
1:44:39 All I ask is your word. No deployables, no remotes. Objective is the European Palanea mainframe. I will need access to the atrium. Nah, it's not doable. Even if we somehow get you in, Those biomarkers will sniff you out pronto. Not if we rewrite the data set, but Blondie here will have to pay a visit to a certain broker Just making sure right right my oh my Mass destruction Barbie herself I
1:45:26 Sold a lot of drones because of you In four years, you show up out of nowhere, and this is what you drop on me, Sergeant. Hey, at least it won't be boring. Our parents died, but we are still breathing. It's post-World War III Berlin, bitches!
1:46:14 She's ace off. Keep it close to the chest and off book. We want to know why she's there. SOCOM package on route to Berlin, Director. Migrant Zone C is in utter chaos, Anderson. Massive flashes occur... Du bist kein Leute. Shut up if you wanna live.
1:47:07 My god it was uh a lot that one the voting is now open on this one um there were lots of cliches As dan says you know film cliches in that one where you're like oh okay I've seen a lot of this Before but um just the epicness of it you know the fact that it looks so much more real the character Like, you know, it's, it's, it's, it's one of those things, isn't it? You're like, okay, It needed more story and definitely they left the action way too long into the Piece. And, uh, there's so much more you could do to, but the epicness, The fact that you can do this now, you know, this, the, the fight scenes, the, The samurai swing in their face and it looks, it's mental, isn't it? Like,
1:47:55 So for me, Also what I thought was really good was that they got the voices spot on for each yes the voices Really needed sometimes I'll hear a voice and I'm like it doesn't fit the that the person but this One they got it spot on um the only body the only person that looked ai was the main character like Everyone else looked like really good and this scene here I thought was quite interesting because I I this potentially could be the future you know talking about you like going full circle from the The episode you know to for you to if you want to wait two and a half hours at the airport you might Have to do what you do uh last week or if you're willing to to basically sell your soul to get
1:48:42 Through quicker then you can do that so there was a lot of true uh realism to agi do you consent to Your likeness being used in agi or whatever the line was it was pretty intense like I say this is Not for everyone. This type of show is like, you know, maybe for you, maybe not for you. Obviously It was more in your camp. Uh, but like, yeah, I just was impressed by the epicness of this one. Anyway, we've got, like I said, that was a longer piece and it's going to be made into a longer Thing. We've got so much more of the show to keep going through. We've got Gabe up again, This time it's with his space trash short film. This premise is a robot explorer finds life on The moon two and a half minute piece let's watch it good morning cp how's the big cheese treating
SPACE TRASH by Gabe Michael
1:49:28 You morning houston it's big white and bumpy just like your ass you're looking good though houston A little cloudy over the pacific did you get the photo upload received Frame that one for the lobby looking good cp see what else you can find in the sector Oh wow, look at that. A moon rock. That's 11,001 this week. Truly a banner day for science. Upload received. And there she is. That heap of space trash has to be the bear sheet.
1:50:13 Status report. Total loss. But tardigrades are huffing the life support runoff and getting real rowdy real fast They're alive? Uh, alive is an understatement What do you see, CP? Um, I see a very large, very translucent reason why I should have negotiated a hazard pay clause in my contract Friendly? I'm not sticking around to ask for a star sign A force mutation. Hard to conduct a peer-reviewed study while the subject is trying to eat me. Oh man.
1:50:58 There goes my ride home. We need proof of life. You have to get that shot. Working on it. Ah, okay. Got it. Houston, confirm upload? Upload received. Has the subject... No further signs of life. Understood. So, about that ride home... Hang tight, CP. CP, we have other plans for you.
1:51:57 Hey we still got gabe tuning in made with c dance 2.0 via dromenia he's telling us in the comments Right now I love this piece so the characters were so likable weren't they like this robot Character's voice was so likable I was brought in straight away uh like to this little world And yeah the idea of its name being space trash and all of it you know like the whole world I really bought into this one what about you mate what's your thoughts on this one I like it it was so different to anything I've seen yes it was premises this week the original Premises have really stood out huh yeah that one kind of like it was so unique that one kind of Like but I don't know I don't like I like it I like it a lot I liked it a lot I like the style
1:52:47 Of it which is so different and I and I really appreciate that it's um yeah I really like this One really like this one more to come coming from gabe thank you so much for tuning in and Yeah congrats on getting two pieces in this week's show like I said so prolific it's 200 200 000 credit are you part of the cpp program uh gabe Uh because that's 200 000 credits that one I'm being told by Paul here that it reminded him of Oblivion which is a Tom Cruise movie so some references in there that I'm not that aware of But again I would I wonder um if you know you know sort of stylistically what that reminded You of because to me it was so unique I've never seen anything like it I know that's why I was so
1:53:34 Drawn in to the world initially and the sort of vibe and tonality of it and the characters just You know, the just vibe of the characters and the fun. Yeah. So he's part of the Dreemina CPP program. Yes, it looks like. And again, like we just had a Dreemina sponsored event actually too, because we Had CapCut in Cannes and then we had Dreemina over in Lisbon. Those guys are actively signing people up now to the CPPs. So if you're a creative or an advertiser, a filmmaker, make sure you go and sign Up to sort of get these credits where they're becoming more widely available. And if you sell them the idea of what you're going to use with these credits, I'm sure They'll be even more appreciative and likely to accept you onto these programs and stuff.
How do creators get free credits through CPPs?
1:54:20 So yeah, it's always a good idea though, you know, to look at the CPP programs for all The various tools that you use and apply and apply and apply until they accept you essentially, You know when you're making really cool stuff they're not going to be able to ignore you let's Be honest uh that's just the the beauty of it but yeah we've been very thankful for the cpp access That we've been given and it's really helped us make a lot more and test a lot more that's the Truth of it you know the re-rolls don't become an actual expense to the budget so you can actually Test a little bit more and stuff which is really important for creators the next one is by legend Of the show needs no introduction but obviously it's dave clark we watched his show last week um
MASK ON by Dave Clark
1:55:05 Where he made it with his uh son you know which I thought was just such a beautiful moment like I Said this one completely different you know so talented other people have been on the show they Can just do multiple genres multiple stuff this one is a music video which I don't even know if We've seen a music video from davia or not but this is called yeah mask on is called it's um IMusic video, so he must have made some in the past, from his group Afraid to Sleep, Which is his handle as well, sleep with threes instead of Es on YouTube. With all of that being said anyway, let's watch it.
1:55:58 I've been sleepwalking through the rain Dark thoughts riding my lane Pocket full of hurt and shame Still I never say your name Black tears on my white teeth You left marks, you still haunt me I look fine but I don't breathe When it's quiet I can't believe I keep running from the door But it follows where I go I keep falling to them low And you already know I'm too blind, too gone Still I sing this song
1:56:44 Heart cold, mask on I've been hurt too long I'm too gone, too gone Tell me where I went wrong Night cold, back strong I've been hurt too long Now the mirrors tell the truth Empty cup and broken youth, every wind still feel like doom Got a grin with a crack in it, every high got a black in it I've been good at actin' it, but the pain keeps stackin' it I keep runnin' from the low, but it follows where I go
1:57:30 I keep fallin' to them low, and you already know I'm too gone, too gone Still I sing this song Heart cold, mask on I've been hurt too long Too gone, too gone Tell me where I went wrong Night cold, back strong I've been hurt so long If I fade, don't chase me If I break, don't save me
1:58:16 I've been drowning lately I've been drowning lately Too gone, too gone Still I sing this song Heart cold, mask on I've been hurt too long Too gone, too gone Tell me where I went wrong
1:59:02 Oh this bass at the end of my headphones was tingling right the polling is now open for this Piece we've seen one from metapuppet now we've seen one from dave it was absolutely wild I love I love the character I love the editing it was so my style though you know like literally I was Like bobbing my head going this is fire you know I believe that he's made it probably himself in Sooner or something like this but it could be a real song I need to get some extra information From him I I didn't get enough information but I just sent him a screenshot and whatsapp The piece oh we're watching the piece and uh yeah like uh I love it you know a foire into music
1:59:48 Videos after all that we've seen from dave like he's just done so many genres and now this it's Like so cool to see how uh he can do so many things lots of ones coming in on the chat of Course you know dave is the goat you know like by the way I just wanted to say if you've got a hard Stop paul's got a hard stop so I appreciate it yeah I'm gonna have to shoot off off I appreciate Everyone tuning in but what were your thoughts as last minute for this overall I thought that was Great I just said this is a typical music video I think we've when it comes to ai you can get away With a lot more in music videos than right say short films and what I mean by that is we're Searching your license see people saying oh why didn't you get an actor in that etc but here you Could just see like some of the things you can do and you know I think it was great I thought that
2:00:37 Was a really great it's a good song as well you know the fact it helps that you've got a good song You know if it was a rubbish song with a great video it's gonna be like well that's not really Gonna cut it but I was getting some rest in peace juice world vibes from the main character you know Like another sort of rapping influences and but the trap beat was like really a lovely blend and Like yeah really really cool there are lots of ones already still coming in yeah and like I said If you've got to go you've got to go guys I appreciate you tuning in we're live back every Tuesday and there may be a little like break in the schedule I've got america coming up I've got Some other things coming up but we'll hopefully try to consistently stay on tuesday in the same Period so wherever in the world you're tuning in from these two hours are the slot to remember but
2:01:25 Sign up to newsletter and all of that so you get future when the event exactly is going to be live Because it may have to bump week to week depending on schedules andrew you're everywhere as well mate So it's uh yes yeah lots of lots of training coming up I'm traveling from next week uh so Yeah gonna be all over the place but um I'm doing a lot of stuff with uk producers so I'm doing a Massive program with um they're not the national film and television school in the uk who's with Amazon prime so we're training a lot of tv presenters and I'm doing a lot of stuff in The world of tv so of course I'm showing them this type of content so there could be some other things Interesting things in the pipeline especially with some all on top of settling into your own house

2:02:14 And moving your house all that as well at the same time it always happens doesn't it exactly exactly Me today is in an hour's time my football club's about to play in uh in the Champions League Semi-final so I'm about to go good luck yeah so um everyone game was insane wasn't it the Five four one oh my god that's the big one but thank you everyone for listening I see all the Messages in the chat again this show really is because of you guys so thank you everyone in the Chat tell everyone tell your friends sign up to the newsletters and uh yeah we'll see you guys Next week yeah appreciate all you guys and uh yeah paul if you need to go you need to go I'm I may be
2:03:01 Doing a few extra more videos if you guys want it I can still see there's a few people watching so Yes mate good luck in the game we'll take it easy Yeah I can see a few more comments coming in for andrew now it's always on a little bit of a delay Most people tuning in from YouTube this week, Which is honestly the better live experience. We are live through X and we are live through LinkedIn right now, But LinkedIn, YouTube undoubtedly is the best way to absorb the show because it's just less Delayed, Less lag. There's a YouTube comment section, All of that stuff. Yes. So I'm being told in my show notes that 19 and 21 are nice little closers. So with Paul and Andrew gone, It's back to the old show.
2:03:49 Show now we've got a producer a co-host we've got all of this stuff uh but yeah it's uh you guys are So talented truthfully like it's incredible that the people that watch this show are the ones who Content we're watching and the standard of it from week to week is just going up and up and up and up And the tools that we get unlocked and stuff like this it's absolutely crazy this one is by somebody Who is incredibly talented as well, but not so followed on LinkedIn. His handle is actually LOA. That's the X handle that you should follow for Loa. This one is called Alvar the Unseen, and it's actually a nine-minute piece, But I've cut it down to five minutes.
ALVAR: The Unseen by LoA
2:04:34 Again, we're trying to keep it within the five-minute showcase Of what you can go watch as the longer piece somewhere else existing And sign up to the newsletter in order to get the links for all of the places that we curate our Content from that's in this section of the show we're basically doing um submitted pieces in the Earlier section that's from you guys and then things that we find in the wider public and this One was one that I found in the wider public and thought wow this is incredible so let's watch alva RUNNAM, RUNNAM, RUNNAM, RUNNAM
2:05:51 Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh I'm sorry.
2:07:03 I'm sorry. Thank you.
2:08:05 Oh, my God.
2:08:53 Faster, boy! I'm sorry.
2:09:53 It's okay buddy, I can help. Stay calm. Stay calm. Easy. Easy. Wow absolutely incredible the poll is now live for that piece I appreciate you know everyone's Tuning in a bit longer than the show was anticipated to go for so uh but if you are still At your keyboard give us a one two or three in the comments what you thought about that particular Piece for me I'm just like blown away by the world building capabilities now so so cool to see what Being stunning, original, lots of ones starting to come into the voting system now.
2:10:42 Like, God, the strength, guys, the strength of individuals to build worlds that we're Going to be able to enter into later on this year with the world models and stuff is kind Of incredible. But yeah, the storyline really worked in that as well as the overall style of the piece. And yeah, really, really, really cool. Man and just this character and this wolf and the stylized wolf as jimmy was saying it was Really really cool um so reminded mary of world of warcraft and ice age that is one hell of a Combination yeah it definitely is true though yeah you're right still got the poll open for this one Um which is the penultimate one of the shows so get your last votes in now if you're still
Breaking Bad by Balenciaga by demonflyingfox
2:11:31 The last one as a show closer, you know, this is why I'm just basically staying on to do this extra portion of the show is we always like to close out something funny, something, you know, we've had music in the past, but this one is, is going to break all sorts of like worlds together, which is kind of hilarious. If you've seen this one it's because we've shown this creator demon flying fox for various previous Music videos remember the redneck music videos and stuff like this in this case he put together The breaking bad world but made it as though it was made by balenciaga this one is an epic long Thing and I'm definitely going to cut it short because it's an eight and a half minute piece
2:12:18 But you can go and watch it on youtube just type in demon flying fox breaking bad by balenciaga We're going to watch the first five minutes of it just because like I said it's a great show It's absolutely hilarious to be honest with you let's go jesse we need to cook some balenciaga You want to cook balenciaga you and me I've been watching you jesse I know what you do I know your fashion. It's ridiculous. We will not make garbage. Yo, what the hell, Mr. White? You're an art teacher, man. You don't know shit about running an underground fashion brand. We will produce something raw, expensive-looking, provoking. I know how to make a piece that actually slaps.
2:13:03 Nah, man. This is crazy. You want to start producing Balenciaga out of my aunt's studio? I need money, Jesse. A lot of it. Fast. And you're going to help me. Yo, are you out of your goddamn mind? I'm not doing this with you. Yes, you are. Because if you don't, I'll report every fake sample, Every stolen pattern, Every shady drop you've ever produced. We have to cook Valenciaga. Shit. Fine, fine. We'll cook Valenciaga. But if this goes wrong, If we get sued or die, I'm blaming you, bitch. Good. Then let's get to work. This is insane, yo. We're cooking Balenciaga in an RV in the middle of the desert. Focus, Jesse. We have work to do.
2:13:51 I'm gonna die in this thing, man. Look at this setup. This is a death trap. We're gonna blow ourselves up. We're not going to blow ourselves up. Just follow the procedure. Procedure? Yo, you're an art teacher. What the hell do you know about cooking Balenciaga? More than you. I'm gonna die in a fucking RV, bitch Yo These are runway grade, look at the sneakers, they're massive This is pure Balenciaga 99% pure You're a goddamn artist, Mr. White This is art Actually, it's just Balenciaga, but thank you, Jesse
2:14:38 I'm glad it's acceptable Yeah, bitch Oh shit. What? It's Tuco. He wants to meet. Mmm. Hell yeah. Smells like money. Smells like real Balenciaga. Now, where's the dress? Show me the dress. That dress is calling my name. Let me try that shit on. Tight, tight, tight! This dress is tight, yo! So damn tight! I like it a lot. We'll make a lot of money together. But next time, make it even tighter.
2:15:25 What did you say? I said next time, make it even tighter, boss. You know, for the look. Tighter? You want it tighter? I'll show you tight, you stupid... Oh! Nobody tells me how tight! Nobody! Now, where were we? Next drop in one week. Make them tight. Real tight. Well, well, well. If it isn't the great Heisen Balenciaga himself And his loyal little sidekick. How do you already know who we are? I make it my business to know who's dropping fashion in this town. Word on the street is you two have been cooking Some very high-quality Balenciaga.
2:16:13 Were designed by someone who hates the customer but loves their money. Very impressive. We need your help. Legal help. Legal help? From me? Well, you've come to the right place, Gentlemen. I specialize in difficult fashion situations. Trademark infringement, Casting couch, NDAs, money laundering through Fashion Week. I do it all. We're in trouble. Serious trouble. Trouble is my business! So tell me, what kind of trouble are we talking about? Is it the kind where you get blacklisted from every runway in Europe? Or the kind where they pull you out of the Seine with a Balenciaga trash bag over your head? Both. Oh, I like you two already.
2:16:59 Look, what you're doing is cute, but if you want your pieces in every flagship window from Paris to Milan, You're going to need a serious distributor. Someone whose profile is completely seamless. I know a guy who owns half the Balenciaga stores in the country. All of them completely legitimate. On paper. His name is Gustavo Fring. If he likes your product, you're the talk of next season. How do we meet him? Leave that to me. I'll set it up. But fair warning, Gus doesn't suffer fools. So make sure your next drop is perfect. Anyway that's five minutes of that um absolutely hilarious like I said the full thing is a full Eight minutes but this heisenberg character this uh oh my god the soul goodman and the
2:17:49 Tuco character and uh yeah absolutely hilarious to me and like I said bit of a show closer Um appreciate you know it's just a silly little funny melding of the worlds there Uh let's have a poll for this one anyway the poll is open last piece of the show what did you all Think ones twos and threes saw some zoolander comments in there and and interestingly the Original rv from breaking bad was at south by southwest this year that was pretty insane tonight Um getting uh john saying I thought it was good but the pacing needed a bit of work Overall solid yeah I would definitely agree with that uh we featured demon flying folks in the past Funny sort of music videos. That was obviously more of like a story driven character thing,
2:18:36 But he generally makes songs that go as part of his like overall thing. But yeah, If you want to follow and watch the rest of that, That is demon flying Fox over on YouTube. That's where we get all of this. Like I said, this one wasn't for everyone. It was just a funny little sort of like end of the show, Hilarious thing of the mixing of worlds. This is what we're going to see a lot of this year, I believe, you know, When world models truly come out we're going to start seeing people mix together all sorts of Pop culture stuff into new worlds that we enter and we're going to have new experiences yeah Jimmy's saying that overall that the lip sync was a bit all over the place but come on it's for the Lols exactly there's no there's no point to this piece almost it is just literally a funny youtube
Will world models let us mix pop culture into new worlds?
2:19:25 Video that he puts uh up onto his youtube channel and yeah it's a great follow honestly there's Serious filmmakers as the serious ad agencies. There's the, I'm making this for the lols there's, And there's everything in between is kind of hilarious, but thank you so much guys for tuning In. Um, sorry that it's been a bit like last week was on the Friday and this time it's on the Tuesday. As I said, I've been just in and out of various things, hosting different AI stuff that's happening In Europe, which is really cool to see, honestly, uh, getting around to France and Portugal and Various other places might be going to the states in a few weeks as well almost definitely I'm going To the states in a few weeks it's just how long I stay in the states for so let me know if you're
2:20:10 In la or california or going to any of these events you know what events you're going to I'm going to definitely be at google io and uh maybe to announce some more stuff again not exactly Sure but yeah exciting times I'm going to get rid of the poll going to get rid of myself thanks so Uh, look out for us on a Tuesday is the regular show time, but again, this may vary. So sign up on the newsletter just in case it changes because of various travel, uh, Things that I have to do. Hey, thanks so much for a great show, Jeff. Let's go brand. Let's go.
